WWF IN YOUR HOUSE: GOLD RUSH - April 28. 1996 - Omaha, NE
Free For All Match: The British Bulldog D. Bradshaw, and also featured clips of the WWF Championship bout between Shawn Michaels and Diesel. Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler are your hosts for the show.
Match 1: WWF Tag Team Championship Match Bam Bam Bigelow & Skip w/Sunny vs The Steiner Brothers A surprising way to kick off Gold Rush with the WWF Tag Team Titles as Bam Bam Bigelow & Skip are the challengers for The Steiner Brothers's WWF Tag Team Titles, they won a Tag Team Battle Royal Match and earlier today they announced they would dedicate the match to Brian Pillman who recently got injured in a car accident. Bigelow and Rick start off the match with Rick gaining the advantage. Rick kicks Bigelow in the gut and attempts a bodyslam but Bigelow with his weight around throws him down to the buckle. Bigelow whips Rick into the buckle but Rick charges at Bam Bam taking him down with a big clothesline. Rick whips Bam Bam off the ropes and goes for a hurracarana but Bigelow tries to counter it into a powerbomb however Rick fights out of it and nails a perfectly executed hurracarana and takes down Bigelow with a dropkick. Rick then makes the tag to Scott and they take down Bigelow with a double clothesline sending him over the top rope to the floor, Skip gets in and tries a diving move off the top rope but Rick catches him and hits a fall away slam taking him down. Scott gets in the ring with Bigelow tossing him back in the ring. Scott whips Bigelow into the ropes but Bigelow reverses it taking Scott down with a powerslam. Bigelow makes the tag to Skip, Bigelow and Skip do a good job of wearing down Scott for the remainder of five minutes until Scott hits both Bigelow and Skip with a double clothesline, Scott then makes the tag to Rick who comes in on a house of fire. Rick whips Bigelow into the ropes but Bigelow reverses it and Rick hits a diving shoulder block taking down Bigelow and nails Skip with a high back body drop who comes charging at him, Rick then tries to go for a diving clothesline off the top but Sunny distracts him enough for Bigelow and Skip to double hip-toss him to the mat. Bigelow and Skip whip Rick into the ropes going for a back body drop but Rick kicks Skip and Scott enters the ring and both Rick and Scott hit double belly to belly suplexes on Bigelow and Skip. Rick and Scott both toss Bigelow out of the ring with a double clothesline. Scott tries to get on the outside with a double axe handle on Bigelow but Bigelow bearhugs him into the ringpost. Rick continues to fight with Skip and Bigelow gets on the apron. Rick whips Skip into the ropes but Bigelow makes a blind tag and Rick sets up Skip for an electric chair drop hold, And it looks like they're going for the bulldog/clothesline combination but Bam Bam gets in and nails Rick with a somersault cross body taking Rick down. Scott re-enters the ring and Skip gives him a shot on the apron and Skip and Scott are both on the outside fighting, but meanwhile Bigelow is on the top rope, he's going to hit the Diving Headbutt on Rick and he connects with it. Bigelow covers Rick to get the win and become the WWF Tag Team Champions alongside his partner Skip. Bigelow and Skip have won the WWF Tag Team Titles and look at this, here comes Brian Pillman with crutches as he gets in the ring and the fans are chanting for Bam Bam Bigelow and Skip, what a moment this team has had, just two weeks after Brian Pillman's car accident, but Brian Pillman's group Bigelow and Skip have now become the WWF Tag Team Champions. Winners and New WWF Tag Team Champions: Bam Bam Bigelow & Skip
A promo is shown for Mankind in his destruction in the World Wrestling Federation, first dominating Duke Droese in his first WWF Match and taking out The Undertaker as well, followed by attacking Bob Holly & The Conquistadores until Jake Roberts came in to confront Mankind and challenging him to a match at Gold Rush.
Before Mankind's match against Jake Roberts. Mankind is in the boiler room saying that he's destroyed The Undertaker, he's finally killed the Deadman once and for all, Mankind then says that he is now the New Phenom of the World Wrestling Federation, but he's also heard a rumour that tomorrow night that The Undertaker is scheduled to be here, Mankind also says that he wants to meet The Undertaker face to face tomorrow night, because Undertaker may have destroyed everyone in the World Wrestling Federation, but he will never destroy everyone close as Mankind and as far as Jake Roberts goes, Mankind says that if Roberts really thinks that Mankind is delusional then to quote a song you got another thing coming because what Mankind is going to do to Jake Roberts is nothing compared to what he did to The Undertaker and what he will do to the entire World Wrestling Federation until he gets what he wants. And then he will have a nice day.
Match 2: Mankind vs Jake Roberts This is Mankind's first PPV Match in the World Wrestling Federation and he's taking on a veteran in Jake Roberts who has been in the WWF for 10 years, Roberts throws his snake bag in the ring and Mankind begins to charge at Roberts by hitting him with fists and the bell rings. Mankind takes Roberts into the buckle and hits him with right hands but Roberts reverses it and hits some right hands of his own and nails Mankind with another right hand knocking him down. Roberts then grabs Mankind and sets him up for the DDT but Mankind rolls out of the way and wait a minute. Roberts begins to grab his snake bag and look at the size of the Snake, Mankind then begins to flinch, it seems like Mankind is afraid of snakes. The ref encourages Jake to put the snake down and he does. Mankind gets back in the ring and Roberts begins to continue the onslaught but as he whips Mankind into the ropes. Mankind surprises the Snake Man by hitting the neckbreaker. Mankind goes for the cover but Roberts is able to kick out. Mankind then continues to gain the momentum in this contest. Roberts tries to fight back but Mankind takes him down with a clothesline. Mankind goes for the cover but The Snake is able to kick out. Mankind then continues to keep the momentum going but Roberts is able to make a comeback in this match and takes down Mankind with a short-arm clothesline. Roberts sets up for the DDT on Mankind but Mankind shoves him down and comes back with a piledriver taking down Roberts. Mankind goes for the cover but Roberts is able to kick out. Mankind grabs Roberts again and sets him up for the Double Arm DDT and takes Roberts down with the Double Arm DDT. Mankind goes for another cover but Roberts is kicking out. Lawler is questioning Roberts's stupidity to stay alive. Mankind continues to put some stomps in on Roberts and then sets Roberts up for the Mandible Claw in which he does. Mankind then locks in on the claw and Roberts tries to fight out of it, but instead he begins to pass out and the referee has no choice but to award Mankind the victor. Winner: Mankind
What a dominant fashion Mankind has put on The Snake. Mankind then begins to look at the Snake Bag and look at this he begins to open up the snake bag and he just took the Snake out, We thought Mankind was afraid of snakes, What's he going to do with that Snake?. Mankind begins to try to wrap it around Roberts's throat, but all of a sudden, the lights begin to flicker as The Undertaker's bell begins to toll in the arena, it's as if The Undertaker's presence is stopping Mankind from putting the snake on Roberts, then suddenly on the entryway a wreath is placed in the entryway. Mankind sees the person that just handed the wreath and it turns out that it was a druid that placed the wreath on the aisleway. Mankind comes charging at the Druid and begins to beat him down. Mankind then tosses The Druid back in the ring and begins his physical assault on The Druid. Mankind picks up the Druid and piledrives him down to the mat, it seems like Undertaker's mind games are having no effect at all on Mankind. Mankind then grabs The Druid and tries to go for the Mandible Claw, but the lights go out again and the lightning bolt strikes the ring. And look at this, As we just said The Undertaker's mind games had no effect on Mankind. It just did as Mankind begins to run out of the ring. But The Undertaker is going to be on Monday Night RAW and what will happen when he confronts Mankind?
Another PPV Advertisement is shown as it's called Beware of Dog that will be on the PPV on May 26, 1996.
Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler take us backstage with Diesel arriving to the arena, obviously a lot of intensity between Diesel and Shawn Michaels for their World Wrestling Federation Championship Match later on tonight.
Match 3: Marc Mero w/Sable vs Hunter Hearst Helmsley Marc Mero has only made his debut just four weeks ago and this is his first PPV Match as he goes head to head with the 1995 King of The Ring winner Hunter Hearst Helmsley. Mero starts the match off with a collar-elbow tie up and a hip toss on Helmsley. Mero then nails Helmsley with a dropkick and Helmsley gets out of the ring to take a little breather, but not before he grabs Sable but Helmsley lets Sable go because Mero just hit a somersault dive on the 1995 King of The Ring winner Helmsley on the top rope. Mero is on a roll here tonight. Helmsley somehow is able to make a comeback going for the legs of Mero to wear him down. Helmsley whips Mero into the ropes and hits a high knee on Mero. Helmsley goes for the cover but Mero kicks out. Helmsley then dominates this contest until Mero makes a comeback as Mero fights out of the Sleeper Hold. Mero tries to go for a flying forearm but Helmsley reverses it into a spinebuster taking Mero down. Helmsley goes for another cover but Mero is able to kick out. Mero then makes his comeback and finally hits Helmsley with a diving forearm taking him down. Mero also hits a running neckbreaker on Helmsley but Helmsley somehow kicks out. Mero whips Helmsley into the buckle and hits a 10-punch count and Helmsley gets out only for Mero to knock him down with a dropkick. Mero goes for the cover but Helmsley suddenly kicks out. Mero then whips Helmsley into the ropes and goes for a back body drop but Helmsley is able to nail the facebuster on Marc Mero. Helmsley kicks Mero in the gut and sets up for the pedigree but Mero backdrops Helmsley over the top rope to the floor. Mero then flies off and hits an outstanding moonsault on Helmsley, what a moonsault by the Marvelous One. Mero tosses Helmsley back in the ring and Mero goes to the top rope and goes for a standing elbow on Helmsley but Helmsley rolls out of the way on that one and Helmsley grabs Mero and sets up for the pedigree on Mero and hits it. Helmsley nails the pedigree on Mero, Helmsley goes for the cover but wait a minute Sable just dragged Marc Mero's foot behind the referee's back. The referee sees it and orders Helmsley to stop the pinfall. Helmsley then begins to yell at the referee and it looks like Sable's trick worked. Helmsley then grabs Mero and sets him up for another pedigree but Mero reverses it into a catapult and Helmsley goes flying into the buckle. Mero grabs Helmsley and hits a back suplex and look at this Mero is going to the top rope, can he hit the Wild Thing? and Mero connects with the Wild Thing on Helmsley. Mero got all of it, Mero goes for the cover. 1. 2. 3. Mero has won against The 1995 King of The Ring Winner!. That's a huge victory, that victory is huge for Marc Mero, Lawler calls that cheating as Sable and Marc Mero begin to celebrate their victory. Winner: Marc Mero

But the thing is when Austin defeated a former WWF Champion, he beat The Bad Guy but Austin didn't need no help, He brought in his boy Ted Dibiase to help beat him, so now Austin will have to pay for what he did, and the best thing Austin can do is not have The Entire Million Dollar Corporation at ringside, they can settle this one on one, motto and motto, Razor then says that after he beats Austin, he says that he's been friends with Diesel and Shawn Michaels for so long, but whatever happens, he wants to be the one to challenge for that WWF Title, because this may be his last time in the World Wrestling Federation, and he wants to have one more shot at the World Wrestling Federation Championship.

