So, here's a little feel good story about something that happened recently. Me and my son (who is 3) went to Disneyland on Sunday and on the drive out there I saw a Mattel store and a few other outlet stores so I stopped on our way back to see what the fodder was like. I didn't find anything of note except a Round 5 Georges St. Pierre (which I bought for the UFC title which @ $4.99 I couldn't pass up as I wanted one for Brock for awhile now) However my son saw the Rumblers set with Alberto and Cena and he had to have it as we walked around I tried setting it down because I've seen it run as much as $30 at other places and I didn't think he even really wanted while he was in the bathroom I put it back. Well, when he got back he says "Daddy where's my wrestlers?" I said you don't want them do you? He says "oh yes dad I need them it's John Cena! And I want to have wrestlers like daddy" He ran back to the toys grabbed it and refused to put it down and even had to let him take it to his moms house. So after little hunting I picked these up to get him started with his collection:

Cool story. I have no kids yet, but I can only imagine the sense of pride and joy when your child wants to be like you and do something you do.

Nice. I got really excited recently when my nephews started getting into wrestling, I immediately gave them as many doubles as I can find. Even bought a signature series rock for one of em last night. Can't wait to give it to him.

Awesome story!
I tried giving my almost 3 year old nephew some rumblers but I don't think he likes them, lol.

Really great that he is already becoming a fan, rumblers are a great way for him to start. If I ever have kids I'm hoping they will decide to be fans too.

Maybe it's me but you let your 3 year old son go into a public bathroom by himself?! With all the deranged people that are out there now I would never allow that. Hell, even before the world changed back on Sep. 11 we never let our daughter out of our sight because of all the sickos that are out there trying to prey on kids.
But as for your son it is great to see he wants to be like daddy and collect. My daughter had to get all of the female characters with my Superhero collections and also wanted all the Divas with Jakks.

It's a great feeling! My oldest daughter who is 2 1/2 years old now, for some reason is in love with the Bigshow....She goes wild for him when he is on TV. As a matter of fact, wrestling is the only tv program she will actually sit still for and watch. I started her a rumbler collection as well, but she seems WAAAAAY more interested in the basics. So now, anytime dad gets a new wrestling figure, she gets one.
My other daughter is only a little over 1, but she doesn't seem to be too interested in wrestling. My oldest was already hooked by that time. lol

Very awesome. My first nephew's going to be here in a little over a month, and I can't wait to buy him his first figures in a few years.

Of course someone had to critique your parenting skills. Couldn't let that slide, huh PJ?
But sounds like an awesome day. I wanna go to Disney Land and buy figs after.

that's pretty cool. my step son will be 11 on thursday, and he is big into wrestling. he has a bunch of basics, some of my old BCA jakks, R3 jakks, WCW toybiz, and ECW OSFTM. as far as me, i got galoob sting's, OSFTM sting's, jakks sting's, 1 elite macho man, 1 basic macho man, plus 2 elite punks coming from a trade. so yeah, my step son's collection dwarfs mine, hahahaha.

With my back injury I can't bend and help him as well as I'd like.
