WWF RAW IS WAR - November 24. 1997 Before the show begins, we see a cemetery in where we see The Undertaker dressed in a Biker Coat and Bandana holding a shovel. Taker starts speaking saying that he's come to this gravesite for Shawn Michaels's last thirteen days on earth. As for what Shawn did at Survivor Series. Shawn will have to attone to for his actions, Taker says that he let Shawn get away twice with his soul in the 2 PPVs they first battled in, the first one was Ground Zero, then the next one was Hell in A Cell. But everyone remembers when he beat Shawn to a bloody pulp inside that cell. And the fact that Shawn still survived and breathed was because of his baby brother Kane. But now, the rules will change. In 13 days at D-Generation X. Shawn Michaels's soul will belong to The Undertaker. Taker says that he's here to cleanse the evil of not only Shawn Michaels, not only DX, But Vince McMahon. Taker says that he will not hold back. First, he's going to beat Shawn down to a bloody pulp. Maybe he'll rip the heart and flesh off of Shawn Michaels's skin. And then maybe he'll probably feed it to Shawn's good friend Triple H or maybe Chyna, either way. When that's all said and done, and then he's going to make him bleed like he did at Bad Blood, and then to top everything off. He is going to bury Shawn alive. Undertaker says that the WWF Championship must be worn by respect and Shawn Michaels hasn't earned any respect to the WWF Championship. But there's been one man that has won the belt three times and has respected it more than anything, The Undertaker. Undertaker says that he's had ups and downs in 1997, winning the Royal Rumble, the WWF Title at WrestleMania 13 and his brother Kane coming to the WWF. Taker says that he did not expect Kane to come to his rescue last week. Because he did the same for Kane when he saved him from all these Superstars to the WWF that Kane destroyed, Taker says that deep down he will not fight his brother, but he wants his brother to come with him so that they can cleanse the world of D-Generation X once and for all and send them to their final damnation and also that he's going to be there tonight cause he's got a surprise in store for D-Generation X. Taker then begins to shovel the grave and says that at D-Generation X. Shawn Michaels is not going to be resting in peace, instead he is going to make sure that Shawn Michaels is going to be enjoying eternal hell. Taker rolls his eyes and begins to shovel the dirt as the RAW intro begins. Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler are your hosts for Monday Night RAW. Ross talks about the opening segment of The Undertaker playing mind games on D-Generation X and that he would be in the building tonight and that he would be in action as he goes one on one with one half of the WWF Tag Team Champions, Billy Gunn. And also Shawn Michaels will be here tonight to address his match with The Undertaker. Stone Cold's music hits as he makes his way out to the ring with the Intercontinental Championship Belt. And Austin is in a foul mood after what happened between him, Jeff Jarrett and Dan "The Beast" Severn. Austin was supposed to defend the Intercontinental Title against The Beast, but an attack by Jeff Jarrett and Dan Severn left Austin laid out last week. Austin gets in the ring with a microphone in hand. Austin says that last week Jeff Jarrett and Dan Severn decided to put his hands on Stone Cold Steve Austin and that was the biggest mistake they ever made in their life. Austin says he's here tonight to whoop somebody's ass and it may be Jeff Jarrett and Dan Severn or anyone else. Austin says that he is not leaving the ring until somebody comes out here whether it's Jarrett, Severn, Jim Cornette, Vince McMahon or anybody else. Come on out here. Austin waits for somebody, but he suddenly hears Kurrgan's music as he comes out with the Jackal. And it looks like Jackal also has a referee with him, Jackal has a microphone saying that if Stone Cold Steve Austin wants a fight and a match tonight, then why not face the big man Kurrgan here tonight. And if Austin has the balls, he can put the Intercontinental Championship on the line here tonight. Austin says that he's not scared of Kurrgan. If Kurrgan wants an ass whooping he's got one.
Match 1: WWF Intercontinental Championship Match Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Kurrgan w/Jackal Austin still dressed in street clothes must take on this 350-pound monster Kurrgan. Kurrgan was undefeated for a while in the spring but lost his undefeated streak to Ahmed Johnson a few months ago. Austin hammers away at Kurrgan with all he's got and as Austin runs off the ropes. Kurrgan hits a big boot on the Rattlesnake knocking Austin down. Kurrgan has all the momentum in this matchup and tries to bring Austin down but Austin battles back against Kurrgan and eventually brings the big man down with a flying clothesline. Kurrgan gets to his feet only to recieve a Stunner, but he doesn't go off his feet. Austin hits another stunner but again Kurrgan doesn't go down. And Austin hits one more Stunner and this time Kurrgan finally goes down. Austin covers Kurrgan to get the win and retain the Intercontinental Championship. Winner and Still Intercontinental Champion: Stone Cold Steve Austin After The Match as Austin begins to celebrate. Jeff Jarrett runs down to the ring and attacks Austin with a steel chair to the back and Jarrett then grabs the Intercontinental Title and look at this, Jarrett is leaving the ring with the Intercontinental Title Belt. Jarrett has stolen Austin's Intercontinental Title. Austin stirs and comes to and sees that Jarrett has his Intercontinental Title Belt that he begins to chase him. The Commentators also announce that Jeff Jarrett will be in action to take on Mankind later tonight.
(break) Match 2: Marc Mero w/Sable vs Bart Gunn Marc Mero has been equally jealous lately of people looking at Sable. Last week, it was Steve Blackman and Marc Mero put his hands on him after Mero was defeated by the Lethal Weapon Steve Blackman, it's also announced that a match has been made for D-Generation X between Blackman and Mero. Gunn gets some good offense in despite being a veteran in this business, as you can also tell Gunn was also attacked by The Undertaker and Kane last week in that brawl between 6 of the WWF Superstars against The Undertaker and Kane, Mero gets the win by hitting the TKO on Gunn to get the victory after using a low blow behind the referee's back. Winner: Marc Mero And after the match, Mero begins to attack Gunn when suddenly Steve Blackman appears and Mero begins to retreat from the ring. What a war that is going to be between Steve Blackman and Marc Mero at D-Generation X. That should be a good one. We go to the locker room of Ken Shamrock with Ross announcing that at D-Generation X. Ken Shamrock will face Hunter Hearst Helmsley for the WWF European Championship. Shamrock says that it's good because for far too long he's been in the WWF and he's seen Shawn Michaels and Triple H make fun of everyone, 2 weeks ago, he was this close on becoming the World Wrestling Federation Champion and make Shawn Michaels tap out but it was Triple H that cost him the WWF Championship, But at D-Generation X. He has an opportunity to make Hunter Hearst Helmsley tap out and win the European Title and that will be a bad night for DX not only when he makes Hunter tap out but he gets to watch The Undertaker bury Shawn Michaels alive.
(break) Backstage, Stone Cold Steve Austin is looking for Jeff Jarrett as Austin has seemingly taken possession of the Intercontinental Championship of Jeff Jarrett. Austin begins screaming at Jarrett saying that he's going to whip Jarrett's ass and take that title back.
Back in the commentators seat, Jim Ross says that earlier today he had the chance to talk to Mick Foley about Terry Funk. Earlier today, we see Jim Ross talking to Mick Foley about the rivalry and the issue he's had with Terry Funk. Foley says that he and Funk have been friends for a long time, their history goes all the way back in 1994 to ECW. But he can't understand why Funk snapped like that, it's because what had been happening in 1996 when Foley destroyed Terry Funk so badly, and then at WrestleMania 13. They put on the best damn match in their career, the Chicago Street Fight, whatever's happened with Funk. He's not all in there, he is now sadistic and when Foley busted him open, Terry enjoyed it. Well he hopes that Terry did enjoy it, because the same thing is happening at D-Generation X when Mankind returns to face Terry Funk, and he doesn't want Vince McMahon or anyone to be held accountable when he faces Terry Funk at D-Generation X. He doesn't want the match sanctioned at all. He wants it to be unsanctioned. No Rules, No Disqualifactions, No Countouts. It must end when one man can't go. And he hopes Funk is able to accept it because just like WrestleMania 13 what Mankind did to Funk will be nothing compared to the more pain that Mankind's going to do to Funk.
Returning to ringside, The Commentators take us to Terry Funk backstage. Funk says that he saw what Mick Foley said to J.R., And Foley's right. He is sadistic, he's been that way for 32 years, he's been that Hardcore man. He's stepped up to the likes of everyone and he's made them bleed. So if Foley doesn't want Vince McMahon or the WWF to be held responsible for what they do to each other. Then he agrees with Foley. Funk says that he is going to beat Mankind to shreds and shreds and hurts him and makes sure he is out of the WWF for good.
(break) Match 3: Super Loco vs Jinsei Shinzaki Another great Light Heavyweight Encounter as we haven't seen Jinsei Shinzaki formerly known as Hakushi when he was in the WWF in 1995. But he's returned to wrestle for the Light Heavyweight Division. Shinzaki and Loco put on a good match, but in the end it's Super Loco that has the victory by hitting a moonsault off the top rope to get the victory. Winner: Super Loco
(break) Match 4: Billy Gunn w/Road Dogg vs The Undertaker We saw The Undertaker earlier on tonight as he was digging a grave for Shawn Michaels. But tonight, he goes one on one with one half of the WWF Tag Team Champions Billy Gunn. Billy tries to get into a slugfest with Undertaker punching away at him and hitting a dropkick but Undertaker doesn't go down as Taker throws him down to the buckle with right hands and body shots on one half of the former Tag Team Champions. Taker whips Gunn into the ropes and hits a back body drop and follows it up with a clothesline. Undertaker runs off the ropes and goes for an elbow drop but Gunn rolls out of the way. Gunn then punches away at Undertaker only for Taker to block it and hit him with a right hand and Taker knocks him down with a uppercut and grabs the arm and hits the modified ropewalk taking him down. Gunn is able to fight back after a distraction by the Road Dogg. He brings Undertaker down with powerful moves hitting a swinging neckbreaker, a flapjack and a powerslam but none of them are able to put Taker down. Taker fights back in the match and goes for a chokeslam on Gunn but Gunn kicks him in the gut and grabs Undertaker and hits a modified jackhammer on the Phenom. Gunn goes for the cover but Undertaker kicks out at 2. Gunn goes to the top rope but Undertaker grabs him by the throat and Road Dogg tries to come in to attack but Undertaker kicks him in the face while he's holding Gunn. Undertaker chokeslams Gunn to the mat and Taker sees Road Dogg up and Taker knocks him out of the ring with a Clothesline. Taker picks him up and nails him with the Tombstone Piledriver to pick up the win. Winner: The Undertaker After the Match. Road Dogg gets in the ring but Undertaker knocks him down and whips him off the ropes and goes for a Chokeslam but Gunn gets back up and hits Undertaker with a dropkick and now the New Age Outlaws are bringing Undertaker down to the mat. They then whip him off the ropes and hit a double flapjack taking him down. Then as the Outlaws have the upper hand, the lights go out in the arena as Kane's music plays. What does Kane want?. Does Kane want to attack The Undertaker again?. We know Kane and The Undertaker both saved each other last week. Kane gets in the ring and it looks like he's helping The Undertaker again. Kane hits Gunn and Dogg with uppercuts. Undertaker gets to his feet and look at this, both brothers are attacking the New Age Outlaws. Undertaker grabs Dogg by the throat and chokeslams him to the mat while Kane does the same thing to Billy. Kane then picks Billy up and tombstones him to the mat while Undertaker does the same thing to Road Dogg as Kane watches. Undertaker begins to leave the ring while Kane is standing in the ring. What is going on between The Undertaker and Kane?. Undertaker stares down Kane as RAW takes a commercial break. Backstage, Goldust is talking to somebody as he says he's got a big surprise for the fans tonight as it looks like he's in a mental institution gown with a nurse doctor. (break) Goldust makes his way to the ring being wheeled out with Michael Cole talking to him. Michael Cole says that last week on RAW. He took on Sycho Sid, it all stemmed the night after Survivor Series when Goldust lost to Kane and ever since then. Goldust had been on a downward spiral. Goldust says that he's an embelant and that means three days ago, that chokeslam broke his neck and now he's a paraplegic. And they can laugh all they want and this morning, he couldn't move an inch on his body, so he's a quadrplegic and he doesn't know if Goldust is 100% and it pisses him off. Goldust says that the fans would love to see Goldust back in the ring. The commentators are appalled by Goldust's disgusting actions. Goldust says that if his nursing buddy would love to rub Alcohol on his shoulders. Goldust says that he wants to thank the fans for his support, the letters and the prayers and that he appreciates it, then Sycho Sid's music plays in the arena as he comes out. Sid says that he doesn't believe in Goldust's crap. He doesn't believe in Goldust's injury. He thinks Goldust is a sycho and he should be put down permanately. Sid begins to attack Goldust but wait a minute the nurse begins to hit the rubbing alcohol on Sid and Goldust gets up to his feet and starts to attack Sid with that rubbing alcohol and Sid can't defend himself and Goldust throws Sid into the steel steps, but wait a minute, the nurse has revealed to be Luna Vachon. We haven't seen Luna since 1994. Goldust and Luna walk together with Luna saying "The Bitch is Back". Then suddenly Vader runs to the ring and begins to chase Goldust and Luna out of the building. (break) Match 5: The Rock w/The Nation of Domination vs Vader Vader was already in the ring helping out Sid, but this should be an entertaining match between the former WWF Champion Vader and The Rock. And Vader begins to take his frustrations out on The Rock. Vader has not been seen since the Survivor Series. Vader starts to overpower The Rock in the opening moments of the contest but The Rock fights back in the middle of the match. And there's Dan Severn with Jim Cornette watching. Apparently Vader and Dan Severn have not settled their differences lately as the commentators say that Vader and Severn will clash at D-Generation X. Vader fights back in this match and even fends off the rest of the Nation on the outside, but as the referee is checking on The Rock. Vader attempts to hit The Rock with a powerbomb and he does and then sets up for the Vaderbomb but as the referee is distracted by Faarooq. Dan Severn enters the ring and hits Vader with a boot to the face. The Rock gets to his feet and nails Vader with the Rock Bottom followed by the modified elbow to get the victory and The Rock has pinned another former WWF Champion but not without controversy. Winner: The Rock Backstage, Jeff Jarrett is walking to the ring for his match with Mankind with Jarrett having the Intercontinental Championship Belt around his waist smiling. But another camera sees Stone Cold Steve Austin still backstage hunting for Double J. (break) Backstage, The Commentators take us to Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Michaels says that tonight he's going to be talking about burying The Undertaker alive, but he does have a big surprise for everyone because he has it on good authority that Bret Hart will be here tonight and if Bret does come here tonight. He's going to look Bret in the eyes and say that he beat him at Survivor Series and he's going to beat him up here tonight and send him out of the WWF for good. Match 6: Jeff Jarrett w/Dan Severn and Jim Cornette vs Mankind Jarrett is wearing the Intercontinental Title Belt still around his waist as he will take on Mankind. Jarrett and Mankind lock it up in the ring with Mankind gaining the advantage. Jarrett and Mankind will have big matches at D-Generation X as Jarrett will challenge Stone Cold Steve Austin for the Intercontinental Championship and Mankind will take on Terry Funk in an unsanctioned match that should be very brutal. Mankind gets the advantage and hits a neckbreaker on the floor taking down Jarrett. Jarrett battles back and hits a big back body drop on Mankind on the apron as Mankind charges at him. Jarrett begins to take it to Mankind with uppercuts and dropkicks and a backbody drop. Mankind battles back but Jarrett hits a neckbreaker taking Mankind down. Jarrett then sets up for a piledriver but Mankind backdrops him over the top rope to the floor and what a match between these two men. Mankind tries to take Jarrett into the steel steps but Jarrett counters it and throws him straight into the steel steps. Jarrett then tosses Mankind back in the ring, but Mankind fights back and hits a knee to the face followed by a clothesline. Mankind then sets up for the Mandible Claw on Jarrett but wait a minute Jarrett rolls Mankind up and look he's got the tights. Jarrett just beat Mankind. Winner: Jeff Jarrett After the Match, Mankind begins to fight back against Jarrett by beating him up, but wait a minute here comes Terry Funk. Funk gets in the ring to go after Mankind but Mankind sees him and fights back against Funk and sends Funk out of the ring with a clothesline and himself over the top rope. Mankind and Funk begin to fight against the barricade, it's a warzone between these two. Jarrett begins to still celebrate his win but wait a minute here comes Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin runs to the ring to attack Jarrett. Austin begins to beat Jarrett down. Severn gets in the ring but he gets knocked off the apron. Austin whips Jarrett into the ropes and hits a back body drop and Austin tries to get the Intercontinental Belt off of Jarrett but Severn hits him with a right hand and Severn helps Jarrett retreat out of the ring. Austin grabs a microphone and tells Jarrett to have himself a good thanksgiving but here's a little bird for Double J to enjoy. Austin flips Jarrett the bird it looks like Jarrett will be taking the Intercontinental Title with him tonight. Backstage, D-Generation X are on their way to the ring. Is Bret Hart really going to be here tonight?. Will he show up?.
