WCW NITRO - January 1. 1996
Eric Bischoff, Bobby Heenan and Larry Zbyzsko are your hosts for this brand new year of WCW Nitro as this is indeed the year of 1996. Heenan predicts that he can see it already 1996 is going to be the year of the Four Horsemen. And speaking of The New Horsemen here they come alongside Miss Elizabeth. Flair, Anderson and Luger begin to hold all the championship belts high in the air, this is indeed a great start to kick off WCW Nitro, Mean "Gene" Okerlund is in the ring about to interview them. Okerlund first talks to Ric Flair. Flair says that tonight is a new era and a new year. Because at Starrcade. They all witnessed The Four Horsemen walking out as Champions and now they have all the gold, they ended 1995 with a bang and have started off 1996 the right way. Flair says that 1996 is now the year of the Four Horsemen and by the end of the 365 days of 1996, The Four Horsemen will be standing still untop of the mountain but at Starrcade, they may have won everything but there's one person that failed The Four Horsemen, they all begin to look at Pillman. Flair speaks and says that Pillman was supposed to win the Battle Royal, it was supposed to be a clean sweep but Pillman threw it all away and that's why he's worthless, so officially Pillman is now out of the Horsemen effective immediately, Pillman tries to beg and Flair tells him that Pillman was nothing until the Horsemen brought him in and now look at him he's nothing again and now he's going to pay and learn the hard way Horsemen Style. Benoit then grabs Pillman and German Suplexes him to the mat, what is going on here?. The Horsemen are attacking Pillman, They finish the beatdown with Luger tossing Pillman over the top rope to the floor. Flair tells Okerlund to continue the interview. Okerlund turns it over to Chris Benoit who had another victory over Randy Savage but this time it wasn't without controversy. Benoit says that Okerlund does not know what he is talking about. He beat Randy Savage again fair and square just like last time but if there's anyone that thinks he's cheated, well Randy Savage is a no good liar and cheater to Elizabeth and that's why Elizabeth is here with the Four Horsemen, that's why Elizabeth can stand with real men like The Four Horsemen. Benoit then says that one way or another he is going to defeat Randy Savage one more time and humiliate him one more time and send him back up north to the World Wrestling Federation. Okerlund says that last but not least, the new WCW Champion Lex Luger. Okerlund tells Luger that Luger won the WCW Championship fair and square without the help of the Four Horsemen. Luger says that the biggest Christmas present he got on Christmas Eve was when he won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Luger thanks Santa for the gift he gave him and he promises to be a good boy when Christmas Time rolls around. Luger says that his two little kids and his wife were very proud of their daddy when he brought home the WCW Title. Luger says that 1995 was a rocky road for him because he worked in that crappy ass organization which we all know is the World Wrestling Federation, Luger says that he busted his ass for that company, he won their World Title 2 years ago, but all of that changed when Vince McMahon wanted to give Bret Hart and Razor Ramon the opportunities Luger had in 1994. Luger then tells McMahon directly that he hopes he is watching right now, well he's probably not because he's busy commentating on RAW wanting to save his project, but the point he's saying is, all the hard frustration and the hard work paid off at Starrcade because he took their hero Hulk Hogan and he dominated him, and he killed the legend of Hulkamania. At Starrcade. Hulkamania died, and now there's a trend going around and it's now Lugermania. Then suddenly J.J. Dillon appears and interrupts the interview. Okerlund tells Dillon if he has something to add. Dillon says that first of all congrats are in order to the Four Horsemen, but he hated to interrupt the party as soon as he could, cause he needed to add something. Now that Luger is the WCW Champion, there is something that must be settled here, Luger asks Dillon if Hogan is going to invoke his re-match clause tonight because he'll be happy to kill and bury Hulkamania once again. Dillon says that Hogan will get his re-match but it won't be tonight, it will be somewhere down the line, however, When he said the match would be Title for Title, he meant every word of it, and now Luger has both belts, but you see Luger can't defend both the belts at the same time, so with that being said, he is going to vacate his United States Championship. Luger begins to freak out that he has to vacate his United States Championship and so is The Four Horsemen. Flair screams at Dillon saying he can't do it. Dillon then tells Flair that he has the Authority to do that and he's also got bad news for Flair and Anderson too, tonight they're going to put their WCW Tag Team Titles for the first time against The Macho Man Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan. The crowd pops at that as Flair and Anderson are frustrated and upset that they have to put the belts on the line. Dillon also says that as for Luger, he is going to put his WCW Title on the line tonight against a man who won the Battle Royal and vowed to put his career on the line if he didn't win the WCW Championship and that man will be Terry Funk, Dillon tells Luger that since he beat Hogan fair and square, he's going to make it official, The Four Horsemen have been banned from ringside. The bad news continues for the Four Horsemen as the Horsemen begins to freak out but wait a minute Brian Pillman is back up and he's got a chair and he's chasing the Four Horsemen away. Pillman then takes the mic and tells Benoit that tonight it will be him and Brian Pillman one-on-one later on tonight and Pillman's going to show Benoit the meaning of wild. The crowd goes nuts for Pillman as Nitro takes a break. Match 1: Tag Team Match The Road Warriors vs Shark & Kamala w/Kevin Sullivan The Road Warriors lost the Tag Team Titles at Starrcade but look to get back on track as they take on Shark & Kamala. This is an okay match, but the crowd was still hot for the start of Nitro and also the Segment. Shark & Kamala do a great job of wearing down Hawk until Hawk makes the hot tag to Animal. Animal goes on a house of fire destroying everyone and even bodyslamming Shark down to the mat. They call for the Doomsday Device, how is Animal going to lift Shark up for the Doomsday Device is the question?. Animal lifts up Shark and Hawk goes to the top rope and yes they hit it. The Doomsday Device on Big Shark, Animal gets the cover, 1. 2. 3. The Road Warriors are back in the saddle again. But will they get their titles back in 1996?, we might find out. Winners: The Road Warriors Bischoff, Heenan and Zbyzsko announce that this just came in from JJ Dillon's office regarding the United States Championship and that next week there will be a 16-Man Tournament and the 2 men will face off in the finals at Clash of The Champions for the U.S. Title. (break) Match 2: Non-Title Match Eddie Guerrero vs Paul Orndorff This is a great matchup here between Eddie Guerrero and the veteran Paul Orndorff, The match begins with a collar-elbow tie up with Guerrero getting the upper hand of it. But Orndorff shows his experience by hip tossing Guerrero down to the mat and continues the offense but Guerrero shuts Orndorff's momentum by hitting him with a nice dropkick but Orndorff battles back hitting a clothesline followed up by a flapjack on the TV Champion. Orndorff and Guerrero are showing some fast paced offense here in this match with Orndorff continuing the momentum against Guerrero. Guerrero battles back though and hits a diving cross body on Orndorff but gets a nearfall in. Guerrero delivers the hurracarana to Orndorff but Orndorff is able to kick out. Orndorff battles back and attempts to hit Guerrero with his finishing move the piledriver but Guerrero kicks Orndorff in the gut and hits the triple vertical suplexes. Guerrero goes for the cover but Orndorff is able to kick out. Guerrero heads to the top rope and sets up for the frog splash but Orndorff gets on the top rope and it could be a superplex coming up here but Guerrero throws Orndorff down to the mat and hits a tremendous frog splash on the veteran Paul Orndorff, and what an upset for Eddie Guerrero, the TV Champion continues to be impressive, after the matchup. Guerrero and Orndorff shake hands after the contest. Winner: Eddie Guerrero (break) Match 3: WCW Tag Team Championship Match Ric Flair and Arn Anderson w/Miss Elizabeth vs Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage Flair and Anderson already won the Tag Team Titles at Starrcade but they got two