Razor and Austin begin to exchange blows after Razor's entrance. Razor gets the momentum and tosses The Rattlesnake right over the top rope to the floor. Austin gets up and Razor tells Austin to come and get him some. Austin gets back in the ring and he begins to beat on Razor with stomps, punches and kicks and rams him into the ringpost. Austin tries to put him into the ringpost several times but Razor reverses it and takes Austin into the ringpost. Razor then hits Kama with a right hand and sends Kama over the top rope with a clothesline. Crush charges at Razor again but Razor kicks him in the gut and heads to the top rope hitting a bulldog taking down Crush. Razor is fighting off intereference from the Million Dollar Corporation. Austin begins to get up and he nails Razor with the stunner. Austin then tells the referee to get up and Austin goes for the cover but as the ref begins to count 3. Razor kicks out at 2. Goldust, a staredown begins between these two and it starts with Goldust blowing a kiss to Ahmed and that pisses off Ahmed that he starts the match off by throwing a right hand at Goldust taking him down to the mat. Ahmed begins to fire off on Goldust with shot after shot. Ahmed grabs Goldust by both hands into the barricade and tosses him square into the mat. Goldust begins to get out of the ring so he doesn't want no part of Ahmed. Ahmed begins to get out of the ring and chase Goldust all around the ring. Goldust begins to get in the ring and as Ahmed gets in. Goldust begins to come right after him. Goldust whips Ahmed into the ropes but Ahmed reverses it and nails a high back body drop on Goldust. Ahmed continues the momentum but as Ahmed tries to whip Goldust into the steel steps. Goldust is somehow able to reverse it and throw Ahmed into the steel steps and now all of a sudden the referee begins to distract Marlena and it allows Goldust to grab a folding chair and strike Ahmed in the back with it. Goldust then regains the momentum and even goes for the legs of Ahmed, but wait a second outside of the ring is Ron Simmons. Ron Simmons is once again possibly here to scout Ahmed Johnson or Goldust, we haven't seen Ron Simmons wrestle in the WWF. But he possibly might wrestle here soon. Goldust continues the momentum going but Ahmed fights back but however Goldust surprises Ahmed with a piledriver as Ahmed puts his head down. Goldust goes for the cover but Ahmed kicks out. Goldust then grabs Ahmed and sets up for another piledriver but Ahmed gives him a catapult and runs off the ropes hitting a flying shoulder tackle taking Goldust down. Ahmed whips Goldust into the ropes and hits a powerslam on Goldust. Ahmed is all fired up here, Ahmed sets up for the Pearl River Plunge but Goldust gives him a shot right to the thigh and that allows Goldust to run off the ropes and surprise Ahmed with a bulldog. Goldust goes for the cover but Ahmed is able to kick out. Goldust is trying to win back his Second Intercontinental Title, but Goldust then heads to the top rope and goes for an Elbow Drop and connects with it. Goldust goes for the cover but Ahmed is still able to kick out. Goldust is very frustrated, but everything he does cannot take Ahmed down. Goldust then begins to stand over Ahmed and what is he doing right now?. Goldust what, is he planting a kiss on Ahmed?. He is kissing Ahmed, that's very disgusting. A disgusting move, can you believe that. But wait a minute Ahmed is back up to his feet and Goldust begins to freak out a bit. Goldust tries to beg off but Ahmed's had enough so Goldust tries a right hand but Ahmed blocks it and throws a few right hands of his own. Ahmed whips Goldust into the ropes and goes for a back body drop but Goldust catches him in the throat with a fist but look that didn't even faze Ahmed, Ahmed kicks Goldust in the gut and sends him into the ropes nailing a huge spinebuster. Ahmed then signals for the Pearl-River Plunge. Ahmed grabs Goldust and he hits the Pearl-River Plunge, but Ahmed is not going for the cover, he's probably not satisfied. Ahmed then picks up Goldust and hits another Pearl-River Plunge. Ahmed covers Goldust to get the win and retain the WWF Intercontinental Title. What a win for this newcomer!. Winner and Still WWF Intercontinental Champion: Ahmed Johnson
After the Contest. Vince McMahon gets in the ring to talk to Ahmed Johnson about his successful title defense against Goldust but as Ahmed goes to speak. Ron Simmons enters the ring and begins to snatch the mic from Vince. Simmons politely asks for Vince to leave the ring because this is a conversation between African Americans, Simmons then shakes Ahmed's hand and begins to raise his hand in the air, but then begins to speak. Simmons tells Ahmed that he's proud of all the success he's had in the World Wrestling Federation, but Ahmed needs to understand something. It should've been Ron Simmons going to the WWF first not Ahmed Johnson. Simmons then tells Ahmed that he means no disrespect, He doesn't want to disrespect the way Ahmed's been doing in the World Wrestling Federation, because Simmons likes the fact that he is the Intercontinental Champion, as for Simmons, in the past year was contemplating of coming to the WWF and his time has now finally come, Because now. Ron Simmons is here in the WWF, And he says that with respect, he is going to kick butt in the World Wrestling Federation and he knows Ahmed Johnson is going to be the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time and that's all he has to say. Simmons begins to raise Ahmed's hand one more time and Simmons lets Ahmed do his thing, but as Ahmed begins to leave the ring. Simmons turns his back and hits a running clubbing blow to Ahmed. What is Simmons doing?. Simmons is attacking Ahmed Johnson what was that all about?. Simmons begins to lay the boots to Ahmed as he just destroys him, Simmons begins to punch away on Ahmed and look at this Ahmed is busted open. Simmons has totally snapped. Simmons then takes off his shirt to continue to beat on Ahmed more. Referees get in the ring to try to stop Simmons but Simmons shoves each and every one of them off. Ahmed gets back up but Simmons has Ahmed's Intercontinental Title belt and Simmons whacks him across the face with it. Simmons then picks up Ahmed one more time and Simmons hits a modified powerbomb flapjack on Johnson taking him down. Why is Simmons doing this?. Simmons then beats up on two referees and gives one referee a spinebuster as well. And that might cost him if Simmons is not employed in the World Wrestling Federation. Then Roddy Piper comes out to try to talk to Simmons. Piper then gets in Simmons's face confronting him telling him that he shouldn't be allowed to touch anyone because he's not in contract with the WWF. Simmons then begins to shove Piper down to the mat and picks up the microphone and says that incase Piper hadn't figured it out, he is in the World Wrestling Federation and he's going to do whatever he wants and that is first take the WWF Intercontinental Title away from Ahmed Johnson. Simmons gets out of the ring and officials and refs begin to check on the Intercontinental Champion. Simmons then screams on the entryway saying it's his house now and he does whatever he wants.
Backstage. Shawn Michaels is in his locker room warming up for his WWF Championship Match against Diesel. McMahon states that this is HBK's first WWF Title Defense but will he successfully retain the WWF Title against Diesel tonight?
Match 6: Brian Christopher vs Terry Funk This is somewhat of an okay match despite all the five matches that have been good. The Match starts off with Funk gaining the advantage over Christopher. Lawler begins to encourage his son on. Christopher fights back however and hits Funk with a straight dropkick but only gets 2. Funk battles back in this match and makes a comeback against Christopher and almost gets the win with the moonsault but wait a minute The referee is distracted by The King and that allows Christopher to get up and hit Funk with a powerbomb off the top rope and then Christopher goes to the top rope and nails a diving leg drop off the top rope to get the win and his first WWF Victory over Terry Funk, what a win for Brian Christopher. Lawler predicts that all these fans are looking at a future World Wrestling Federation Champion someday, and that is his son Brian Christopher. Winner: Brian Christopher
A clip is shown of The Ultimate Warrior vs Vader, clips are shown first of Ultimate Warrior making his debut in the WWF in 1987, and it shows clips of him facing the likes of Hercules, Bobby Heenan, and leading up to his WWF Intercontinental Title reign at Summerslam 1988 over The Honky Tonk Man, and his second Intercontinental Title Reign against Rick Rude, and the face-to-face confrontation with Hulk Hogan at the 1990 Royal Rumble and also winning the WWF Title over him at WrestleMania 6 and also feuding with Randy Savage at WrestleMania 7 and making him retire, then clips are shown of him facing Undertaker in series of matches, followed by his return at WrestleMania 8 and his last return in February when he defeated Jake "The Snake" at WrestleMania 12, and then it transitions to a clip of Vader making his debut at WWF Summerslam 1995 and quickly going on to win the WWF Championship at Survivor Series until losing it to Bret Hart at the Royal Rumble. But tonight, this is going to be the toughest test for Vader as he's already lost one match and it was at WrestleMania 12 against The Undertaker. But can Vader's losing streak continue or will he get back on the mend.
Backstage. Dok Hendrix interviews Vader and Jim Cornette about Vader's match with The Ultimate Warrior and then announces that at the next PPV, It is official, at Beware of Dog, it will be Vader taking on The Undertaker in a WrestleMania 12 re-match, but this time it will be No Disqualifactions and No Countouts. Cornette then begins to thank Roddy Piper for this match, because ever since WrestleMania. Vader's been waiting to get redemption over The Undertaker, Cornette also says that besides Vader and Cornette do not know what kind of shape The Undertaker is in after the beating Mankind put him through, and speaking of beatings, Vader and Cornette will not know what kind of shape The Ultimate Warrior will be tonight because for the last 9 years. The Warrior has been dominating the World Wrestling Federation and sure he may have faced giants like Andre The Giant and Hulk Hogan, but never has he taken on this huge giant, the man that became WWF Champion at Survivor Series, the man that dominated Razor Ramon, and the man that took The Undertaker to the limit at WrestleMania, and that will be the same man that will take the Ultimate Warrior to the limit tonight so Warrior better be ready to experience some Vader Time. Vader then takes the mic and says that when he's through with The Ultimate Warrior. Then it's on to The Undertaker and Vader will finally bury The Man From The Darkside once and for all.
Match 7: Vader w/Jim Cornette vs Ultimate Warrior What a contest this is going to be as Vader of 400 pounds takes on the 290-pounder Ultimate Warrior. Warrior and Vader go face to face and begin to lock up with Vader overpowering The Warrior throwing him down to the mat. Warrior gets right back to his feet and Warrior locks up with Vader and look at this. Warrior threw Vader back down to the mat but look at this Vader got on his feet and didn't feel nothing. Vader begins to charge at Warrior but look at this Warrior fires off some right hands on Vader and Warrior runs off the ropes and drops Vader down with a running clothesline. Warrior picks up Vader and rams him into the buckle many times. Warrior then picks him up and tosses him over the top rope with ease. The Warrior just tossed Vader over the top rope, no one has ever tossed Vader over the top with that much intensity like The Ultimate Warrior. Warrior continues to gain the momentum on Vader but Vader gets the momentum back and nails a powerslam taking The Ultimate Warrior down to the mat. Vader gains the momentum against Warrior and continues to dicept him. Lawler says that tonight could be the end of The Ultimate Warrior once and for all but don't count him out just yet. Warrior begins to fight back and tries to go for a bodyslam but Vader falls untop of The Warrior but Warrior is able to kick out at 2. Vader continues to pummel down at the Warrior. Vader whips Warrior into the ropes but Warrior reverses and goes for a back body drop but Vader kicks him in the face and nails a clothesline taking The Warrior down. Vader continues to dominate the match but Warrior makes a comeback in this match and nails a few right hands and rams him straight into the buckle. Warrior heads to the top rope and hits a diving shoulder block taking the Big Guy down. Warrior runs off the ropes and nails Vader with two clotheslines. Warrior runs off the ropes and nails a diving shoulder block taking Vader down to the mat. Warrior begins to point to the heavens and sets up for the Military Press Slam, but wait a minute. Warrior picks up Vader and oh my goodness, WARRIOR JUST BODYSLAMMED VADER TO THE MAT!. WARRIOR JUST BODYSLAMMED VADER TO THE MAT!. WHAT A BODYSLAM BY THE WARRIOR!. Warrior has now got this crowd going. Warrior then begins to point to the heavens and is he setting up for the press slam. But wait a minute there's Jim Cornette, he's got the referee distracted and that allows Owen Hart and British Bulldog to come to the ring to attack The Warrior. Owen and Bulldog begin to beat on Warrior but Warrior misses a double clothesline and knocks them both down with a double clothesline of his own. Warrior tosses Bulldog over the top rope to the floor, and then he grabs Owen and press slams him over the top rope onto The Bulldog. The Warrior is cleaning house but wait a minute Vader's back up and Vader gives Warrior a shot to the back and sets up for a powerbomb but Warrior backdrops him to the canvas. Warrior then runs off the ropes and closes in on the splash but Vader rolls out of the way all of the sudden. Vader kicks Warrior in the gut and nails him with the powerbomb. Vader then drags the lifeless body of the Ultimate Warrior and he sets him up for the Vaderbomb. Vader heads to the top rope and bam Vader connects with it. 1. 2. 3. And Vader has beaten another former WWF Champion. Vader has defeated The Ultimate Warrior but not without help!. Vader then screams at the camera saying that this is a message to The Undertaker, of course Vader will take on The Undertaker at Beware of Dog in a No Holds Barred Match. Winner: Vader
A clip is shown of Diesel vs Shawn Michaels, it starts out with Shawn Michaels introducing Diesel to the WWF in January of 1993, and them winning the WWF Tag Team Belts at the 1994 Royal Rumble, followed by Diesel's turn on Shawn Michaels at the 1994 King of The Ring and Diesel and Shawn having rivalries and trading victories with Shawn getting the win at Summerslam 1994 with the intereference of Sycho Sid leading up to 1995 with Diesel getting a win over Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 11 and HBK finally getting the victory over Diesel last year in Chicago, then turned into Michaels becoming a face by the spring of 1995 and reuniting with Diesel and winning the WWF Tag Team Titles in August, followed up by Diesel's rampage at the 1995 Survivor Series, but also Shawn Michaels's injury as well, followed up by Michaels winning the 1996 Royal Rumble and winning the WWF Title at WrestleMania 12 over Bret Hart, and followed up by Diesel attacking and ruining Shawn Michaels's ceremony, but tonight, former friends collide for the World Wrestling Federation Championship.