(break) Backstage, D-Generation X make their way to the ring. Triple H is the first to speak saying that D-Generation X will have theirselves a big night and he says that Ken Shamrock can come out and make people's ankles break and stuff like that. But remember, Helmsley has a big ankle and there's no way that Shamrock can break it. He's going to end this fairy tale that is Ken Shamrock and then mentions that Shamrock won the King of The Ring last June, well at D-Generation X. He's going to be taking on the real King of The Ring and he's going to beat Shamrock and retain the European Championship and that Shamrock's old lady with laryngitis will be in Triple H's hotel room. Shawn Michaels then picks up the microphone and says that since Survivor Series, he has not gotten any sleep. There's a lot of controversy surrounding what happened at Survivor Series. He never thought that it would end that way. Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels have had their differences, personally and professionally. But never that he planned that it would come to an end. Shawn says that he wants the world to know that he takes full and total responsbility for what happened in Montreal, The world needs to know that Bret Hart is still under contract with the WWF until November 30, 1997. Shawn says that he doesn't care what The Undertaker says and what anybody else says. Bret Hart deserved better, and now he's being punished and persecuted by the fans and they want to see Shawn Michaels in a grave six feet under well the fact of the matter is. The only person that should've been six feet under was what should've happened in Montreal. Vince McMahon himself should have been six feet under. Michaels says that Vince McMahon and the WWF deserve better, Michaels wants everyone to know that Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels have finally had contact with each other without the knowledge of Media or Vince McMahon or the Internet or the Underground Dirt Sheet writers, he's contacted Bret and he's spoke to him and Bret and him have an agreement and an arrangement. Shawn says that Bret Hart is here tonight and he wants to bury the hatchet and wants to settle this once and for all. It's up to Bret, it could end with a handshake or it can end with a fight and everyone knows that Shawn will kick Bret's teeth down his throat. But before he brings Bret out, that brings him to The Undertaker. Shawn says that he watched that footage tonight of The Undertaker making a gravesite for him, but at D-Generation X. Everyone knows The Undertaker will not take Shawn Michaels's heart. What Shawn is going to do is drive a knife to The Undertaker's back and then at that point. He will bury him alive just like he did at Bad Blood. Shawn says that the last time he and The Undertaker fought, he was a bloody mess. But he was saved by a guardian angel by the name of The Undertaker's brother Kane but what did that Guardian Angel do last week?. He chokeslammed Shawn straight to hell. Shawn says that what he also saw was what Kane & Undertaker did to the New Age Outlaws. If there's an alliance between Kane and The Undertaker, then who's to say D-Generation X will break that alliance, and at D-Generation X. The Undertaker's WWF Career will finally be buried six feet under, and now. Everyone heard the rumours, the innuendo, it's time to put it all aside once and for all. Tonight, the controversy comes to a end. Michaels introduces Bret "The Hitman" Hart. The fans begin to go nuts thinking that Bret is here as his music hits in the arena but wait a minute it's not Bret Hart. It's a midget of Bret Hart. Helmsley says that it's cold in Canada, but not really cold in the Carolinas. Helmsley then makes fun of Bret saying that Bret was short on talent, DX just swerved and pulled one over on the fans once again. And as Bret charges at Shawn. Helmsley tells everyone that he's going to set the stage for him. 18 Months in the making. Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart at Survivor Series, the match is going on. Shawn has a lead in the situation, Bret coming up short on the offense. And all of a sudden, Bret goes down flat on his back. Shawn grabs the midget Bret by the legs and goes for the sharpshooter while Helmsley picks up the microphone and look at the Midget Bret tapping out. Helmsley screams at the Midget Bret saying who's the man and the icon. The Midget says "Shawn Michaels". Helmsley then says the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be. Shawn Michaels. And also Helmsley says who the powerful force in the WWF is today, Midget Hart says "DX". Shawn lets the Sharpshooter go, and just as Shawn and Helmsley are beginning to celebrate. Someone comes from the crowd and tackles Shawn Michaels, It's OWEN HART!. Owen Hart is back. Owen Hart is assaulting Shawn Michaels. Owen goes right for Shawn. Shawn and Helmsley try to retreat out of the ring but Owen still goes after him. Owen takes Shawn down and punches away at him. The Crowd is on their feet chanting for Owen. Look at the anger and frustration that has been built, 15 days ago. Shawn Michaels put his brother Bret out of the WWF and Owen is taking that rage out on Shawn Michaels and D-Generation X. Officials and referees try to stop Owen from going too far and even Vince McMahon is out here and Owen and Vince begin to have words. Owen grabs Vince and just punches him and Vince goes down on the mat. The fans cheer for what Owen has done. Owen continues his attack on Michaels. Michaels runs away backstage with Triple H and Chyna and it looks like they are both getting into a car. But Owen has a baseball bat in hand. Owen grabs the driver of the car and punches him in the face. Owen Hart has snapped. Owen's got the ball bat and he's hitting the car with the Baseball Bat, and wait a minute cop cars are heard as Police are here as well. Police try to restrain Owen but Owen shoves a police officer down and all of a sudden. The cops are surrounding Owen and Owen begins to surrender. Owen is voluntarily surrendering to the cops. The Cops begin to arrest Owen but as they do so. Owen lunges at Shawn again who is trying to get out of that limousine, but the Cops tackle him and handcuff Owen down. Owen is now officially handcuffed. It looks like Owen is going to jail, but what a crazy situation that has just happened. Shawn Michaels made a ruse all along that Bret Hart was going to return and now it looks like The Heartbreak Kid and the WWF Owner have paid a very big price here. Michaels is being checked on by some officials and Michaels just shoves them down and lunges at the arrested Owen punching away at him. But look at Owen. He just spat in the WWF Champion's face. Vince then yells for the cops to take Owen away. Owen also headbutts Vince while handcuffed. Owen is being taken in the cop car and the last image is seen of Owen looking at Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon with Hate as RAW goes off the air.

I really love that you are making Owen chase the title, and that booking to end Raw was tense. Loved the detail you went into with Cops seeing Owen go this crazy, and the baseball being such simple detail went really far just reading that. WWE really should of explored this as the feud to cap off 1997. Really love that you are exploring slightly amending this era of time then totally altering it. But, I think the deeper we get into your Attitude Era things will really start to adapt and change.

WWF RAW IS WAR - December 1. 1997
The show kicks off with what happened last week with Shawn Michaels making fun of Bret Hart dressed up as a midget and Michaels putting him in the sharpshooter until Owen Hart came in to attack Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon with Owen being handcuffed by police officers.
After the RAW Intro kicks us off. Stone Cold Steve Austin's music plays in the arena as he comes out with an angered look on his face. It was a week ago that Jeff Jarrett stole the Intercontinental Championship from Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin you could clearly tell wants Double J right now. Austin gets in the ring and says that he's in a foul mood, because last week a country wannabe star son of a bitch stole his Intercontinental Championship. And that son of a bitch just happened to be Double J or as he likes to call Double Jerk Jarrett, he cannot wait til D-Generation X to fight Double J Jeff Jarrett, as a matter of fact. He would like to have no referee in the ring, he wants to have a fight with Jeff Jarrett for his Intercontinental Championship so that he can stop a mudhole in Double J's ass and walk it dry. And he wants it unsanctioned so that nobody can stop him from beating the living hell out of Jeff Jarrett, and if Dan Severn can come with him. He's got a knuckle sandwich for him too. Because he ain't leaving the ring until Jeff Jarrett and Dan Severn enters the ring and gets their ass kicked and that's the bottom line because Stone Cold said so. Stone Cold waits for somebody and says that he's got the entire night to wait for somebody to show up because he's going to drink some beer, Austin then tells somebody to give him a beer and they comply. Austin starts to drink a Budweiser Beer and drinks it down. And then he asks for another. Austin then drinks the other beer down. Then suddenly Vince McMahon comes out with Pat Patterson, Gerald Brisco and Sgt. Slaughter and some officials. Austin says that he was expecting Jeff Jarrett, not these 3 sons of bitches. McMahon then has a mic in his hand and says that Austin has gotten out of hand and that he needs to get a hold of himself. Yes, Jeff Jarrett is here but he doesn't want Austin to go after Jarrett tonight. He wants to keep his PPV intact. Because Austin and Jarrett cannot afford to touch each other tonight. And yes, for once McMahon can agree with Stone Cold. Jarrett has the Intercontinental Championship Belt that Stone Cold is wearing and it should not be his. Austin demands that he doesn't give a damn. He doesn't care if Jarrett is in the building, he still wants to kick the living hell out of Jarrett and take back possession of the Intercontinental Title that he stole, he doesn't care about Vince McMahon's rules and restrictions. As a matter of fact, he couldn't care less. McMahon then states that Austin's pushing it, because a rule has been stated that if Austin gets physically out of line at D-Generation X and that if he stuns a referee or even thinks about using a weapon then he will be stripped of the Intercontinental Championship and the belt will be automatically awarded to Jeff Jarrett. Then suddenly Jeff Jarrett's music plays as he comes out with the Intercontinental Championship Belt with Jim Cornette. Jarrett says that he got one over on Austin last week because he stole the one thing that Austin cared about most, and that was the Intercontinental Championship. The one that Austin had to fight back to get to cause of his broken neck. Jarrett says that Austin can never defeat him, and at D-Generation X. He's not going to do anything to Double J because Jarrett will make sure he loses the Intercontinental Title and there will be a new Intercontinental Champion this Sunday Night. Jarrett says that he held the Intercontinental Title 3 years ago and put some prestige in it. And he'll be glad to do it again when he beats Austin at D-Generation X. Austin then cuts Jarrett off saying that he wants Jarrett in this ring right now so he can beat the living hell out of you, whoop his ass and take the Intercontinental Title back from him. McMahon tries to hold Austin back but Austin shoves McMahon out of the way and Austin gets out of the ring to go straight for Jarrett. Austin and Jarrett start to exchange blows as officials and referees try to stop them from going each other. Austin then tosses Jarrett in the ring with Austin gaining the upper hand on Jarrett. Jarrett fights back and whips Austin into the ropes and goes for a back body drop but Austin kicks him in the face and hits a clothesline knocking Jarrett down. Austin whips Jarrett into the ropes and hits a high back body drop on Jarrett and Austin tries to get the Intercontinental Title Belt off of Jarrett's waist. But Jim Cornette stops Austin from doing so and Austin levels Cornette with a right hand, but look at this Dan Severn just pulled Jarrett out of the ring. McMahon gets in the ring and tries to reason with Austin but look. Austin just kicks McMahon in the gut and he hits the stunner. Austin did it again, that's the second stunner that Vince McMahon took in three months. But Austin's not aware to what he did. Austin looks at a downed Vince and flips him off. That may have cost Austin his career right then and there. Austin could be fired over this. (break) RAW returns from the break with a recap of what just happened moments ago with Stone Cold holding RAW hostage and attempting to get his Intercontinental Title Belt and a brawl broke out between Jarrett and Stone Cold with Austin getting the upper hand and trying to reclaim the Intercontinental Title that Jarrett had repossessed but Jarrett got away again, McMahon then tried to reason with Austin but Austin unaware that he thought it was someone else that had talked to him. Austin gave McMahon the stunner. What a wild explosion to kick off RAW. Backstage, Vince McMahon is slowly walking out of the ring holding an icepack in his head with Patterson, Brisco and Slaughter. Slaughter asks if he's okay, then suddenly Vince says he's not. Last week, it was Owen Hart that jumped him, and this week Stone Cold Steve Austin stunned him again. He's had enough of the disrespect, at the end of the night. He's going to walk down the ring and he is publicly going to address the WWF fans and he doesn't give a damn who will like it or not.
Match 1: The Rock and Faarooq w/D-Lo Brown, Kama and Mark Henry vs Mosh and Thrasher w/The DOA This Sunday on PPV. The Nation of Domination will face The Headbangers and The DOA in a 10-Man Tag Team Match, but tonight. The Rock and Faarooq will face off against The Headbangers. This is a good tag match between these four. Thrasher and Mosh almost have the upper hand, but a distraction by Henry allows The Rock to take advantage and hit Thrasher with the Rock Bottom to get the victory. The commentators say that The Rock has been quite on a roll since joining The Nation of Domination. Winners: The Rock and Faarooq
Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross talk about the Buried Alive Match between Shawn Michaels & The Undertaker, but later tonight. The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels will be in the ring together with Ken Shamrock teaming up with The Undertaker to take on Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Shawn Michaels in a Tag Team Match, and what role will Kane play?. Clips are shown of last week with Kane saving The Undertaker from an attack by The New Age Outlaws. The commentators announce that when RAW comes back, The commentators will look at the history between The Undertaker & Shawn Michaels. RAW returns from break with a video package between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels set to "Down In A Hole" by Alice N' Chains.
