WWF RAW IS WAR - November 24. 1997
Before the show begins, we see a cemetery in where we see The Undertaker dressed in a Biker Coat and Bandana holding a shovel. Taker starts speaking saying that he's come to this gravesite for Shawn Michaels's last thirteen days on earth. As for what Shawn did at Survivor Series. Shawn will have to attone to for his actions, Taker says that he let Shawn get away twice with his soul in the 2 PPVs they first battled in, the first one was Ground Zero, then the next one was Hell in A Cell. But everyone remembers when he beat Shawn to a bloody pulp inside that cell. And the fact that Shawn still survived and breathed was because of his baby brother Kane. But now, the rules will change. In 13 days at D-Generation X. Shawn Michaels's soul will belong to The Undertaker. Taker says that he's here to cleanse the evil of not only Shawn Michaels, not only DX, But Vince McMahon. Taker says that he will not hold back. First, he's going to beat Shawn down to a bloody pulp. Maybe he'll rip the heart and flesh off of Shawn Michaels's skin. And then maybe he'll probably feed it to Shawn's good friend Triple H or maybe Chyna, either way. When that's all said and done, and then he's going to make him bleed like he did at Bad Blood, and then to top everything off. He is going to bury Shawn alive. Undertaker says that the WWF Championship must be worn by respect and Shawn Michaels hasn't earned any respect to the WWF Championship. But there's been one man that has won the belt three times and has respected it more than anything, The Undertaker. Undertaker says that he's had ups and downs in 1997, winning the Royal Rumble, the WWF Title at WrestleMania 13 and his brother Kane coming to the WWF. Taker says that he did not expect Kane to come to his rescue last week. Because he did the same for Kane when he saved him from all these Superstars to the WWF that Kane destroyed, Taker says that deep down he will not fight his brother, but he wants his brother to come with him so that they can cleanse the world of D-Generation X once and for all and send them to their final damnation and also that he's going to be there tonight cause he's got a surprise in store for D-Generation X. Taker then begins to shovel the grave and says that at D-Generation X. Shawn Michaels is not going to be resting in peace, instead he is going to make sure that Shawn Michaels is going to be enjoying eternal hell. Taker rolls his eyes and begins to shovel the dirt as the RAW intro begins.
Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler are your hosts for Monday Night RAW. Ross talks about the opening segment of The Undertaker playing mind games on D-Generation X and that he would be in the building tonight and that he would be in action as he goes one on one with one half of the WWF Tag Team Champions, Billy Gunn. And also Shawn Michaels will be here tonight to address his match with The Undertaker.
Stone Cold's music hits as he makes his way out to the ring with the Intercontinental Championship Belt. And Austin is in a foul mood after what happened between him, Jeff Jarrett and Dan "The Beast" Severn. Austin was supposed to defend the Intercontinental Title against The Beast, but an attack by Jeff Jarrett and Dan Severn left Austin laid out last week. Austin gets in the ring with a microphone in hand. Austin says that last week Jeff Jarrett and Dan Severn decided to put his hands on Stone Cold Steve Austin and that was the biggest mistake they ever made in their life. Austin says he's here tonight to whoop somebody's ass and it may be Jeff Jarrett and Dan Severn or anyone else. Austin says that he is not leaving the ring until somebody comes out here whether it's Jarrett, Severn, Jim Cornette, Vince McMahon or anybody else. Come on out here. Austin waits for somebody, but he suddenly hears Kurrgan's music as he comes out with the Jackal. And it looks like Jackal also has a referee with him, Jackal has a microphone saying that if Stone Cold Steve Austin wants a fight and a match tonight, then why not face the big man Kurrgan here tonight. And if Austin has the balls, he can put the Intercontinental Championship on the line here tonight. Austin says that he's not scared of Kurrgan. If Kurrgan wants an ass whooping he's got one.
