Apparently Joseph Gordon Levitt is in line to play Doctor Strange.

Doctor Strange is also rumoured to be introduced in a cameo appearance in Thor 2 as a colleague of Jane Foster.

I hope it's not JGL; while he is 31, which may or may not be considered too young by many; he looks about 12, and is all of 5 feet tall; so I don't want him anywhere near Strange.

Luke Evans; Oded Fehr, or Patrick Dempsey would be my picks for the Good Doctor.

Sections of a call sheet for Guardians of the Galaxy have been uploaded to yourprops.com and feature two very vague scenes. Taking place on the exterior of an Xandar Mall, the first bit involves, “Peter Quill leaving Bereet, then flirting with Ti Asha on his way to a Broker's Shop,” while the second follows, “Rocket Raccoon's vid shield Point-of-View of Peter Quill, Bereet and Ti Asha.”

Despite how vaguely the scenes are described, the call sheet does mention some things that likely have origins within the Marvel mythology: planet Xandar is home to the Nova Corps in the comics, Bereet is an alien techno-artist whom became close friends with the incredible Hulk, and Ti Asha Ra is the last female of the Korbinites which is a species that also belongs to the famous Beta Ray Bill.

Those possible Marvel nods are unlikely to be pivotal, but Peter Quill going to a Broker's Shop is intriguing as it implies that Star-Lord has something he wants to trade. This seems to coincide with the unconfirmed logline for Guardians of the Galaxy last year that said the film follows a “U.S. pilot who ends up in space in the middle of a universal conflict and goes on the run with futuristic ex-cons who have something everyone wants.” Fans speculate that that something is Infinity Gems. And background extras cast as Kyln Inmates & Guards support the "ex-cons" bit. What do you think?

I hope he is somehow referenced in TTDW possibly as well as GOTG too.


And just what is it Peter Quill has, the Infinity Gems or somehow the Cosmic Cube? So that's intriguing.


I thought Cap 2 had the potential to be the best solo film of Phase II, but I think it may end up tied with GOTG for blowing us away at this rate! Hell, we haven't even seen much of TTDW yet, this could be potentially 3 tremendous Marvel outings back to back one after another before getting to Avengers 2.

But man, GOTG is sounding as if it's going to be epic more & more. I'm absolutely hoping for it to get a 2nd & 3rd, nice little alternative franchise going to the Avengers & we still need one movie where the GOTG & Avengers team up on screen = MINDS BLOWN!!!!!

It's coming to light that Marvel & Aaron Eckhart are interested in working together.

Ha, I had him fan casted as either Hank Pym or Matt Murdock, he could play either the way he looks facially & I'm a fan of Eckhart's acting, so think he would do either justice. Although with Dexter coming to an end I still think Marvel should see if Michael C. Hall would be interested in taking the role of Matt Murdock / Daredevil, either on the big screen or introduce him on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D & then spin out into a Daredevil TV show.

But, I'm down for Eckhart & Marvel working together if it is for either of the Pym or Murdock roles!

Just crossing my mind though, Eckhart could also be a good shout for Adam Warlock or Sentry perhaps as well.

Another good shout for Eckhart..... Black Bolt!

After all, they're planning on doing The Inhumans at some point, Eckhart would look great in the Black Bolt Mask & Costume.
