Hey guys - does anyone have any insight on which hotel the WWE Superstars are staying at this year? NJ or NY?
The past few years have been pretty fun and Ive been able to meet a bunch of superstars/divas by patiently waiting outside for them to come around. Its usually a fun crowd and as long as you are respectful, a lot of people will come over for pics and autographs.
Any insight is much appreciated. Thanks.

There is a sheraton right near the stadium they might be staying at. There are a few other ones around there too almost right next ot the stadium. I would imagine one of those though.

Well, there's the Hilton at Time Square, the Sheraton at Time Square, and several other hotels. I'm pretty sure that it will be located in Downtown Manhattan.

Huge enough to house all the crew for sure. I think thats where my friends and I are staying so if that is the place, what a huge win it would be. At least for getting pictures. I'm not a big autograph hound. I like getting pics with the superstars. |

Isn't it a shame that WWE doesn't provide several sessions in which you can go and meet superstars, divas and legends in a controlled environment across Wrestlemania week without bothering them in their free time. Oh wait.

Oh wait. Seriously. Last year during Mania weekend Wade Barrett walked into a Subway to get lunch. The place was completely empty except for me, my friend, and the workers. I didn't bother him because I know how tiring that can be. Getting bothered wherever you go. Yes, they kind of sign up for that life when they do this, but trying to hunt them down like this is creepy. Sgt Slaughter was also at the same airport as me, again I didn't say anything to him because there's a time and a place. It's Axxess or the other signings. |

I always thought hanging around hotels where they are staying on their free time off to relax is can of crappy to do

Unless you're staying at the exact hotel and on the exact floor as they are its going to be hella hard to meet anyone. WrestleMania is the one time a year that security is EVERYWHERE. Drop some money and meet them the right way.

I happened to stay in the same hotel everyone was at for the Royal Rumble this year. I was using the computer in the lobby and Mark Henry sat down at the one right across from me (facing me). I nodded to him as I would to anyone else who sat down there and let him go about his business. WWE has Axxess for a reason. Utilize it. |

I wouldn't even want to know where Trent is staying and I'm the biggest Trent geek there is. I would just wait for autograph sessions. Give them SOME space.

Oh wait. Well I don't get to see WWE Superstars on a daily basis and I am always respectful - I don't shove things in their faces and if they walk away, I respect that. Axxess is great and all but some of us dont feel like waiting in 2 hour long lines for Natalya's autograph. Also, surprisingly, not every wrestler is CM Punk and a lot of them appreciate the fans noticing them (the ones who aren't on TV every week especially). I have had a lot of luck at past Wrestlemanias catching wrestlers in friendly environments having beers and willing to talk and take a few pics. I don't think its fair to knock the fans that want to go the extra mile and see a superstar in a setting that you don't have to pay $$$ for a quick picture. Not all of us are ignorant. |

Just for the record, its Wrestlemania week - its the one week where I think its OK to be a fan and ask to take pictures - the superstars are usually in very good moods, excited and understand most of us fly from all over the world to see the show - so they are willing to go the extra mile that week alone.