Match 2: Tajiri vs Jinsei Shinzaki This should be a good match between Tajiri and Jinsei Shinzaki who we used to know as Hakushi years ago and we still do. These two will be a part of the Light Heavyweight Battle Royal to determine the new Light Heavyweight Champion. A title that was once held in 1993 but it was retired after its first champion was Sean Waltman better known as The 123 Kid. Shinzaki and Tajiri put on a good cruiserweight match, but in the end it's Shinzaki that wins the match by hitting a superkick on Tajiri to get the win. Winner: Jinsei Shinzaki Backstage. The commentators catch up with Shawn Michaels and Hunter Hearst Helmsley. Michaels says that last week Owen Hart stuck his nose where it didn't belong and he is glad that the cops were there to arrest Owen Hart because if the cops didn't. He would beat Owen and send him back packing to Canada. Michaels says that at Survivor Series, He won the WWF Championship fair and square and no matter what the fans or critics say. They say that he screwed Bret Hart, he didn't screw Bret Hart. Vince McMahon didn't screw Bret Hart. Bret Hart screwed himself. And now The Undertaker wants to take his soul in a Buried Alive Match. Michaels says that The Undertaker can never bury him alive because HBK would put him out on the dirt six feet under just like he did at Hell in A Cell and he would not have help from Kane either. Michaels says that he also hopes that The Undertaker and Kane are not working together, but if they are it won't bother him because he is still going to come in D-Generation X and come out of D-Generation X still the World Wrestling Federation Champion. Triple H then speaks and says that Shamrock may be formerly from UFC but he cannot hang with Triple H. He may have been too popular on his first year in the WWF by winning the 1997 King of The Ring, but he failed to become the World Wrestling Federation Champion. But there is one title that he is not going to take, and that is the European Championship. So him and Shawn Michaels will start D-Generation X early by destroying Ken Shamrock and The Undertaker and that if they ain't down with that. They got two words for them!. Suck It!. (break) Match 3: Mankind vs Tiger Ali Singh w/The Iron Sheik and Bob Backlund. Just 6 days before his unsanctioned match with Terry Funk. Mankind completely takes down Singh and just beats the hell out of him and gets the victory by hitting the Mandible Claw to get the win. Winner: Mankind After the Match. Terry Funk is on the stage with microphone in hand. He says that at WrestleMania he and Mankind battered each other until there was nothing left, but at D-Generation X. He and Mankind are going to kill the hell out of each other, they don't care if they have to hurt each other. They don't care if they have to beat the hell out of each other. They don't care if they have to fight to the death. All that matters is, there's going to be one man standing and that is Terry Funk. Mankind then picks up the microphone and says that Funk may have to kill him at D-Generation X but it won't be enough because at WrestleMania 13. Mankind destroyed him in that Chicago Street Fight and Funk knows it. At WrestleMania. Mankind could've ripped Funk's soul and heart out but it wasn't enough, at D-Generation X. He is going to tear Funk's head off for good and make him bleed all over Springfield, Massachusetts and Funk will have a nice day. Backstage, Paul Bearer. Kane's manager is on his way to the ring, what does Paul Bearer have to say about the relationship between Kane and The Undertaker?. We'll find out next. (break) Paul Bearer makes his way out to the ring in The Undertaker's old music and it looks like he hasn't gained any sleep at all. Ross explains that two weeks ago on RAW. There were Angry WWF Superstars that conspired to attack Kane, but The Undertaker came down to make the save and helped fight Kane against these attackers. And then Last Week, Kane went on to save his brother The Undertaker against the New Age Outlaws. Bearer has a microphone and says that at D-Generation X. He hopes Shawn Michaels buries him alive and destroys The Undertaker. He curses the ground that he walks on. He is ashamed to call him his friend, he is ashamed to have managed him all these years to the World Wrestling Federation Championship, he despises the very air that he brings, he hates his guts and it's because of him, he has lost Kane. Bearer says that The Undertaker's actions poisoned Kane's mind. He can't find him and that he's searched everywhere and everywhere but he hasn't found him. Bearer says that he knows that Kane is watching and that he's out there somewhere. Bearer took care of Kane for all these years after that fire and that Kane needs to listen for once, come home to Paul Bearer. Bearer leaves the ring as he is in a daze. He can't find Kane at all. Where is Kane tonight?. Is he in the building. We don't know.
Backstage, Stone Cold Steve Austin is still looking for Jeff Jarrett. We know that Jarrett is scheduled to have a match with Sycho Sid right now, but it looks like Jarrett may not make it out of the match. Austin opens the door and there's no one there.
(break) Match 4: Jeff Jarrett w/Dan Severn and Jim Cornette vs Sycho Sid Before the match begins. Jarrett announces that this match isn't for the Intercontinental Championship and he hopes that Stone Cold Steve Austin doesn't consider showing up for this match. Jarrett tries to start off the match early by trying to outwrestle Sid but Sid does not want to have any of it as he goes to work on Jarrett. Sid has had his fair share of problems with Goldust recently that he may think that Jeff Jarrett may be Goldust. Jarrett fights back and goes for the legs of Sid. Sid fights back despite Jarrett working on the legs and hits a powerslam on Jarrett. Sid goes for the cover but Jarrett kicks out at 2. Sid tries to go for a chokeslam but Jarrett rakes the eyes and tries to go for a cross body but Sid catches him in mid air and goes for the chokeslam and he hits him with it. Sid could get the win here. Sid sets up Jarrett for the jackknife powerbomb but Jarrett begins to roll out of the ring, but wait a minute. Stone Cold Steve Austin has snuck up behind Jarrett and tosses him in the ring. Sid grabs Jarrett and hits him with the jackknife powerbomb and Sid has beaten Double J just six days before Jarrett's Intercontinental Title Match with Stone Cold Steve Austin. Winner: Sycho Sid Just as Sid starts to celebrate his victory, Goldust enters the ring and begins to attack Sid. But Sid fights back and knocks Goldust out of the ring with a clothesline leaving Austin and Jarrett. Austin gets in the ring and tries to get at Jarrett, but Jarrett starts to escape and he grabs the Intercontinental Title and goes to the barricade. Austin has a microphone saying that at D-Generation X either way. He is going to whoop Jarrett's ass and reclaim his Intercontinental Title, but even if he's disqualified. He's still going to reclaim the Intercontinental Championship either way and that's the bottom line cause Stone Cold said so. Backstage, we see The Undertaker in a dark room. He says that in six days time it will all be over between him and Shawn Michaels. Taker says that he has never beaten Michaels in a one on one match nor never pinned him or never made him submit. But this sunday won't be about submissions or pinfalls. It will be about Survival. Taker says that at Bad Blood, although he didn't win because of his brother Kane he made Shawn Michaels bleed and he watched Shawn fall off the top of the cell and yes, he could've won the match if it hadn't been for his brother Kane and he should've been the one to become the WWF Champion at Survivor Series without screwing Bret Hart. But, Shawn Michaels is going to pay for his sins when he asks for forgiveness from The Undertaker. But he's not going to find it. And at D-Generation X. He is going to dig a hole for both Triple H, Chyna and Shawn Michaels and he will end 1997 and start off the 1998 year as the World Wrestling Federation Champion and nobody will deny The Undertaker that opportunity. (break) Match 5: Steve Blackman vs Mike Bell At D-Generation X. Steve Blackman will take on Marc Mero, but tonight he takes on Mike Bell in what is no doubt a walk in the park for the Lethal Weapon as he completely dominates the match over Bell and gets the win by hitting the Dragon Sleeper to get the victory. Winner: Steve Blackman After The Match. Marc Mero enters the ring and begins to attack the Lethal Weapon and look at Mero go to town on Blackman. Mero picks up Blackman and hits the TKO to Blackman taking him down. Mero then gets in Blackman's face saying that he will see him at D-Generation X.
(break)
Match 6: #1 Contenders Match to determine who will face the New Age Outlaws at DX: In Your House The Legion of Doom vs The Blackjacks The New Age Outlaws are on commentary for the match as The LOD and The Blackjacks go at it. This should be an interesting contest between these two teams. The Blackjacks get the upper hand in this match and are surprisingly putting on a good effort but The LOD fight back and it looks like the match is about to come to an end with Animal trying to hit a Doomsday Device but Bradshaw gets Windham out of it and hits Hawk with a boot to the face knocking him out of the ring, and look at this The Blackjacks and The Legion of Doom are fighting outside the ring. The referee counts both men out and the match is a draw, so who are the #1 Contenders?. The Outlaws begin to laugh and start to walk backstage, but Sgt. Slaughter comes out and announces that at D-Generation X:. The Outlaws will defend the Tag Team Titles in a Triple Threat Match against The Blackjacks and The Legion of Doom. The Outlaws look stunned at that decision and it looks like The Outlaws's reign as Tag Team Champions may come to an end, they've been champs for the better part of 3 months. But it could end at DX. Winners: Draw
(break)
Match 7: Tag Team Match The Undertaker and Ken Shamrock vs Triple H and Shawn Michaels w/Chyna What a Tag Team Match this should be as The Undertaker & Ken Shamrock team up against D-Generation X. But they will face Michaels and Triple H in separate matches this Sunday Night. Shamrock will challenge Triple H for the European Title while Undertaker takes on Shawn Michaels in a Buried Alive Match. Taker and Shamrock gain the upper hand in this contest against DX but DX fight back and start wearing down Shamrock, but a belly to belly suplex by Shamrock takes Triple H down and Shamrock makes the tag to The Undertaker who cleans house going to town on HBK and Triple H. Taker hits snake eyes on Triple H and follows it up with a big boot and a leg drop combination. But Shawn breaks up the three count. Shamrock gets in the ring and tries to hit Shawn with a Belly to Belly Suplex but Triple H hits him with a cheap shot. Michaels and Hunter then take Shamrock out of the ring and go back to work on The Phenom. Michaels and Hunter whip Taker off the ropes but Undertaker hits a double clothesline of his own. Undertaker grabs Hunter by the throat and hits a chokeslam and he scoops Hunter up for the Tombstone Piledriver and connects with it. 1. 2. 3. And The Undertaker and Ken Shamrock have won the match. Winners: The Undertaker and Ken Shamrock
After The Match. Just as Taker starts to celebrate. Michaels comes from behind to attack Undertaker and Michaels whips Undertaker into the ropes but Taker reverses it and goes for a chokeslam on Michaels but here comes Chyna with a double sledge on The Undertaker but it doesn't faze him. Taker then grabs Chyna by the throat and attempts to take her for the ride. But Michaels sneaks in with a low blow and Michaels hits Undertaker with Sweet Chin Music, meanwhile Helmsley just got up and hits Shamrock with the European Title Belt on the outside. And now Michaels and Helmsley are destroying The Undertaker, The Undertaker may not even make it to D-Generation X. Then suddenly, the lights go out in the arena as Kane's music hits the stage and pyro explodes and there he is. Kane. Kane is here on RAW is WAR. But the question is is he here to save The Undertaker or help DX end The Undertaker tonight. Michaels and Helmsley continue to go to work on Undertaker, but here comes Kane. Kane grabs Shawn by the throat and Helmsley charges at him and hammers away at Kane but the right hands don't even faze Kane. Helmsley runs off the ropes and Kane hits a clothesline knocking Helmsley down. Michaels then gets up and hits Kane with Sweet Chin Music and Michaels celebrates thinking he's taking both Kane and The Undertaker down, but Kane sits up and so does The Undertaker. Both brothers just sat up can you believe it. Shawn tries escaping the ring but look at this. Undertaker has picked up Shawn and he's chokeslammed him to the mat. Helmsley gets up and Kane delivers a chokeslam to him as well. Chyna tries to go after Kane with a double sledge and then she hits him with a right hand but that right hand does not faze Kane. Kane then grabs Chyna by the throat, but wait he scoops Chyna up. The fans are cheering for what's about to happen to Chyna. TOMBSTONE!. Kane just tombstoned the Evil Woman to the ground. Look at the carnage Kane and The Undertaker have left again similar to what they did to the New Age Outlaws. But are they reunited?. Kane gets out of the ring and The Undertaker is looking confused at what is going on. But just as Kane starts to leave. Kane then puts his hand out in some sort of bond or friendship to his brother, Taker then starts to see what's going on and then kneels down on one knee doing his signature pose and pyros go off, and ladies and gentlemen. Kane and The Undertaker have united, What A moment on RAW is WAR and for the first time in his life, The Undertaker has a smile on his face, when have we ever seen The Undertaker smile like that?. It looks like Shawn Michaels's reign as champion is doomed. But can Shawn turn back the challenge of The Undertaker and Kane?. Taker then grabs the WWF Championship and raises it up.
Backstage, Vince McMahon is walking, The Boss who took the Stone Cold Stunner is about to make his way to the ring to address the WWF fans. What is he going to say?.
RAW returns from a break with what we just saw, Kane and The Undertaker have finally formed a bond and it looks like Shawn Michaels's days as WWF Champion may be numbered.
