HBK Turning On HHH. Then It Turning Into A Year Feud. And Then Having Their Showdown At WrestleMania 30. I Would Fricken Flip Out If This Happened. It Would Be Great Storytelling Thats For Sure.

Shawn needs to remain retired. This. Also, if HHH loses, he's supposed to be retired, storylinewise. I don't see it happening.

Why Is Every Word Capitalized?
Also.... no, that would be an awful twist.
Shawn needs to stay retired.

The better twist is that the PPV will be good.

Terrible idea.
1. Why would HBK turn on HHH? Makes no sense. 2. Another year long feud? No thanks. 3. Triple H and Shawn Michaels already had their showdown at SummerSlam 2002. And Armageddon '02. And Royal Rumble 04. And Bad Blood 04. And Taboo Tuesday 04. If Shawn is going to come out of retirement, at least let it be for a fresh exciting match and not one we've seen a million times before.

No. Shawn Michaels retired for a reason, and he has stated on multiple occasions that he has every intention of honoring that commitment. He feels it would be a disservice to his legacy to be "one of those guys."
Plus, the Triple H/HBK feud is played out anyway, and if it ever made sense, it was last year. Doing it now would be horrible storytelling.

I can't stop laughing at the thought that you thinking this was an original, "new" idea.

Lol at all the people saying he should stay retired. If he can still go and put on an awesome match, why should he stay retired? It's the same dumbass people that think Taker should retire just because he's old.

Except I don't think Taker should retire because he's old, I think he should retire because some poor sap challenging Taker's streak at WrestleMania when everyone knows he doesn't stand a chance is getting old. I also care about Taker's health. The guy is almost 50, he doesn't really have anything new to contribute, his body can barely handle one match a year, he should just pack it in.

Doing it now would be horrible storytelling. Exactly. Michaels never wanted to become one of those guys to rest on his laurels for too long and leave the business in bad shape. HBK wanted to go out as the best in-ring performer of all-time. And Michaels knew if he came back, he wouldn't be the same wrestler and fans would have that as their final image of him.

I've thought about this over the past week. It's possible that they could go this direction. Whilst it's not exactly hard to 'predict' it might happen, nobody on here would bet their house on it, I'd say.
The one thing I know is that it would be a jaw dropper. The only successful way that it could be done is if Shawn Michaels goes the smug 'I had to be the one to retire you' route.. and HHH spends a year pleading with the board of directors to make the match for WM30 and force both men out of retirement. They could elevate it by having some worked shoot segments where Hunter visits Shawn's house and/or attacks him at interviews for his show, culminating in the Board of Directors making the match for Mania 30 and 'forcing' them both out of retirement for one night only, therefore (kayfabe) Shawn's retirement, at least, remained honoured through his intent.
