I can't see him getting to Bryan's level. The love for him had been building for years on the indies. The thing with Fandango is compatible to a child getting a new toy. Its loved because its new. Its up to the WWE & Fandango to see if they can capitalize on it

All Fandango has to do is keep telling the crowd "DON'T SING MY SONG!!! IT'S MY SONG!!" (blah, blah, blah) and throw a temper tantrum.. to keep the crowd humming/singing.. and remain heel.

Similar to how Bryan turning Heel actually may have given the 'Yes!' chants longevity because the Yes/ No duel between him and the fans began.

Blame it on the booking. Who decided Jericho should dominate the entire match and Fandango would only get a roll up? It's obvious they weren't booking it for them to have a wrestling masterpiece but rather have Fandango barely win by dumb rookie luck. Every wrestling book you'll ever read will tell you that the bookers don't control every single move of every match. They give a basic framework, a few spots they specifcally want, and an ending. The rest, depending on the skill level of the people involved, is left up to the competitors (one of whom, in this case, is Chris Jericho, a man who wrestled over 1300 matches before ever winning a world title). While I don't doubt the booker said things like "Johnny, you hit your legdrop twice," or "Chris, hit all your finishers," or "Johnny, you win with a rollup," I highly doubt he said things like "Johnny, screw up the Lionsault by being too close to the ropes," or "OK guys, use mounted punches so many times it looks like a Divas match." Soooo... Judging by this post, the only thing that could be 100% blamed on Fandango is being too close to the ropes for the lionsault... Despite the fact Jericho dictated where he would be in relation to the ring with the move just prior. It would've looked more silly for Fandango to start rolling to the middle of the ring for better position. Not even close to all the blame can be put on Fandango for that match and I'm a huge Jericho fan...

The one thing I fear is that they will change his theme song to stop it. Like they tried to turned the Yes on Bryan with the NO's. yes, because we all know how quickly WWE changed Kurt Angle's theme to avoid the You Suck chants. sarcasm?
