Shocking that it came so fast, I just initially heard he was sick again yesterday, but clearly he had been battling it far longer than that. Sad to hear.

Just read that, that's a bummer, he was one of the best as far as movie reviewers go.

Such a loss for the industry.
RIP Mr. Ebert.

He was a top notch writer. I loved his "Great Movies" pieces. I learned a lot by reading his articles.

One of my biggest influences as an aspiring journalist. Really sad to see him go. Nobody had as big of an impact as Ebert. Rest in peace.

I too just heard about his cancer coming back yesterday. Really surprised how fast everything develops. Obviously he was sick before. I hadnt seen a pic of him since he had his jaw removed, its eerie how similar he and Bobby Heenan both look alike.

Wow, that's incredibly sad. I've been reading his reviews for well over a decade. He will be missed.

Awful day for anyone associated with the critical and journalistic aspects of film, and the industry itself. R.I.P.

Didn't Ebert die of the same type of cancer?
