Cool...
I'm reading Eric Bischoff's book right now - "Controversy Creates Cash."
Interesting so far, I'm taking his words with a grain of salt...

I've read both of Jericho's books, the other is "around the world in spandex" or something, and they are both fantastic. Prob the best wrestling books I've ever read.
Foley's Have a Nice Day was the first one I ever read back when it first came out. Excellent as well. Hitman's and Jimmy Korderas' are next on my list.
Rock and Angle's were decent. I really enjoyed Flair's.
Stone Cold's was pretty bad imo. It felt rushed and lacked substance. It was very "I did this, then this happened, and than I said this". It was cool to hear about the night before WM19 from his pov though.
I don't know if I could read Bischoff's book. Not sure I could believe anything that scumbag says.

Yea, as I said, I'm keeping an open mind while reading it... and some of it is defintely revisionist history - although he openly admits that he's biased about certain things. But it is interesting to read some of the stories - like when WCW went to Korea in 1995, when Americans weren't really even allowed to go to Korea (maybe we're still not?)... Hulk Hogan refused to go... Ric Flair didn't like the idea, but went anyway... I'm finding stuff like that pretty interesting... didn't really care about his childhood and stuff, though.

3 really good books, although Jericho's first is probably better than the sequel IMO. Foleys is awesome, and Brets is fantastic even if it does get a little "Ain't I great?" at times. Flairs, Foleys second and third, Batistas, Edges, Bischoffs, and Michaels' are all good too.

Foley's Hardcore Diary was a fun read. It wad a very innivative behind the scene read leading up to Foley at a PPv.
Jericho's books are by far my favorite. He has the ability to make you laugh, yet stay hooked on his stories!
Hulk Hogan's books were fun for me aswell. Growing up ad a Hulkster, you can't go wrong with a book from him.
Angle's was informal, not too much comedy. My Mom is from the same city as him, and they went to the same high school.
Jerry Lawlers book had some classy comedy, but seeing how I didn't see him wrestle outside of WWf/E, it was hard to follow.
WWE Road Stories is probably my favorite collaboration done by WWE. Hearing fight stories about Henry, and all nighters with the Brisco's. it a easy read, and timeless stories straight from the wrestlers personal encounters.

I'm currently reading Eddie Guerrero's. I own The Rock's, both of Foley's and I have read Jericho's 1st book. All awesome reads.

Thanks for all of the reply's and recommendations, keep them coming!
Looks like I'll be entertained when I get them in the mail. I'm sort of interested in reading Bischoff's Controversy Creates Cash as well.

I'm sort of interested in reading Bischoff's Controversy Creates Cash as well. Yea, it's interesting... he admits that he knew they shouldn't have been doing certain things, but he allowed them because they were profitable (Mean Gene's 1-900 Dirt Sheet Hotline).... Interesting to hear some of the stories from his perspective. We tend to forget that he's human, and he was trying to do a good job for the Turner company, as well as win the Monday Night War. I always admired his "grapefruits" to go head-to-head with WWE like that... I picked up the book for less than five bucks at 2nd & Charles Bookstore, so I won't feel too ripped off if I'm disappointed...

Everytime this thread comes up I say the same thing, Chris Jericho's books are by far the best. Hilarious and extremely interesting at the same time.

I just finished Jimmy Korderas book The Three Count. Great chapters on Owen, Eddie, the 05 Rumble finish and lots of other good stories.

I know the IWC love for Jericho can be suffocating at times, but he really is a great writer. If you're going for his second before his first you're missing out on some in jokes and imo a slightly better book in his first, simply because it covers a longer time and more crazy stories.
I've read Foley's first 3 books and they were all great, just below Y2J imi. I haven't read Bret's but I've heard that he's up there with those 2 aswell.
As for ghost written books, Controversy Creates Cash by Bischoff is a really good one, just because its different, and its a good insight into WCW imo even if it leaves things out.

Is the book about Owen Hart good that his wife wrote? According to Bret it's mostly bull, so if want to believe Bret, there's your answer.
