Well, this time last year on Raw the "YES!" Chants got Daniel Bryan incredibly over. Could it happen this year with Fandango? I mean, same thing happened with the fans singing Fandangos entrance theme and it's all that's being talked about right now. Heck, last year after Raw Daniel came out to thank the fans and started a Yes chant. This year after Raw Fandangos theme played so they could sing along to it.
I really hope the WWE do this right, because Fandango has a lot of potential and won me over as a fan at Wrestlemania and he is quickly becoming my favourite superstar.

The one thing I fear is that they will change his theme song to stop it.
Like they tried to turned the Yes on Bryan with the NO's.

No... D-Bry got over because of his talent. Fandango doesn't have a fraction of the raw talent that D-Bry has.

Did I miss something when I missed Raw? Did Fandango have an honest-to-God good match or something?

You used the term raw talent, and I would argue that Bryan, whilst a tremendous athlete himself, has worked his ass off and studied the art of grappling to become a craftier performer. Johnny Curtis is naturally athletic and his physique is tremendous. To say he doesn't have a fraction of D-Bry's talent is a pretty naive thing to say in my opinion.

Yes he will but if the WWE wants to keep him heel they will do anything they can to not let "the audience" control the character.
Even though all they ever try to do on every show is make you (the audience) feel like you can control the show. If it's something they dont WANT you to control, they will fight it at every turn

The guy went one and one with CHRIS FREAKING JERICHO at WRESTLEMANIA and had a bad match, if not the worst of his career. If that had been Bryan/Jericho then it would have been MOTN (at least).

Blame it on the booking. Who decided Jericho should dominate the entire match and Fandango would only get a roll up? It's obvious they weren't booking it for them to have a wrestling masterpiece but rather have Fandango barely win by dumb rookie luck.

I remember last year, in my work (I work in a night club in England), every shift for about a month after WrestleMania, we would constantly get Yes chants from the customers.

Ultimately, it was the guys first match as the Fandango character, and it was not only on the biggest stage, but they were also given 10 minutes and the most basic of match structures. All I'm saying is that it's kinda daft to say that Bryan didn't get over because of "Yes", but only because he is infinitely talented. Bryan struck gold with a catch phrase, just as Fandango has struck gold with his catchy theme. Both are very talented.

The one thing I fear is that they will change his theme song to stop it. Like they tried to turned the Yes on Bryan with the NO's. What? Him yelling 'No!' only made chanting 'Yes!' more fun for fans. I don't get why everybody thinks WWE always go out of their way to ruin a good thing.

Every wrestling book you'll ever read will tell you that the bookers don't control every single move of every match. They give a basic framework, a few spots they specifcally want, and an ending. The rest, depending on the skill level of the people involved, is left up to the competitors (one of whom, in this case, is Chris Jericho, a man who wrestled over 1300 matches before ever winning a world title). While I don't doubt the booker said things like "Johnny, you hit your legdrop twice," or "Chris, hit all your finishers," or "Johnny, you win with a rollup," I highly doubt he said things like "Johnny, screw up the Lionsault by being too close to the ropes," or "OK guys, use mounted punches so many times it looks like a Divas match."