hungry competitors in Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage remember Hogan and Savage's experience as a team cause they teamed up back in 1988 through 1989. Hogan and Anderson start the match off with Anderson locking up on Hogan. Hogan throws Anderson down to the mat and Anderson kicks the ropes in frustration and goes for a right hand but Hogan blocks it and hits Anderson with right hands. Hogan whips Anderson into the ropes and hits a hip-toss followed by a big clothesline and Anderson rolls out of the ring. Hogan continues to go to work on Anderson and makes the tag to Savage who goes to work on Anderson. Hogan and Savage whip Anderson off the ropes and hit a double clothesline. Hogan gets out so Savage can go to work on Anderson. However the Horsemen battle back on Savage with Flair going for the legs of the Macho Man. Flair attempts to go for the figure-four leg lock but Savage fights out of it, so Anderson and Flair whip Savage into the ropes and go for a double backdrop but Savage reverses it into a double DDT. Savage makes the tag to Hogan who comes in a house of fire. Hogan punches Anderson and Flair at the same time and gives them double headbutts. Hogan runs off the ropes nailing a double clothesline taking both men down. Hogan makes the tag to Savage and Hogan whips Anderson into the ropes hitting a big boot followed up by a bodyslam. And Savage goes to the top rope hitting the diving elbow off the top to Anderson but wait a minute Flair's got the WCW Tag Team Title Belt and nails Savage with it as the referee is distracted by Miss Elizabeth. Hogan sees what's going on and sends Flair out of the ring with a clothesline. Anderson covers Savage to get the victory and retaining the WCW Tag Team Titles. Winners and Still WCW Tag Team Champions: Arn Anderson and Ric Flair Hogan re-enters the ring seeing what's going on and hits at Anderson and Flair but as Anderson and Flair leave. Luger enters the ring with a steel chair and clobbers Hogan in the head with it. Hogan tried to duck Luger's shot but Luger was there in the nick of time to attack him with the chair. Luger stands over Hogan telling him that he is never going to win the WCW Championship again and Hogan is just busted open, Flair and Anderson re-enter the ring and pose with Luger as Nitro takes another break. (break) Match 4: Big Bubba w/Mr. Wallstreet vs Dean Malenko Starrcade wasn't indeed a good night for Big Bubba and Mr. Wallstreet, but this is Dean Malenko's first match on Nitro. Malenko gets a good advantage against Big Bubba despite the size of his intensity. Malenko tries to go for the legs of Big Bubba but Bubba swats him away and hits the big boot on Malenko. Bubba regains the advantage in this match but Malenko is able to battle back and goes for the Texas Cloverleaf on Big Bubba and he gets it locked in and look at the pain Big Bubba is feeling. Big Bubba has no choice but to tap out of the match and what a win for Dean Malenko. After the match. Wallstreet comes in and tries to attack Malenko but Malenko begins to escape. Bischoff announces that Malenko will be one of the 16 participants in the United States Championship Tournament Matchup. Winner: Dean Malenko (break)
Mean "Gene" Okerlund is in the ring ready to interview The Giant and Jimmy Hart who come out a mixed reaction. Okerlund tells The Giant that in October, he won the WCW Title, only to lose it the next month to Hulk Hogan and at Starrcade, he lost to Sting as well, but he has to admit 1995 was a pretty strong year for The Giant. Hart agrees with Okerlund and says that 1996 is going to be even more of a better year for The Giant because what we all saw earlier tonight JJ Dillon vacated Lex Luger out of his United States Championship and held a Tournament well how fitting it will be that The Giant has now entered the US Title Tournament. Hart says that The Giant doesn't care who he eliminates in the tournament he is going to be the odds-on-favorite, he was WCW Champion and in 1996, he will become the United States Champion. Okerlund also mentions that another competitor The Giant had trouble with at Starrcade and that man is Sting. Hart says that Sting will never make it to the finals, he'll be very lucky if he even did and if Sting does make it to the finals then at Clash of The Champions. He won't be so lucky again because The Giant is going to come out swinging with the United States Title around his waist, then suddenly and surprisingly Sting appears from the top rope and begins to attack The Giant. Sting then gets in a fist fight with The Giant but The Giant fights back and goes for the chokeslam but Sting fights out of it and low blows The Giant and just like he did at Starrcade. He bodyslams The Giant again. But look at this The Giant is up and Sting sends him out of the ring with a clothesline. Bischoff says that Sting has to be one of the odds on favorites to win back his WCW United States Championship. Sting's been waiting since September to get the US Title Back but will he win the whole thing and become United States Champion?. Match 5: Chris Benoit vs Brian Pillman Brian Pillman who was betrayed by The Horsemen earlier tonight is looking for redemption, this is a little bit of a quick match doesn't even last two minutes with Pillman getting a bit of an advantage but Benoit continues his undefeated ways by making Pillman tap out with the Crippler Crossface. Winner: Chris Benoit (break) Match 6: WCW Title Match, if Funk doesn't win, he retires Lex Luger vs Terry Funk The most antipicated WCW Championship Match in Nitro History as Lex Luger battles Terry Funk, remember if Funk loses, he leaves WCW. Funk starts off the match by hitting some powerful punches on the Champion and nails a dropkick taking the Champion down. Funk takes momentum in this match and hits a suicide torpedo taking down Luger. Luger eventually fights back in this contest and goes to work on Funk dominating him in this contest and totally just has his way with him doing the Hulkamania Cup Taunt to the fans. Funk battles back in this contest and tries a cross body but Luger throws him down with a violent and vicious fall away slam. Funk somehow battles back in this contest and takes the champion down with a DDT. Funk has his second wind here as he throws punch after punch to the Champion on the buckle, Funk sends Luger over the top rope sending him and Luger over the top rope and Funk what is Funk doing, he's untop of the railing and he hits a standing moonsault on The Champion. Funk is desperate to win the WCW Title here tonight. Funk tosses Luger in the ring but Luger surprises him and hits a suplex back in the ring. Luger whips Funk into the ropes and goes for a powerslam but Funk kicks him in the gut and hits a neckbreaker on the Champion. Funk is going to do it here but Luger kicks out. Funk goes for a clothesline but Luger nails a powerslam on Funk. Luger goes for the cover but Funk is able to kick out at 2. Funk's career is still alive. Funk kicks the Champion and nails him with a piledriver. Funk just piledrove the Champion, but can he pull it off. Funk goes for the cover but Luger stays in it. Funk grabs Luger and goes for another piledriver and he hits it again, but Funk is heading to the top rope as well. Funk can he go for the moonsault, Funk's going to hit it yes, he nails Luger with the Moonsault. Funk goes for the cover but Luger is able to kick out at 2. How does Luger do it, Funk is very flustered here. Funk grabs Luger and goes for a piledriver but Luger backdrops out of it and Luger sets up for the Rebel Rack and he's got it locked in. Funk tries fighting desperately to hang on and as Luger tells Funk to give up. Funk gives him the middle finger and that allows Luger to put the rack in more further on Funk and Funk has no choice but to tap and now Terry Funk is now retired from WCW for good. Winner and Still WCW Champion: Lex Luger Funk was very close in his effort but now he must leave WCW for good, Luger poses with his victory but he sees Funk beginning to stir, Luger grabs the belt and smacks Funk in the skull with it, Luger begins to stomp and kick away at Funk and punch away at him but wait a minute here comes Hulk Hogan with a Steel Chair and Luger sees him and stomps away at him. Luger then picks up the Chair Hogan brought to the ring and tries to do it again but Funk grabs the chair and that allows Hogan to hit Luger with a right hand and Hogan gets the better of them and now Funk he clubs Luger with a right hand. Hogan sends Luger over the top rope to the floor. Luger gets out of the ring with the belt, but Hogan and Funk shake hands as This is Funk's last time in WCW. Hogan and Funk raise each other's hands as a big Funker chant goes out the arena. Funk takes his leave outside and shakes hands with the fans as Nitro goes off the air.

