not one of foley’s most remembered, but I think it’s a great one, if only for how he accomplishes cynicism and resentment and anger while still remaining who cactus was. Underrated turn. You can tell Foley put everything into it and it showed in spades. Good stuff

I re-watched the Hogan/Rock match from Wrestlemania 18, so I had to watch the interview with Rock & Coach before it. What up G!

I watched the Randy Orton/Evolution promo before the 3 on 2 match at Wrestlemania 20. That one sticks out in my mind when it comes to Randy, he absolutely killed it in that one. I also watched the Rock and Foley one (I watched the match obviously) and it was classic Rock. Loved the cameo of Hurricane and Rosey and Don Muraco and Superfly.

Shawn Michael's before his Mind Games match with Mankind. Loved the build up how Shawn is having this new "attitude". They were really putting him over using Foleys body haha.

Just watched a Maxx Payne/Cactus Jack match. They were feuding with Shanghai Pierce and Tex Slazenger who did a little promo PIP. The promo was essentially a word for word the plan Taggart gives Lamarr from Blazing Saddles. At 10 I didn't get the reference, but today I found it hilarious.

"Yay he said Toronto.. that's where we live..ahh shut up". One of my favourite heel Rock moments from his Hollywood return.

Abdullah the Butcher popped into my mind this weekend. I went to YT and found matches where he fought Kevin Von Erich, Andre the Giant, and a chaotic brawl with Terry Funk. Good times.

What was the point of this? Why were they trying to expose the business? Was it just because they were going out of business and wanted to ruin the territory for the next promoter? How did some of these guys get booked again? Was the video widely known at the time?

What was the point of this? Why were they trying to expose the business? Was it just because they were going out of business and wanted to ruin the territory for the next promoter? How did some of these guys get booked again? Was the video widely known at the time? From what I've heard, all these dudes worked for Ron Fuller. They had issues with him creatively and even thought he was stealing money from them. They ended up leaving the promotion to start their own rival promotion, which started a war for the Knoxville territory. They called it "Plan B" because if plan A of winning the territory didn't work, then plan B would be to just try and ruin everything for everyone by exposing the business. Nobody ever really saw the tape, unless they did and just kept it a secret...but apparently it started making the rounds about 20 years ago. Wrestling would probably be a hell of a lot different if the video got out.
