First thing that crossed my mind. Begging for likes and friends will be annoying spam too. I do like that when people argue with each other, we can now tell them to block each other. So true. Everything will be easier for us so people beware!  To be honest JS it sounds like you guys just lost your primary role on the forum. Other then reviewing the evidence board, posting every now and then, sticking certain threads and giving tags to people, maybe making a new board which is rare. What else is there to do? |

Will we have the ability to like/dislike specific posts in the thread? I noticed that a lot of discussion boards and comments sections are using this now. Only Like. If you don't like a post, just don't like it. Oh and bye bye Karma. great to hear! i'm all about these changes. |

Just had a look at an old fourm I use to go on that is now in v5, looks really nice, not much different from now just more modern looking and with a few more features in replies, like linking to other video sharing sites apart from YouTube, can't wait for WFigs to update!

That's a given but we cannot do this which is why I have this announcement and the top link to this announcement letting everyone know. Those members will just have to make a new account if they do not know their username and/or have a valid email address in their current account. |

Idk if this was already asked but is all the stuff in the 'user notes' section going to stay or will it be erased?
I have a lot of old signature/avatars there since it makes it easy to switch out and was wondering.

I'm sorry if answered but how long will the site be shut down for? Hey guys, The WF Forums will be upgrading early to Proboards v5. The upgrade will start at 11:30am Eastern Time and the forum will be down during the upgrade process. I am not sure how long the upgrade will take, and the forum will go into maintenance mode to complete customization. Hopefully it should be early to late afternoon.Also please remember that you will be logged out and need to completely log in again which means you will need to know your username, not your display name and you will need to know your password. Your username is in your profile and if you forgot your password you will need to change it in your profile. Make sure your email address is valid as well. We will not help you if you forgot this info so be sure to take care of this before Friday, otherwise you will have to make a new account and start over, we will not restore post counts or anything else. If you have any questions regarding the upgrade, please ask it in this thread. Thanks, JS |

You know, I wasn't really thinking this upgrade was going to be a big deal. Now that I think about it, though, it'll be pretty weird finally seeing this place change. Sure, we've had some minor upgrades through the years, but for the almost ten years I've been here, it's looked just about exactly the same. Should be cool to see.