WWF RAW - January 1. 1996
Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler are your hosts for Monday Night RAW. McMahon talks about how this is going to be an eventful night as this is going to be a two-hour RAW live at Madison Square Garden. it will be The Undertaker battling Diesel, The Steiner Brothers challenging Owen Hart and The British Bulldog for the WWF Tag Team Championship and Shawn Michaels returns tonight to talk about his future. Lawler predicts that this is the end for The Heartbreak Kid, McMahon says that we might have to wait and see cause this New Year is kicking off right with RAW in Madison Square Garden.
Match 1: Non-Title Match Vader vs Tatanka The WWF Champion is in action against the veteran in Tatanka. Tatanka starts off with some good offense against the Champion even clotheslining him over the top rope to the floor. Tatanka goes for a move going for a cross body on the outside but Vader just throws him down off the floor and tosses Tatanka in the ring where he dominates him as sending a message to Bret Hart at the Royal Rumble. Tatanka tries to battle back but Vader is just too much. Tatanka eventually makes a comeback and hits the WWF Champion bringing him down with a flying chop off the top rope. Tatanka whips Vader into the ropes and hits a powerslam. TATANKA JUST POWERSLAMMED THE WWF CHAMPION!. Tatanka sets up for the End of The Trail on Vader, can he lift him up?. Tatanka, he's got Vader up, can he do it, no. Vader is just too strong. Vader lifts Tatanka up and powerbombs him to the mat, Vader then grabs the lifeless body of Tatanka and sets him up for the Vader Bomb. Vader hits it, the Vader Bomb on Tatanka and this is over. Vader gets the victory sending a message to his opponent Bret Hart at the 1996 Royal Rumble. Winner: Vader
Vader then grabs Tatanka after the match and throws him over the top rope whilst Cornette takes the mic and begins to speak. Cornette says that he promised everyone in 1995 that he would bring Vader to the World Wrestling Federation and he did, he promised that Vader would win the World Wrestling Federation Championship and at Survivor Series he did. He promised everyone that Vader would destroy Razor Ramon and he did so, and now that 1996 is here. Cornette will make more promises, he promises at the Royal Rumble, he's going to destroy Bret Hart and after he beats Bret, he's going to WrestleMania 12 to face the winner of the Royal Rumble and Vader doesn't care whoever wins the Royal Rumble, he doesn't care if it's The Undertaker. Diesel. Ahmed Johnson or The 123 Kid. Vader's going to go on and destroy them. Vader picks up Cornette's mic and tells Bret that at the Royal Rumble, he is going to chew him out because what he did at Razor Ramon at Survivor Series and Season's Beatings and because of what he did to Tatanka just now will be nothing compared to the beating he will give Bret Hart. Vader says that Bret has overcome every obstacle but at the Royal Rumble, he won't overcome the WWF Champion and Bret will know that it will be Vader Time. Vader leaves the ring as McMahon announces that Bret Hart will be here tonight to talk about the title match here at the Royal Rumble.
Dok Hendrix gives us the Royal Rumble Report, He talks about the matches with Bret Hart taking on Vader for the WWF Title and the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match this time with new competitors entering the Royal Rumble, 4 more participants. Jushin Thunder Liger. Public Enemy and Last Year's Royal Rumble Winner Razor Ramon. pre-recorded comments are from Razor Ramon. Razor says that last year when he won the 1995 Royal Rumble, he got to the World Wrestling Federation Championship and proved to everyone that he is the true Bad Guy and although he lost the belt at Survivor Series, he still has machismo left in him. He wants to win the Royal Rumble again and he doesn't care if he goes through others to do it. Razor says that if Bret Hart does win the World Wrestling Federation Title, then WrestleMania 12 will be like WrestleMania 11 all over again. But if Vader stays champion, then Razor's business with Vader will continue at WrestleMania 12.
(break)
Match 2: Jushin Thunder Liger vs Jeff Hardy before the match begins. Goldust comes out and it looks like he's scouting Jushin Thunder Liger, the distraction gives Hardy an advantage to go after Liger. Hardy at one point gets a little part of offense but Liger battles back and gets the win by hitting the Liger Bomb off the top rope to get the win. Winner: Jushin Thunder Liger
After Liger's celebration. Goldust enters the ring and look at this staredown. Goldust and Liger stare each other down, Liger then stares at the Intercontinental Title Belt Goldust has around his waist, and if you remember Last October. Liger was close from defeating The 123 Kid for the Intercontinental Title, can he try to win the Intercontinental Title if Goldust and Liger face off?. Then suddenly Roddy Piper's theme plays in the arena as he appears on the video wall saying that everyone wants to know who will face Goldust for the Intercontinental Championship at the Royal Rumble, and he thinks he's found that person, so at the Royal Rumble. Goldust will be pulling double duty cause not only he is going to be in the Royal Rumble Match, but he will defend the Intercontinental Title at the Royal Rumble against Jushin Thunder Liger. Goldust is shocked that he has to put the belt on the line at the Royal Rumble against Jushin Thunder Liger can Liger walk out at the Royal Rumble with the Intercontinental Championship and win the Royal Rumble at the same time?. McMahon does his anything can happen spiel but announces that at the Royal Rumble Match, we have a competitor that will make his return and we have a video package for it.
And that Video Package is none other than Jake "The Snake" Roberts. The fans cheer at the big announcement, Jake The Snake Roberts makes his return at the Royal Rumble. McMahon says that we are going to talk to Bret Hart right now when RAW takes a commercial break.
