Not much of a white castle fan. I hate their burgers, but the chicken rings aren't bad.

I love white castle.
I have a box of frozen ones in my freezer as we speak.

Far too much hatin' going on in here.
As a former fat stoner kid, I used to live off their chicken ring & chicken breast sandwiches with cheese...some cheese fries...wow, it literally used to taste like heaven.
There's a reason they made a movie about Harold & Kumar getting there.

We used to have a Krystal Burger down here, which was basically the White Castle of the South. Lot more fried options.

I like White Castle...but it doesn't like me.
The one near me is still relatively new. I remember people were waiting at 3-4 am for it to open for the first time (at 9).

I like White Castle. I used to eat it all the time when I used to live in NY. I live in NC and we don't have them. I usually have family members bring me some when they come visit. The frozen ones are not the same.

I haven't been to one in years. They call those hamburgers "sliders" for a reason. Eat one & you'll find out. My former roommates used to bring home a crave case (30 hamburgers in a cardboard suitcase) whenever they would come back from a heavy night of drinking. The smell would linger in the apartment for days.

Yep, we call them (well Krystals since that what we have here) Gut Busters cause within 25 minutes of eating them you're blowing a toilet up somewhere.

Far too much hatin' going on in here. As a former fat stoner kid, I used to live off their chicken ring & chicken breast sandwiches with cheese...some cheese fries...wow, it literally used to taste like heaven. There's a reason they made a movie about Harold & Kumar getting there. The main reason that movie has White Castle in it's title is because White Castle paid for that advertisement. One could also say it's called Harold and Kumar go to White Castle because one has to be VERY stoned for that food to taste remotely good? Oh yuck white castle. I worked overnight at a grocery store when I was in High School. At 3 am every day we would all go on lunch. Sometimes we would eat out. At 3 am choices are very limited. One guy recomended white castle. I hated it. I remember standing there watching them make the burgers. They put the mini meat patties on the grill, then they put onions on that, then they put the pickle quickly followed by the bun. Never once do they flip the meat. So it seems to me like it's raw on one side. And then the smell. Those have a unique funk to them. And then the taste, just horrible. I cant compare it to anything I've eaten before. I just was so disgusted by the taste. And the absolute worst part is they cost as much as a burger at Mcdonalds or Burger King when the White castle burger is less than half the size. The Chicken rings are ok and so are the cheese sticks are ok too but nothing special. White castle would be my absolute last choice as far as what to eat. I'd eat a cup noodle soup before I ate White Castle. I'd eat day old food before I ate fresh made white castle. I'd try some new exotic cuisine, like hindu, before I ate white castle. Maybe that should tell you about the quality of Mcdonalds and Burger King lol I do have a few of the restraunts around by me and the are pretty good. We call them rat burgers around here and repeaters b/c the next day they end up repeating. Funny story i once was in the White Castle this lady ordered her meal swiped her debit card got her food never pushed debit or credit and left and byt he time the employee saw it she already left and stole the burgers lol McDonalds and Burger King taste better to me. I dont know who has the better quality food so I go by taste. I've been to both McDonalds and Burger King at 3 am. The food is awfull. It's like they cook everything at midnight and then it sits there till they switch over to breakfast. With both, the beef in the burgers tastes so nasty. And the fried products such as chicken sandwhiches, nuggets, or fish sandwhiches are all rock hard. The fries are a toss up. Maybe they have nice fresh fries, maybe they are old and hard. One time I got Burger King at 3 am. I drove back to eat at work, and when I bit into the Burger it was pink inside. I was so disgusted. That was the last time I ever went to Burger King at 3 am.

I LOVE White Castle, but I don't get there much since the closest one is about 90 min. away.
The fresh burgers are much better than the frozen ones imo.

White Castle sounds like a retirement food delivery company.

I'm not a big fan of the burgers but their chicken rings and fish sandwiches are pretty good and I don't know if they still have them, but the pulled pork sandwiches weren't too bad either.

White Castles is great when not abused. Because it will abuse you back later on lol.
If you enjoy the frozen, then great but the in-store product is way better IMO. (as far as fast food goes)
My typical order is: 1 Double cheeseburger, 2 chicken breasts with cheese, 6pc. chicken ring, regular fry.
However, ive never had Carls Jr. or Hardees.

And the absolute worst part is they cost as much as a burger at Mcdonalds or Burger King when the White castle burger is less than half the size. A single hamburger costs $0.78 at White Castle. I'm 100% certain they don't cost that at the other burger chains. I really like White Castle for some reason. I only go there probably twice a year but I really like it. Now for the burgers being so small they have an absurd amount of sodium in them.