Dok Hendrix interviews Diesel about the Main Event saying if Diesel does indeed have The Heartbreak Kid's number. Diesel says that ever since Shawn Michaels brought him to the World Wrestling Federation, he is still #2. Because Shawn led him to the WWF Tag Team Titles, But where did Diesel measure up to Shawn, He didn't, because when they won the WWF Tag Team Titles twice, he was still held back and that's why he couldn't take it anymore. Diesel tells Shawn that at WrestleMania, his WWF Championship victory was a fluke, And that's the reason he turned on him because Shawn Michaels could never beat Diesel, cause throughout 1994 and 1995, no matter how many times Diesel got to Shawn Michaels, he always comes up on the losing end of the stick. But tonight it's not going to happen because when Diesel finally becomes the WWF Champion for the first time, the WWF and all the others will have to respect a real champion that they deserve not Shawn Michaels. And all the ladies will be crying to their cocaine high school teenage boyfriends.
Diesel begins to head down to the ring for this WWF Championship Match. It looks like he is a man possessed here tonight.
Todd Pettengill then begins to interview Shawn Michaels who tells him about Diesel's comments. Michaels says that Diesel was right, it was him that brought Diesel to the WWF. Michaels says that him and Diesel were best friends, they became the WWF Tag Team Champions together, Michaels then says that he would do anything for Diesel in a heartbeat, but Diesel would never measure up to The Heartbreak Kid, and that's why, he's scored all these victories over him, Michaels says that at Summerslam 1994, he fired the first shot, but at WrestleMania 11, Diesel got one over on him which he could respect that, Michaels says for the past year he's overcome adversity and if not, he still would've not been the WWF Champion because truthfully Diesel could've stepped in his shoes even if Shawn Michaels wanted him to. Shawn tells Diesel that tonight the band will be tuning up on their friendship and the band will be tuning up on Diesel losing again.
Match 8: WWF Championship Match Shawn Michaels vs Diesel Michaels begins to make his way down to the ring but he's not in the mood to shake people's hands here tonight, he takes off his entrance vest and begins to get in the ring to go right for Diesel. Michaels begins to throw right hands on Diesel and look at this Shawn is just taking it to Big Daddy Cool here. Diesel begins to throw Shawn off but everytime Diesel tries to try a move on Shawn. Shawn just throws more right hands at Diesel. Shawn begins to whip Diesel into the ropes but Diesel reverses it and Diesel goes for a boot but Shawn dropkicks Diesel but that dropkick does not faze Diesel. Shawn runs off the ropes and sends Diesel out of the ring and himself with a clothesline but Shawn skins the cat and Diesel stays on the outside and look at Shawn, he's going to the top rope and Shawn hits a diving cross body taking down his former best friend. Shawn tries to toss Diesel back in the ring but Diesel grabs Shawn by the throat and chokeslams him straight into the ringpost and that was not a good sound. Lawler says that Diesel may have injured The Heartbreak Kid right then and there. Diesel tosses Shawn back in the ring and begins to gain momentum on Shawn. Diesel begins to go to work on the injured back of Shawn. Diesel whips Shawn into the ropes and hits a high back body drop but wait Shawn lands on his feet and heads to the top rope and hits an outstanding takedown on Big Daddy Cool followed up by punches and that looked like more of a Lou Thesz Press takedown on Diesel. This match is definitely personal between Shawn and Diesel. Diesel begins to get up but Michaels takes him back down with a double axe handle off the top rope. Michaels goes for the cover but Diesel is able to kick out. Michaels then begins to set up for Sweet Chin Music, could it be this over already?. Michaels sets up the band but as Michaels gets there. Diesel surprises the champion with a boot to the face. Diesel finally regains the momentum against Shawn. Diesel picks up Shawn and military press slams him over the top rope to the floor, what impact by Big Daddy Cool. Diesel begins to do Shawn Michaels's pose and screams that he's a sexy boy. Diesel gets out of the ring and as Shawn begins to get up. Diesel nails him with a big clothesline taking Shawn down to the mat. Diesel then grabs Shawn and tosses him back in the ring. Diesel dominates the contest for a few short minutes and even goes straight for the back of Shawn Michaels. Michaels tries to fight back and Michaels charges for a move but Diesel grabs Shawn by the throat once again and chokeslams him to the mat. Lawler predicts that Diesel is going to win the WWF Title here and that it's all over. Diesel goes for the cover but Michaels is able to kick out. Diesel locks on a sleeper on The Heartbreak Kid and wears him down with that hold for a few minutes but Michaels gets out of the sleeper hold but as Michaels begins to fight back. Diesel slows down Michaels's momentum with a Sidewalk Slam. Diesel goes for another cover but the champion is showing some resilence as he kicks out again. Diesel grabs Michaels and headbutts him to the mat and Diesel starts to punch away at Michaels telling him that he's not his friend anymore, he's just Shawn to him. And all those punches may have busted the WWF Champion open. Michaels is bleeding all over the place. Michaels cannot defend himself here. The ref asks Shawn if he still wants to continue and Shawn says yes. Diesel then goes for a right hand but look at this Michaels begins to throw kicks and punches. Michaels is fighting hard to keep Diesel down and Michaels runs off the ropes and hits a running tornado DDT on Diesel. How did Michaels find the strength to fight out of Diesel's dominance. Michaels is still busted open but he's showing some resilency here. Michaels charges at Diesel but Diesel backdrops him over the top rope to the floor. McMahon says that Diesel should just pick Shawn back up in the ring and pin him to win this match and the WWF Title. Diesel then picks up Shawn and begins to look at Vince saying "This one's for you McMahon". The referee begins to try to stop Diesel but Diesel does not care. Diesel grabs Shawn and sets up for the jackknife powerbomb and look at this Diesel just powerbombed the champion through the announce table. Diesel just powerbombed the WWF Champion straight through the announce table. Michaels is out of it. Diesel then snatches the WWF Title away from the timekeeper and gets in the ring with it while the referee begins to check on Shawn saying if he wants to continue on with this match. Diesel then raises up the WWF Title Belt, but look at this Shawn begins to get to his feet as McMahon tells Shawn that Shawn doesn't need to win this match. Diesel is in the ring seeing the chaos and is stunned that Shawn is back to his feet. Shawn slowly gets to the ring and Diesel just laughs saying "just die and give up Shawn". Diesel then screams at Shawn saying "this is going to hurt me more than it hurts you". It looks like Diesel is setting up for another jackknife, but no Shawn begins to get out of the jackknife and look at this Michaels is hitting right hands on Diesel, a bloody, battered Michaels is still in this fight, the Champion is not going to give up. Michaels whips Diesel into the ropes but Diesel reverses it and Michaels brings him down with a flying forearm and both men are down, now it's gutcheck time between these two. Michaels and Diesel are down but look at this Shawn nips up and gets back to his feet. Shawn runs off the ropes and hits a clothesline and nails another clothesline taking Diesel down to the mat. HBK waits for Diesel to get up and Michaels follows those two clotheslines up with an atomic drop and then follows that up with a chop. But Diesel rakes the eyes and goes for a right hand but Michaels blocks out of it and kicks Diesel in the gut and nails a DDT taking Big Daddy Cool down to the mat. Michaels then heads to the top rope and hits a diving elbow drop on Diesel. This could be it right here, A bloody Michaels has somehow gotten back in the game. Michaels sets up for Sweet Chin Music again. Diesel gets up but as Michaels goes to tune in the band. Diesel shoves the referee out of the way and Michaels accidentally nails the referee with Sweet Chin Music. Michaels tries to see what happened but gets floored with a clothesline. The WWF Title is on the line both these men wanna survive here. Diesel then picks up the WWF Championship Belt that he threw on the outside and Diesel charges at Shawn with the belt but Shawn ducks and Shawn kicks Diesel in the gut and Shawn grabs the belt and clocks Diesel in the skull with it, the referee is still down, but all Shawn has to do is get the referee up and cover Diesel. Shawn then goes for the cover but the referee is still down. Shawn then grabs Diesel and sets up for the Sweet Chin Music but for the third time Diesel blocks it. Diesel then sets up Shawn and goes for the jackknife one more time, the referee is beginning to wake up and Shawn fights out of the jackknife and Shawn hits Diesel with Sweet Chin Music. Sweet Chin Music by Michaels!. Michaels goes for the cover, 1. 2. No Diesel kicks out, Diesel just kicked out of HBK's Sweet Chin Music. Shawn begins to get frustrated as his first title defense seems to be testy here. Shawn tells Diesel to get up as he looks to tune up the band one more time. Diesel begins to get up and beg to Shawn. Diesel seems like he is begging, he gets back up and tells Shawn that it doesn't have to be this way, he offers his hand to Shawn but Shawn shrugs him off and Diesel grabs Shawn and slaps him right in the face and Shawn goes down once again, what an act by Big Daddy Cool, but as Diesel begins to taunt to the crowd one more time. Shawn hits him with another Sweet Chin Music. Shawn goes for the cover one more time. 1. 2. 3. And Shawn has retained the World Wrestling Federation Championship in his first PPV Defense, what a hard-fought victory for the Heartbreak Kid. Winner and Still World Wrestling Federation Champion: Shawn Michaels
Shawn begins to get up and he starts to celebrate for a few minutes, but you gotta admit it was a hard fought WWF Championship Match, but all of a sudden. Razor Ramon enters the ring and begins to clap for The Heartbreak Kid, these two have been best friends. Razor begins to shake HBK's hand and raises his arm up, but wait a minute. Razor just clocked Shawn with a right hand, what the hell was that for?. What is up with Razor?. Razor begins to beat and stomp away on The Heartbreak Kid, but why is Razor attacking Shawn?. What is Razor's problem here?. Razor then picks up the WWF Title Belt and clocks Shawn in the skull with it. Lawler begins to applaud Razor saying that he really is the truly bad guy. Another friend has betrayed Shawn Michaels here tonight and that is Razor Ramon. Razor picks up Shawn and scoops him up for the Razor's Edge and Razor nails the WWF Champion with the Razor's Edge, that is not right at all. Razor begins to look at the camera and begins to speak saying "The Bad Guy is back". Razor then picks up the WWF Title Belt and starts to raise it up in the middle of the air. Razor then picks up a microphone and says that it looks like Shawn may have survived another title defense, but at Beware of Dog, he won't be surviving another one, because Razor's been named the #1 Contender, and at Beware of Dog. The Bad Guy is going to take the World Wrestling Federation Championship back and when he takes the WWF Title, then it will be the final time they will ever see Razor Ramon in the WWF and the WWF Title again. What does Razor mean by that?. He's leaving the WWF and he's threatening to take the World Wrestling Federation Championship with him too?. Referees and officials begin to check on Shawn as Razor begins to leave the ring, A chorus of boos are directed straight at Razor Ramon. Razor begins to pose to the crowd as Gold Rush goes off the air.