Match 1:
WWF Intercontinental Championship Match
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Kurrgan w/Jackal
Austin still dressed in street clothes must take on this 350-pound monster Kurrgan. Kurrgan was undefeated for a while in the spring but lost his undefeated streak to Ahmed Johnson a few months ago. Austin hammers away at Kurrgan with all he's got and as Austin runs off the ropes. Kurrgan hits a big boot on the Rattlesnake knocking Austin down. Kurrgan has all the momentum in this matchup and tries to bring Austin down but Austin battles back against Kurrgan and eventually brings the big man down with a flying clothesline. Kurrgan gets to his feet only to recieve a Stunner, but he doesn't go off his feet. Austin hits another stunner but again Kurrgan doesn't go down. And Austin hits one more Stunner and this time Kurrgan finally goes down. Austin covers Kurrgan to get the win and retain the Intercontinental Championship.
Winner and Still Intercontinental Champion: Stone Cold Steve Austin
After The Match as Austin begins to celebrate. Jeff Jarrett runs down to the ring and attacks Austin with a steel chair to the back and Jarrett then grabs the Intercontinental Title and look at this, Jarrett is leaving the ring with the Intercontinental Title Belt. Jarrett has stolen Austin's Intercontinental Title. Austin stirs and comes to and sees that Jarrett has his Intercontinental Title Belt that he begins to chase him. The Commentators also announce that Jeff Jarrett will be in action to take on Mankind later tonight.

Match 2:
Marc Mero w/Sable vs Bart Gunn
Marc Mero has been equally jealous lately of people looking at Sable. Last week, it was Steve Blackman and Marc Mero put his hands on him after Mero was defeated by the Lethal Weapon Steve Blackman, it's also announced that a match has been made for D-Generation X between Blackman and Mero. Gunn gets some good offense in despite being a veteran in this business, as you can also tell Gunn was also attacked by The Undertaker and Kane last week in that brawl between 6 of the WWF Superstars against The Undertaker and Kane, Mero gets the win by hitting the TKO on Gunn to get the victory after using a low blow behind the referee's back.
Winner: Marc Mero
And after the match, Mero begins to attack Gunn when suddenly Steve Blackman appears and Mero begins to retreat from the ring. What a war that is going to be between Steve Blackman and Marc Mero at D-Generation X. That should be a good one.
We go to the locker room of Ken Shamrock with Ross announcing that at D-Generation X. Ken Shamrock will face Hunter Hearst Helmsley for the WWF European Championship. Shamrock says that it's good because for far too long he's been in the WWF and he's seen Shawn Michaels and Triple H make fun of everyone, 2 weeks ago, he was this close on becoming the World Wrestling Federation Champion and make Shawn Michaels tap out but it was Triple H that cost him the WWF Championship, But at D-Generation X. He has an opportunity to make Hunter Hearst Helmsley tap out and win the European Title and that will be a bad night for DX not only when he makes Hunter tap out but he gets to watch The Undertaker bury Shawn Michaels alive.
(break)
Backstage, Stone Cold Steve Austin is looking for Jeff Jarrett as Austin has seemingly taken possession of the Intercontinental Championship of Jeff Jarrett. Austin begins screaming at Jarrett saying that he's going to whip Jarrett's ass and take that title back.
Back in the commentators seat, Jim Ross says that earlier today he had the chance to talk to Mick Foley about Terry Funk. Earlier today, we see Jim Ross talking to Mick Foley about the rivalry and the issue he's had with Terry Funk. Foley says that he and Funk have been friends for a long time, their history goes all the way back in 1994 to ECW. But he can't understand why Funk snapped like that, it's because what had been happening in 1996 when Foley destroyed Terry Funk so badly, and then at WrestleMania 13. They put on the best damn match in their career, the Chicago Street Fight, whatever's happened with Funk. He's not all in there, he is now sadistic and when Foley busted him open, Terry enjoyed it. Well he hopes that Terry did enjoy it, because the same thing is happening at D-Generation X when Mankind returns to face Terry Funk, and he doesn't want Vince McMahon or anyone to be held accountable when he faces Terry Funk at D-Generation X. He doesn't want the match sanctioned at all. He wants it to be unsanctioned. No Rules, No Disqualifactions, No Countouts. It must end when one man can't go. And he hopes Funk is able to accept it because just like WrestleMania 13 what Mankind did to Funk will be nothing compared to the more pain that Mankind's going to do to Funk.
