If Ed Woodward has refused to pay Herrera's buyout clause I will kill him myself. Gill was so good but Woodward is clearly a money man.

Real Madrid have pretty much sold Ozil for 50M Euro's and replaced him with Isco who cost 30M Euro's. Think Real have got the better deal here TBH.

Top signing by Arsenal, although they didn't really need another attacking midfielder.

Coentrao to United seems to have come out of nowhere.

Wanna hear more knee jerking from Utd fans now they've got Fellaini and Coentrao.
Lukaku will be signing of the season again. Everton really acting well now they've lost their best player. Wish the same could be said about a certain team in the North East...

So we've signed another huge striker in Libor Kozak. Didn't think IMO we needed this but Lambert seems to have a great eye for talent so I'm excited to see him.

Love that Herrera was being signed by imposters.
Love our dealings, will miss Anichebe and Fella but for the ins and outs I'm delighted with what we did. Lukaku should be a top signing and we massively needed midfield players, great window that!

Everton did well with Lukaku, signing of the day. Ozil is a great signing for Arsenal but they hardly needed him; their back 5 is too weak to come better than 4th.
If we'd just signed Fellaini in July that would've been fine, Woodward dicking around and making us look stupid is half the problem. Disappointed we didn't get Herrera though. Coentrao came out of nowhere and seems like a good signing.
Ultimately third is the minimum I expect this season and we have enough for that. Wish we hadn't mucked around though. I don't blame Moyes at all, its clearly Woodward's fault. He's a great financial man and was perfect for the commercial department, but he is a crap replacement for Gill as he is clearly reluctant to spend money. Hope he gets his act together or goes back where he belongs.

Was actually quite an exciting deadline day, for once. Ozil is a fantastic signing and now probably the best player at the club. Fellaini offers United something a bit different, but I'm not sure if he's good enough to really push them on. Everton did some terrific business; Lukaku, McCarthy (most overpriced player this transfer window) and Barry are all good signings, especially Lukaku. And we snuck in late on and signed Zverotic from BSC Young Boys. Never seen him play, but is appropriate midfield/right-back cover.

QPR (along with Everton) doing the best business of the day...despite being in a lower league. Assou-Ekotto and Kranjcar would walk into most Premier League sides, shame they don't feel any motivation for it. Victor Anichebe joined West Brom for £6m still they did some great business too. An Anelka/Vydra/Anichebe/Sessegnon and Shane Long too as their attackers are impressive. Not happy with our business. Sort of alright with Borini as I'm sure he'll just be backup to Altidore & Fletcher but ideally would of wanted a more experienced head. Going for Andrea Dossena though has annoyed me, the club have totally cheaped out on signing a player in a position we've been wanting to rectify all summer. And not even replacing Sessegnon with another central midfielder... we are going to struggle big time.

And it turns out we couldn't get the paperwork in in time for Coentrao. We weren't desperate for him but already another case of Woodward making us look like idiots

Overall pleased with Liverpool's business this summer, far better than last year anyway.
Simon Mignolet - Impressed me so far, 3 clean sheets and made a number of good saves which have arguably won us 4 points. Iago Aspas- Looked good in pre-season, not done much in the league but will provide more depth to the squad. Luis Alberto- Seen him a couple of times for Barcelona B last year. One for the future. Time will tell if it was a good move to replace him with Shelvey. Kolo Toure- Picking him up on a free looks a good move. Been solid so far. Aly Cissokho- Back up left back which is what we needed. Mamadou Sakho- Excellent signing IMO, top player. Tiago Ilori- Never seen him play so can't comment. Victor Moses- Not his biggest fan but his position was an area of the squad that needed strengthened.

Comfortably in my Top 3 'keepers in the league last season.

Lloris is the best goalkeeper in the Premier League in my completely unbiased opinion. Sees danger early, sweeps up well and makes some great saves. That tackle on Walcott he did on Sunday was mint.

De Gea Lloris and Cech top 3 keepers imo; Mignolet just behind. Cech is getting on though and dropping a bit.

Realy? Cech still seems in absolutely tip-top form to me. I'd say he's the best keeper in the league, followed by De Gea and Stekelenburg. Lloris and Begovic are quality, as well.

He makes a few mistakes though; I find he's great in the big games but prone to lapses of concentration in games where he doesn't have that much to do. Stekelenburg is good but I haven't seen enough of him to say he is at the top level.

Stekelenburg's played what, once in the PL after barely getting games for Roma? I'd definitely class Mignolet in the top bracket after being told to look out for him the past few seasons