AMERICA ONLINE CATCHES UP WITH RAZOR RAMON ON WHY HE TURNED ON SHAWN MICHAELS April 28. 1996 AOL: Razor, just moments ago you turned your back on your best friend Shawn Michaels, why did you do what you did to someone that was called your best friend?. Razor: Why You Ask?, Because I am tired of being frustrated time after time, ever since I lost the WWF Title at Survivor Series, I did everything I could to get that re-match, I went through hell to get that belt at WrestleMania 11, and all of a sudden, my title reign for eight months is just a one-hit wonder Meng, Yo, The Bad Guy is no one-hit wonder, For eight months, I have defended this belt whether they were The Million Dollar Corporation, Owen Hart, British Bulldog, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, and yet what do I get in response?, All the fans cheer for their pretty boytoy with a handsome face and that man is Shawn Michaels, Yo, I get it, He's the World Wrestling Federation Champion, but why wasn't I the first to ask for a title shot?. I mean I admit at WrestleMania, I lost to Steve Austin, but I never lose and that's why I did what I did. AOL: With all that being said, you did beat Steve Austin at Gold Rush tonight, but you attacking Shawn Michaels was just uncalled for, are you telling us that you are the #1 Contender now for the WWF Title? Razor: You know what Meng, yes I am the #1 Contender, And at Beware of Dog, on May 26. I am asking meng, No I'm demanding that Shawn Michaels put his WWF Title on the line against me, because Shawn Michaels and all his fans know that I am still the rightful WWF Champion. I stayed Champion for the last eight months, And Shawn. As far as I'm concerned, I don't think you can last eight months Meng, but you know what Shawn, you have to remember Chico, remember Survivor Series 1993 when I stole your Intercontinental Title, that's what I'm going to do at Beware of Dog when I take the World Wrestling Federation Championship, Meng. And if I lose which I won't, I will leave the WWF for good. AOL: Wait a minute, you said you were going to leave the WWF if you wasn't going to win the WWF Championship? Razor: That's exactly what I said Chico. I mean for the last four years everyone knows I've been busting my ass, I've been providing my life for this business. I was in prison for something I didn't do. And I'm a changed man, but where did that get me, all the wrestlers I've faced, all the matches I put on, it got me nowhere, it all started when Shawn Michaels had his little injury and they all distanced theirselves from me. They gave Shawn all the credit, Chico. Not me, But you know something Shawn, this match between you and me, we don't even have to have pinfalls, we don't even have to have submissions, we don't even have to have disqualifactions or countouts, We can hang the WWF Title up high meng. And we can have a Ladder Match, two men enter, one climbs the ladder and becomes The WWF Champion. What do you say Shawn?, if you say you are a real champion, then accept my challenge, You have til Monday Night RAW to accept my challenge, Chico, and we all know The Bad Guy does not like waiting!. AOL: Thanks for your time Razor!.

Pleasantly surprised Bigelow & Skip won the belts. Hopefully Pillman returns to TV as their mouthpiece. Love this AU version of the Triple threat.
Mankind vs. Roberts and Austin vs. Razor are two matches/feuds that needed to happen in real time, but were great reads.
Is Razor-HBK going to happen? Can't wait. Great job, man.

- Bam Bam Bigelow & Skip becoming the new WWF Tag Team Champions beating The Steiner Brothers I mean they did it cleanly and with no help from Pillman or even from Sunny no interference from either one of them on their behalf...they beat The Steiners Rick & Scott on all their own but that said now that they have done that I mean it begs the question of where Bam Bam & Skip go from here? I mean aren't The Steiners entitled to a rematch clause? But then again in real life at around this time both The Steiner Brothers were in WCW not the WWF so I wonder how much longer they can really last here in the WWF especially since we're going to be heading into the Monday Night Wars soon
- Mankind Mrs. Foley's Baby Boy with yet another dominating victory...this time on PPV he beats a bonafide legend in Jake "The Snake" Roberts I mean he did it cleanly so that more or less puts Mankind not only in the spotlight it throws him right into that echelon that cusp of being a main event guy or he can be especially during this Monday Night Wars if the Monday Night Wars are built up properly here in this diary like how it was in real life...post-match Undertaker mind games being played here on Mankind he can say that he isn't afraid of the dark he can say he isn't afraid of The Undertaker but after that incident with the druid it is clear The Undertaker is in the head of Mankind
- Marc Mero in his first PPV match with Sable as Mero beats Hunter Hearst Helmsley now this feud has gotten personal really quick but this match was definitely back and forth to say the least I mean Helmsley he took Mero to the limit and then some but Mero proving that he actually can hang in with the best that the WWF has to offer and Helmsley is no slouch especially considering he is a former King of the Ring winning it last year as a matter of a fact but Mero cheating to win...more or less was a heel move but he basically outcheated Helmsley who would've done the same thing
- Razor Ramon getting his win back by beating Austin here at Gold Rush...I mean Ramon was due to get his win back especially since he has more or less been lost in the shuffle lately in the WWF but also considering he lost at WrestleMania 12 to Steve Austin he was bound to get his victory back but since he did I mean it begs the question of where does Razor Ramon go from here? Austin I keep saying this he doesn't need The Million Dollar Corporation like I don't even understand why The Corporation is even still a stable here in the WWF considering in 1996 the stable more or less came to an end and Austin he doesn't even need The Corporation he never did and it is about time he goes out on his own and becomes "Stone Cold" and he becomes "The Texas Rattlesnake" especially considering in 1996 in real life at about this time he ended up becoming Stone Cold and who will ever remember the infamous Austin 3:16 King of the Ring 1996 speech after he won it
- Ahmed Johnson retaining his WWF Intercontinental Championship beating Goldust yet again basically just proves that Ahmed Johnson is not only a fighting champion but that ever since he has become champion he has taken on all comers and Goldust being no different but then post-match being attacked by Ron Simmons Faarooq I mean it was bound to happen sooner or later and it did which pretty much sets up Ahmed's next program against Faarooq but I wonder if we will end up seeing The Nation of Domination being formed here in the World Wrestling Federation with Faarooq, JC Ice, Wolfie D, Clarence Mason, Savio Vega, Crush, etc.
- The King actually acknowledging that Brian Christopher is his son that is a first considering how in real life Brian Christopher didn't want anyone to know that he was Jerry Lawler's son hell he never even used the Lawler name so I wonder why Brian Christopher is even doing his father's dirty work considering how in real life weren't they estranged as father and son? But then again seeing Brian Christopher beat a legend like Terry Funk I mean it didn't come without controversy of course because of Brian's old man because of his father The King getting involved but that being said with Brian Christopher beating Funk it begs the question of if he ends up forming a tag team with Scott Taylor also known as Scotty 2 Hotty?
Vader in a shocker beats The Ultimate Warrior...the dream match finally happens but it ends up in Vader going over Warrior I mean Vader obviously needed the win considering Vader he needed to bounce back especially after WrestleMania 12 where he lost to The Undertaker and a loss to The Ultimate Warrior would have really have killed Vader's momentum as far as him being a top credible monster heel in the WWF but seeing him go up against a former WWF Champion a former WWF IC Champion a bonafide legend like Warrior not only beat him but destroy him I mean it basically sets up Vader to be the top monster heel here in the WWF
Shawn Michaels in the main event retaining his WWF Championship beating his former best friend turned bitter enemy Diesel to send Diesel packing and out of the WWF I mean we all knew Diesel was going to lose this match considering in real life at this time he was heading to WCW anyway so to see him lose this match to Shawn wasn't really all that surprising but this for sure sets up the Monday Night Wars especially now...I wonder if we will get the infamous Madison Square Garden Curtain Call incident with Diesel, Razor Ramon, Shawn Michaels and Hunter Hearst Helmsley? But with Shawn Michaels going over Diesel it sets up Shawn's title reign quite nicely in the sense of just who will be the next #1 Contender for the WWF Championship but then cue Razor Ramon who shows up out of nowhere to help Shawn celebrate and then out of nowhere Razor Ramon turns heel on Shawn yet another best friend of Shawn's turns on him but this time it is Razor Ramon to set up a Shawn/Razor program yet again I think I could get behind this program especially now because the roles are reversed and Shawn is the babyface and Razor is the heel which should be interesting
- Razor Ramon explaining his heel turn on Shawn it actually makes total sense as to why he turned on Shawn but will Shawn accept his explanation that is the million dollar question? I think not...but Razor more or less putting his career on the line to challenge Shawn but will Shawn accept? If Razor loses he's gone out of the WWF for good but if he wins he says he is going to take the WWF Championship with him and go to WCW well more or less so I wonder if this match will happen at Beware of Dog? And if it does I wonder what kind of match these 2 will have?

WWF RAW - April 28. 1996 Clips are shown of what happened at Beware of Dog including the WWF Championship Match between Shawn Michaels and Diesel with HBK retaining the title and Razor Ramon coming out to what was thought to have celebrated with Shawn Michaels but instead Razor turned his back on Shawn and demanded that Shawn put the title on the line against Razor at Beware of Dog. The WWF Champion is here and so is Razor Ramon, will Shawn Michaels accept the challenge tonight?. Also Mankind is in action, but The Undertaker is back as well but will he target Mankind?. Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler are your hosts for Monday Night RAW. Match 1: Jushin Thunder Liger vs Hunter Hearst Helmsley Hunter Hearst Helmsley seems a little bit frustrated after his loss to Marc Mero last night, but he looks to redeem himself as he takes on Jushin Thunder Liger. Liger gets offense in against Helmsley to start the match and is in complete control of this contest but Helmsley battles back against Liger and hits a spinebuster on the concrete as Liger attempted a cross body off the top rope to the outside. Helmsley dominates this match against Liger as he delivers a backbreaker but Liger is able to kick out. Liger battles back somehow but Helmsley knocks him back down with a clothesline and gets a cover but Liger is able to kick out. Liger begins to make his comeback and almost gets the win by hitting the shooting star press on Helmsley but Helmsley rolls out of the way and Helmsley picks up Liger and looks to go for the pedigree, but all of a sudden he is distracted by Marc Mero and Sable coming on the entry way. Helmsley challenges Mero to come on and face him again, but as Helmsley tries to take care of business on Liger. Liger surprises him with the Liger Suplex and nails Helmsley with the Shooting Star Press. Liger goes for the cover and pins Helmsley to get the win, what a win for Jushin Thunder Liger with help from Marc Mero, it looks like Helmsley has stirred up another loss once again, the 1995 King of The Ring Winner is not having very much luck at all. Winner: Jushin Thunder Liger Dok Hendrix has the Gold Rush Report. Hendrix talks about the matches that happened at Gold Rush, including the shocking betrayal with Razor Ramon turning on Shawn Michaels, but then talks about the Ahmed Johnson/Goldust WWF Intercontinental Title Match with Ron Simmons attacking Ahmed Johnson, featuring a promo with Ron Simmons talking about what he did to Ahmed. Simmons says that black men need to be respected, Ahmed may be a black man but he should have not gotten the opportunities Ron Simmons was going to have, Simmons then tells Ahmed to keep the belt warm because after Ahmed defends the belt every single time, he wants the Intercontinental Belt and he's not going to stop at nothing until he injures Ahmed for good. Simmons tells Ahmed to be ready because soon that Intercontinental Championship will be his.