Returning to The Arena. Vince McMahon makes his way to the ring and there are a few World Wrestling Federation Superstars surrounding the ring except for Stone Cold, Kane, Undertaker and DX. The fans are not generally receptive to Vince McMahon for what he did in Montreal. McMahon says that as everyone knows here in the World Wrestling Federation that the cat is out of the bag, a lot of people have referred to him as the Commentator, but he is simply known as the Owner of the World Wrestling Federation. And he earned that in the 80s when he created WrestleMania I for the fans. He created the ones like Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper, Randy Savage, Ultimate Warrior, Andre The Giant, The Junkyard Dog and others because without them there would not be World Wrestling Federation. But it's because people like them they left the WWF to go for greener pastures to go to that "wrassling" business, a reference to WCW. All this time, he's tried to please people behind the scenes. And with the new era that everybody is in. He still wants to please people, but those people like Stone Cold Steve Austin, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and others are not going to disrespect him like that. Last week. Owen Hart came after him and beat him up, and tonight. Stone Cold Steve Austin stuns him again just like he did at Madison Square Garden. He spat on his father's empire last September and he spat on it again tonight. McMahon says that this is not the WWF that he's used to seeing. And if people have hatred or grief for what he did in Montreal with Bret Hart. Then that's too damn bad. Because Bret Hart deserved it, Shawn Michaels didn't screw Bret Hart. Vince McMahon never screwed Bret Hart. Bret Hart screwed Bret Hart and if Bret ever came back to the World Wrestling Federation again. He would simply slap him in the face. And yet everyone calls Vince McMahon a victim for what he did. Well guess who's the victim in all this. Bret Hart. Bret Hart played the victim card and he wanted to desecrate the WWF by trying to take the WWF Championship from that good ol "wrassling" business. But Vince refused to let Bret take the WWF Championship from him. And so he did what he had to do was to ensure that Montreal would be Bret Hart's last night in the company. But ever since then, there's been violence and there's been people pointing the finger at him. Just like Owen Hart. Just like Stone Cold Steve Austin. And The Undertaker as well. Vince says that he brought these superstars in the company and he can damn sure fire them because nobody crosses or threatens Vince McMahon and gets away with it. Vince says that with all of it being said. He Hopes All Of The Fans in Springfield, Massachusetts enjoys D-Generation X. Because he's going to enjoy it and he will be there behind the scenes. McMahon tells the crowd in Roanoke to have a good night and enjoy the PPV in their homes in Roanoke. Then suddenly, the crowd goes nuts because Owen Hart has jumped into the ring and he's going after McMahon again. Owen Hart is here. Owen Hart just tackled the WWF Chairman down to the mat. Patterson and Brisco run off but look at Owen Hart, he just knocked both of them down. Commissioner Slaughter tries reasoning with him but Owen shoves him down. Vince tries to run for his life but Owen tackles him to the mat and starts to beat the absolute hell out of Vince. Ross is screaming "Owen Hart is kicking the hell out of Vince McMahon because of what Vince did to his brother Bret at Montreal". Security then eventually appear and tackle Owen and here come some more police officers but look at this Owen is out of Security's grasp and starts to escape from where he came from. Vince is on his feet and he starts looking for Owen. Vince is telling Security to find Owen. Vince is livid and furious, but wait a minute the cameras cut to Backstage with Owen Hart making his way to the DX Locker Room with a baseball bat in hand. Owen is furious and he's not only angry with Vince McMahon. But he's angry with Shawn Michaels and Triple H cause they were the brains of the whole operation at the Survivor Series. Owen cracks the door in half with the ball bat and he enters it and he sees Shawn and Triple H. Triple H charges at him but Owen hits him with the bat and then he tries charging at Shawn but Shawn starts to get away and starts to help Triple H up. Chyna starts to go with them despite being tombstoned by Kane. How is she still on her feet after that?. Owen starts chasing Michaels, Triple H and Chyna straight to the parking lot. Michaels, Hunter and Chyna get in a vehicle but wait, Owen enters the vehicle and goes right for Triple H. Owen rams Triple H into the vehicle wall while Shawn is in the driver's seat. All hell has broken loose once again here on RAW is WAR. Owen then finally gets his hands on Shawn by attacking him and throws him out of the vehicle and wait Owen just got the vehicle. Ohhh my god, is he going to run over Shawn and Triple H?. It looks like Owen is going to try to run over Shawn Michaels and makes sure that he doesn't make it to D-Generation X for his buried alive match with The Undertaker. Owen starts the vehicle up and it looks like he's going to do it, but suddenly the Cops's voices are heard and Owen hears it and eventually he gets out of the vehicle and look at this Owen is surrendering to police. Vince McMahon is there as well. Vince starts screaming saying "Take his ass to jail". The cops start to arrest Owen similar to last week but Michaels gets to his feet and hits Owen with a right hand that the cops have to restrain Michaels as well. The police eventually get Owen to the car with Michaels and Helmsley screaming at him. Michaels and Helmsley watch the cop car leave as they tell Owen to "suck it". Michaels then sees Vince McMahon and gets in the face of Vince and tells Vince that as far as the Buried Alive Match goes this Sunday. He wants to invite Owen Hart to D-Generation X so that Owen can publically see what Michaels will do to The Undertaker at Buried Alive if Vince can make it happen. RAW goes off the air with Vince having a stressed and worried look on his face. What A Bad Night for the Chairman.

Free For All: There were No Matches, but there was a promo by The Undertaker from the gravesite saying that he would take Shawn Michaels's soul to the darkside and become the World Wrestling Federation Champion for the fourth time and that Shawn Michaels wouldn't be able to see 1998. WWF IN YOUR HOUSE: D-GENERATION X: - December 7, 1997 Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler are your hosts for DX: In Your House, they announce 5 Championships on the line. Match 1: Steve Blackman vs Marc Mero w/Sable DX kicks off with a hard hitting match between Steve Blackman and Marc Mero. Mero has been distracted enough lately with Sable getting much attention from the fans. Mero and Blackman exchange back and forth with punches and kicks. Both men have boxing style in this match. Mero somehow is able to fight back and continue the momentum in this contest. However Mero is still distracted with the attention of the fans cheering for Sable. Mero hits a powerslam on Blackman but Blackman is able to kick out at 2. Blackman fights back and hits a clothesline on Mero to regain the momentum back in this match. Mero fights back and attempts a German Suplex but Blackman hits a German Suplex of his own and goes for the cover but Mero kicks out at 2. Mero fights back and goes for a hurracarana but Blackman hits a spinebuster and goes for the cover but Mero is able to kick out at 2. Mero rakes the eyes and goes for a clothesline but Blackman goes for the Fisherman's Suplex but Mero rolls out of the way and hits a DDT on Blackman. Mero covers Blackman but only gets a 2 count. Blackman is able to battle back and this has been a back and forth match. Blackman sends Mero to the outside and attempts a right hand but Mero uses Sable as a shield and that allows Mero to hit Blackman with a cheap shot behind the referee's back. Mero then tosses Blackman back in the ring and goes for the TKO but Blackman counters it and hits a dragon sleeper and look at this Mero has tapped out. Mero's plan has backfired and Steve Blackman has won the match. Winner: Steve Blackman Backstage, A limousine is pulling up to the arena and the limo opens up to reveal D-Generation X. Shawn Michaels and Triple H both have big matches tonight, first. Triple H faces Ken Shamrock for the European Championship and Shawn Michaels faces The Undertaker in a Buried Alive Match for the World Wrestling Federation Championship. A clip is shown of the Light Heavyweight Division set to "Tubthumping" by Chumbawamba. Tonight 10 Light Heavyweights will battle for the Light Heavyweight Championship as it will be Tajiri, Jushin Thunder Liger, Taka Michinoku, Jinsei Shinzaki, Brian Christopher, Devon Storm, Scott Taylor, Pantera, Aguila and Super Loco.
Match 2: 10-Man Light Heavyweight Gauntlet Match for the Light Heavyweight Championship. Taka Michinoku vs Jushin Thunder Liger vs Devon Storm vs Brian Christopher vs Scott Taylor vs Pantera vs Aguila vs Super Loco vs Jinsei Shinzaki vs Tajiri The Light Heavyweight Championship is back for the first time in four years since 1993. And remember the rules of the gauntlet match is 2 men enter and every 2 minutes another participant enters, almost a kin to the Royal Rumble Match. But you don't have to throw your opponent over the top rope, you can eliminate your opponent by pinfall or submission as a ruling by Sgt. Slaughter. Taka Michinoku and Brian Christopher start the match off as the two go straight at it. Lawler of course is rooting for Christopher to try to eliminate Taka Michinoku. Christopher almost does but Taka is able to kick out at 2. Taka tosses Christopher to the outside and hits a suicide dive on Christopher and brings him back in the ring. The 3rd entrant is Super Loco. Loco gets in the ring and hits a diving dropkick on both Christopher and Michinoku. Loco comes in a house of fire but Christopher stops his momentum by hitting a bodyslam and follows it up with a leg drop off the top rope to eliminate Loco by pinfall. And now it resumes to Taka & Christopher until another entrant arrives and it's Aguila. Aguila shows his stuff against Christopher and Taka and Aguila tosses both Christopher and Taka over the top rope so that Aguila can hit a diving cross body on both competitors on the outside. Aguila goes for a German Suplex on Taka inside but Taka hits a dropkick knocking Aguila down, and here comes Scott Taylor. He is entrant #5. Scott and Brian surprisingly work together against Aguila and Taka and Scott hits a bulldog on Aguila to eliminate him. And look at this, Scott and Brian are now going after Taka. Taka does his best to fight back but Taka gets overwhelmed by both of them. Scott and Brian both go for the cover but Taka kicks out. Tajiri enters at #6 to save his Japanese Friend. Tajiri knocks Scott out of the ring while Taka does the same thing to Christopher and Tajiri and Taka begin to go at it, but here comes #7 and it's Pantera. Pantera chops away at both Tajiri and Taka and also does the same to Scott & Brian. Pantera hits a swinging hurracarana on Tajiri and goes for the cover but Tajiri kicks out. #8 is Jinsei Shinzaki and he comes in a house of fire giving his career here in the WWF 2 years ago. Shinzaki hits a jumping apron clothesline on Pantera and goes for the cover but Pantera kicks out at 2. Devon Storm is now the next entrant at #9. He hits a sitout inverted suplex slam on Tajiri and hammers away at everyone, and we know who the final entrant is and here he comes, Jushin Thunder Liger enters the ring as the last entrant at #10. Liger goes to work on everyone including his buddy Tajiri. Storm tries a DDT on Liger but Liger reverses it and hits the Ligerbomb on Storm and eliminates him and now it's down to 7. Tajiri goes for a move on Shinzaki but Shinzaki hits a german suplex on Tajiri and nails a diving headbutt taking Tajiri down and Tajiri is eliminated. And now it's down to 6. Pantera is the next to be eliminated by Taka Michinoku after a Michinoku Driver, and it's down to 5. Taka, Brian, Scott, Shinzaki and Liger. But it doesn't last long as Liger eliminates Shinzaki after the Ligerbomb. And we are down to four. But as Liger celebrates the elimination. Christopher comes from behind and rolls him up to get the next elimination. It's down to Scott & Brian & Taka. And Scott & Brian resume their 2 on 1 double team against Taka. Taka is able to fight back and eventually knocks Brian out of the ring. Scott goes for a move on Michinoku but Michinoku hits the Michinoku Driver on Scott to eliminate him, and look at this, it is down to the 2 that started the match. Taka and Christopher. Christopher and Taka must be exhausted, the two exchange blows but Taka gets the better of them and both men hit each other with a double clothesline, but remember there must be a winner. Both men get to their feet. Christopher attempts a bodyslam but Taka grabs Christopher and nails him with the Michinoku Driver and Taka wins the Light Heavyweight Championship by last eliminating Christopher and what a victory for Taka. Tony Garea, Gerald Brisco and Pat Patterson come to the ring to award Taka Michinoku the Light Heavyweight Championship while the Japanese Press photograph the moment. Winner and New WWF Light Heavyweight Champion: Taka Michinoku A promo is shown for Saturday Night's Main Event for December 27, 1997. Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross talk about Saturday Night's Main Event for 1997. When suddenly Goldust's music plays in the arena as he and Luna Vachon show up. Goldust's match is up next. Luna has a microphone and tells everyone to shut the hell up and that Goldust wants to express himself in verse. Goldust says that this is a little ditty that he wrote with a child and that he'd share with everyone if they could all shut up. Goldust has a book in hand as he is reading "Green Eggs and Ham" by Dr. Seuss and he continues to read it in the ring as he tells people to shut the hell up. Luna then shoves Goldust and tells Goldust that he's got a match with Sycho Sid. Goldust thanks the fans.
Match 3: Goldust w/Luna Vachon vs Sycho Sid w/Marlena Well Goldust may have read "Green Eggs and Ham" pretty well, but he pretty much read something wrong as Marlena is by Sycho Sid's side. We haven't seen Marlena since Goldust kicked her to the curb the night after Survivor Series. Goldust tries to beg for Marlena's forgiveness but Sid grabs him by the throat and chokeslams him to the mat. Luna starts to distract Sid but Marlena grabs her by the legs and tackles her to the ground as the King starts screaming "CAT FIGHT" "CAT FIGHT!". Sid then picks up Goldust and powerbombs him to the mat. Sid pins Goldust to get the win, and what a victory for Sycho Sid and he didn't even break a sweat. Winner: Sycho Sid
After the Match. Marlena hands Sycho Sid a wad of money and kisses him on the cheek for a job well done. Sid leaves the ring but Marlena sees Goldust on his knees begging for forgiveness. But Marlena just slaps him in the mouth, Revenge for Marlena. Goldust deserves it. Luna gets in the ring but Marlena is able to leave the ring.
A clip is shown for the next match between Mankind and Terry Funk with "Bullet with Butterfly Wings" by the Smashing Pumpkins. It dates back to the history from last year and at WrestleMania 13 with Mankind defeating Terry Funk, but tonight. This may be brutal similar to WrestleMania 13.
Kevin Kelly interviews Mankind about his unsanctioned match with Terry Funk. Mankind says that Terry Funk was and always is the reason why he thrives on hardcore. But he made this very personal when he mentioned that he was still the king of Hardcore. Well at WrestleMania 13. Mankind didn't do enough to shut him up. But now at D-Generation X: In Your House. He's going to get the job done this time. and if it involves thumbtacks, a barbedwire bat, and other sharp metallical objects then that is what he will do. Mankind says that he hopes after that match, he and Terry are still friends.