(break)
Dok Hendrix is in the ring ready to interview Bret "The Hitman" Hart who comes out to a raucous New York Crowd Pop. What history Bret has had at Madison Square Garden, he beat Mr. Perfect here at Summerslam 1991 to win the WWF Intercontinental Title. Hendrix begins to speak to him about how 1995 was a up and down start for The Hitman, he kicked off 1995 as the World Wrestling Federation Champion, but lost the belt at WrestleMania 11, he was betrayed by British Bulldog at King of The Ring, only to win the Christmas Chaos Tournament in December to face Vader for the World Wrestling Federation Championship at the Royal Rumble. Bret says that after WrestleMania 11. He fought hard to get back at the World Wrestling Federation Championship and even though Betrayal and Deception got in his way. He still fought, Bret says that the last time he was here at Madison Square Garden, he lost to his brother Owen at WrestleMania 10 and it set him back, Bret says that he's happy to come back at Madison Square Garden as the #1 Contender and go on to the Royal Rumble to face Vader for the World Wrestling Federation Championship. Bret then says for Christmas, his kids, himself and his wife got a lot of stuff for Christmas, but there was one Christmas Present missing and that was the belt around Vader's waist, the belt that deserves to be his, he wasn't let down at WrestleMania 11 when he lost the World Wrestling Federation Title to Razor Ramon, because he fought a real guy in Razor Ramon, but Vader's not a real man, Vader is just a coward. Destroying everyone in the World Wrestling Federation is his thing but at the Royal Rumble, he's going in the underdog and when he fights big dogs, he's always been the underdog and he's always overcome them all, and he's beaten everyone whether they were small or big at the Royal Rumble, Bret is going to go in this match and he's going to beat Vader within an inch of his life, he's going to take that big mastadon and he's going to take him out. Hendrix says that Vader is a tough man, how will Bret apply the Sharpshooter on Vader. Bret says like he said no matter how big or small they are, he's always made them tap to the Sharpshooter and at the Royal Rumble it will be no different. Bret then says that at the Royal Rumble he hopes Vader is ready for the challenge because no matter what Vader throws at him, he's going to take. Bret says that Vader may be the toughest competitor in the World Wrestling Federation, but it will take a lot more to destroy The Hitman at the Royal Rumble because Vader is going to have to destroy him, Hendrix then asks should Bret win the WWF Title who is he looking forward to face at WrestleMania and who do you think will win the Royal Rumble. Bret says that whoever wins the Royal Rumble in his eyes if he wins the WWF Championship. then he wants and this is the man who gave him the fight of his life at WrestleMania 11 and that man is Razor Ramon, Bret says that should Razor win the Royal Rumble and should he win the World Wrestling Federation Championship, it will not be like last time because he made one mistake last year and that mistake cost him everything, but he promises if him and Razor fight at WrestleMania 12, he won't make a mistake again. Bret tells Vader that at the Royal Rumble he better be ready because Bret's going to come at Vader with everything he's got and Vader will know that Bret is the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be what an interview from Bret "The Hitman" Hart. He looks focused to win the World Wrestling Federation Championship for the third time at the 1996 Royal Rumble but up next it will be The Undertaker going one on one with Diesel.

Undertaker takes him down with a spear to the mat punching away at him. Undertaker takes Diesel into the buckle and throws some hard right hands and some of them have Diesel rocking. So far we have not seen a takedown despite Undertaker spearing Diesel down to the mat. Taker whips Diesel into the buckle but Diesel reverses it with an elbow as Undertaker tried a move in the buckle. Diesel runs off the ropes and goes for a clothesline but Undertaker blocks it and grabs Diesel setting up for the chokeslam but Diesel elbows out of it and Diesel whips Undertaker into the ropes and goes for a clothesline of his own but Undertaker reverses it and kicks Diesel in the gut nailing a Russian Leg Sweep on Diesel. Taker goes for the cover but Diesel is able to kick out. Undertaker then grabs Diesel and sets up for the ropewalk but Diesel grabs Undertaker and hip tosses him to the mat. Diesel sees Undertaker getting up and Diesel clotheslines Undertaker to the mat and Diesel has the advantage for a few minutes until Undertaker fights back and whips Diesel into the ropes going for a big boot but Diesel hits a big boot of his own taking Undertaker down. Diesel grabs Undertaker and hits a sidewalk slam on The Undertaker. Diesel continues to dominate but Undertaker battles back and hits the ropewalk and it doesn't faze Diesel. Undertaker then hits Diesel with huge right hands and runs off the ropes hitting 2 clotheslines and Taker grabs Diesel and hits him with snake eyes. Undertaker whips Diesel into the ropes and hits a big boot but Diesel doesn't go down. Taker then gives Diesel a right hand and bodyslams him to the mat. Undertaker just bodyslammed Big Daddy Cool. Undertaker runs off the ropes and drops the leg on Diesel. Undertaker goes for the cover but Diesel is able to kick out. Undertaker has his hand locked up ready for the Chokeslam. Taker grabs Diesel by the throat but Diesel has Undertaker by the throat too, both men have chokeholds on each other. Diesel knees Taker in the gut and goes for the chokeslam but Undertaker reverses it and runs off the ropes going for a flying clothesline but Diesel rolls out of the way and Diesel grabs Undertaker setting up for the jackknife but Undertaker back body drops him out of the ring but Diesel hangs on the apron and Undertaker headbutts Diesel and knocks him down with a big boot taking him out of the apron. Undertaker leaves the ring and continues to go to work on Diesel. Undertaker takes Diesel into the guardrail and as Undertaker tries to go after the referee for trying to let this go. Diesel grabs the chair and goes to hit Undertaker with it but Undertaker kicks the chair right in Diesel's face and Undertaker's got the steel chair and he nails Diesel in the back with it and Diesel has won the match by DQ. Winner By DQ: Diesel
Undertaker does not care as he just peppers Diesel with right hands but as Undertaker goes for a move on the guardrail. Diesel battles back and rams Undertaker right into the ringpost. Diesel then grabs the steel chair The Undertaker used and Diesel nails Undertaker in the skull with it. Diesel tosses Undertaker back in the ring and Undertaker gets back up but Diesel throws a few punches rocking the Deadman, but Undertaker comes back with right hands of his own and Taker takes Diesel into the buckle with those right hands but look Diesel is battling back, these two men are exchanging blows similar to 2 weeks ago. Diesel goes for a right hand but Undertaker grabs him by the throat and sets up for the chokeslam and Undertaker takes Diesel down to the mat with a big chokeslam and Diesel gets up only for Undertaker to take him out of the ring with a clothesline. And look at this officials and refs are here to stop Diesel and Undertaker and Paul Bearer enters the ring trying to hold The Undertaker back but Undertaker look at this runs off the ropes and he just dove untop of everyone. Undertaker launched himself onto the referees and officials to try to get at Diesel. Diesel and Undertaker both get up continuing to fight with Diesel now getting the upper hand. Diesel hits a few referees and grabs the steel steps and Diesel just slammed them right in The Undertaker's face. Diesel falls back down as this brawl and match has just exhausted him. Diesel tries to leave the arena but look at this The Undertaker is running to get back at Diesel. and Undertaker gives Diesel a clothesline to the back and Undertaker has been busted open from those steel stairs Diesel used on The Undertaker. Undertaker tries to whip Diesel into the RAW Stage but Diesel reverses it and Diesel throws Undertaker into the RAW Stage and look the stage may be collapsing, but it doesn't collapse. And Roddy Piper enters the fray trying to stop Diesel from doing some more damage but Diesel backs his fist ready to hit him but Piper tells Diesel to bring it and that distraction allows Undertaker to scoop Diesel up and hit the Tombstone Piledriver on the concrete. Undertaker just tombstoned Diesel to the mat, but Roddy Piper had better do something about The Undertaker and Diesel because this stuff is getting out of control between these two.
