The plan is to keep Loki in the Thor films and not keep appearing in the Avengers so they can use other villains.

Hiddleston says that he has 3 more Marvel movies in his contract, so I'm guessing after TDW, we'll next see him in A3.

Saw Wolverine late last night. I thought the movie was pretty good, but not perfect. It was however a far drastic improvement over Wolverine: Origins. Unlike Origins, the story was much more thought out and they didn't rape any characters of their characteristics to do so.
The mid credits scene is just excellent in every way. EVERY WAY! Youtube it!

I had goosebumps when watching the mid-credits scene in The Wolverine. Legit. As. Fk.

That's good to hear. It's a shame that the X-Men franchise is tarnished by Wolverine: Origins and the not as bad but still bad X-Men 3. If anything can undo those two movies, it's Days of the Future Past.

Joss Whedon confirms that Avengers: Age of Ultron starts shooting in London at the end of February/early March. I'm guessing they'll be using Pinewood Studios, although he did say the movie is a global event, so they maybe shooting on location, too. He says Black Widow and Hawkeye are both really important to the movie and both have expanded roles. He says he had the most fun writing for Hawkeye this time around. He also confirms that Tom Hiddleston won't be in the movie. yes more Hawkeye. I absolutely love Hawkeye and I adore Jeremy Renner.

Just got back from The Wolverine, it was awesome. The post credits scene was the best. I cannot wait for DotFP.

Saw Wolverine last night. It was a good movie but I feel like it suffered from a lack or major characters. I mean I've heard of Silver Samurai and had his action figure as a kid but that's about all I know about him. And I consider myself to be a bit more knowledgable about comics than the average movie goer. I'm sure he's a badass character but I feel like its kinda tough to really get into a movie with lesser supporting characters.
I had one other issue but I don't wanna spoil the movie for anyone. I did enjoy the movie though and the last scene was all kinds of epic.

at last a satisfactory solo outing for Logan.

I think it's safe to say that Marc Webb has done it again.

The Wolverine credits scene is easily the best in ANY superhero movie since Nick Fury saying "I. AM. IRONMAN."
Bring on 2014! Bring on X-Men: Days of Future Past!

the credits scene was great....however I rank Thors Hammer at the end of IM2 above it.That gave me chills.....it was like we finally knew everything was happening.
its interesting to note The Wolverine had the lowest opening weekend of the X-franchise to date.but it was still a respectable 53 million opener and theres helluav buzz about DOFP because of it.

I'm sure it had the lowest opening weekend because of the cast. The casual viewer only knows Wolverine from that movie. Silver Samurai should have been like a secondary villain. He's a cool character but he doesn't have enough of a fan base to carry a movie.

I'm sure a lot of people had a lot of reservations because the abomination Origins, and rightly so. Hopefully it will spread by word of mouth that it's actually good.

yes I would count Origins as a factor as well.the amount of people I know from work etc that had this completely written off because of the 1st movie.

Aside from Deadpool, I really liked Origins. I thought that was a great movie. A lot of fun.

AMS 2 looks awesome. I hope we finally get a proper Venom in this series Doubtful. Unless I'm mistaken, it's only supposed to be a trilogy which I'm sure is going to end with a final showdown with the Green Goblin. And if you want Venom to be done properly, it would have to be at least a 2 part saga. Putting him in the third movie would be just as rushed and mashed together like in SM 3.