Match 4: Unsanctioned Match Mankind vs Terry Funk This is going to be brutal between these two, But it may be like WrestleMania all over again, and remember this feud started last year, it all started when Mankind bodyslammed Terry Funk through a barbedwire board and that's what started it all. Mankind and Funk start their fight way on the entryway and this match has no disqualifactions, no countouts. The referee is here to let these two go. Funk has the baseball bat that he carried with him on his way to the ring and hits Mankind in the ribs with it and it's going to be brutal and physical folks. Funk rams Mankind into the barricade and goes for a move but Mankind elbows him in the face and tosses him into the steel steps. Mankind then goes under the ring and finds a trashcan and Mankind smacks him in the face with it. Mankind tosses Funk back in the ring and Mankind goes under the ring to find more weapons and he does but Funk surprises Mankind with a chair shot to the back and Funk goes for the cover but Mankind kicks out at 2. Funk then punches away at Mankind and Funk is being aggressive in the outgoings of the match. Funk then takes out a turnbuckle pad and is looking to ram Mankind's face into the protective steel but Mankind reverses it and Funk goes into the protective steel and Mankind punches away at Funk and he grabs something from under the ring and it's a Stop Sign. Mankind hits Funk in the face with it and goes for the cover again but Funk kicks out at 2. And Funk has been busted open in this matchup. Funk starts to fight back and starts punching away at Mankind and throws him down to the mat with a hair pull and Funk goes under the ring and look at what Funk has. It's the Barbedwire Board that Mankind used to slam Funk with last year. Funk grabs Mankind and attempts to slam him on the barbedwire board and he does, that's the same taste that Funk received last year, but the roles have been reversed this year. The ref asks Mankind if he wants to continue and Mankind says yes. Funk then pulls something from under his pocket and it's a steel chain. Funk wraps the chain up and hits Mankind many times with it. Funk then punches away at Mankind and Funk goes for another punch with the chain but Mankind blocks it and hits him with a punch of his own and the chain falls out of Funk's hands. Mankind whips Funk into the ropes and goes for a back body drop but Funk counters it into a swinging neckbreaker. Funk then grabs some more weapons and he has the baseball bat he used earlier and Funk is looking to use it on Mankind's anatomy but Mankind rolls out of the way. Funk goes for the baseball bat to the head but Mankind ducks and hits an atomic drop followed by a knee to the face. Mankind then runs off the ropes and clotheslines Funk and himself over the top rope to the floor and the two are fighting once again on the outside and Funk tries to go for a piledriver on the concrete but Mankind backdrops out of it. Mankind then tosses Funk into the barricade into the WWF fans. And Mankind and Funk are fighting right through a sea of WWF fans and look at this they are fighting right in that Graveyard, the same graveyard that will be used for Shawn Michaels & The Undertaker tonight. Funk then grabs some dirt and throws dirt in the eyes of Mankind and then grabs a folding chair and hits Mankind in the back with it. Funk then grabs Mankind and tosses him in the ring and then goes under the ring to find himself a Toolbox. Funk opens the toolbox up and grabs a long metal wrench and Funk goes for a swing but Mankind ducks and Mankind takes the wrench and hits Funk in the shoulder with it and again to the back. Mankind then gets out of the ring and goes under the ring and he's got a 2X4 but look it's wrapped in Barbedwire. Funk is seeing this right before his eyes and Funk tries to get out of the ring but it's no use. Mankind hits Funk with the 2X4 wrapped in Barbedwire. And Funk rolls out of the ring and Funk tries to take a breather on the steps but Mankind is still charging at him and as Mankind tries to go after him with the bat. Funk drop toe holds the Deranged One into the steel steps. Funk then rips Mankind's mask off and look at this. Funk is tossing Mankind into the steel steps harder without his mask and Mankind has been busted open and at some point the referee has to step in there and stop this match. Funk grabs Mankind back into one side and snap suplexes Mankind onto concrete. Funk spits on Mankind's face and Funk picks up Mankind and tosses him in the ring and Funk gets in the ring and picks up the toolbox and look at this, it's skewers. Goodness gracious. For the love of all that is holy!. Please stop this match. Funk then starts to jam them into Mankind's head and starts chopping Mankind with the skewers and now Funk has scissors as well. Mankind just took the skewers off and Funk whips Mankind into the ropes and hits Mankind with the scissors. This match has to end. Funk then goes under the ring and he picks up a table and Places it under the ring. Funk tries to whip Mankind into the table but Mankind ducks and Funk goes into the table and the table broke. Mankind finally had the last gasp in this match. Mankind and Funk have just beaten the holy hell out of each other. Mankind then tosses Funk over the top rope to the floor. Mankind then scoops up Funk and bodyslams him on the concrete. Mankind then gets on the apron and hits the signature apron elbow drop taking Funk down. Mankind tosses Funk back in the ring and look at this Mankind has picked up a sandbag and I think you know what this means. It's Thumbtacks. Thousands and Thousands of Thumbtacks. Mankind throws the tacks into the ring and Mankind picks Funk up and Mankind throws right hands on Funk and Funk may fall down on those tacks. He may go down. Mankind runs off the ropes but Funk powerslams him onto the tacks. Mankind is now a human pin cushion. Somebody please call the match off. Funk then grabs the pin cushioned Mankind and goes to piledrive him to the mat but Mankind fights out of it and look at this Mankind has a lot of fight left in him. Mankind hits Funk with a double arm DDT and Mankind is now looking for the Mandible Claw and he's got it in Funk's throat. But wait Funk has the wrench again and Funk hits Mankind in the face with it but Mankind still has it synched in and Funk hits him for a second time and Funk breaks out of the Mandible Claw and Mankind goes down and Mankind gets up only for Funk to hit him with the wrench again. Mankind gets up one more time but Funk nails him with a steel chair and Mankind goes down. Funk then picks the chair up on Mankind's chest and Funk goes to the top rope and he hits a moonsault off the top rope onto the chair. Funk covers Mankind and pins him to get the win and mercifully it's over. Winner: Terry Funk
Funk gets his hand raised but it looks like it's not over yet. Funk grabs Mankind and Funk goes for a right hand but Mankind fights back and hammers away at Funk and Funk retreats out of the ring. Mankind grabs the steel chair that Funk used with the moonsault and hits Funk in the back with it outside of the ring. This is not over by any means. Mankind then rips off part of the concrete padding and Mankind wants to end this right here and now. Mankind then grabs Funk and goes for the piledriver but Funk hits a low blow on Mankind. Funk then picks up Mankind and DDT's the Deranged One to the mat and Funk has a sadistic smile on his face. Funk then picks up Mankind one more time and piledrives him onto the exposed padding of the concrete. Mankind has to be injured again. Funk stops the beatdown and screams in Mankind's face and leaves the arena while officials have to check up on Mankind. What a war these two have been put through, but a poor show of sportsmanship for Terry Funk.
A clip is shown for the Royal Rumble which will happen on January 18, 1998.
Back to the arena and Mankind is being helped by the EMT's as Mankind is being taken on a stretcher backstage. And just as they are about to put Mankind into the ambulance. Funk stops them and starts to attack the EMT's and Funk just beats the hell out of Mankind again while he is strapped on that gurney. Funk then rams the gurney over and over again and Mankind gets thrown into the boxes that he gets thrown off that gurney. Funk starts screaming at Mankind and says we're not done yet. Funk then bodyslams Mankind onto a pile of boxes and look at this Funk sees a ladder and climbs untop and he hits a moonsault onto Mankind one more time and it looks like it hurt Funk too. Funk is writhing in pain but has a sick smile on his face saying that now it's done. Officials and referees both check on Funk and Mankind as we cut back to the arena with the commentators in disgust to what Terry Funk did to Mankind.
Match 5: 10-Man Tag Team Match The Nation of Domination vs 8-Ball, Chainz, Skull, Mosh & Thrasher This is pretty much going to be a 10-Man Tag War. But the crowd are not into it much cause of the Hardcore Brutality that they just saw and the after match attack. The cameras cut to see Mankind placed into another gurney and you really gotta feel for Mick Foley at this time. The match ends with The Rock getting the win for the Nation after Faarooq hit Chainz with the Dominator but The Rock stole the tag and pins Chainz to get the win. But is there a sense of jealousy between The Nation of Domination?. It looks that way. Winners: The Nation of Domination[/font]
Michael Cole interviews Vader about his match against Dan Severn. Vader says that first off he hopes his friend Mick Foley is okay. But moving on to Dan Severn & Jim Cornette. Jim Cornette brought him to the WWF in 1995 to make him a monster and he was that monster when he won the World Wrestling Federation Championship two times over Razor Ramon and Shawn Michaels. He brought home the bacon in Camp Cornette, but where did it get him. It got him nowhere because Cornette never liked him just like he didn't like anyone and now he brings Dan Severn and Jeff Jarrett in to do his bidding. Well tonight he is going to take care of Dan Severn and show him who the real beast is, and then after that. He's going to make his New Year's Resolution, because he is officially going to declare himself into the 1998 Royal Rumble Match and throw 29 superstars over the top rope and become WWF Champion for the third time and 1998 will be Vader Time all over again.
Match 6: Vader vs Dan Severn w/Jim Cornette This should be a hard hitting matchup between these two giants. Vader punches away at Severn but Severn punches back and both these men are exchanging blows with one another. Severn whips Vader into the ropes but Vader reverses it and hits a dropkick knocking Severn down and nails him with another dropkick and Vader sends him over the top rope to the floor with a clothesline. Cornette starts to talk strategy into Severn. Severn gets back in this match and hits a top rope shoulder tackle taking Vader down but only gets a 2 count. Severn continues this dominance over Vader but Vader fights back but as he tries to. Severn hits him with a powerslam and goes for the cover again but Vader kicks out still at 2. Vader eventually makes a comeback in this match and chokeslams Severn to the mat but Severn kicks out at 2 and what a seesaw battle that we have seen between these two. Cornette begins to distract Vader but Vader grabs him by the throat and Severn charges at Vader but Vader sees it coming and Severn and Cornette have a miscommunication and Vader takes advantage of that situation and hits a german suplex taking Severn down but Severn kicks out at 2. Severn fights back and hits Vader with a clothesline almost beheading him. Severn then runs off the ropes and hits a leg drop on Vader but Vader kicks out at 2 again. Severn then goes for the Dragon Sleeper but Vader fights out of it and kicks Severn in the gut and nails him with the Powerbomb and Vader goes to the top rope and could he go for the Vaderbomb?. But wait a minute the referee is distracted by Cornette and it looks like Cornette just handed Severn his tennis racket and Vader sees Cornette distracting the referee and Vader grabs him again but Severn gets to his feet and Vader turns around only for Severn to smack him in the head with that tennis racket. The referee didn't see it. Severn then locks Vader in the dragon sleeper and look at this Vader may be passed out here. The referee rings the bell and Vader didn't tap out but he passed out cause of that tennis racket. Severn has beaten the former 2-time WWF Champion, but not without controversy!. Winner: Dan Severn
After we see somebody walking to the arena in the stands and that looks like Owen Hart!. Remember it was Shawn Michaels that said to Vince McMahon on RAW is WAR to invite Owen Hart here and it looks like he's here, and it looks like he's getting a front row seat here tonight.
Backstage, DX are watching Owen Hart on a monitor as they begin to smile, Michael Cole begins to talk to them. Michaels is the first to speak and says that he did say to Vince McMahon that he wanted Owen Hart to come to the show so that he can get a personal front row seat to what Michaels would do to The Undertaker in a Buried Alive Match and it looks like Owen went through with it. Michaels says that he hopes Owen stays in that seat so that he can watch personally when Michaels buries The Undertaker alive for good and sends him out of the WWF and then maybe after. He can talk to Owen about how responsible and bad he felt in Montreal when he drove Bret Hart out of the World Wrestling Federation. Triple H then speaks and says that he agrees with Shawn. Owen can stay in his seat if he knew what was good for him. Because there's a lot of security and a lot of police officers that could just lock Owen up like they did last Monday Night. Triple H says that speaking of locking up. He's going to put Ken Shamrock on lockup when he makes Shamrock his personal bitch because there is no way Shamrock is going to make him tap out to the anklelock.
Match 7: WWF Tag Team Championship Match The New Age Outlaws vs The Legion of Doom vs The Blackjacks Before the New Age Outlaws's entrance. The New Age Outlaws start to see Owen in the stands and begin to berate Owen for his brother's downfall in Montreal. Owen starts to get out of his seat but security hold him back and that gives The LOD and the Blackjacks time to go after them. Remember in this Triple Threat Tag Team Match. You can tag someone in if you can, but the team cannot beat each other. But the Champions do have an advantage to lose by DQ or countout and they will still remain the Tag Team Champions, but for some reason the crowd is not into the match at all. Although it's a good Triple Threat Match. LOD almost have the victory and the match won by hitting the Doomsday Device on Bradshaw but Billy sneaks up from behind and hits the Rocker Dropper on Animal to get the win and retain the Tag Team Championship. Winners and Still Tag Team Champions: The New Age Outlaws
Kevin Kelly interviews Vince McMahon and asks him about Owen Hart being here tonight. Vince says that for arguments sake, he just hopes that Owen Hart doesn't cause a ruckus in the next match for the European Championship between Triple H and Ken Shamrock because there is a personal issue between Owen Hart and D-Generation X and he cannot be held responsible cause if Owen Hart pulls a stunt like this, he might personally have to go after Owen or fire him. But tonight, he's here because he's got some business to attend to and that is Stone Cold Steve Austin!. He gets that Jarrett has Austin's Intercontinental Title Belt, but Vince says that he's made a new ruling for his match with Jarrett, should Austin get himself disqualified or counted out and he's talked to Sgt. Slaughter about this, Austin will be stripped of the Intercontinental Title if he is disqualified or counted out and the title will be awarded to Jeff Jarrett.
Michael Cole interviews Ken Shamrock about his match with Hunter Hearst Helmsley. Shamrock says that ever since he came to the World Wrestling Federation. Things have changed, He was the 1997 King of The Ring. But a lot of people have talked about D-Generation X. They talked about how they screwed Bret Hart out of the WWF. But the fact still remains that they are bullies in the World Wrestling Federation, now when Shamrock came to the WWF. He beat the bullies and now tonight Hunter Hearst Helmsley has the European Championship and he's looking to snatch that belt away from him and after he does that. He heard that Vader was going to be the first man to enter the 1998 Royal Rumble. Well if Vader's going to the Royal Rumble Match. Then so is the World's Most Dangerous Man and he'll be entering that match as the European Champion and throw out 29 other participants and go on to WrestleMania 14 and become the World Wrestling Federation Champion whoever it is.
Match 8: WWF European Championship Match Ken Shamrock vs Hunter Hearst Helmsley w/Chyna Just after Hunter's entrance. Hunter stares down Owen that distracts Hunter a little bit that Shamrock attempts a Belly to Belly but Hunter rolls out of the way and leaves the ring. Hunter gets in the ring as he and Shamrock locks up. Hunter has the advantage but Shamrock throws him down to the mat with a shoulder block. Helmsley is very distracted to see what Owen may do. Shamrock takes advantage of the match and just as he goes for the anklelock. Helmsley rolls out of the way. Helmsley is able to get back the momentum after a distraction by Chyna. Helmsley then tosses Shamrock into the steel steps and continues to stare down at Owen again. Helmsley starts to go to work on Shamrock and tosses him back in the ring. Helmsley hits an elbow on the apron knocking Shamrock down. Helmsley continues to gain the momentum even as he is still distracted by Owen. Shamrock somehow battles back but Helmsley slows Shamrock's momentum down by hitting a spinebuster on Shamrock but Shamrock kicks out at 2. Helmsley then continues the matchup by locking Shamrock in a sleeper hold but Shamrock breaks out of the sleeper hold and hits a back suplex on Helmsley taking him down. Shamrock makes a comeback in the match and hits a powerslam on Helmsley but Helmsley kicks out at 2. And what a scientific European Championship battle that this has been between these two. Helmsley gets back the momentum with a poke to the eye and a DDT on Shamrock but Shamrock kicks out at 2. Helmsley sets up for the pedigree but Shamrock catapults Helmsley into the top turnbuckle and Shamrock hits a belly to belly and goes for the cover but Helmsley kicks out at 2 again. And what an entertaining matchup these two have put on. Shamrock whips Helmsley into the buckle but Helmsley reverses it and bumps Shamrock into the referee. Helmsley then runs off the ropes and hits a high knee taking the challenger down. Helmsley then gets out of the ring and picks up the European Championship Belt and looks at Owen in the face. Owen tries to grab the European Title Belt but Helmsley shoves him off of his seat and the referee is back to his feet. Helmsley tries to hit Shamrock with the European Title but Shamrock nails Helmsley with a Belly to Belly Suplex and Shamrock is in the zone. Shamrock looks to grab Helmsley's ankle and he's got the anklelock locked in on Helmsley. Will Helmsley Tap?. But wait a minute there's Chyna. Chyna enters the ring and hits Shamrock with a shot to the back and the referee has called for the bell. Winner By DQ: Ken Shamrock, but still European Champion: Hunter Hearst Helmsley
Helmsley & Chyna start to beatdown Shamrock but wait a minute, Owen Hart has jumped out of his seat and he just punched a security guard. Owen gets in the ring and tackles Helmsley to the mat. Owen Hart is incensed and he is punching away at Helmsley. Chyna retreats out of the ring. Referees and officials and Gerald Brisco, Pat Patterson and Vince McMahon and Sgt. Slaughter enters the ring. And here come Police Officers. Owen sees what's going on and Owen holds his hands up as if he surrenders. Owen then tries to tackle Vince McMahon but the cops quickly tackle him to the ground and arrest Owen. Owen Hart has been arrested once again similar to RAW last Monday Night. The cops begin to haul Owen into the building with Vince screaming at Owen. The cameras see Owen being hauled in handcuffs backstage with Vince screaming at him saying that he's banned from the arena and if he even thinks about coming back tonight, then there will be some severe consequences for Owen. Owen gets hauled into the cop car and the cop car takes off with Owen in it.