Returning to ringside, The Commentators take us to Terry Funk backstage. Funk says that he saw what Mick Foley said to J.R., And Foley's right. He is sadistic, he's been that way for 32 years, he's been that Hardcore man. He's stepped up to the likes of everyone and he's made them bleed. So if Foley doesn't want Vince McMahon or the WWF to be held responsible for what they do to each other. Then he agrees with Foley. Funk says that he is going to beat Mankind to shreds and shreds and hurts him and makes sure he is out of the WWF for good.

Match 3:
Super Loco vs Jinsei Shinzaki
Another great Light Heavyweight Encounter as we haven't seen Jinsei Shinzaki formerly known as Hakushi when he was in the WWF in 1995. But he's returned to wrestle for the Light Heavyweight Division. Shinzaki and Loco put on a good match, but in the end it's Super Loco that has the victory by hitting a moonsault off the top rope to get the victory.
Winner: Super Loco
(break)
Match 4:
Billy Gunn w/Road Dogg vs The Undertaker
We saw The Undertaker earlier on tonight as he was digging a grave for Shawn Michaels. But tonight, he goes one on one with one half of the WWF Tag Team Champions Billy Gunn. Billy tries to get into a slugfest with Undertaker punching away at him and hitting a dropkick but Undertaker doesn't go down as Taker throws him down to the buckle with right hands and body shots on one half of the former Tag Team Champions. Taker whips Gunn into the ropes and hits a back body drop and follows it up with a clothesline. Undertaker runs off the ropes and goes for an elbow drop but Gunn rolls out of the way. Gunn then punches away at Undertaker only for Taker to block it and hit him with a right hand and Taker knocks him down with a uppercut and grabs the arm and hits the modified ropewalk taking him down. Gunn is able to fight back after a distraction by the Road Dogg. He brings Undertaker down with powerful moves hitting a swinging neckbreaker, a flapjack and a powerslam but none of them are able to put Taker down. Taker fights back in the match and goes for a chokeslam on Gunn but Gunn kicks him in the gut and grabs Undertaker and hits a modified jackhammer on the Phenom. Gunn goes for the cover but Undertaker kicks out at 2. Gunn goes to the top rope but Undertaker grabs him by the throat and Road Dogg tries to come in to attack but Undertaker kicks him in the face while he's holding Gunn. Undertaker chokeslams Gunn to the mat and Taker sees Road Dogg up and Taker knocks him out of the ring with a Clothesline. Taker picks him up and nails him with the Tombstone Piledriver to pick up the win.
Winner: The Undertaker
After the Match. Road Dogg gets in the ring but Undertaker knocks him down and whips him off the ropes and goes for a Chokeslam but Gunn gets back up and hits Undertaker with a dropkick and now the New Age Outlaws are bringing Undertaker down to the mat. They then whip him off the ropes and hit a double flapjack taking him down. Then as the Outlaws have the upper hand, the lights go out in the arena as Kane's music plays. What does Kane want?. Does Kane want to attack The Undertaker again?. We know Kane and The Undertaker both saved each other last week. Kane gets in the ring and it looks like he's helping The Undertaker again. Kane hits Gunn and Dogg with uppercuts. Undertaker gets to his feet and look at this, both brothers are attacking the New Age Outlaws. Undertaker grabs Dogg by the throat and chokeslams him to the mat while Kane does the same thing to Billy. Kane then picks Billy up and tombstones him to the mat while Undertaker does the same thing to Road Dogg as Kane watches. Undertaker begins to leave the ring while Kane is standing in the ring. What is going on between The Undertaker and Kane?. Undertaker stares down Kane as RAW takes a commercial break.
