Loving everything in Marvel-world right now. But I'm skeptical about GOTG and Ant-Man. They seem to me to be too..."out there" for the masses to get into. Im not one bit worried about either.they made Thor work and at that time did an awesome job integrating him into the world that contained only IM and Hulk. Im 100% confident both will be fine.....GOTG will rock it til the wheels come off.

I will gladly watch the films, but, a raccoon and Batista don't really feel to me like they'll grab attention from the general public the same as everything else. But I REALLY hope I'm proved wrong. These Marvel movies own the box office, that's plain to see. I just hope they don't get too cocky and think they can throw anything and make it stick.

Whatever Marvel produces from here on out (as already proven) will be a success. We might not be looking at every movie making a billion dollars, but Phase 2 and 3 are being played out totally different to Phase 1. People are going to be dubious about movies that don't contain the 'main 4' so to speak, but for the franchise to exist, Marvel need to keep it fresh. I think they know what they're doing and I think future movies with characters not as known to the casual fan as they are to the more dedicated fan will soon become big talking points. They also have Agents of SHIELD to help further stories ect.

The big selling point of GOTG IS going to be Rocket! I have no doubts he is going to be the fan favourite of both the Adults & Kids alike & is gonna make kids starting to want a pet Raccoon all of a sudden, LOL. He's going to be the drawing character of the franchise followed by Star Lord. That Raccoon is gonna get pumped out in soft / cuddly / plush toys, collectibles & all other merchandise aspects you can think of, no doubt about it. Truth be told, to non comic book readers & a general audience, NONE of these characters should work or be believed in, whether it's from Marvel or D.C., but if you can get people believing in & enjoying the likes of Cap, Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, Batman, Superman, Spider-Man & the like, you can then manipulate them into believing in a Racoon or Ant-Man because then it just feels they tie with the rest of what has been presented over the years. I think it's easier now to get the general audience believing in far out there characters now than it was 20 - 30 years ago (With the exception of Star Wars). It's all about how you present the interpretation of your characters, don't insult the audiences intelligence & they'll follow right along for the ride. The only thing that bothers me is when studios, movie makers, directors or producers think certain aspects from source material may not be able to be understood for the general audience & that they're all stupid or something so change things to make it easier for them to follow, annoys me as a comic book reader & the fact that not all of the general audience are imbeciles yet studios seem to think so & that thy have to dumb things down for people.

so I gave IM3 the 2nd watch last Friday night before Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
I enjoyed it WAY more than I did the 1st time and I already liked it a lot.will never understand why Black didn't connect Killian to Stane/Kidnapping/Ten Rings etc in the 1st movie but its still great to me.

So the internet is gonna get very spoilery from the 24th as the embargo agreement that the press signed before their screening last week ends. I'm trying my best to avoid spoilers for this movie, I really want to be surprised.
I have read that it ends on what has been described as Marvel's biggest cliff hanger. One of the press, who isn't even a real Marvel fan even said it sets up for Thor 3 and even he thought to himself 'You've gotta be f*****g kiddin' me'.
So excited.

From what I've discovered tonight it looks like we'll be seeing Captain Rogers waaaay before TWS...if you get my hint Also, in other news, Chris Hemsworth says his contract still has 2 more Avengers movies and a solo movie. I'm guessing this will be similar for Evans as well.

He'll probably be in the secret ending after the credits.

So some reviews are starting to pour in and everything is seemingly positive.
There are a couple of condescending reviews from some of the higher ups over the movie world, but for the better part the movie is getting 7 and 8's out of 10 and tracking to open at $75 million next week.

It's at the end of his review. What's even more exciting is that the infinity gems come into play. Apparently the Asgardian's know that Thanos is after them so they decide to split them up. There's also apparently a brief mention/appearance of the Tesseract, which would stay true to Feige's words earlier on this week that some of Phase 1 will come into play during Phase 2. I'm so excited.