RAW cuts back to McMahon and Lawler still on commentary but joining them is Stone Cold Steve Austin, Austin says that the reason why he's on commentary is because he wants everyone to know that he's gotten rid of Ted Dibiase and he certainly doesn't need Crush or Kama, he's his own person because of what happened to Razor Ramon. Austin says that he doesn't need no one to help him win matches, he can win his own damn match, Austin then issues a challenge to anyone at Beware of Dog that can face him one-on-one, Austin leaves the commentary booth as they cut back to King and McMahon announcing the next match.
Match 2: Public Enemy w/Slick vs Duke Droese and Chris Adams Somewhat of a squash Tag Team Match here, but Droese and Adams have a little bit of fight in them, but still get squashed by Rocco and Rock. Rocco gets the win for his team by hitting a powerbomb followed by a splash by Rock on Adams to get the win. The Public Enemy then point to the Tag Team Belts around their waists, Public Enemy wanna become WWF Tag Team Champions again. Winners: The Public Enemy Backstage, A Limousine pulls up in the arena, McMahon believes that The Undertaker is in that limousine, is it The Undertaker?, The door pops open, but it's Razor Ramon with a blue vest jacket and blue jeans, Razor is here, but will Shawn Michaels accept Razor's Ladder Match challenge at Beware of Dog for May 26?.
(break) Match 3: Brian Christopher w/Jerry Lawler vs Sonny Rogers Brian Christopher fresh off his win over Terry Funk makes his RAW debut taking on Scott Rogers. Christopher shows a good impressive match out there with Rogers, Rogers is able to get some offense in at one point hitting a back body drop on Christopher and a high cross body but Christopher is just too strong and puts Rogers down with a rake of the eye followed up by using his father's move The Piledriver to get the victory. Another win for Brian Christopher as he is 2-0 here in the World Wrestling Federation as Lawler screams at it on Commentary. Winner: Brian Christopher Lawler and McMahon plug Mankind in action against The Native American Tatanka next. Match 4: Mankind vs Tatanka What a match this is going to be, as Tatanka the WWF Veteran battles the deranged Mankind here tonight. Tatanka and Mankind lock up in this contest with Tatanka getting in some advantage on Mankind and hitting a few chops in the buckle on Mankind but Mankind fights back by punching away on Tatanka but Tatanka tosses him over the top rope to the floor. Tatanka goes out to follow Mankind. Mankind is able to battle back and whips Tatanka into the steel steps. Mankind is absolutely focused on getting this match to an end, he dominated Jake Roberts at Gold Rush last night, but can he dominate another WWF Veteran here in Tatanka tonight. Mankind takes Tatanka back into the ring where Mankind continues to dominate the match but Tatanka somehow makes a comeback and hits a flying chop off the top rope on Mankind but Mankind is able to kick out. Tatanka was very close to break the Undefeated Streak of Mankind. Tatanka then sets up for the End of The Trail but Mankind elbows Tatanka in the head and goes for the Double Arm DDT but Tatanka counters it into a back suplex and Tatanka is all pumped up now. Tatanka whips Mankind into the ropes and nails a powerslam but only gets a two count. Mankind gets in the ropes but Tatanka takes him out of the ring with a clothesline. Tatanka gets out of the ring and tries to continue his onslaught on Mankind but Mankind nails a back body drop on the concrete as Tatanka came charging at him. Mankind then tosses Tatanka back in the ring and Mankind nails him with the Double Arm DDT but as he gets set to deliver the Mandible Claw, the lights go out as The Undertaker's music blares in the arena and look The Undertaker is sprinting down to ringside and Undertaker begins to throw right hands at Mankind as the referee calls for the bell. Winner by DQ: Mankind Undertaker doesn't care as he just peppers Mankind with more right hands, Mankind battles back on Undertaker and whips Undertaker into the ropes but Undertaker reverses it and hits a big boot to the face taking down Mankind. Taker then runs off the ropes and sends Mankind out of the ring with a clothesline. Mankind pulls Undertaker out of the ring and battles back against Undertaker. Mankind tries to take Undertaker into the steel steps but Undertaker reverses it and tosses Mankind into the steel steps. Taker begins to stomp away on Mankind, referees and officials try to stop Undertaker but Undertaker attacks all of them and even chokeslams one of them on the concrete floor. Mankind then grabs a Steel Chair and whacks Undertaker in the back with it but look it did not even faze The Undertaker at all. Mankind charges at Taker with the chair again but Undertaker punches the chair right in Mankind's face. Undertaker then gets in the ring and Mankind begins to walk out of the ring but Undertaker is putting his hands up telling Mankind to bring it. But it looks like it may be on Mankind's terms. Paul Bearer enters the ring with the urn in hand and Undertaker does his kneel pose, Then suddenly on the entryway appears Vader and Jim Cornette. Vader stares down Undertaker and so does The Phenom, the two will face off at Beware of Dog in a No Holds Barred Match, and if you thought their encounter at WrestleMania 12 was special, wait till Beware of Dog. (break) We are back live on RAW as Razor Ramon is in the ring with microphone in hand, Razor says that no one is going to conduct this interview for him, he's going to conduct it himself. Razor says that ever since he came to the WWF, he wasn't respected, The Fans didn't respect him very much enough, but the fact is Meng, he never respected the fans, all the fans ever did was be Razor's role model, all the kids wanted to be like Razor Ramon. All the adults wanted to be Razor Ramon, and all of them including Vince McMahon wanted Razor Ramon as the top dog in the WWF, So what did he do?. At WrestleMania 11, he beat a man that he respects and still does respect, and that is Bret "The Hitman" Hart and he became the WWF Champion but when he was the WWF Champion, he was told by the politics including Vince McMahon himself that he would never be a great champion. Razor stares at Vince and tells him that Vince wanted Razor to be corporate, but Meng, He is not corporate, He is the true bad guy, and after Survivor Series, when he lost the World Wrestling Federation Championship, the fans did not care, all the fans still cared about was Shawn Michaels, the arrogant little boy toy. Razor tells Shawn that Razor never received a phone call and everytime Razor would call to check on Shawn when Shawn was injured, Shawn no longer returned his phone calls or got his messages, Razor also says that he was happy that Shawn was going to come to the World Wrestling Federation, it was going to be the exciting time cause The KLIQ would rule the world together once again. But with Diesel turning his back on the fans and his good buddy Sean Waltman better yet known as The 123 Kid trying to make it to the big leagues, It was just Shawn and Razor, but what does Shawn Michaels do?. Shawn Michaels comes back from his miracle injury and wins the 1996 Royal Rumble, the Royal Rumble where he should've won and the WrestleMania he should've main evented against Bret Hart again. But no, Shawn Michaels goes up to WrestleMania and wins the WWF Title, Razor says that Shawn promised if he won the World Wrestling Federation Championship, Razor would be the first in line to get a phone call from Shawn, but he didn't, and you know what happened. Shawn never called Razor until he was the last man to be called. So he's left waiting in the wings, Razor knew that the night Shawn Michaels won the WWF Title at WrestleMania and disrespected the Bad Guy by not calling him, That's when he had to take action, Razor told Shawn that now that Razor attacked him at Gold Rush, he does not have no friends, he doesn't have anybody anymore all The Heartbreak Kid has is himself now, and as for Razor, he wants to be the next WWF Champion, he wants to climb that ladder of success once again. And when he climbs that ladder of success at Beware of Dog, he's going to take the WWF Championship and he is going to WCW to take that belt, then suddenly Shawn Michaels's music plays in the arena as he comes out with a ladder. Shawn says that Razor is delusional, all he hears is how Shawn turned his back on his friends, well the fact is Shawn never turned his back on Diesel and Razor Ramon, They both turned on him, Shawn says that if Razor wanted a title shot, he would've been the first in line, but the fact is Razor had a lot on his plate with Steve Austin, and what happened at WrestleMania 12, Austin beat him. And the reason why Razor has a bad attitude is because he is the WWF Champion, but for Razor threatening to take the WWF Championship to another company, that's just plain wrong in The Heartbreak Kid's opinion, HBK then tells Razor that when a WWF Superstar becomes the World Wrestling Federation Champion, they have to defend it here in the WWF, not on some second rate wrestling company, When a WWF Superstar becomes the Champion, they have to provide for the fans, Shawn says that last year was Razor's time, but this year is now his time. Shawn says that he didn't win the WWF Championship on his own, all of the fans helped him win the WWF Title, and all Razor ever did was just wait for that phone call. Shawn then says that at Beware of Dog, he does accept Razor's challenge, he does accept the Ladder Match for the WWF Championship. Razor says that he's glad Shawn saw things that way because at Beware of Dog what Razor is going to do is to beat Shawn down and unconscious Meng, he is going to lay him out, it will take more than 1 Razor's Edge to put him down, it will even take more 10 Razor Edge's to put him down, and after Razor destroys Shawn, he's going to climb the ladder and he's going to become the top dog of the WWF again and the WWF Chico will no longer have the World Wrestling Federation Championship, because there is no one that's going to stop him, then Roddy Piper comes down and says that perhaps he can if Razor does win the WWF Championship, Piper tells Shawn that if he does lose the WWF Championship to Razor, he will go backstage and strip the WWF Title away from Razor and after he strips Razor of the WWF Title, the next night after Beware of Dog, the next PPV will be The King of The Ring and the WWF Title will be held in the annual King of The Ring Tournament and whoever wins the match will not only become the 1996 King of The Ring but will become the WWF Champion and Shawn Michaels does not have to qualify at King of The Ring, he will be involved in the tournament, Piper says that he hopes Shawn will do everything in his power to keep the WWF Championship away from Razor Ramon, because the WWF Championship belongs to the World Wrestling Federation, there are people that have held that belt and people that have bled this business for the Championship. Piper lastly says that at Beware of Dog in that Ladder Match, he doesn't give a damn if Shawn and Razor beat the living hell out of each other, all he wants is a winner, and if Razor dares to take that WWF Championship from that wrestling company, he is going to go true to his word and the WWF Title will be vacated and defended at the King of The Ring, Piper then says to both these two, have a good match, Piper leaves the ring as Razor and Shawn stare each other down, Razor then throws his toothpick at Shawn, but that does not faze Shawn. Shawn then slaps Razor in the face, what a slap by The Heartbreak Kid. Razor gets mad and tells Michaels to bring it, and these two are still exchanging words as RAW goes off the air.

- Liger beating Hunter Hearst Helmsley well major assist goes to Marc Mero and Sable because if they hadn't gotten involved here in this match distracting Helmsley he would have put Liger away hell he was well on his way to victory until they showed up and then Hunter took his eyes off the ball and Liger took advantage but after that I think it is safe to assume that this rivalry is far from over
- Glad that Stone Cold Steve Austin has finally become "Stone Cold" and he has dropped The Million Dollar Corporation striking out on his own and the Texas Rattlesnake can now truly be born I wonder if Austin will become the bad ass anti-authority swearing guy now ushering us into the Attitude Era?
- Faarooq Ron Simmons he is gunning for the WWF Intercontinental Championship but yet he hasn't done anything to even earn a title match I mean has Faarooq even had a match yet here since coming to the WWF? But I wonder if Ahmed will accept?
- Public Enemy beating a jobber tag team more or less I mean Public Enemy they are no longer in contention for the WWF Tag Team Championships I mean especially now that Bam Bam & Skip are the new WWF Tag Team Champions but they have to be talked about as far as being in the conversation for those titles but The Steiners they have a rematch clause
- Razor Ramon being in the limo he actually rode in a limo here to RAW...love the new heel look the attitude from Razor he truly is a Bad Guy
- The King's son Brian Christopher wins yet another match here on RAW this time beating a jobber but now that Brian Christopher is undefeated here on RAW I wonder if Jerry Lawler's son will target championship gold here in the WWF? I mean ever since Brian has had his father The King in his corner it has done wonders for him but The King is doing what any father do he is in the corner of his son and Brian Christopher he is a 2nd generation superstar but can he be a star in this business? Can he be a bigger star than his father ever was?