Backstage, Goldust is talking to somebody as he says he's got a big surprise for the fans tonight as it looks like he's in a mental institution gown with a nurse doctor.
(break)
Goldust makes his way to the ring being wheeled out with Michael Cole talking to him. Michael Cole says that last week on RAW. He took on Sycho Sid, it all stemmed the night after Survivor Series when Goldust lost to Kane and ever since then. Goldust had been on a downward spiral. Goldust says that he's an embelant and that means three days ago, that chokeslam broke his neck and now he's a paraplegic. And they can laugh all they want and this morning, he couldn't move an inch on his body, so he's a quadrplegic and he doesn't know if Goldust is 100% and it pisses him off. Goldust says that the fans would love to see Goldust back in the ring. The commentators are appalled by Goldust's disgusting actions. Goldust says that if his nursing buddy would love to rub Alcohol on his shoulders. Goldust says that he wants to thank the fans for his support, the letters and the prayers and that he appreciates it, then Sycho Sid's music plays in the arena as he comes out. Sid says that he doesn't believe in Goldust's crap. He doesn't believe in Goldust's injury. He thinks Goldust is a sycho and he should be put down permanately. Sid begins to attack Goldust but wait a minute the nurse begins to hit the rubbing alcohol on Sid and Goldust gets up to his feet and starts to attack Sid with that rubbing alcohol and Sid can't defend himself and Goldust throws Sid into the steel steps, but wait a minute, the nurse has revealed to be Luna Vachon. We haven't seen Luna since 1994. Goldust and Luna walk together with Luna saying "The Bitch is Back". Then suddenly Vader runs to the ring and begins to chase Goldust and Luna out of the building.
(break)
Match 5:
The Rock w/The Nation of Domination vs Vader
Vader was already in the ring helping out Sid, but this should be an entertaining match between the former WWF Champion Vader and The Rock. And Vader begins to take his frustrations out on The Rock. Vader has not been seen since the Survivor Series. Vader starts to overpower The Rock in the opening moments of the contest but The Rock fights back in the middle of the match. And there's Dan Severn with Jim Cornette watching. Apparently Vader and Dan Severn have not settled their differences lately as the commentators say that Vader and Severn will clash at D-Generation X. Vader fights back in this match and even fends off the rest of the Nation on the outside, but as the referee is checking on The Rock. Vader attempts to hit The Rock with a powerbomb and he does and then sets up for the Vaderbomb but as the referee is distracted by Faarooq. Dan Severn enters the ring and hits Vader with a boot to the face. The Rock gets to his feet and nails Vader with the Rock Bottom followed by the modified elbow to get the victory and The Rock has pinned another former WWF Champion but not without controversy.
Winner: The Rock
Backstage, Jeff Jarrett is walking to the ring for his match with Mankind with Jarrett having the Intercontinental Championship Belt around his waist smiling. But another camera sees Stone Cold Steve Austin still backstage hunting for Double J.
(break)
Backstage, The Commentators take us to Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Michaels says that tonight he's going to be talking about burying The Undertaker alive, but he does have a big surprise for everyone because he has it on good authority that Bret Hart will be here tonight and if Bret does come here tonight. He's going to look Bret in the eyes and say that he beat him at Survivor Series and he's going to beat him up here tonight and send him out of the WWF for good.