(break)
Todd Pettengill interviews Roddy Piper about what has been happening between The Undertaker and Diesel. Piper gets mad and says that this whole Undertaker/Diesel thing has driving him nuts and he's going to do something about it, so at the 1996 Royal Rumble, both The Undertaker and Diesel will enter at #1 and #2 whether they like it or not, Undertaker will enter #1 and Diesel will enter #2. What an announcement by the president as the fans don't like Piper's decision, but it's just a way for Taker and Diesel to possibly get their hands on each other at the 1996 Royal Rumble. Lawler and McMahon talk all about this. Lawler says that there is no way The Undertaker and Diesel are both going to outlast 28 others at the same time. McMahon says that Undertaker and Diesel are both big men and entering at #1 and #2 may spell trouble for all the superstars in the ring that enters early or late in this match.
Match 4: Hunter Hearst Helmsley w/Mr. Perfect vs Marty Jannetty What a 1995 Hunter Hearst Helmsley had as he came in 1995 as The Intercontinental Champion and won the King of The Ring last Summer, and he puts on a great match with Jannetty although Jannetty gets in some offense against Helmsley but Helmsley just takes the advantage battling back against Jannetty. Lawler thinks that Helmsley is going to be the odds on favorite to win the 1996 Royal Rumble as McMahon says that it may be true. Jannetty battles back and hits a missile dropkick on Helmsley but only gets a 2 count. Jannetty is in control of this matchup and goes for the rocker dropper but Helmsley suplexes him to the mat and sets up for the pedigree but Jannetty rolls Helmsley up for an inside cradle but Helmsley is able to kick out. Jannetty scoops up Helmsley and bodyslams him to the mat and he could be going for the fistdrop here but Perfect shoves him off the apron and that allows Helmsley to get Jannetty with the pedigree to get the win and what a win for Hunter Hearst Helmsley here in this match. Can Hunter Hearst Helmsley start 1996 off with another bang by winning the Royal Rumble?, we may find out. Winner: Hunter Hearst Helmsley
(break)
Match 5: Ahmed Johnson vs Mabel w/Ted Dibiase What a big match this is for Ahmed Johnson, he definitely has his work cut out for him as he takes on Big Mabel, Ahmed gets the early advantage in this contest but Mabel is just too strong, This match eventually is quick as Mabel attempts a splash in the corner but Ahmed misses and bodyslams the 568-pounder down to the mat what a bodyslam by Ahmed. Ahmed heads to the top rope and hits a diving shoulder block taking Mabel down to the mat. Ahmed goes for the cover and gets the big victory over Mabel, what an impressive victory for Ahmed Johnson. Dibiase is very upset that Mabel failed. Winner: Ahmed Johnson
After the matchup. The Million Dollar Corporation come in to attack Ahmed. Ahmed tries fighting them off at once but Austin gets him with a low blow and nails him with the Million Dollar Championship Belt. Dibiase tells Sid to powerbomb Ahmed and he does, The Million Dollar Corporation help Mabel up but wait a minute they are attacking him too. Austin then takes Mabel down with the stunner finishing this beatdown. Dibiase picks up the mic and tells Mabel that he failed tonight and someone has to pay the price and Mabel is fired. Dibiase then picks up the $100 bill and shoves it in Mabel's mouth, what utter humilation by The Million Dollar Corporation on Mabel. Dibiase then grabs the microphone and says that one of the Million Dollar Corporation is going to win the Royal Rumble so we now know that Sid, Kama and Crush are going to be with Steve Austin in the Royal Rumble Match.
Todd Pettengill interviews The Steiner Brothers about their Tag Team Title Match against Owen Hart & The British Bulldog. Rick says that this is the opportunity they have been waiting for, for far too long Owen Hart & The British Bulldog have been the WWF Tag Team Champions but now The Steiner Brothers want The Tag Team Titles, The Steiners also say that one of them will win the Royal Rumble, it looks like more people are entering the Royal Rumble Match. Scott says that tonight, they are going to make history and become the WWF Tag Team Champions and if Public Enemy want to stick their nose in their business tonight, then they are going to take them out too.
(break)
Match 6: WWF Tag Team Championship Match The Steiner Brothers vs Owen Hart & The British Bulldog w/Jim Cornette The Steiners have been waiting for this opportunity and the opportunity has finally come as they try to regain the WWF Tag Team Titles here against Owen Hart & The British Bulldog. Rick and Owen start the match off. Rick and Owen have a good sequence with The Steiner Brothers gaining the early advantage but a distraction by Cornette gives Owen Hart & The British Bulldog the momentum, Owen & Bulldog do a great job of wearing down Scott for a good 3 minutes but Scott is able to fight back taking Bulldog down with a belly to belly suplex. Scott makes the hot tag to Rick who comes in a house of fire, Rick just goes to work on everyone, Rick and Scott re-enter the ring hitting combinations of Belly to Belly Suplexes on Owen and The Bulldog. Rick and Scott say that this is over. Rick grabs Owen and they are going for the tag team manover but here comes Bulldog, Bulldog takes Rick down to the mat with a clothesline and Scott gets out of the ring fighting with The Bulldog and both Scott and Bulldog fight out of the ring, Rick and Owen then stay in the ring. Rick then tries to go for a clothesline on Owen but Rick accidentally nails the referee and that allows Owen to hit the enziguri on Rick. Owen then applies the sharpshooter on Rick but wait a minute Owen sees the entryway and he sees SHAWN MICHAELS!. SHAWN MICHAELS IS HERE AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN!. The fans go nuts to see The Heartbreak Kid, and that distraction alone allows Rick to lift Owen on his shoulders and Scott gets back in the ring and hits the Bulldog on Owen and Rick has the cover. Bulldog tries to stop Rick but Scott kicks at him and The Steiner Brothers have done it, They have won the WWF Tag Team Titles with the help of The Heartbreak Kid. What a victory for The Steiner Brothers. The New Year has kicked off right with The Steiner Brothers becoming The Tag Team Champions Winners and New WWF Tag Team Champions: The Steiner Brothers
HBK gets in the ring and celebrates with The Steiners but here comes The Public Enemy and Shawn leaves the ring so he can't get injured again and The Public Enemy ruin The Steiners's celebration and The Steiners knew they were coming, and it's a pier four brawl, they take the fight outside the ring and disappear into the backstage area meanwhile Owen and Bulldog leave the ring and are very upset and Shawn picks up a microphone saying that he may not be 100% but he just wanted to let Owen Hart know that what Owen & His Crew did to him last November only made him stronger, so he says that the next time that he's 100% will be at the Royal Rumble, because The Heartbreak Kid will see Owen Hart in the Royal Rumble Match and after he tosses his nuggety butt over the top rope to the floor, he is going to do the same thing to Bulldog and anyone who stands in his way because The Heartbreak Kid will never retire. HBK guarantees by the end of the night at the Royal Rumble, Owen will be tasting a little sweet chin music courtesy of Shawn Michaels. Michaels says that 1996 will be the year of The Heartbreak Kid and when he wins the Royal Rumble. He will realize his boyhood dream at WrestleMania 12 and become the World Wrestling Federation Champion. Michaels does his celebratory pose as Lawler begins to scream this as an injustice, The Heartbreak Kid shouldn't even be back McMahon. McMahon then says that HBK is indeed a 100% alive and well. McMahon announces that next week's Main Event will be Bret Hart going one on one with Sycho Sid and Vader might be there to scout Bret Hart closely, but that's next week right now Michaels is celebrating in the ring as RAW goes off the air.

