What do you guys think will be this years "Big" summer storyline? I could honestly see it being Shield taking over WWE more or less. Then they have the last big clash against Undertaker, Someone and CM Punk at Summerslam. I've been thinking something like this would happen since Feb. And honestly its the only thing going right now.

Not sure, Cm Punk was the Main Focus for Summer 2011&2012. It will probably be like Ryback&Someone.

I'm guessing it will be "who can stop Ryback" after he wins the WWE title... Not the most intriguing, but would be interesting to see some NEW face challengers for the belt.

I highly doubt The Shield will be involved *the big storyline in the Summer. Not when Cena, Punk etc are around.

Botch cara wins the WHC MITB and cashes in on Ryback for the WWE title after he is beat down Fandango and feuds with Ryback, but botches the cash in as he went for the wrong title and screws up creatives plans and is given the MITB briefcase back and then has the WWE title vacant, where botch cara injures his knee...never to be seen for 3 months and he botches again as he leaves the briefcase at home when he was ment to cash in on the night, so he is given the rumbler play set one which is painted blue.
Better than what creative can come up with.
In all seriousness, John Cena vs Cm Punk vs Ryback is the most predictable.

Last summer was kinda weak compared to Nexus and Summer of Punk.
We shall see.

Last summer was awesome with Punks here run. Not sure how they will try and top it. I will say Summerslam has been the best overall PPV for a good while now so I'm excited to see.

If you guys were smart, you'd answer right.
The big story line of the summer will be Cena being champion for no reason, coming out, doing a supid promo, haveing a less than average match and haveing a bunch of make a wish vignettes.
Obviously... It's WWE...
Now if you want an action packed, compelling storylines, with great matches, go watch TNA.

Would be pretty badass if WWE had Ryback vs Lesnar for the title. Wouldn't mind seeing Lesnar with the strap one more time.

We didn't see any major story line last year. So I doubt we will get one this year. Though, Rybackin the title picture and all this focus on The Shield is good enough for me.

If they do anything this year, I hope it's with the Shield who are pretty much the only thing that has my full attention right now. There's also a TON of things they could do with the guys who are essentially the hired guns of the WWE.

I thought that last year was kind of a "Summer of Punk II", with him turning heel at RAW 1000, turning on the WWE Universe... Nothing as groundbreaking as Summer of Punk I and the Nexus, though.
Rumours say Punk's returning in the summer this year... Ryback v. Punk v. Cena?

How about,
Triple H becomes a type of new heel boss, and starts screwing guys like Punk and Cena in matches. He takes the place of old heel Vince, and has some type of stable full of new guys, maybe he could hire the Shield. Punk could also bring in some guys from NXT or somewhere, leading to a multi man tag match at Survivor Series. The match would have a Screwjob ending, with a face joining Triple H's Corporation, not making any of the new faces look weak because of the big loss.
That's all I got.

Maybe the Shield will take over and begin chasing the World Titles and 3 big superstars will have to come together to defeat them at Summerslam...maybe Taker, HHH, and Cena.

As if he's going to come in & win it in under 3 months, no one would buy & Vince certainly isn't going to take that kind of risk with an "internet darling", he's going to have to prove himself for many months, most likely years before he ever gets near the world title picture. |
