I tried to do a Nasty Boy head swap using the "put your thumb under the chin and pop the head off method." I have used this method many times, all successful. This time, both figures broke on the torso at the neck. They did not break along the seam; the peg the connects the head to the torso pushed itself out of the back, breaking the plastic. The plastic on this torso style seems weaker than others.
I have seen many Nasty Boy head swaps around. Can anyone tell me how they were done? I am leary to use the boil and pop method because it often loosens joints.
Thanks in advance.

use the boil and pop method. if you only place the heads in the water and no other joints then they will be unaffected. also if you just grab the head and pull straight up, instead of pushing it backwards by the chin i think there would be less chance of the back of the neck snapping aginst the head. good luck

This has happened to me before also. There is a way to fix it. If you still have the peice that broke off than you can simply super glue it back on. If you don't put too much pressure on it it will be fine.

if you ever need to use the boiling method for any part changes, once you have changed the part run under the cold tap and the softened plastic should retract and go hard again and tighten. hope i helped

Jakks is using shitty plastic for the neck pieces now (they are constantly cracking)... you'll have to boil and pop..

My friend had his Saggs break at the neck when he tried to swap. I think he even boiled it.
I on the other hand was very lucky. I boiled them and everything went smooth.