- Mankind's undefeated streak stays in tact Mrs. Foley's Baby Boy is still undefeated here in the World Wrestling Federation this time he wins a match all be it by DQ getting a DQ win against Tatanka because of The Undertaker showing up and Taker & Mankind are going at it but Mankind eventually ends up leaving in retreat but then out of nowhere Vader shows up...I mean I can't wait to see Taker/Vader II at Beware of Dog but I wonder what kind of match they are going to have?
- Razor's heel promo was a thing of beauty...but his heel turn makes so much sense and quite frankly as a babyface at around this time in 1996 he was getting rather stale so a heel turn actually does wonders for his character but then seeing him explain why he turned on Shawn it makes so much sense especially when you bring up the Kliq history and what not but then cue Razor who says that if and when he wins the WWF Championship he plans on taking it with him down south to WCW to World Championship Wrestling...could you imagine if Razor Ramon ends up doing that? Cue Shawn Michaels the WWF Champion who comes out and then it eventually leads to Piper the WWF President coming out as he says that should Razor win the title he won't be taking it with him to WCW because he plans on stripping Razor of the title well I would love to see Piper try but it leads to Razor throwing his toothpick at Shawn which I thought was funny as hell but then seeing Shawn in retaliation slap Razor...just makes this feud even more personal but to see these 2 going at it for the WWF Championship but in a Ladder Match I can't wait
- I thought that the King of the Ring tournament was specifically only designed for the winner to get a WWF Championship match in the main event of SummerSlam but I didn't think that this tournament would specifically be for the WWF Championship

WWF RAW - May 6. 1996
Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler are your hosts for Monday Night RAW. McMahon announces tonight's main event as it will be The Undertaker going one on one with Crush and you can bet Crush's partner Kama will not be far behind and even Vader and Mankind as well and also tonight is the RAW In-Ring Debut of Ron Simmons.
Match 1: Stone Cold Steve Austin vs The 123 Kid A great match here to kick off Monday Night RAW as The 123 Kid battles the cold and calculating Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin begins to attack The Kid at the end of his entrance. Austin whips The Kid into the ropes and goes for a clothesline but The Kid counters it into a spinning heel kick knocking down Austin and also hits another heel kick on Austin. The Kid takes the momentum but misses a somersault dive with Austin rolling out of the way. Austin begins to gain the momentum again on The Kid working on the neck of The Kid, Austin continues to dominate the match but The Kid makes a comeback and whips Austin into the ropes nailing a powerslam but Austin is able to kick out. The Kid then lights Austin up with some kicks in the buckle, the former Intercontinental Champion is taking it to Austin. and Austin is sitting on the turnbuckle but as The Kid goes for a move. Austin turns The Kid's clock inside out with a big clothesline, a big clothesline by Austin takes down the Kid. Austin whips The Kid into the ropes and goes for a back body drop but The Kid counters it and hits a hurracarana on Austin, The Kid goes for the cover but Austin kicks out. The Kid is very frustrated that he can't take down Austin. The Kid then sets up for the X-Factor but Austin shoves him off and nails The Stunner on The Kid to get the victory, and what a win for Austin, a hard fought battle for Austin. Winner: Stone Cold Steve Austin After the match. Austin picks up the microphone and starts to spesk saying if it's the best competition that they've got?. This isn't the best competition, he needs some real competition, he dropped Ted Dibiase so he can be on his own. And he faces a washed up punk like The 123 Kid, that's not fair to him. So Austin demands that he's issuing an open challenge at Beware of Dog for anyone to come fight him and he doesn't give a rats ass if it's anyone, he can beat them with his eyes closed. Then suddenly Ultimate Warrior's theme plays in the arena. And there's the Ultimate Warrior but he's on the video wall. Warrior demands that if Austin wants to fight some real competition, then he should face the Ultimate Warrior, and at Beware of Dog, Austin will not stop the Ultimate Warrior. Austin has a smile on his face as his challenge has been answered by The Ultimate Warrior at Beware of Dog. Todd Pettengill gives us the Beware of Dog Report, Pettengill announces the usual card with the Ladder Match for the WWF Championship being the main event and also Undertaker vs Vader in a No Holds Barred, but a new match has been announced and it's Steve Austin vs Ultimate Warrior and speaking of new matches, A re-match has been added for the WWF Tag Team Titles as Bam Bam Bigelow and Skip take on The Steiner Brothers, comments are from Bam Bam Bigelow and Skip alongside Brian Pillman & Sunny. Pillman speaks first and says that he is real proud of his boys for becoming the champions, he's glad that Bigelow and Skip shut down the Steiner Brothers for good, but at Beware of Dog, he's going to be more prouder of them, because The Steiner Brothers will not become Tag Team Champions bottom line, Bigelow speaks and says that they are the greatest tag team that is going around because Brian Pillman told them that changes were going to be coming and they are. Bigelow, Skip and Pillman are the greatest team going around and not only that, they have the lovely Sunny. Sunny says her usual saying "What Sunny wants, Sunny gets." (break) Match 2: Ron Simmons w/Slick vs Chris Adams It turns out that Slick is now the new manager of Ron Simmons as he takes on Chris Adams, it looks like Ron Simmons made a deal with Slick as Simmons completely dominates this contest against Adams. Adams tries to get a little bit of offense but Simmons just takes Adams down and gets the win by hitting the move he calls the Dominator to get the victory, But what is the relationship between Ron Simmons and Slick, even McMahon doesn't know himself?. Lawler asks McMahon to interview both Ron Simmons and Slick to see what the relationship is. Winner: Ron Simmons (break) McMahon is back in the ring with Ron Simmons and Slick. McMahon asks Slick what is the relationship about between Slick and Ron Simmons?. Slick says that this relationship between him and Simmons is strictly a business relationship just like the Public Enemy, because Slick came back for a reason, Slick came back to personally be held responsible for Faarooq not Ron Simmons coming to the World Wrestling Federation and that's why he's been targeting Ahmed Johnson. Slick says that he led the Public Enemy to the WWF Tag Team Titles and now that with Faarooq in his camp, he is going to win the WWF Intercontinental Championship, Slick then announces that there's going to be a Nation coming very soon, let it be known that Slick is going to form his own very club and the Public Enemy and Faarooq will be a part of it and speaking of Public Enemy, they just entered the ring standing beside Faarooq & Slick. Faarooq then speaks and says that Ahmed Johnson should not be the Intercontinental Champion because Ahmed Johnson is just like all these white boys, Faarooq then says that Slick told him that there was absolutely no racism here in the World Wrestling Federation, but now there is because Ahmed Johnson stole his opportunity away from him, And Ahmed's just a plain racist even though he's black, Faarooq believes that Ahmed Johnson is not a fan of black people, nor Native American People, Faarooq looks at McMahon and says that all McMahon has been doing is holding Faarooq down, because 1995. McMahon promised Faarooq a meeting, but he decided to cancel out, why?. Because he was talking to Ahmed Johnson and let him take the waves to the WWF, where does that leave Faarooq?. Faarooq then says that he's going to fight for his people because he was an All-American Football Player in Florida State so that means Ahmed cannot lace his boots, and when the time comes. He is going to take the Intercontinental Title away from Ahmed Johnson. And he will lead the Nation of Domination to greatness. Then suddenly Ahmed Johnson arrives and begins to take down Faarooq and punches away at him but there's Rocco and Grunge and Ahmed fights them off one by one. Ahmed then sees Slick and grabs him and look at this, here comes the Pearl River Plunge. Then suddenly Faarooq whacks Ahmed with his leather belt to the back and look at this Faarooq hits Ahmed again, Faarooq and the Public Enemy begin to beat down on Ahmed and look at this gang mauling, Faarooq begins to club Ahmed several times with that leather belt. Faarooq is just hurting Ahmed here, Slick directs Grunge and Rocco go to the top rope and Grunge and Rocco go to simulteanous top ropes and hit a double splash on the Intercontinental Champion. Ahmed may have been hurt right there. Faarooq then continues to whip Ahmed with the belt once more, Faarooq then grabs Ahmed's Intercontinental Title Belt and screams at Ahmed telling him that soon he will beat him like a government mule. Public Enemy then grab Ahmed into a spinebuster by Faarooq. Faarooq then picks up Ahmed one more time and delivers the dominator on Ahmed. Faarooq and The Public Enemy have totally mauled Ahmed Johnson. Slick then yells at the microphone telling Ahmed that Ahmed will respect Faarooq, Faarooq and The Public Enemy leave the ring as officials begin to check on Ahmed. (break) Backstage. Officials are placing Ahmed Johnson on the stretcher because of the beating Faarooq and the Public Enemy delivered out to Ahmed, just as the medical crew are taking Ahmed to the ambulance. Goldust begins to arrive and informs one of the EMT's that Ahmed needs mouth to mouth. What?. Goldust then begins to lean over Ahmed and OH MY GOD, GOLDUST JUST PLANTED A KISS ON AHMED JOHNSON?!. THAT IS REVOLTING AND DISGUSTING!, What did Goldust do to accomplish that, why did Goldust want to accomplish that?. Goldust begins to run away and look at this Ahmed begins to wake and stand up, Ahmed begins to see the gold paint on his lips and goes crazy, Ahmed flips the stretcher over and begins to look for Goldust. Bob Holly and Fatu enter the fray to try to calm down Ahmed but Ahmed asks where is he then Yokozuna comes in and tells Ahmed that Goldust is at his dressing room right now, Ahmed then looks for Goldust's dressing room and one of the jobbers ask Ahmed that Goldust is not in his room, Ahmed then grabs the Jobber and tosses him into Goldust's door. Ahmed then looks for Goldust and there's no Goldust to be found, but a note is found saying "I want my title back", Ahmed then replies to the note and says to Goldust on camera if he wants his title back, he will face him at Beware of Dog and then after he gets through with Goldust, he's going to go for Faarooq and his whole Nation as well. (break) RAW goes back to a replay just moments ago with Faarooq's Nation destroying Ahmed and also Goldust going too far by planting a kiss on Ahmed Johnson waking him up and why did he accomplish that you ask?, Another Intercontinental Title Shot. So it looks like the stage is set for Beware of Dog, it will be Ahmed vs Goldust for the Intercontinental Title one more time. Match 3: The Undertaker w/Paul Bearer vs Kama Surprisingly you would think that Kama would have Crush in his corner but surprisingly Crush is not in Kama's corner as Kama battles The Undertaker in this one on one encounter. Taker gains the momentum in this contest hitting some hard right hands on Kama but Kama overpowers Undertaker and throws some right hands of his own. Kama whips Taker into the ropes but Undertaker reverses it and nails a high back body drop on Kama. Taker then grabs Kama by the arm and sets up for the ropewalk and connects with it. Taker begins to maul Kama and tosses him over the top rope to the floor. Undertaker then begins to fight with Kama backstage. Taker then tosses Kama back in the ring and sets up for the apron leg drop and connects with it. Undertaker gets back in the ring and as Taker continues to gain the momentum, Crush comes down to ringside and Undertaker sees Crush and that allows Kama to send Undertaker over the top rope with a clothesline. The referee is distracted by Kama and that allows Crush to fight The Undertaker. Crush then tosses Undertaker into the steel steps and Crush then tosses the Phenom back in the ring where Kama begins to continue some more damage on The Undertaker. Kama almost gets the win by hitting a big kick to the face but Undertaker kicks out. Undertaker battles back and hits a few right hands and Undertaker whips Kama into the buckle and hits a clothesline in the corner. He then scoops up Kama and nails the Snake Eyes. Undertaker whips Kama into the ropes and nails him with the big boot. Crush is on the apron but Undertaker gives him a right hand. Taker hits a leg drop on Kama but Kama kicks out. Taker whips Kama into the ropes and sets him up for another backdrop but Kama boots him in the head and nails Undertaker with a piledriver. Kama just piledrove The Undertaker. Kama sets up for the cover but Undertaker kicks out. Kama is so frustrated that he heads to the top rope and Kama goes to the top rope but look at this Undertaker is standing. Taker grabs Kama by the throat as Kama's off the top and Undertaker hits a tremendous chokeslam on Kama, Undertaker then signifies for the end to be at hand. Taker scoops Kama up and nails the Tombstone Piledriver on Kama and Taker pins Kama to get the win and that could be Vader's fate in 20 days at Beware of Dog. Winner: The Undertaker Undertaker begins to celebrate his victory but look at this here comes Mankind on the RAW Stage staring down The Undertaker. Mankind's also had his share of problems with The Undertaker, it looks like Mankind wants to enter the ring to fight The Undertaker but Mankind decides otherwise as he leaves the RAW Stage. McMahon then says that The Undertaker will be here again on Monday Night RAW to be interviewed about his match with Vader, and then also Shawn Michaels will take on Goldust in a Non-Title Match and also Razor Ramon will be here as well. RAW begins to go off the air but as it does, McMahon gets word that a fight is breaking out between Ahmed Johnson and Goldust. Ahmed and Goldust are fighting with officials and referees trying to separate these two, Goldust and Ahmed are still fighting as RAW goes off the air.