- The first RAW of 1996, New Years Day and it was a great show
- Vader the WWF Champion beating Tatanka he didn't just beat Tatanka he manhandled Tatanka dominated him I mean The Man They Call Vader ever since becoming WWF Champion he has become more and more dominant and him showcasing that here against Tatanka I mean Bret "The Hitman" Hart he is going to have to deal with all of that at the 1996 Royal Rumble PPV when Bret Hart faces Vader for the WWF Championship
- Vader saying that he will be WWF Champion not only after the Royal Rumble but that he will be the champion heading into WrestleMania 12 and he very well might I mean who will be able to beat Vader? I mean at least to my recollection Vader is undefeated here in the WWF or he has been undefeated ever since coming to the WWF in late 1995 and especially now that he is the WWF Champion I mean this mastadon is seemingly taking control
- WWF superstars being announced for the 1996 30-Man Royal Rumble Match I mean Liger is an entrant now but also are the tag team of Public Enemy and last year's Royal Rumble Match winner Razor Ramon...Razor he won last year's Royal Rumble Match in this diary in 1995 and went on to headline WrestleMania 11 in the main event for the WWF Championship where he beat Bret Hart in order to become WWF Champion but will Razor be able to win back to back Royal Rumble Matches? The odds of winning it 2 years in a row are not too great but Razor Ramon he has to be an odds on favorite in this 30-man Royal Rumble Match
- Liger beating Jeff Hardy here I mean this was nothing more than a way for Liger to gain momentum heading into the Royal Rumble PPV and considering Liger is going to be in the 30-man Royal Rumble Match I mean he has to be a darkhorse I mean the man is practically a rookie here in the WWF but he has been impressive since coming in and then seeing the WWF Intercontinental Champion Goldust show up during the match but then post-match he and Liger staring down only for the WWF Commissioner Rowdy Roddy Piper to make the announcement that Goldust will be defending the WWF Intercontinental Championship at the Royal Rumble PPV against Liger I mean that's a huge match so Liger will be doing double duty so then I wonder if Goldust will also be doing double duty as well?
- Jake The Snake Roberts in the 1996 WWF Royal Rumble Match I mean he too has got to be considered a favorite
- I wonder if The King, Jerry Lawler if Lawler will also be an entrant in the 1996 Royal Rumble Match? I wonder if Mr. Perfect will also be an entrant in the 1996 Royal Rumble Match?
- Bret Hart he is confident that he will walk out WWF Champion at the 1996 Royal Rumble PPV but he has never ever been in the ring with a man like Vader, a man who is not only huge in size and strength but a man for his size and strength who is also agile and is an athlete too on top of it so I can only imagine how The Hitman will be able to lock on the Sharpshooter on Vader? I mean Vader is undefeated here in the WWF
- Diesel and Taker their match ending in a DQ with Diesel getting the DQ win with Taker getting himself DQed I mean it is obvious he wanted to punish Diesel here and it is obvious Diesel wanted to punish Taker here I mean these 2 were brawling that not even officials and referees could break it up hell not even Paul Bearer could break it up and Piper you would think as the WWF Commissioner that he would be able to restore order here but Diesel getting in Piper's face I wonder if that was a mistake? Taker lays out Diesel with a Tombstone Piledriver on the concrete here I mean after this brawl Piper has had enough and Piper makes the announcement that The Undertaker will start the 30-man Royal Rumble Match as the #1 entrant and Diesel he will be #2 they have to start off the Rumble Match together as #1 and #2 I mean after that announcement I would say there's no way Taker or Diesel walk out the Royal Rumble Match winner I mean they would have to last at least 1 full hour possibly even more than that if they were to walk out the winner and for men their size I mean they would have to have a lot of stamina in order to last that long
- Hunter Hearst Helmsley beats Marty Jannetty, I mean Helmsley had quite the breakthrough year in 1995 winning the WWF Intercontinental Championship but also winning King of the Ring in 1995 and he could have become WWF Champion but now that it is 1996 I mean Hunter since he is in the Royal Rumble Match I mean he has to be considered a favorite but at the same time it comes down to luck of the draw with the Royal Rumble tumbler but I have to wonder if Hunter's manager his valet Perfect if he will be in the Royal Rumble Match? Could you imagine if Perfect is in there with Helmsley? Will it then truly be every man for himself?
- Ahmed Johnson with a huge win beating Mabel of the Million Dollar Corporation I mean Ahmed he continues to impress here in the WWF I mean ever since he lost his undefeated streak Ahmed has been on quite a tear in the WWF finding ways to win matches even after he lost in a heartbreaker in the Season's Beatings WWF Championship #1 Contender's Tournament losing to the man who ended his undefeated streak that being The British Bulldog but Ahmed ever since has basically been on a tear and him beating Mabel just proves that he just may be a favorite in the 1996 Royal Rumble Match but then post-match Ahmed being attacked by The Million Dollar Team being attacked by Mabel, Sid, Kama, Crush and Steve Austin and then being further humiliated with the $100 bill being stuffed into his mouth by The Million Dollar Man I mean who will be able to stop The Million Dollar Corporation in the 1996 Royal Rumble Match I mean that's 5 members 5 strong in the Corporation but at the same time it is every man for himself so we will truly see if they work as a unit or if they all turn on each other because the main event of WrestleMania 12 only one of them can go on to main event Mania
- So The Steiners basically announce that they will be a part of the 1996 Royal Rumble Match? If that is the case it makes sense since Public Enemy are in the Royal Rumble Match too
- And in the main event The Steiner Brothers become the new WWF Tag Team Champions by beating The British Bulldog and Owen Hart, major assist goes to Shawn Michaels I mean The Heartbreak Kid making his dramatic return to the World Wrestling Federation, the man who Owen Hart put on the shelf returns to haunt him and Michaels just his mere presence was enough for Owen to be distracted as the Steiners took full advantage but then post-match The Steiners' celebration is cut short because of Public Enemy showing up and after that I can see it leading to both teams doing double duty with the WWF Tag Team Championships being on the line with The Steiners defending their titles against Public Enemy at the PPV but then both teams being in the Royal Rumble Match
- Michaels telling Owen and Bulldog that the next time that they will see him will be at the 1996 Royal Rumble PPV because Michaels will be one of the 30 men who will be in the 1996 Royal Rumble Match, Michaels has to be the odds on favorite the favorite to win the 1996 Royal Rumble Match and I am going with Michaels to win the 1996 Royal Rumble Match and headline WrestleMania 12 but if Bulldog and Owen are going to be in the 1996 Royal Rumble Match then they too have to be considered favorites

Terry Funk now that he is going to be here in the World Wrestling Federation I wonder if Mick Foley/Cactus Jack/Mankind/Dude Love if he will show up in the WWF as well? Definitely debut Foley as Mankind
Marc Mero and Sable on their way to the WWF I definitely can't wait
As for The Ultimate Warrior if he returns at best I can see him as a part-timer
But as for superstars that I can see making their debuts here in the WWF are Farooq, Bradshaw, Mankind, Rocky Maivia, etc. with the old guard leaving like Diesel, Razor Ramon, Tatanka, Crush, Mabel, Jarrett, Steiners etc. ushering in the Monday Night Wars between WCW and the WWF ushering in the Attitude Era for stables like DX, Nation of Domination, nWo in WCW
Ushering in the new generation of Attitude Era stars in the WWF

WCW NITRO - January 8. 1996
Eric Bischoff and Bobby Heenan are your hosts for tonight, they announce that Hulk Hogan will face off against Arn Anderson, then they announce the tournament and the 8 participants feature Chris Benoit. Dean Malenko. Randy Savage. Diamond Dallas Page. Paul Orndorff. The Giant. Lord Steven Regal and Sting.