A clip is shown of Stone Cold Steve Austin and Jeff Jarrett's rivalry for the Intercontinental Championship set to "Evenflow" by Pearl Jam with Jarrett taking possession of Stone Cold's Intercontinental Title Belt a few weeks ago. Tonight, it's personal as Jeff Jarrett challenges Stone Cold Steve Austin for the Intercontinental Title.
Kevin Kelly interviews Jim Cornette, Dan Severn and Jeff Jarrett. Cornette says that tonight's been a great night, first they took care of that fat buffoon Vader, and now tonight. Jeff Jarrett is not only going to eliminate Stone Cold Steve Austin from the World Wrestling Federation but take his Intercontinental Title as well. Jarrett says that although the Intercontinental Championship is not his for now, he has to say it feels really good with the Intercontinental Title around his waist. And it's going to feel real good when he beats Austin and become the Intercontinental Champion again.
After Jeff Jarrett's entrance and Jarrett making his way to the ring with Dan Severn and Jim Cornette. Stone Cold Steve Austin makes his way out with a pickup truck in the arena. Austin stands untop of it and gets in the ring, but look at this Jarrett and Severn start to attack Austin and the bell hasn't even rung yet.
Match 9: WWF Intercontinental Championship Match Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Jeff Jarrett w/Dan Severn & Jim Cornette The bell has not even sounded and Jarrett & Severn are going right for Austin but what a tremendous entrance by The Rattlesnake. Severn runs off the ropes to try to get at Austin but Austin fights back and tosses Severn into the hood of the truck and knocks Jarrett down with a clothesline and the match is officially underway now that Severn is out of the ring. Austin starts to beat down Jarrett and whips him into the ropes nailing a back elbow taking Jarrett down. Austin then tries to get at Jarrett again but Jarrett escapes out of the ring and Austin is right after him. Austin then hits Jarrett with a right hand and the referee once again is distracted by Cornette so that allows Dan Severn to go after him. Severn tries to whip Austin into his truck but Austin reverses and Severn gets shoved into the truck. Austin has caused damage to his truck as Lawler screams that Austin should be disqualified for using that truck. But it's not similar to a weapon. Jarrett then nails Austin in the face with the title belt while the referee is still distracted by Cornette. Jarrett tosses Austin in the ring and heads to the top rope and nails a cross body on Austin but Austin kicks out at two. Jarrett begins to go for the legs of Austin and we all know the leg injuries of Stone Cold Steve Austin. If Jarrett can go for the figure-four leg lock early and make Austin tap out. Jarrett can win the Intercontinental Title. Jarrett not only goes for the legs but also for the neck. Jarrett whips Austin into the ropes and goes for a back body drop but Austin kicks him in the gut and goes for the stunner but Jarrett throws him off and hits a dropkick knocking Austin down. Jarrett goes for the cover but Austin kicks out at 2 again. Jarrett then locks in a sleeper hold on Austin but Austin is able to break out of the sleeper hold by trying to fight back and uses a sleeper hold of his own but Jarrett hits a suplex on Austin. Jarrett and Austin are both down. Austin gets to his feet and fights back but Jarrett hits a DDT on Austin and Jarrett goes for the cover again but Austin kicks out at 2. Jarrett goes to the top rope again but As he goes for a move. Austin catches him and punches him in the gut and Austin may be fighting back here. Jarrett once again tries to stop Austin's momentum but Austin hits a lou thesz press taking Jarrett down and then drops the elbow. Austin then tosses Jarrett into the buckle and starts to stomp a mudhole in Jarrett's ass and walking it dry. Austin then shoves Jarrett once again into another buckle but Jarrett hits an elbow to the face and Jarrett charges at him but Austin hits a clothesline knocking Jarrett down. Cornette gets on the apron but Austin strikes him with a right hand knocking Cornette down. Jarrett gets to his feet and takes down Austin and goes for the Figure-Four Leg Lock but Austin fights out of it and Jarrett charges at Austin again only to receive the Stone Cold Stunner. Austin covers Jarrett. 1. 2. 3. And Austin is still the Intercontinental Champion!. Jeff Jarrett's plan to thwart Stone Cold Steve Austin has failed and The Rattlesnake is still in control of the prestigious Intercontinental Championship Belt!. Winner and Still Intercontinental Champion: Stone Cold Steve Austin
After the Match. Austin grabs his Intercontinental Title Belt and just as Jarrett is being checked on by Jim Cornette. Austin sees Cornette checking up on Jarrett and he begins to go after him. Austin then grabs Cornette and takes him to his truck and hits a Stone Cold Stunner on the top of the truck. Cornette has been stunned untop of Austin's truck. Austin may still have walked out of D-Generation X as the Intercontinental Champion, but it looks like Vince McMahon may not be happy about Austin using his truck although it was never used as a weapon. But it looks like Stone Cold Steve Austin is still the Intercontinental Champion, but will he throw his name in the hat in the 1998 Royal Rumble Match as well?.
Another clip is shown for the Royal Rumble which will be shown on January 18. 1998 at the Forum in Inglewood, CA.
A clip is shown of Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker, the same clip that was shown from RAW is WAR set to "Down In A Hole" by Alice N' Chains.
The Champion Shawn Michaels comes out first without Hunter Hearst Helmsley & Chyna, it looks like Shawn decided to go into this match alone knowing that he is the underdog cause he might not need help or maybe he's just setting Undertaker up. Michaels does his traditional trademark pose probably for the last time if he's buried alive and Michaels kisses his belt like he's kissing it goodbye and don't forget. The numbers are even because The Undertaker & his brother Kane are united so it could mean worse things for Shawn Michaels, the lights then go out as The Undertaker's music then plays as he emerges from the gravesite. What a spectacular entrance. The Undertaker has appeared from the grave. Undertaker gets out of the grave and walks towards the ring in perhaps one of the most awe inspiring entrances ever. This is The Undertaker's 4th Buried Alive Match in WWF History, he has won 2 and only lost 1. The last time he lost a Buried Alive Match was in October of last year when Mankind defeated him, and the last time he had a Buried Alive Match was in the Summer of July when he defeated Vader to retain the WWF Championship. Taker brings the lights up and stares down Shawn Michaels. Michaels still doesn't seem intimidated and remember the last time Undertaker and Shawn Michaels went one on one was inside Hell in A Cell when Undertaker beat Shawn Michaels to a bloody pulp but could not defeat Shawn due to interference from The Undertaker's brother Kane. But the tables may be turned here tonight.
Match 10: Buried Alive Match for the WWF Championship Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker Michaels charges at The Undertaker only to receive a right hand by The Phenom. Undertaker has waited for this match. Taker shoves Michaels into the buckle and throws right hands and body shots and The Phenom is in control of this match already. Michaels starts to fight back and throws right hands on The Undertaker and Michaels runs off the ropes only to receive a clothesline by the Man From The Darkside. Taker grabs Shawn and tosses him over the top rope to the floor. No doubt The Undertaker wants to right the wrong of what happened in Montreal. Undertaker then goes out of the ring where Shawn is and Taker begins to beat down Shawn sadistically and Undertaker clotheslines Shawn out of the barricade. Shawn tries to run away and tries to use the stands as protection but Undertaker catches him and begins to beat him down. Taker then hits a headbutt on Shawn and tries bringing him back into the barricade but Michaels battles back and steals a fan's water to drink and he spits in The Undertaker's face with it. Michaels and Taker make their way back to the ring where Michaels attempts a move but Undertaker backdrops Michaels back into the barricade. Taker grabs Michaels and tosses him in the ring and hits his signature apron leg drop on the champion. Undertaker doesn't want to bury Michaels alive just yet. First, he wants to mangle Michaels and hurt him so bad to the point that Michaels passes out. Michaels then escapes the ring again and look at this Michaels is trying to get out of the entryway, but The Undertaker sees him and carries him straight into the gravesite. And Undertaker tosses Michaels into the gravesite and remember the winner of the match must bury their opponent into the grave and that is what Undertaker may be doing right now. Taker teases putting Michaels in the grave, but instead he just nails a big boot knocking Michaels out of the grave. Undertaker then carries Michaels back into the ring and then grabs Michaels setting up for the ropewalk but Michaels counters the ropewalk into an impressive armdrag taking Undertaker down to the mat. Michaels may have had the last gasp and Michaels waits for Undertaker to get up and Undertaker gets to his feet only to get knocked down by a clothesline. Michaels heads to the top rope and waits for Undertaker to get up and Michaels goes for a double axe handle and he connects with it and Michaels punches away at the Deadman. Michaels seems to have got his second wind in this match. Michaels then takes Undertaker into the buckle and goes for a ten punch count but Undertaker throws Michaels down and Taker hits a right hand and whips Shawn into the ropes and goes for a back body drop but Michaels counters it into a modified rocker dropper, the same maneuver Billy Gunn does. Undertaker gets to his feet only to recieve a clothesline over the top rope to the floor. Michaels and Taker begin their fight way again on the entryway with Michaels and Undertaker being a long way to the gravesite. Michaels then sends Taker into the gravesite and Michaels hits a right hand and Undertaker goes to fall into the grave but as Michaels tries another right hand. Taker grabs him by the throat and Michaels rakes the eyes of Undertaker and dropkicks Undertaker into the grave. And now Undertaker is in the grave. Michaels begins to start shoveling dirt but Undertaker sits up and rolls out of the grave and grabs Shawn by his hand and throws him into the grave with it and look at this Taker and Shawn are in the grave with Taker throwing right hands at Shawn. Taker goes for a running move in the grave but Shawn kicks him in the face and look at this Shawn is untop of the gravesite stand and hits a flying moonsault taking himself and Taker down into the grave. But remember one man has to be buried alive not both men. Michaels gets to his feet and starts to go for the shovel but Undertaker gets to his feet again and Michaels picks Undertaker up and goes for a suplex into the grave but Undertaker fights out of it and grabs Shawn and goes for a military press slam into the grave but Shawn fights out of it and starts to run out of the grave and The Undertaker is there spotting him. Taker then hammers away at Shawn and Shawn rakes the eyes and tries to send Undertaker into the steel steps but Undertaker counters it and throws the champion into the steel steps and Michaels was sent crashing hard. Taker then picks up the steel steps that he just used and he goes to hit him with it but instead he throws it at the WWF Champion knocking Michaels down. Taker then tosses Michaels into the ring and Michaels may have been busted open from the steel steps. Taker then picks up Michaels and hits a bodyslam and goes for an elbow drop but rolls out of the way. There's no blood for Shawn Michaels. Michaels then hits an atomic drop on Undertaker and hits a chopblock on Undertaker and that's what Michaels has to do, before burying The Undertaker. Michaels then gets out of the ring and grabs a steel chair which is perfectly legal in this No Disqualifaction encounter. Michaels hits Undertaker in the ribs with it and in the back and Michaels then gets out of the ring and grabs the steel steps Undertaker just used. Michaels then picks Undertaker up and goes for a piledriver. Undertaker tries fighting out of it but Michaels hits him with the piledriver and Undertaker's neck may have hurt after being driven into the steel stairs. Michaels then does the "suck it" taunt and kicks him out of the ring. Michaels then grabs Undertaker and it looks like he's going to put him in the grave. Michaels then tosses Undertaker into the gravesite and starts to put him in the grave, Michaels then starts to shovel again but once again The Undertaker gets to his feet and starts to fight back against Shawn. Taker then grabs Shawn with both hands throwing him out of the grave and look at this The Phenom is on his feet and he hits a flying clothesline off the grave taking down Shawn Michaels. Undertaker gets to his feet and Shawn gets to his feet as well and Shawn and Undertaker exchange blows in the entryway and back towards the ring. Shawn rakes the eyes and goes on the apron going for a double axe handle but Undertaker catches him and drives him spine first into the ringpost. Taker then grabs Michaels and tosses him in the ring, but wait a minute here comes Hunter Hearst Helmsley & Chyna. Helmsley gets in the ring and attacks Undertaker. Helmsley and Michaels are now ganging up on Undertaker. Helmsley & Michaels whip Undertaker into the ropes and go for a double clothesline but Undertaker fights back and hits Helmsley & Michaels with right hands and the WWF Champion gets knocked down with a right hand. Taker then whips Helmsley into the ropes and goes for a back body drop but Helmsley hits Taker with a facebuster but that did not faze Undertaker one bit. Undertaker goes for a punch but Helmsley ducks and Undertaker runs into a spinebuster by Helmsley. Michaels then gets to his feet and goes to the top rope and Michaels hits the elbow drop on Undertaker. And Michaels starts to tune up the band and it could be Sweet Chin Music time. Helmsley holds Undertaker up so that Michaels can hit Sweet Chin Music but Undertaker elbows out of Helmsley's hold and hits a headbutt and Michaels attempts the Sweet Chin Music but walks into a sidewalk slam by The Undertaker. Helmsley then gets up and hammers away at Undertaker but Undertaker fights back and whips Helmsley into the ropes but Helmsley reverses it and Helmsley goes for a clothesline but Undertaker hits a diving clothesline of his own knocking down Helmsley. Taker tosses Helmsley over the top rope to the floor. And Taker goes to the outside and picks up the steel steps that he used on Shawn Michaels and Taker uses the steps like a battering ram on Helmsley that Helmsley gets knocked out with. Undertaker gets back in the ring and Michaels goes for a move but Taker hits him with a right hand and whips Shawn into the ropes and nails a high back body drop on Michaels. Undertaker whips Michaels into the buckle and hits a running clothesline