- Love 1996 Stone Cold Steve Austin...love that he is quickly turning into the Austin we all know and love...the foul-mouthed Texas Rattlesnake who has a real bad attitude who spits in the face of authority who disrespects authority and Austin now that he is on his own he doesn't need Ted DiBiase he never needed Ted DiBiase he never needed any of The Corporation because he is better than every single last one of them and he has certainly proven it by beating The 1-2-3 Kid right here to open up WWF RAW...I just would have loved it if Austin just started swearing left and right but Austin is ushering us into the Attitude Era slowly but surely especially because he wants more competition better competition and Austin wants it well because no one has been able to beat him ever since he has struck out on his own...Austin getting more cocky and arrogant by the day but that is what makes Steve Austin "Stone Cold"
- Austin issuing an open challenge for any WWF superstar to face him at Beware of Dog IYH PPV and his challenge is answered by none other than The Ultimate Warrior...now this shocks me considering Warrior he lost at the last IYH PPV Gold Rush to Vader and now he wants to step up to Austin...now to be honest this is a match I actually kind of want to see
- WWF Tag Team Champions Bam Bam Bigelow and Skip are quickly becoming cocky ever since winning the titles but then again The Steiner Brothers do have their rematch clause being the former champions but yet how are Bam Bam and Skip being cocky when they haven't even defended those titles since they won it at Gold Rush but as far as Pillman goes I wonder if and when he is 100 percent if Pillman will decide to go after singles gold?
- Ron Simmons in his WWF RAW debut beats a local jobber well I can't say that I am surprised because let's face it this was Faarooq's WWF debut and of course he needed to look strong and of course he did because he dominated this match here from the get go...and of course by doing that Simmons basically sent a message not only to Ahmed Johnson the WWF Intercontinental Champion but he sent a message to the entire locker room at the same time...glad that Ron Simmons has officially changed his name to Faarooq and that he will be going by Faarooq from now on
- Faarooq I would have thought that he would have aligned himself with Clarence Mason and not Slick of all people but I have to wonder what is the connection between Slick and Faarooq? Slick and Faarooq with them it is a business relationship well if that is the case then I wonder what Slick's other clients Public Enemy think of their man Slick aligning himself with Faarooq? Faarooq with some controversial circumstances accusing Ahmed Johnson of being a racist well how does that work when they are the same color they are both African American so I don't get Faarooq's logic...Faarooq in his mind views Ahmed as being "one with the white man" well that makes sense but then out of nowhere Public Enemy come out and align themselves with Faarooq well how does that work when they are both white? Now that Faarooq is in the World Wrestling Federation he is talking about the Nation of Domination so I wonder who will be a part of this Nation? I wonder who will be in it?
- Ahmed Johnson the WWF Intercontinental Champion wasting no time coming out trying to get to Faarooq and instead he walks right into a trap and he ends up being left laying by Faarooq and Public Enemy...now surely Ahmed had to know he was going to walk into a trap but no he just wants Faarooq so bad that he doesn't even realize that he would be walking into a Handicap situation like what the hell was he thinking? Then after Faarooq and company leave and Ahmed is left laying in the ring Goldust shows up out of nowhere and he actually kisses Ahmed Johnson...God was that just more mind games or what the hell was that? Goldust leaves and of course when Ahmed gets up finally he realizes what happened and when he does he is on the warpath I can't blame him
- Goldust wants the WWF Intercontinental Championship back...I mean it is like he is obsessed with the title I mean he lost it at WrestleMania to Ahmed and then he lost his rematch at Gold Rush so why would he get another shot at the title? I mean I thought that it would be Faarooq taking on Ahmed giving him a fresh match-up but now it looks like we are in for yet another Ahmed/Goldust program like honestly I would have thought that it would be over by now
- In the main event Undertaker beats Kama in what I thought was a pretty even back and forth match-up because let's face it it was and even with Crush at ringside and Crush trying to cause distractions it was to no avail as The Undertaker still beats Kama but that just goes to show us that The Undertaker is ready for Vader but I would have thought that Vader would have showed up to cost Taker his match but he didn't or I would have thought that Mankind would have showed up but he didn't either so
- Either way this was a great RAW from start to finish but I wonder why we didn't see any Nitro episodes last week or this week? I mean I thought that you were doing the Monday Night Wars which eventually would lead to the Attitude Era being born

WWF RAW - May 13. 1996 Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler are your hosts for Monday Night RAW, they announce Shawn Michaels will face Goldust in a Non-Title Match, The Undertaker and Vader will confront each other, and Razor Ramon is in action right now as he takes on Bob "Spark Plug" Holly.
Match 1: Razor Ramon vs Bob Holly Razor Ramon has had a new attitude ever since he turned on the fans and Shawn Michaels as he takes on Bob Holly. Razor starts the offense off by just bullying Holly and slapping away at him. Razor whips Holly into the ropes but Holly reverses it and hits a dropkick on Razor. Holly runs off the ropes and takes The Bad Guy over the top rope with a clothesline. Holly then tosses Razor back in the ring where he continues to take control of the match but Razor rakes him in the eyes and whips him into the ropes nailing a clothesline taking him down. Razor then just slaps Holly a few times in the head yelling at Bob Holly like he's yelling at Shawn Michaels. Razor completely dominates Holly until Holly fights back and hits a clothesline and whips him into the ropes nailing a powerslam. Holly goes to the top rope and attempts a cross body but Razor catches him and nails a fall-away slam on Holly. Razor then sets up Holly for the Razor's Edge in which he connects with it. Razor then picks up Holly and hits another Razor's Edge on Holly, but Razor still ain't satisfied. Razor then grabs Holly and hits one more Razor's Edge and Razor goes for the cover, 1. 2. 3. And Razor completely dominates Holly with three Razor Edge's. Winner: Razor Ramon What a dominating victory for the Bad Guy totally destroying Bob Holly, like we said Razor Ramon has had a new attitude ever since he turned on Shawn Michaels at Beware of Dog. Razor then begins to leave the arena, but before he does, he goes under the ring and grabs a ladder, the ladder that will be used at Beware of Dog. Holly gets up but look at this Razor drills the ladder right into Holly's head. Razor puts the Ladder down and picks up Holly setting him up for the Razor's Edge one more time and Razor drills Holly with the Razor's Edge one more time right on the ladder injuring Holly's back. Razor then spits in Holly's face as well and leaves the ring,
Dok Hendrix does the Beware of Dog report with five matches happening and then talks about the WWF Intercontinental Championship Match between Ahmed Johnson and Goldust with clips of last week shown of Faarooq confronting Ahmed Johnson talking about that there was a new Nation of Domination and Ahmed coming out to try to attack Faarooq, but he was also attacked by Faarooq and Public Enemy, then followed up by Goldust planting a revolting and disgusting kiss on Ahmed Johnson, and followed up with Ahmed waking up finding Goldust only for Ahmed to find a note saying that Goldust wanted his title back, comments are from Goldust. Goldust said that last week, he tasted the sensation, he tasted the temptation, he tasted the luscious taste and that was the chocolate lips of Ahmed Johnson as Goldust is eating a bite of a chocolate candy bar. Goldust says that when he kissed Ahmed Johnson, it felt good, and now Ahmed must deliver something to him, and that is the Intercontinental Championship, but Goldust believes that Ahmed is just a little distracted with Faarooq, but don't worry because Goldust is going to ease that distraction and tension away from Ahmed, because once Goldust takes the Intercontinental Title, Ahmed will feel like a new man without it and he will never forget the name of Goldust. (break) Match 2: Hunter Hearst Helmsley vs Derek Stone Hunter Hearst Helmsley has been having some problems with Marc Mero recently that he takes his frustration out on Stone. Stone gets a little bit of offense on Helmsley but Helmsley battles back and takes Stone down with the Pedigree to get the victory. Winner: Hunter Hearst Helmsley Helmsley picks up the microphone and then talks about Marc Mero and Sable. Helmsley says that he has a proposition for Marc Mero, if Mero wins, he gets to keep Sable, but if Helmsley wins, then he gets Sable for the night, Helmsley says that he is going to make a man out of Mero and Sable will be ready for a real man like the 1995 King of The Ring Winner, because everyone knows Marc Mero cannot keep up in the sheets with Sable. Helmsley tells Mero that he will see Mero at Beware of Dog. (break) Match 3: Tag Team Match Yokozuna and Fatu vs Jerry Fox and Bruno Detista We haven't seen this team of Yokozuna and Fatu in a long while as they take on Fox and Detista. Yokozuna and Fatu completely squash this team as Yokozuna puts Detista away with the Banzai Drop to get the victory, and what a win for Yokozuna and Fatu on their return to Monday Night RAW. Winners: Yokozuna and Fatu (break) RAW returns to break with Vince McMahon ready to interview The Undertaker and Paul Bearer in where they make their way out to the ring. Lawler says that he guarantees that this may be the last time we may see The Undertaker on RAW after Vader gets through with The Undertaker at Beware of Dog. McMahon first talks about what happened at WrestleMania 12. McMahon praises The Undertaker for his unbelievable performance against Vader, apparently no one has ever tested The Undertaker at any WrestleMania like Vader had done, but despite all the Vader Bombs, The Powerbombs, And Vader throwing everything but the kitchen sink, The Phenom somehow managed to survive, but now at Beware of Dog, the re-match is going to happen and this time, it will be physically brutal, because this match will be No Disqualifactions, No Countouts, the only way to win the match is by pinfall or submission. McMahon asks The Undertaker if he will be ready to go back to war with Vader. Bearer is the first to speak and says that at WrestleMania, no man had ever destroyed The Undertaker the way Vader did, Bearer says that Vader really is a big man and just last year he made waves in the World Wrestling Federation like no one before winning the WWF Championship at Survivor Series, and eliminating his Undertaker at the Royal Rumble Match which was a grave mistake, but at WrestleMania. Vader found out the way never to cross the dead and yes, The Undertaker was tested, but still everyone in the World Wrestling Federation has tried to take The Undertaker down, but it didn't happen, because The Undertaker is still standing. McMahon then asks about how The Undertaker's been targeted recently by a strange individual who made waves in his debut and that man is Mankind and literally Mankind's been referring to Paul Bearer as Uncle Paul. Bearer admits that Mankind is indeed his uncle, but when he attacked The Undertaker it was something he should not have done, Because what Mankind said is true, Paul Bearer really is Mankind's uncle, but he is not a family member to him, him and The Undertaker saved Mankind from his mother and father when they locked him away all his years as a teenager in the basement and even forced him to leave school and college for good, and it was that moment that he needed their help, but how does Mankind repay them, by attacking The Undertaker. Bearer says that he does regret helping Mankind and he does regret calling him his uncle, Taker then speaks and says that when he saw a helpless man get shamelessly hurt by his mother and father, they knew that they had to help him, but now him being in the WWF is just not good enough to help him. Taker says that ever since they helped Mankind. Mankind just didn't fit in with them, so before he came to the