How did you manage to get the chief scout of one of the biggest teams in Italy, and Europe?

Great scalp for Sunderland if that's true. AVB is wanting a technical director at Spurs, Baldini's name has been banded about. Would definitely help to secure one or two more high profile signings.

Looks as if Monaco have agreed to sign Falcao, Honestly think he's wasting the rest of his career by joining Monaco.

If the Pepe and Di Maria for Tevez deal goes through, I'll be pissed.

Such a waste. Falcao is at that age in his career (27) where he really needs to make that 'big' move now. He needs to be at one of Europe's top clubs, in one of the top leagues; not at a side who've just been promoted in one of the worst leagues around.

Di Maria and Pepe would be a step up to having Lescott and Nasri... plus no point in keeping a striker who doesn't really want to be at the club. Would be a great deal for City.
As for Falcao I don't really it as a waste (maybe this season it will) but the fact is Monaco will be Champions or atleast qualify for the Champions League this season and from then on will continue to build themselves as a major force in European football. Ligue 1 may be a bit crap to watch but it's still one of the major leagues in Europe, atleast he hasn't buggered off to Qatar or somewhere like that where the competition is as fierce as Sunday league football.

Didn't Di Maria assist more than Xavi, Iniesta and Cese combined in the 11/12 season?

Yep.
Think it was Xavi, Iniesta and Messi though.

Liverpool getting a bargain for Mignolet...

Mehdi Abeid and Romain Amalfitano told they've got no future at Newcastle. Bit of a shame considering the few times I've seen Abeid play, he's actually been decent for a young lad. Also seems a bit daft that we're getting rid of players in an already thin squad before we've replaced.

They should've been given more time as they were barely used as it is. I enjoyed using Amalfitano on FIFA 13 so I'm disappointed to see him potentially go.

Liverpool getting a bargain for Mignolet... Only Buffon, Neuer, De Gea and Muslera have cost more I'm sure though? Can't help but notice it's the exact same fee Sunderland forked out for Gordon though Oh how times have changed

Higgy to Arsenal looks basically done, as does Thiago to MUFC. Tevez to Juve is done it seems.

Last I heard, Barca had offered Thiago a new contract? Absolutely hilarious that his buy out clause has been slashed by £60mil for not being played ahead of Cesc (who was dire) enough last season though. If they lose him because of that it's a major up by them. Also hear Johan Cruyff saying something about Barca should consider cashing in on Messi now they've signed Neymar

Can't help but notice it's the exact same fee Sunderland forked out for Gordon though Oh how times have changed Think it's a position that will see some expensive transfers over the next yew years, imo keepers are probably needed a heck of a lot more than they used to be too. The price being banded around for Begovic is more than what Mignolet actually went for and trying to take my rose tinted glasses away I'd still rate Mignolet over Begovic and probably main reason why I'm a bit pissed off with the fee. That saying he only had 2 years left on his deal and in hindsight I'm sure Liverpool could of waited a further year so I guess the club took the £9m fee. What a waste he was still, you could be watching him week in week out next season like I used to
