I was thinking what if Mattel did a Hall Of Fame flashback set featuring the inductees a few
Months after their induction.
And they'd be released by class I'm sure it'd be too expensive but if they came with a removable tux or hall of fame plaque or something...
Just an idea I had

LOVE THIS IDEA!
would like to maybe play catch up somehow too since there's already a lot of HOFers i'd like to have. like maybe release 2 sets a year (most current and work backwards at the sametime?)
also, would like these superstars in their primes - not in their acceptance speech attires. *celebrity inductees not needed - maybe make them BAF?

I don't know about an annual subset, but when they do release figures of Hall of Famers in the regular lines, I wouldn't mind a little HOF logo on the current packaging - maybe a little blurb about them being part of the Class of [insert year]. Spice up the packaging a little bit, lol.
(It would be bittersweet to see Macho on the pegs with no HOF designation, though.)
