Even though hes said this multiple times, Like usual, I hope hes lying. Davey is without a doubt one of the best wrestlers in the world right now.

I don't understand him at all. He could of easily been in Daniel Bryans place in the WWE by now. Yet he agrees to do these angles in wrestling and once he is tired of them he just sits down and says "well I will just retire" only to come back six months later to do the exact same thing.

How in the world would he get in the WWE. He has the build but is very small even by indy wrestling standards.

I don't know, Davey said in his shoot with Steen that he feels that he no longer has a place in wrestling and it didn't sound like he was too happy with the way ROH has been treating him lately.

Guy's a phenomenal wrestler, for a term that gets thrown around a lot, he truly is one of the very best in the world.
But sometimes I really wonder what goes on in that head of his.

Like Terry Funk, Mick Foley, Ric Flair and Roddy Piper, he'll be back.

I don't understand either, but TBH, I hope he stays retired this time.

B ut sometimes I really wonder what goes on in that head of his. idk considering he spit on me 3 times in my face during an indy show back in 2007 (i was sitting in the front row) after the match he grabbed the ring bell and smashed it on the ground...he seemed legit pissed......this was the same week he had a car wreck. right before he spit on me the 3rd time him cussing out a fat guy in the audience who was chanting "please stop spitting"

Hell of a talent, but I can't help but think this guy is an egotistical douche.

I've always thought Davey has Napoleon Syndrome.
I don't doubt he's talented, but as far as psychology goes, he's one of the worst IMO.

Won't be surprised if he actually does it, how many times can he cry wolf before he actually goes through with it?

I really like him as a wrestler but dude has way to big of and ego and seems to be a little bit of a diva and nutcase. In terms of pure in ring ability and the ability to preform any type of move possible Davey would be at the top of the list, but in terms of story telling in a match and actual selling ability he would be one of the worse.
So go a hedd and retire and hell take Kyle O'Riley with him on the way out. That way we can get a super talented tag team in Eddie Edwards and Bobby Fish together.Who together in ROH would be gold.

I think he's a decent technical wrestler, but I've heard nothing but bad things about him outside of the ring.

Indy wrestler who cried wolf... Would that be an 'American wolf' at that?? Davey Richards idolized Dynamite Kid, so maybe that's why he is so messed up half the time.