WWF, they sent Mankind back to where he belonged, then Taker moves on to Vader saying that at WrestleMania, Vader did give him the fight of his life, a fight that tried to stop The Undertaker's dominance at WrestleMania. But in the end, Vader like all the others in the WWF failed, and now at Beware of Dog, Undertaker says that it's indeed No Holds Barred and it is indeed the final days of Vader because Vader has dominated the WWF like never before, there has never been a force like Vader and when he became the WWF Champion, he had the world rested upon his shoulders. But now it's time to face what is good and evil. Vader's time in the WWF is falling through the sands of the hourglass and after Beware of Dog, the hourglass will be empty. Then suddenly the crowd see someone as Taker continues to speak and McMahon cuts him off saying that Vader and Jim Cornette have arrived. Undertaker senses that Vader is coming to fight him so he takes off his coat and hat. Vader sees Undertaker take off his gear so he begins to get in the ring and just as Undertaker begins to make his move. Mankind appears through the crowd and attacks The Undertaker. Mankind is just beating on The Undertaker and then Vader comes out to help Mankind fight The Undertaker. Taker tries to fight off the odds but is once again taken down. Mankind then applies that Mandible Claw on The Undertaker while Vader splashes The Undertaker down to the mat, this was a setup, a setup orchestrated by Jim Cornette, also Owen Hart and British Bulldog come in to watch The Undertaker being beaten down, Mankind lets go of the hold, Mankind and Vader stand untop of The Undertaker's body and Mankind begins to leave the ring but look at this Vader is not leaving the ring, he still wants to beat on The Undertaker some more, he wants to make sure The Undertaker never makes it to Beware of Dog. Vader goes to the top rope setting up for the Vader Bomb, but just as Vader climbs the ropes. Undertaker begins to sit up and Paul Bearer just handed Undertaker a Steel Chair. Vader doesn't see Undertaker get up and Undertaker surprises Vader with a chair shot to the back and Vader goes down and falls to the outside. Owen and Bulldog get in the ring but Undertaker with that steel chair keeps both Owen and Bulldog at bay. Owen and Bulldog then help Vader up as Undertaker begins to get out of the ring and he is stalking all three of them as RAW goes back to a break. (break) RAW goes back to a replay with Vader and Mankind attacking The Undertaker, but the attack did not faze The Undertaker one bit as he surprised Vader with a massive chair shot to the back as Vader attempted to go to the top rope. Lawler says that The Undertaker may have gotten one over Vader, but at Beware of Dog, he's not going to be so lucky. Match 4: Non-Title Match Shawn Michaels vs Goldust W/Marlena A good matchup here to end Monday Night RAW as the Heartbreak Kid takes on Goldust in a non-title match. HBK starts out with some good offense on Goldust and after HBK begins to toss Goldust out of the ring. Marlena begins to distract Michaels and tries to slap him but Michaels catches it and plants a lip-lock on Marlena. Shawn Michaels just delivered a lip lock on Goldust's wife. Goldust tries to charge at Shawn but Shawn hits another right hand knocking down Goldust. Shawn then sets up for Sweet Chin Music but Goldust backs away, Michaels then hits a suicide dive on Goldust and tosses Goldust back in the ring where Goldust fights back against Michaels. Goldust continues to work on the back of the Heartbreak Kid, then we see Razor Ramon backstage watching this match liking what he's seeing as Goldust continues to go to work on The Heartbreak Kid. Goldust nearly gets some pinfall attempts on HBK but Shawn is able to kick out. Shawn battles back but Goldust knocks him down with a powerslam and then locks on the sleeper on Shawn Michaels which Shawn fights out of it and makes a comeback in this match by hitting his signature flying forearm followed up by the bodyslam and drops the elbow, Shawn once again tries the Sweet Chin Music but Goldust grabs Shawn by the legs and hits a DDT on Shawn, and that could give Goldust a big victory here over the WWF Champion. Goldust goes for the cover but Shawn is able to kick out. Goldust then sets Shawn up for a piledriver but Shawn backdrops Goldust over the top rope to the floor and what a great matchup this has been between Shawn Michaels and Goldust. Goldust then gets up and begins to back off, but wait a minute Ahmed Johnson is here and look at this. Ahmed grabs Goldust by the throat and tosses him straight in the ring. Goldust then stares down Ahmed only for Shawn to nail Goldust with Sweet Chin Music. Shawn sets up to cover Goldust and Shawn gets the win over the Bizarre One. Winner: Shawn Michaels The Heartbreak Kid continues to put on a great performance once again and continues to dazzle the WWF fans as he gets another non-title win over Goldust, Just as HBK begins to celebrate, he stares down on the entryway and Razor Ramon is on the entryway with the Ladder in hand. Razor then gets untop of it and climbs the ladder but the question remains who will climb the ladder at Beware of Dog and will Razor Ramon make good on his promise and take the WWF Championship to another organization, will the WWF Championship we've seen for 33 years be taken away for good in the WWF?. McMahon and Lawler tell us that next week that Ultimate Warrior will team up with Marc Mero to take on Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Steve Austin and Mankind will be in action as he takes on Savio Vega, RAW goes off the air with Razor untop of the ladder signaling for the belt.

- Razor Ramon sending a strong message to the WWF Champion The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels the man who he is going to be facing at IYH: Beware of Dog in a Ladder Match by beating Bob Spark Plug Holly but beating him convincingly and decisively with not one not two but 3 Razor's Edges and then on top of that using a Ladder as a weapon on Bob Holly post match and then spitting on Holly...just goes to show you that Razor is living up to his nickname of being The Bad Guy but could he become the next WWF Champion? Could Razor become WWF Champion again for the 2nd time?
- Nothing more than Goldust playing mind games or trying to play mind games with the WWF Intercontinental Champion Ahmed Johnson but Ahmed is clearly focused on Faarooq and The Nation of Domination which could come back to haunt Ahmed because with him so focused on them it leaves open the door for Goldust to take back the WWF Intercontinental Championship but I am sure Ahmed Johnson is watching this and if he is I am sure he is so anxious so ready to get his hands on Goldust but they are facing off at IYH: Beware of Dog with the WWF Intercontinental Championship being on the line but who has the upper hand? Goldust does but I wonder if we could see a shift in momentum soon
- Hunter Hearst Helmsley facing and beating a jobber I mean you obviously want to keep Hunter strong especially considering lately he has been losing match after match but then him challenging Mero to a match at IYH: Beware of Dog and if Mero wins he keeps Sable but if Hunter wins he gets Sable for the night I mean that's high stakes considering Sable is Mero's wife his other half and if he loses that match could you imagine if his wife Sable has to be with Hunter? But will Mero accept the challenge though that's the thing and I wonder what Sable thinks about all this?
- Yokozuna & Fatu as a tag team I still can't even believe that sometimes these 2 are a tag team but it makes sense considering their familial connection that biologically they are cousins since Yokozuna is an Anoa'i and so is Fatu he too is an Anoa'i both a part of the Samoan wrestling family that is the Anoa'i family so to see them as a team it actually kind of makes sense but then to see Yokozuna and Fatu beating a jobber tag team in their return obviously you want to keep them strong as a tag team but with that in mind I wonder where this leaves Yokozuna and Fatu as far as the WWF Tag Team division is concerned here in this New Generation?
- Mankind being related to Paul Bearer...making him Paul Bearer's nephew was actually pretty weird to say the least but then again hearing the backstory behind it all with him, Taker and Bearer I am just surprised by it all but then again to see Undertaker get attacked by not only Mankind but Vader and Bulldog and Owen all showing up to attack Taker I was wondering if anyone would make the save for The Undertaker but no one did but instead Taker somehow overcomes the odds with a steel chair given to him by Paul Bearer and with that chair hits Vader with it but then Bulldog, Owen and Mankind all going off in retreat I mean it makes me wonder what we could be in store for at IYH: Beware of Dog
- WWF Champion Shawn Michaels in the main event beats Goldust...well big assist goes to Ahmed Johnson who basically showed up to even the odds for Shawn especially when Goldust was on his way to the victory but with that I was expecting Razor to show up during the match to cost Michaels the match but he didn't but instead shows up post match Ladder in hand as he climbs the ladder...symbolic of their match at IYH: Beware of Dog considering they are facing each other in a Ladder Match and if Razor wins the title he even as much said it himself that he is taking that title to WCW but Piper the WWF President said that if Razor even tried to do that that he would strip Razor of the title I mean he can do that because he is the President

BREAKING: HBK, HELMSLEY, RAZOR AND DIESEL ALL BREAK KAYFABE May 19. 1996 WWF Owner Vince McMahon is at an outrage of what happened at Madison Square Garden between WWF Champion Shawn Michaels, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Razor Ramon and Diesel, apparently fan footage is shown of Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Razor Ramon, Diesel and Shawn Michaels hugging each other after Shawn Michaels had battled Diesel and Razor Ramon in a Triple Threat Steel Cage Match for the WWF Title with Shawn winning the match, Hunter Hearst Helmsley came out after the match and all four of them hugged each other, the speculation is that both Diesel (Kevin Nash) and Razor Ramon (Scott Hall) are both leaving WWF to go to WCW, but Hall's last match is scheduled to be at Beware of Dog against Shawn Michaels in a Ladder Match for the WWF Title, Hall in Storyline has threatened to take the World Wrestling Federation Championship, but in reality he plans on not taking the WWF Championship to WCW. Diesel has not been seen on TV, so he plans on going to WCW straight before Hall leaves as well. it seems like Diesel is officially gone from the World Wrestling Federation, but as far as punishment goes, WWF has decided not to punish Shawn Michaels nor Kevin Nash nor Scott Hall, because Shawn Michaels is officially the WWF Champion and Kevin Nash and Scott Hall are both headed to WCW, but additional punishment has been handed out to Hunter Hearst Helmsley, As far as Helmsley's punishment goes, he will not be fired or suspended but his push is on hold for a while. There are also WWF Superstars saying that all four men broke "kayfabe" traditionally. Cause of their friendship, another person who was with the four men was with Sean Waltman known as The 123 Kid, he was at Madison Square Garden taking on Mankind where he lost that match, but did not appear for undisclosed reasons, Waltman is also planning on leaving the WWF as well, but they still want The Kid to stay around in the World Wrestling Federation for a while until his contract expires in July. But all in all, this is serious business, WWF officials, even superstars and everyone are shocked at this outcome, that all four men had to break kayfabe in the World's Most Famous Arena, Vince McMahon has stated not to mention this on WWF Programming because it will be a disaster if that were to happen. We will find out more information if this follows through.

- The Curtain Call finally happens and now that it has more or less it has only just begun the Monday Night Wars with WWF and WCW...because in real life the Curtain Call Incident is basically what set up the Monday Night Wars because Hall and Nash they ended up leaving for WCW and Shawn Michaels ended up staying in WWF and so did Hunter but Hunter out of the 4 of them he was the one who was punished the most especially if you watch Triple H's 1999 shoot interview with Jim Ross
- Plus the Curtain Call Incident forever changed the very foundation of WWF and WCW because of the fact that it set up the Monday Night Wars but also because of this the nWo was born and DX was born