in the corner followed by snake eyes and Taker whips Michaels into the ropes and nails a big boot and follows it up with a leg drop. But remember there's no pinfalls or submissions. But Undertaker doesn't care. Taker grabs Shawn by the throat and goes for a chokeslam but Michaels rolls out of the way and counters the Chokeslam into an amazing DDT. What a desperation move by The Heartbreak Kid. Michaels goes to the top rope again but Undertaker gets to his feet and crotches Michaels and Taker goes to the top rope with Michaels and it looks like Undertaker may be going for the superplex and he connects with it. Undertaker and Michaels are both down. Taker then gets to his feet and looks at the gravesite and Taker lifts Shawn and tries to military press slam him over the top rope to the floor but Shawn rolls out of the way and goes for a sunset flip but Undertaker grabs Shawn by the throat and lifts him to the mat with a devastating chokeslam. Undertaker has the match won here!. Taker then looks at the steel chair that Shawn Michaels used and Shawn gets up only for Taker to bash him in the skull with it. Undertaker then signals for the Tombstone Piledriver. And he grabs Shawn and the WWF Champion has been busted open from that steel chair shot. Taker then goes for the Tombstone but wait a minute here come The New Age Outlaws, what are they doing here?. The New Age Outlaws are here to go after Undertaker. Helmsley gets up and look at this, it's a 4 on 1. Undertaker does his best to fight the four men off and he does. But Michaels clotheslines Undertaker over the top and himself out of the ring. Michaels has been busted open but he is still fighting. Undertaker grabs Shawn by the throat but here come The Outlaws and Triple H again. They begin to beat on Undertaker and grab him into the gravesite. But Undertaker won't be denied. Taker starts to fight back and hits The Outlaws and Triple H with right hands and headbutts Shawn to the mat. Taker tosses Gunn into the guardrail and does the same thing to Dogg and Taker tosses Shawn into the gravesite and look at this Undertaker is untop of the gravesite and he signals for the cut throat motion, Taker then picks up Shawn and goes for the tombstone but Chyna comes in with a steel chair shot to The Undertaker's back but that does not faze The Undertaker and Taker stares down Chyna only for Shawn to hit The Deadman with Sweet Chin Music. And Shawn tells Triple H & The Outlaws to get up and Shawn grabs shovels for Triple H & The Outlaws and they start to toss Undertaker into the grave and look at this, they start to bury The Undertaker but Undertaker rises up out of the grave once again. How does he keep doing this. Taker starts to fight off The Outlaws & Helmsley, and Michaels tries to stop Undertaker with the shovel but Undertaker counters and he's got the shovel and Undertaker smashes Michaels in the skull with it. Taker then tosses Shawn into the grave, but before he does. He sees The Outlaws & Helmsley trying to get up and look at this Taker grabs Billy by the throat and chokeslams him through a table. And he does the same thing to Dogg through another table as well. Taker then scoops up Helmsley and tombstones him to the concrete. And now Undertaker has taken care of Shawn Michaels's bigger threats. Michaels gets out of the grave but Undertaker is in there and Michaels tries to grab Undertaker by the legs pleading with him, but Undertaker grabs Shawn and tombstones him to the ground and now Undertaker begins to shove Michaels into the grave. But wait a minute, the lights go out in the arena and what is going on, the lights stay out for 30 more seconds, but then the lights come back on and we see Undertaker get grabbed by the throat by his brother KANE!. What?. Kane has Undertaker by the throat and Paul Bearer is with Kane. And Shawn just rose out of the grave while Kane still has Undertaker by the throat. Kane then chokeslams Undertaker on the ground and why is Kane attacking his own brother again. The Same Brother that kneeled down to him last Monday Night on RAW?. Kane punches away at Undertaker and begins to beat him down that Undertaker falls into the grave. Kane then goes into the grave and picks up Undertaker and tombstones him into the grave. Kane gets out of the grave and look at this, Michaels and The New Age Outlaws and Triple H start to bury Undertaker alive with Kane staring stoically and Paul Bearer laughing. And Kane is helping out too. And The grave is completely filled, the ref has called for the bell. And The Undertaker has been buried alive by his own flesh and blood Kane. Winner and Still WWF Champion: Shawn Michaels
Shawn, The Outlaws and Triple H leave the gravesite while Kane and Paul Bearer laugh at their master plan, it was all a ruse all along. The Undertaker wanted Kane to join him and Kane did but Kane and Paul Bearer played a trick on the Phenom all alone. Kane then grabs a can of gasoline and look at this Kane is pouring the gasoline on the gravesite of The Undertaker. Ohhh my god, The Undertaker's in that grave. Paul Bearer hands the matches to Kane and look at this Kane has set the gravesite on fire. The Gravesite is on fire. The Undertaker is in the grave!. Kane has buried and charred The Undertaker alive, but back in the ring. Shawn Michaels, Triple H and The Outlaws are celebrating with Michaels having a microphone in hand telling the world that they did it, they buried The Undertaker alive. The Undertaker is finally gone from the World Wrestling Federation, and The New Age Outlaws for their help are now permanent and official members of D-Generation X. Shawn says that he feels bad for Owen Hart cause he would've saved him the seat to see what he did to The Undertaker. But Owen tried to ruin everything for DX, but the fact is Owen is locked up in the slammer and probably fighting one of the toughest punks in prison right now. But the fact of the matter is, The Heartbreak Kid will be WWF Champion for a long damn time. And nobody is going to stop D-Generation X from taking what they want and whatever they do. Because that's the way they roll. Then suddenly a scream is heard from the fans. It's Owen Hart!. Owen Hart is back and he's taking down Shawn Michaels. The Outlaws & Triple H try coming for him but Owen knocks them all down. Owen tosses Triple H over the top rope and does the same thing to Billy and Road Dogg. Michaels tries begging off but look at this Owen doesn't care. Owen is beating the living hell out of Shawn Michaels, he may be fired tomorrow. But it looks like he's got nothing to lose. He wants to beat the hell out of Shawn Michaels if this is his last night in the WWF. Owen then locks in the sharpshooter on Michaels. And Michaels is tapping just like he should've been at Montreal. Michaels used the sharpshooter to screw his brother at Survivor Series. But now Michaels is getting a taste of his own medicine and Owen lets go of the hold and leaves the ring but here comes Vince McMahon, Gerald Brisco and Pat Patterson and the cops. The cops once again put the cuffs on Owen Hart. What have we seen here tonight?. We may have seen a grave arson, a dangerous hardcore match and now we could see Owen Hart for the last time, but he may not care because if this was his last night in the WWF. Then he went out with a bang for redemption. Owen then screams at Vince saying "I'll see you tomorrow and whatever consequences you have for me, i'll be ready!. A furious and livid Vince looks at Owen being escorted by cops as DX goes off the air, but what's happened at the gravesite. Is The Undertaker charred?. Is The Undertaker okay?. But whatever has happened. All hell has broken loose here at DX: In Your House, not only has Kane permanately ended The Undertaker for good, but Owen Hart may have permanately crippled Shawn Michaels again as well similar to what he did 2 years ago.

WWF RAW IS WAR - December 8. 1997
Clips are shown from what happened at In Your House: D-Generation X with the end result of the Buried Alive Match of Kane setting Undertaker on fire and Owen Hart free from jail attacking D-Generation X. Tonight, Owen Hart is on RAW is WAR, but what will Vince McMahon do to Owen Hart and plus Kane and Paul Bearer will be here and we hope to get an explaination to what Kane did to The Undertaker last night when Kane set the gravesite on fire, and also Vince McMahon may have consequences for Stone Cold Steve Austin after using a pickup truck as a weapon against Jeff Jarrett at In Your House.
Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross are your hosts for Monday Night RAW as Vince McMahon makes his way to the ring. And what a crazy 24 hours this has been, the commentators talk about the Buried Alive Match and the aftermath between Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker in where officials dug up the grave to try to revive The Undertaker only to reveal that The Undertaker had vanished. And we have not seen The Undertaker since last night. Vince announces that last night at In Your House: D-Generation X was the chaotic scene that ever happened in World Wrestling Federation history, not only did Mick Foley and Terry Funk beat the hell out of each other, but we saw 2 things, he's going to get to the first of these two right now. Now Vince did promise Owen Hart a ticket at DX: In Your House and to behave like a WWF Fan but Owen refused to do so. Now granted the fact that Triple H did provoke Owen Hart in Triple H's match against Ken Shamrock, but Owen was supposed to stay in his seat like a WWF fan. And just when Owen was put in jail, officers reported that Owen Hart broke free from the cuffs and not only that walked back to the arena to attack Shawn Michaels. Vince says that he could've fired Owen on the spot or took Owen to court today, but he didn't. He's not going to fire Owen, not yet. Vince says that he wants Owen to stay in the WWF as long as he defeats an opponent of his choice tonight. And he'll raise the stakes for Owen. Should Owen Hart win against an opponent of his choosing. Then Owen will remain in the WWF and get a WWF Championship Match anywhere, anytime and anyplace. But if Owen loses, then Owen just like his brother Bret will leave the WWF. Now, The second thing that there is no denying the popularity of our Intercontinental Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin. But recently, Stone Cold as of late has gotten away with murder. Vince says that Stone Cold has assaulted WWF Officials, including himself. He attacked WWF Announcers, but last night Stone Cold Steve Austin went too far, because last night Stone Cold Steve Austin endangered the lives of WWF fans by driving his pickup truck all the way into the arena and all the way down into the ring, and furthermore. He used it as a weapon against Jim Cornette. The fans begin to chant for Austin, but Vince asks for attention. So tonight on Monday Night RAW. Stone Cold Steve Austin must defend the Intercontinental Championship again here tonight in a rematch against Jeff Jarrett in a rematch from Last Night. Austin's music plays as he makes his way to the ring with the Intercontinental Title. Austin throws the belt to the ring and it looks like Vince McMahon may be heading to higher ground. McMahon goes to speak to Austin but Austin cuts him off and says that with all the damn explosion going on. Austin thought McMahon ordered to do something, Austin then tells him to shut up and says that Stone Cold does what he wants, when he wants. He doesn't give a rats ass who Vince McMahon is personally. McMahon responds saying that he's the proud owner of the WWF and furthermore, he's Austin's boss. Austin says that it does not impress him one bit and frankly, he could give a damn. McMahon says to make it clear he might give a damn about the consequences if he does not defend the Intercontinental Championship. Austin asks what the consequences could mean. McMahon says that he doesn't need to get into that. Austin says that Vince talks about his consequences like he's a big shot. But Stone Cold's got his own consequences, and if anybody wants to see Vince McMahon gets his ass whooped for the third time, give him a hell yeah. Incase you didn't hear them, they said ohhh hell yeah. McMahon asks about his language that he's been meaning to talk to him about. Austin says that he is trying to apologize and that Vince should give Austin a chance. Austin demands that Vince to hold the damn microphone up, they're not here to talk about his language, only a set of consequences and Stone Cold defending the Intercontinental Championship here tonight. Austin says that he won the match fair and square last night, he ain't going to give him an answer right now. Austin says that Vince worries about his ratings with Austin in the ring. Austin says that he will take his ass backstage, pop a top on the beer. Eat him a hot dog or two, and while he sweats it out and thinks about the consequences. He'll come out later and if he comes back out, somebody's going to get their ass whooped. It might be Jim Ross, the official in his striped shirt, Jeff Jarrett, Jim Cornette, Dan Severn or it could be Vince McMahon's sorry ass. Austin then taunts McMahon as he leaves the ring. But tonight, It will be Austin vs Jarrett once again for the Intercontinental Title and who is Owen Hart going to wrestle tonight?.
(break) Match 1: Tag Team Match The Legion of Doom vs The Blackjacks At In Your House, The LOD and The Blackjacks failed to beat The Outlaws to win the Tag Team Championship, but tonight they will be in a tag team match with one another. This is a pretty good tag team match. The Legion of Doom are able to put this match by hitting the Doomsday Device to get the victory. Winners: The Legion of Doom
We go to Jim Cornette, Jeff Jarrett and Dan Severn backstage. Jarrett says that last night he should've beaten Stone Cold Steve Austin for the Intercontinental Title for the second time, but Stone Cold Steve Austin took things too far when he brought that pickup truck cause even with or without that pickup truck. He could've won the Intercontinental Title again. Jarrett says that tonight, he's finally going to win the Intercontinental Title and if Stone Cold Steve Austin doesn't have the guts to defend the Intercontinental Title tonight, then Austin should just hand it over to Jeff Jarrett so that he can be the real Intercontinental Champion. (break) Match 2: Dan Severn w/Jim Cornette vs Flash Funk At DX. Dan Severn got a big win over the 2-time former WWF Champion Vader and tonight he is in action again against Flash Funk. Funk tries to get some offense in against the big man but Severn is just too overpowerful and gets the win by making him submit to the Dragon Sleeper to get the victory, and what a great victory for Dan Severn. But tonight will Camp Cornette score big if Jeff Jarrett captures the Intercontinental Title?. Winner: Dan Severn
We see a hearse pull up to the arena, wait a minute is The Undertaker here?. Is The Undertaker in the arena?. The hearse door opens up and it's not The Undertaker, but instead it's the WWF Champion Shawn Michaels, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, The New Age Outlaws and Chyna. Are they coming out to the ring to discuss what happened last night?. It looks as if they may be heading to the ring.