Match 6:
Jeff Jarrett w/Dan Severn and Jim Cornette vs Mankind
Jarrett is wearing the Intercontinental Title Belt still around his waist as he will take on Mankind. Jarrett and Mankind lock it up in the ring with Mankind gaining the advantage. Jarrett and Mankind will have big matches at D-Generation X as Jarrett will challenge Stone Cold Steve Austin for the Intercontinental Championship and Mankind will take on Terry Funk in an unsanctioned match that should be very brutal. Mankind gets the advantage and hits a neckbreaker on the floor taking down Jarrett. Jarrett battles back and hits a big back body drop on Mankind on the apron as Mankind charges at him. Jarrett begins to take it to Mankind with uppercuts and dropkicks and a backbody drop. Mankind battles back but Jarrett hits a neckbreaker taking Mankind down. Jarrett then sets up for a piledriver but Mankind backdrops him over the top rope to the floor and what a match between these two men. Mankind tries to take Jarrett into the steel steps but Jarrett counters it and throws him straight into the steel steps. Jarrett then tosses Mankind back in the ring, but Mankind fights back and hits a knee to the face followed by a clothesline. Mankind then sets up for the Mandible Claw on Jarrett but wait a minute Jarrett rolls Mankind up and look he's got the tights. Jarrett just beat Mankind.
Winner: Jeff Jarrett
After the Match, Mankind begins to fight back against Jarrett by beating him up, but wait a minute here comes Terry Funk. Funk gets in the ring to go after Mankind but Mankind sees him and fights back against Funk and sends Funk out of the ring with a clothesline and himself over the top rope. Mankind and Funk begin to fight against the barricade, it's a warzone between these two. Jarrett begins to still celebrate his win but wait a minute here comes Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin runs to the ring to attack Jarrett. Austin begins to beat Jarrett down. Severn gets in the ring but he gets knocked off the apron. Austin whips Jarrett into the ropes and hits a back body drop and Austin tries to get the Intercontinental Belt off of Jarrett but Severn hits him with a right hand and Severn helps Jarrett retreat out of the ring. Austin grabs a microphone and tells Jarrett to have himself a good thanksgiving but here's a little bird for Double J to enjoy. Austin flips Jarrett the bird it looks like Jarrett will be taking the Intercontinental Title with him tonight.
Backstage, D-Generation X are on their way to the ring. Is Bret Hart really going to be here tonight?. Will he show up?.
(break)
Backstage, D-Generation X make their way to the ring. Triple H is the first to speak saying that D-Generation X will have theirselves a big night and he says that Ken Shamrock can come out and make people's ankles break and stuff like that. But remember, Helmsley has a big ankle and there's no way that Shamrock can break it. He's going to end this fairy tale that is Ken Shamrock and then mentions that Shamrock won the King of The Ring last June, well at D-Generation X. He's going to be taking on the real King of The Ring and he's going to beat Shamrock and retain the European Championship and that Shamrock's old lady with laryngitis will be in Triple H's hotel room. Shawn Michaels then picks up the microphone and says that since Survivor Series, he has not gotten any sleep. There's a lot of controversy surrounding what happened at Survivor Series. He never thought that it would end that way. Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels have had their differences, personally and professionally. But never that he planned that it would come to an end. Shawn says that he wants the world to know that he takes full and total responsbility for what happened in Montreal, The world needs to know that Bret Hart is still under contract with the WWF until November 30, 1997. Shawn says that he doesn't care what The Undertaker says and what anybody else says. Bret Hart deserved better, and now he's being punished and persecuted by the fans and they want to see Shawn Michaels in a grave six feet under well the fact of the matter is. The only person that should've been six feet under was what should've happened in Montreal. Vince McMahon himself should have been six feet under. Michaels says that Vince McMahon and the WWF deserve better, Michaels wants everyone to know that Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels have finally had contact with each other without the knowledge of Media or Vince McMahon or the Internet or the Underground Dirt Sheet writers, he's contacted Bret and he's spoke to him and Bret and him have an agreement and an arrangement. Shawn says that Bret Hart is here tonight and he wants to bury the hatchet and wants to settle