Match 1: US Title Quarter-Finals Match Chris Benoit vs Paul Orndorff And we kick off with the undefeated Chris Benoit taking on Paul Orndorff. And this is a great matchup between these two with Orndorff gaining the advantage against Benoit. Orndorff whips Benoit into the buckle and hits a high back body drop on Benoit. Orndorff knocks him out of the ring with a clothesline. Benoit regains the momentum again against Orndorff. Benoit chops away at Orndorff and takes him into the buckle chopping away at him. Orndorff battles back and hits a top-rope clothesline on Benoit but only gets a nearfall. Orndorff sets up for the piledriver but Benoit backdrops him to the mat and hits a german suplex on Orndorff followed by a diving headbutt off the top rope to get the clean victory, and what a win for Benoit defeating another veteran in Orndorff. Benoit continues his undefeated ways but will he face the winner of Diamond Dallas Page and Dean Malenko?. Winner: Chris Benoit
(break)
Back from the break and we have the WCW Champion Lex Luger in the ring with Mean "Gene" Okerlund". Okerlund speaks and asks why has Lex Luger requested this interview time. Luger says that after Starrcade when he defeated Hulk Hogan and at the last Nitro he put Terry Funk out of WCW and Hulk Hogan had the audacity to ruin his celebration party, well Hogan signed his own death warrant and he wants Hogan to face him at Clash of The Champions not for a fight, but he wants Hogan to sign a contract to face Lex Luger at Superbrawl for the WCW Championship because he knows how bad Hogan wants his re-match clause and he'll give it to him under the condition that he signs the contract. Luger tells Hogan that at Starrcade, he didn't need anyone to help him beat Hulkamania, he made Hogan tap out and that's what will happen at Superbrawl because The Death of Hulkamania happened at Starrcade, and the burial will happen at Superbrawl when he buries Hulkamania for good. Luger requests that Okerlund leaves so that he has something to say about Hulk Hogan. Luger says that ever since he left WCW and joined the WWF. He heard how good Hulk Hogan was in the WWF, so the first time when Luger came to the WWF. Hogan shook his hand and said that Luger was going to go far, but after Hogan left the WWF, that was when Luger took over, they wanted Luger to be the man of The United States, the man that would save everyone from a fat Japanese sushi-eating monster. And when he won the WWF Title, the WWF Championship didn't mean nothing to him, cause when he was the champion. The only thing he kept hearing and talking about was how big Hulk Hogan was in WCW. And he got sick and tired of it, it made him feel like they had no respect for Lex Luger because all of the wrestling fans turned on Luger just when he won the WWF Title because he was trying to protect the WWF, he was trying to be the next Hulkamania changing into Lugermania. But Hulk Hogan's a limey bastard that doesn't want to have his spotlight stolen and why cause There's no one big than Hulk Hogan now. Luger says that now he's the WCW Champion, people will finally give Lex Luger the respect that he deserves, because it's a new era now, it's a new time and after Superbrawl is over and when he's done with Hulk Hogan, it won't be Hulkamania anymore it will be Lugermania, and the fans will respect a true American hero as Luger drops the mic.
(break)
Match 2: Tag Team Match The Nasty Boys vs Meng & Barbarian Great tag team matchup here tonight with The Nasty Boys taking on Meng & The Barbarian, it's not an okay match. But Meng & Barbarian show their big powerful skill and prove their worth to the Dungeon of Doom as they beat The Nasty Boys with Meng hitting a tongan death grip on Jerry Sags to get the victory. Winners: Meng & Barbarian
(break)
Match 3: US Title Quarter Finals Match Sting vs Lord Steven Regal The winner of the quarterfinal matchup takes on either The Giant or Randy Savage next week, it's a good matchup between Sting and Steven Regal. Regal gets some good advantage in on Sting showing his veteran skills but Sting is able to battle back and avoids intereference from Steven Regal's buddies Robert Eaton and Dave Taylor by hitting them with a top-rope cross body and finishes Regal off with the Scorpion Deathdrop followed by the Deathlock to get the victory and Sting will face the winner of The Giant or Randy Savage next week which by the way will happen after the break. Winner: Sting
(break)
Match 4: US Title Quarter Finals Match The Giant w/Jimmy Hart vs Randy Savage Randy Savage and The Giant have had a rivalry before cause of The Giant's problems with Hulk Hogan. Savage starts off with some punches and some faze The Giant. Savage gets to the top rope and hits not 1, not 2, but 3 Double Axe Handles taking The Giant down. The Giant eventually battles back and dominates Savage in this matchup. The Giant totally dominates Savage here in this contest but Savage battles back and attempts a bodyslam but The Giant falls untop of Savage but only gets a nearfall. Savage battles back and rams The Giant's head into the buckle countless and numerous times but it still does not faze The Giant. Savage then goes to the top rope again and hits a cross body knocking The Giant down. Savage he can take on Sting next week if he can put The Giant down. Savage calls for a bodyslam and can Savage finally lift The Giant up and he does, Savage has bodyslammed The Giant but will he go for the elbow drop here?. Savage heads to the top rope and goes for the Elbow Drop but wait here comes Miss Elizabeth and Ric Flair they are distracting Savage. Elizabeth and Flair are on the entryway staring The Macho Man Down and that allows The Giant to hit a chokeslam on Savage taking him down to get the victory and advancing to the semi-finals to face Sting next week. Winner: The Giant
(break)
Match 5: 6-Man Tag Team Match Eddie Guerrero and The Road Warriors vs Harlem Heat & Big Bubba w/Mr. Wallstreet & Sherri This is a good 6-Man Tag Team Match here as Eddie Guerrero the TV Champion teams up with The Road Warriors against Harlem Heat & Big Bubba, great matchup here as These 6 have tremendous odds against each other. Eddie & The Road Warriors start off with the momentum but Harlem Heat & Big Bubba are able to fight back here in this contest and they do a great job of wearing down Eddie until Eddie makes the hot tag to Animal who comes in a house of fire going to work on everyone in this contest. The Warriors and Eddie have the match won but Big Bubba comes from behind as the referee is undetected with the brawl between The Road Warriors and Harlem Heat and Big Bubba hits Eddie with the nightstick undetected behind the Referee and Big Bubba & Harlem Heat get the win. Winners: Big Bubba & Harlem Heat
(break)
Match 6: US Title Quarter-Finals Match Dean Malenko vs Diamond Dallas Page w/Max Muscle and Kimberly It's been a few weeks since Dean Malenko made his WCW debut but he is entered in the US Title Tournament as he takes on Diamond Dallas Page. Malenko and DDP put on a great match with Malenko gaining the advantage against Page but Page is able to battle back in this contest and totally wears down Malenko but Malenko is able to come back in this contest and Malenko attempts to go for the Texas Cloverleaf but the referee is distracted by Kimberly and Muscle tries coming in but Malenko tosses him over the top rope to the floor and DDP attempts to go for the Diamond Cutter but Malenko rolls DDP up for a sunset flip to get the victory and Dean Malenko will face Chris Benoit in the semi-finals next week. Winner: Dean Malenko
