Just curious if anybody has ever tried customizing an R3 tech head onto an elite body, while retaining the ball joint.
Well, let me rephrase that, I want to put an R3 Kane head onto the new RSC exclusive once it comes out. The only problem is that the R3 kane head is an old school cut joint (just left and right movement)
I'm thinking once I remove the head, I'll have to dremel out a hole to fit onto the top of the elite ball joint.
any tips, or pointers? thanks!

Dremel out the neck, you only need the C shape hole for the ball to pop into so you can dremel up to it in a Funnel shape to get it to fit the neck.

I always dremmel a hole in the head and pop it on just like mattel/ jakks head and it works great for me. Oh I also dremmel some of the head/neck on those heads so it sits down a little further, but I have yet to need to mod the mattel body to get the head to fit.

I dont own the Kane figure but every R3 figure Ive seen/used for a Mattel custom, Ive never had to dremmel anything. Just heat the head in warm water, pop it off the r3 body and pop it on the Elite body.
