Best type of paint for painting these plastic belts?, so it won't chip or break off once you put it around the waist of the figures.

Honestly, I just use acrylic paints like I use on the figures. When it's dry I coat it in semi-gloss. Haven't had any problems.

Acrylic paint works then you just seal it so it won't chip off during play. I also heard gel pens work but I never tried it.

Put a light coat of Superglue over the paint and it won't chip as easily.