(break) RAW returns to break with Flash Funk still in the ring but beaten up again by D-Generation X. We see Triple H nail Flash Funk with the pedigree. Michaels then grabs Funk and tosses him over the top rope to the floor. Michaels has a microphone and says that DX hates to be the one to say that they told the fans so, but, they told them so. Michaels says that last night with help from The New Age Outlaws, Triple H & The Undertaker's brother Kane. Michaels is still the man untop of the food chain, so that means all the people that he's defeated now. Bret Hart & The Undertaker, and now who is next. Shawn says that last night, although he should've celebrated his victory. Owen Hart had the audacity to come ringside and beat the hell out of him. Michaels tells Owen that they told Owen not to cause any trouble at DX. Owen should've sat in his seat like a normal WWF fan but he refused to and that's why his ass got locked up in prison, but what does he do. Get out of jail free card and beats up on the Heartbreak Kid. Shawn says that Owen's just mad at the fact of what happened to his brother Bret at Survivor Series. It's not Shawn's fault, infact he should blame Vince McMahon cause Vince rang the bell. Shawn beat Bret fair and square and that's what it was. He didn't screw Bret. Bret screwed himself and as a matter of fact. Bret Hart can go straight to where the big boys play, and speaking of where the big boys play. He gives a shoutout to his little buddies Kevin Nash and Scott Hall of that hellhole they'r ein in Atlanta. Michaels says that back to the matter at hand. Owen Hart should not be in the WWF because Vince McMahon gave him a free pass tonight, well they will be the ones tonight in getting rid of Owen Hart, Michaels says that he's sore from beating The Undertaker's ass and burying him alive for good. And the New Age Outlaws & Triple H both have the night off too. So the best thing that The rest of DX is rent their own VIP Box here in this arena and watch Owen Hart for the last time. Michaels says that before they do that. He wants to give the mic to the New Age Outlaws. Road Dogg is the first to speak saying that he, Billy and Triple H have been down the road with Shawn many years ago and when Shawn Michaels asked him an opportunity to join D-Generation X with Billy. They took it, last night. They were there in helping Michaels defeat The Undertaker, and for their appreciation. They are a part of D-Generation X, that means that the balance in power has shifted. Because Michaels is not only the World Wrestling Federation Champion, Triple H is not only the WWF European Champion, but the New Age Outlaws are the tag team, tag team Champions of the world!. The Road Dogg Jesse James, The Badass Billy Gunn, The New Age Outlaws. Dogg says now what happened last night to The Legion of Doom and The Blackjacks. They are not in the New Age Outlaws's league, because The Legion of Doom has been primed for what they have been for a very long time and that is washed up dinosaurs and they washed them up. So as far as The Legion of Doom go, there will be no title shots for them. Triple H is the next to speak saying that last night although Owen Hart interefered in his business and although he lost by Disqualifaction, he is still the European Champion. Triple H says that Ken Shamrock could not break his ankle, but as a fair champion. He wants to give Ken Shamrock another opportunity, but then again, maybe not. Cause as far as Shamrock goes, he goes back to the line where he stays because he should go back to the UFC instead of being in the real wrestling world. Hunter says that he heard that Ken Shamrock is going to be in the Royal Rumble Match. Well, the bad news is for Shamrock. Triple H is going to be in that match too and throw Shamrock's dangerous ass over the top rope and then the WrestleMania Main Event would be epic, Triple H vs Shawn Michaels. Michaels smiles at the idea. Triple H says that at WrestleMania if it's him and Shawn Michaels for the WWF Championship. It would be the most talked about match in WrestleMania history. Shawn says that he agrees and as a matter of fact, there may not be anyone to challenge for Shawn's Championship at the 1998 Royal Rumble. So with that being said, they are going to sit back tonight in their private luxury box and enjoy the action that is RAW is WAR. DX leave the ring as they walk to their private luxury box.
Backstage, a split screen is shown of Stone Cold Steve Austin and Jeff Jarrett walking to the ring. But Austin is still in his street clothes, is Austin going to defend the Intercontinental Title against Double J in street clothes?. (break) Back from the Break and we see DX in their private VIP box infront of the fans as Jeff Jarrett's music begins to play in the arena as he makes his way to the ring with Dan Severn and Jim Cornette, and Vince McMahon is also in the ring as well with a hoard of officials, referees, Gerald Brisco and Pat Patterson and it seems like the match will take place. Stone Cold's music then plays as he shows up with the Intercontinental Championship. And it looks like we may have the match between Austin and Jarrett. But Austin has a grin on his face, McMahon is upset that Austin is not dressed in his wrestling attire. McMahon enters the ring with microphone in hand and tells Austin what's the story. He's not dressed to compete. Austin says that he's always ready and just because he's wearing jeans. He can wrestle. McMahon says to let's go ahead and wrestle. Austin then says that it's not that easy because he went backstage and had his little hot dog and a couple of steveweisers and he decided that he is not going to fight Double J tonight because he whooped Jarrett's ass once and he will not do it again. McMahon talks about his consequences so Austin wants to know what he's going to do is McMahon going to fire Austin. Cornette speaks up and says that Austin should be fired. McMahon tells Cornette to stay out of this. McMahon says that he will not fire Austin but he's forcing him to strip him of the Intercontinental Championship right now and give it to Jeff Jarrett. Austin says that if McMahon thinks for one split second that he can strip this title off of Stone Cold Steve Austin, take it from his hands right now and he'll knock his damn lights out. But what he will do cause he's been the Intercontinental Champion Twice, the Tag Team Championship one time. The 1996 King of The Ring. There ain't but one championship that he's interested in is the World Wrestling Federation Championship. Austin says that to challenge for the WWF Championship, He wants to be a part of the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match and he wants to throw 29 superstars over the top rope and go on to WrestleMania 14 to become the WWF Champion. So he's going to forfeit the Championship to Jeff Jarrett because he's got bigger fish to fry so he really doesn't want it anymore. After hesistation. Jarrett takes the Intercontinental Title from Austin. Austin tells Jarrett to shake his hand and that to trust him. Jarrett and Austin shake hands with Vince McMahon announcing Jeff Jarrett as the Intercontinental Champion. Just as Jarrett celebrates with his crew. Austin stuns Jarrett to the mat and does the same thing to Severn. Austin yells at Jarrett saying "DTA Don't Trust Anybody". Austin says that there's the Intercontinental Champion laying on his ass. Austin takes the title and says that McMahon talks about his TV Ratings, send the camera crew with him next week because Stone Cold's got plans for the Intercontinental Title, cause it ain't got nothing to do with wrestling. All you got to do is tune in next week same Stone Cold Time, same Stone Cold Channel and that's the bottom line cause Stone Cold said so. Well, Jarrett may be the Intercontinental Champion. But Stone Cold may have taken possession of the belt. Austin runs off the ropes and as McMahon is on the apron. Austin knocks McMahon off the apron. And McMahon gets to his feet and he is livid. And Austin is still in possession of the Intercontinental Championship as he leaves the ring, but by god what else is going to happen in the second hour of RAW?.
(break) Back from the Break and Jeff Jarrett is backstage with Vince McMahon. Jarrett says that redneck idiot took his Intercontinental Championship Belt, he is using the same mind games that Jarrett did. Jarrett says that he should have that belt, but Austin has taken possession of it. McMahon says that he's going to make it up to Jeff Jarrett, tonight. Jarrett should've been in action against Stone Cold. But he's got something better to make Double J happy. Tonight, it's going to be Jeff Jarrett vs Owen Hart, and the match will be non-title and if Jarrett wins. Then Jarrett will be the man responsible to send Owen Hart out of the WWF. Jarrett laughs and smiles as he shakes Vince McMahon's hand. Match 3: Tajiri & Jushin Thunder Liger vs Brian Christopher and Scott Taylor. Last night, Brian Christopher & Scott Taylor oddly enough teamed up in that Light Heavyweight Gauntlet Royal Rumble. But tonight they are partners once again as they take on the team of Jushin Thunder Liger & Tajiri. The crowd are still buzzing over what happened with Austin & McMahon that they are not even into this match, but it's still enjoyable. However the end of the match comes when Tajiri superkicks Brian Christopher but he's not the legal man, it's Scott Taylor. Taylor comes from behind and hits a running bulldog on Tajiri to get the victory for his team. Winners: Brian Christopher and Scott Taylor Just before Christopher and Taylor celebrate their victory, the lights go out in the arena and that could mean one thing. Kane's music blares in the arena as he makes his way to the ring and Christopher and Taylor have left the ring, so that means Tajiri & Liger are easy pickings for the Big Red Machine. Last Night, Kane buried his own brother The Undertaker alive and set his gravesite on fire. Kane gets in the ring. Tajiri gets to his feet and throws some kicks at the Big Red Monster and throws mist into the eyes of Kane. Tajiri just hit that green spew at Kane, but look Kane is unfazed by it. Kane grabs Tajiri by the throat and chokeslams him to the canvas. Liger gets up and tries his hand at Kane but Kane just overpowers him and tombstones Liger to the mat. The Big Red Machine has caused more distraction and Paul Bearer has a microphone in hand, What does Paul Bearer have to say with Kane next?. (break) Back in the ring. Paul Bearer is laughing saying that he got everyone, The fans chant "you suck" at Paul Bearer. Bearer says that if he does suck, he must be good. But he had each and every one of him sitting at home right now right in the palm of a hand, hook, line and sinker. That interview that he did last week. They should've given him a Golden Globes Award for that one. Damn, he's good. And then on that platform, the two brothers got down and saluted each other, that's when Paul Bearer knew he had the fans, hook, line and sinker and also The Undertaker and for the first time in 7 years. The Undertaker had a smile. They saw the smile on Undertaker's face. He knew that Kane had come back to him. But Paul Bearer got The Undertaker just like he did all these 5 years ago, and like he did at Summerslam 1996, and last night, what a night it was. Just when anyone thought Kane was going to come down and help out his big brother. NO! NO! NO!. Kane scooped his brother up and tombstoned him into his own grave. And then he came down with the gasoline and matches, Then everyone could see. Kane started pouring the gasoline, you could see the smell. Paul saw a little girl crying saying "MOMMA MOMMA, What are they doing". What were they doing?. When Kane took that 5 gallon gas can and poured the liquid all over the gravesite of The Undertaker and then Paul Bearer pulled out a box of matches and all it took was one match. Handed it to Kane and then the towering inferno, it felt so good. So what now?. The Undertaker is finally gone, and the big plan that Paul Bearer had conducted for 6 months has come to pass. The Undertaker is gone and he will never return. He may have disappeared from that gravesite. But he is vanished and that is the way it's going to be, Vanished Forever. No more, because there is a new Phenom, and his name is Kane. And as 1997 was as a good year for Paul Bearer. 1998's going to be an even better year for Paul Bearer and Kane. Because, on January 18, 1998. Kane will be in the Royal Rumble Match and will destroy bodies along the way and then the prophecy will be fulfilled. Bearer knows that Shawn Michaels is sitting on that VIP Box and he wants Shawn & his buddies to listen good, at WrestleMania. Kane is going to take what he wants after he wins the Royal Rumble, and then the World Wrestling Federation will be in a state of unrest when Kane takes the World Wrestling Federation Championship and after that, there will be no WWF Superstar left and standing over the fire will be Kane and Paul Bearer will be the master and the ruler of the whole wide world. Then suddenly Sycho Sid's music plays in the arena did Paul Bearer say that he would be the master, the ruler of the whole wide world. Well there's someone that knows about it. Sid enters the ring and stares face to face with Kane. Sid then snatches the microphone from Paul Bearer and tells Bearer to shut his fat ass up. Sid says that last night, Paul Bearer & Kane should be absolutely ashamed of theirselves for what they did to The Undertaker at In Your House. Sid says that he's gotten into the head of The Undertaker many times and Paul Bearer knows it all well himself. Sid says that he would never set The Undertaker's graveyard on fire just like Kane & Paul Bearer did. Sid says as far as he's concerned, Kane should not be in the World Wrestling Federation. Sid says that weeks ago while he was facing Ken Shamrock. Kane came down and attacked him and he's had one thing on his mind and that's a little bit of payback. Sid says that he and Kane should go at it right now. Kane then grabs Sid by the throat but Sid has Kane by the throat as well. Both men have hands on each other's throats. But Sid breaks out of Kane's hold and look at this Sid has just chokeslammed Kane. Sid just took Kane down with a chokeslam. But look at this Kane sits right back up and Sid whips Kane off the ropes and hits a big boot but it doesn't even faze Kane and Kane gets sent over the top rope with a clothesline and look at this, Kane just like his brother does not even go down. It looks like Sid has stepped up to the Big Red Machine. Sid picks up the microphone and says that if Kane wants a fight, then at Saturday Night's Main Event, on December 27, 1997. He will send Kane to hell where he belongs and prove that he is the master and the ruler of the world. Sid stares down Kane as RAW takes another commercial break. (break) Match 4: Ken Shamrock w/Ahmed Johnson & DOA vs Mark Henry w/The Nation of Domination Don't think Ken Shamrock brought backup with him cause he has as he has Ahmed Johnson & The DOA to back him up against The Nation of Domination. Shamrock is giving up a lot of pounds to face this World's Most Dangerous Man. Shamrock is in a foul mood after what happened at DX: In Your House with Chyna costing Shamrock the European Championship. Shamrock and Henry have a hard hitting match with Henry gaining the upper hand. Henry almost wins the match by hitting a powerslam and a leg drop but Shamrock kicks out at 2. Shamrock is able to battle back and takes the big man down with a spinning heel kick, but wait a minute. The Rock just grabbed Shamrock's leg and here we go, all hell has broken loose between Shamrock's managers and the Nation of Domination. A Brawl has broken out outside the ring. Henry grabs Shamrock and goes for a powerslam but Shamrock ducks out of it and look at this, he grabs Henry and hits an impressive belly to belly suplex on the 400-pound man. Shamrock covers Henry and gets the win. And look at this, DX are at the skybox with Triple H clapping his hands as he holds the European Title Belt. Shamrock sees DX at their skybox with Shamrock staring down Triple H saying that the European Title is going to be his. Winner: Ken Shamrock (break) Back from Break and we see Owen Hart backstage getting ready for his match against Jeff Jarrett. This is Owen's last chance to be in the WWF. If Owen wins, he gets a WWF Title Match against Shawn Michaels, but if he doesn't beat Jeff Jarrett. Then Owen leaves the WWF for good. Match 5: Vader vs Marc Mero w/Sable This should be an interesting match between these two because both men lost their last matches last night. Mero gets a little bit of offense against the former WWF Champion. But Vader fights back in the opening of the match however Mero is able to slow the big man down in this scientific matchup by going for the legs. The fans are still cheering for Sable as Sable is waving to the fans and that gets Mero upset. Vader grabs Mero while he's trying to talk to Sable. Vader picks the Wildman up and powerbombs him to the mat and he could be going for the Vader Bomb and he connects with it. Vader covers Mero to get the win and build some momentum for the 1998 Royal Rumble. Vader may have lost his match last night, but he's got an opportunity to win the 30-Man Royal Rumble and he could be the odds on favorite. Winner: Vader
Backstage. Terry Funk is watching what he did to Mankind last night. Funk is laughing as he says that he's finally gotten rid of Mankind for good. And now his focus is being the best he can be, be the best damn WWF Hardcore Legend ever. Funk says that he's heard people going to the Royal Rumble Match, he's heard that Ken Shamrock, Kane, Vader, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H are all going to be in the Royal Rumble Match, he's been in the Rumble 2 times and he's never won it. But this year, he wants to win it all. He wants to face the WWF Champion and he doesn't care if he has to go hardcore on all 29 competitors and then after. WrestleMania 14, he's going to become the World Wrestling Federation Champion. (break)
Match 5: Tag Team Match Steve Blackman & Bart Gunn vs The Headbangers An Interesting Tag Team as we got Steve Blackman & Bart Gunn as a tag team. Bart Gunn's been in a tag team before with Billy Gunn. But this should be a good tag team contest here.