this once and for all. It's up to Bret, it could end with a handshake or it can end with a fight and everyone knows that Shawn will kick Bret's teeth down his throat. But before he brings Bret out, that brings him to The Undertaker. Shawn says that he watched that footage tonight of The Undertaker making a gravesite for him, but at D-Generation X. Everyone knows The Undertaker will not take Shawn Michaels's heart. What Shawn is going to do is drive a knife to The Undertaker's back and then at that point. He will bury him alive just like he did at Bad Blood. Shawn says that the last time he and The Undertaker fought, he was a bloody mess. But he was saved by a guardian angel by the name of The Undertaker's brother Kane but what did that Guardian Angel do last week?. He chokeslammed Shawn straight to hell. Shawn says that what he also saw was what Kane & Undertaker did to the New Age Outlaws. If there's an alliance between Kane and The Undertaker, then who's to say D-Generation X will break that alliance, and at D-Generation X. The Undertaker's WWF Career will finally be buried six feet under, and now. Everyone heard the rumours, the innuendo, it's time to put it all aside once and for all. Tonight, the controversy comes to a end. Michaels introduces Bret "The Hitman" Hart. The fans begin to go nuts thinking that Bret is here as his music hits in the arena but wait a minute it's not Bret Hart. It's a midget of Bret Hart. Helmsley says that it's cold in Canada, but not really cold in the Carolinas. Helmsley then makes fun of Bret saying that Bret was short on talent, DX just swerved and pulled one over on the fans once again. And as Bret charges at Shawn. Helmsley tells everyone that he's going to set the stage for him. 18 Months in the making. Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart at Survivor Series, the match is going on. Shawn has a lead in the situation, Bret coming up short on the offense. And all of a sudden, Bret goes down flat on his back. Shawn grabs the midget Bret by the legs and goes for the sharpshooter while Helmsley picks up the microphone and look at the Midget Bret tapping out. Helmsley screams at the Midget Bret saying who's the man and the icon. The Midget says "Shawn Michaels". Helmsley then says the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be. Shawn Michaels. And also Helmsley says who the powerful force in the WWF is today, Midget Hart says "DX". Shawn lets the Sharpshooter go, and just as Shawn and Helmsley are beginning to celebrate. Someone comes from the crowd and tackles Shawn Michaels, It's OWEN HART!. Owen Hart is back. Owen Hart is assaulting Shawn Michaels. Owen goes right for Shawn. Shawn and Helmsley try to retreat out of the ring but Owen still goes after him. Owen takes Shawn down and punches away at him. The Crowd is on their feet chanting for Owen. Look at the anger and frustration that has been built, 15 days ago. Shawn Michaels put his brother Bret out of the WWF and Owen is taking that rage out on Shawn Michaels and D-Generation X. Officials and referees try to stop Owen from going too far and even Vince McMahon is out here and Owen and Vince begin to have words. Owen grabs Vince and just punches him and Vince goes down on the mat. The fans cheer for what Owen has done. Owen continues his attack on Michaels. Michaels runs away backstage with Triple H and Chyna and it looks like they are both getting into a car. But Owen has a baseball bat in hand. Owen grabs the driver of the car and punches him in the face. Owen Hart has snapped. Owen's got the ball bat and he's hitting the car with the Baseball Bat, and wait a minute cop cars are heard as Police are here as well. Police try to restrain Owen but Owen shoves a police officer down and all of a sudden. The cops are surrounding Owen and Owen begins to surrender. Owen is voluntarily surrendering to the cops. The Cops begin to arrest Owen but as they do so. Owen lunges at Shawn again who is trying to get out of that limousine, but the Cops tackle him and handcuff Owen down. Owen is now officially handcuffed. It looks like Owen is going to jail, but what a crazy situation that has just happened. Shawn Michaels made a ruse all along that Bret Hart was going to return and now it looks like The Heartbreak Kid and the WWF Owner have paid a very big price here. Michaels is being checked on by some officials and Michaels just shoves them down and lunges at the arrested Owen punching away at him. But look at Owen. He just spat in the WWF Champion's face. Vince then yells for the cops to take Owen away. Owen also headbutts Vince while handcuffed. Owen is being taken in the cop car and the last image is seen of Owen looking at Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon with Hate as RAW goes off the air.