(break)
Match 7: Hulk Hogan vs Arn Anderson w/Ric Flair Hulk Hogan who cannot be taken aback from the comments Lex Luger said just earlier tonight against Hulkamania takes a little bit of frustration out on Anderson and even takes out Flair on the outside as Hogan brawled with Anderson and took him into the steel steps. Anderson comes back after a distraction by Flair and hits Hogan with a clothesline. Anderson continues to go to work on Hogan as he continues to go for the injured back of Hulk Hogan cause of what happened at Starrcade with Lex Luger making Hogan tap out to the Torture Rack. Anderson attempts to get the win by hitting the spinebuster but Hogan does his hulkup on Anderson and whips Anderson into the ropes hitting a big boot to the face and hits the leg drop but as he goes for the cover. Ric Flair comes out and breaks up the count. Winner By DQ: Hulk Hogan
Flair comes in and chops away at Hogan but it doesn't even faze Hogan at all. Hogan hits Flair with a right hand and takes it to the WCW Tag Team Champions, but wait here comes Lex Luger. Luger just came at Hogan with a forearm and now This is an attack. The Four Horsemen are taking it to Hogan now and Luger gets out of the ring grabbing a Steel Chair. Flair and Anderson hold Hogan up so that Luger can bash Hogan's brains in but Hogan kicks the chair right in Luger's face and breaks free of Flair and Anderson's clutches hitting them with punch after punch. Hogan then picks up the chair and chases the entire Horsemen out of the ring with it and The Horsemen have to retreat but look at Hogan, he says something off mic saying that he'll be at Clash of The Champions to sign Luger's contract. Hogan then grabs a mic and tells Luger that he will be there at Clash of The Champions and what will the WCW Champion do at Superbrawl when Hulkamania runs wild on him. Hogan stares down the Four Horsemen as Nitro goes off the air.

WWF RAW - January 8. 1996 Before the show begins, we see Sunny on a pool table saying "Monday Night RAW contains graphic nature, viewer indiscretion, I mean viewer discretion is advised". Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler are your hosts. McMahon and Lawler announce that tonight's main event will be Bret Hart taking on Sycho Sid and Diesel will be in action as well as he takes on his good buddy The 123 Kid right now. Match 1: Diesel vs The 123 Kid This attitude of Diesel proves that he doesn't need no one as he takes on his good buddy The 123 Kid, but before the match. Diesel and The Kid shake hands but as Diesel tries to pull in The Kid for a clothesline. The Kid reverses it and gets away from Diesel telling him what the hell was that for and Diesel just replies saying he's sorry. Diesel charges into The Kid again but The Kid sees him and hits Diesel with a right hands and Diesel is rocked into the buckle and Diesel grabs The Kid by the throat and throws him into the buckle but Diesel misses a punch and The Kid hammers away at him and sends Diesel over the top rope knocking him out of the ring with a dropkick. The Kid then flies on the apron going for a cross body but Diesel sees The Kid and bearhugs him into the ringpost. Diesel tosses The Kid back in the ring where he dominates this contest. Diesel is not happy that he has to enter at #2 in the Royal Rumble to face the #1 entry in the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match and that man is The Undertaker who could be lurking in the shadows somewhere, speaking of as Diesel controls the pace in the match. The Lights flicker on and off in the arena beginning to frighten Diesel a bit and that allows The Kid to make a comeback hitting a missile dropkick on Diesel but only getting a two count. The Kid tries to make a comeback and almost puts Diesel away with a Tornado DDT but Diesel still hangs on. The Kid sets up for the X-Factor but Diesel throws him off the ropes and hits a tremendous boot to the face. Diesel grabs The Kid setting him up for the jackknife and he connects with it. Diesel makes quick work of The Kid by putting his foot on The Kid's chest to get the victory. Diesel proving his dominance once again here tonight. Winner: Diesel Diesel doesn't want to get his hand raised as he begins to pick up the microphone saying that this was just an example of what he is going to do to 29 others because he doesn't care if he is the #2 entrant, and he doesn't care if he kicks The Undertaker's ass or throws him over the top rope early. The fact is that whoever wins the WWF Title at The Royal Rumble, he is going to WrestleMania 12 and become the World Wrestling Federation Champion and he doesn't give a damn what Roddy Piper thinks of Big Daddy Cool, Piper may be in charge around here but Big Daddy Cool will be in charge at the Royal Rumble, then suddenly The Undertaker's gong sounds in the arena as the lights go out in the arena, and then The Deadman appears on the Video Wall telling Diesel that The Royal Rumble is drawing near and what he says will be true, but it won't be Diesel, somebody is going to WrestleMania 12 to challenge the WWF Champion and that man will be The Undertaker. Undertaker says that when him and Diesel are the first two men stepping in the ring at the Royal Rumble. Diesel will know who the true monster of the World Wrestling Federation really is and him and all 28 others will all Rest in Peace. Taker rolls his eyes back as the video wall goes out again as Diesel is still standing in the darkness and begins to speak again saying that this is the attitude he's been talking about, people always dodge him, then The Undertaker's gong sounds again and then the lights go out once more and then the lights come back on to reveal The Undertaker standing in the ring. Taker and Diesel are going face to face, can we see another explosion like we saw at Madison Square Garden?. But Diesel thinks better of the situation and begins to walk out of the ring. Diesel then says "At The Royal Rumble, Deadman on my terms. Undertaker stands in the ring as he could be the odds on favorite to win the 1996 Royal Rumble, but he'll have to do it as the #1 entrant. Todd Pettengill gives us the 1996 Royal Rumble Report. Pettengill talks about the matches that will be happening including a new match just added as The Public Enemy take on The Steiner Brothers for the WWF Tag Team Titles. Then Pettengill talks about the new Royal Rumble Entries, and the 4 that have just been announced Yokozuna. Fatu. Jeff Jarrett and returning to the WWF for over 10 years. Terry Funk, pre-recorded comments are from Jeff Jarrett alongside his partner Buddy Landell. Jarrett says that last year at the Royal Rumble he was the first man eliminated but guarantees that he won't be the first man eliminated nor the last man eliminated because he is going to WrestleMania 12 to become the World Wrestling Federation Champion and whether it's Bret Hart or Vader, Jeff Jarrett is walking into WrestleMania as the challenger and he's walking out of WrestleMania as the WWF Champion. (break) Match 2: Yokozuna and Fatu vs Jake Steele and Kenny King The tag team of Yokozuna and Fatu still continues to be strong as they dominate Steele and King in this match, Yokozuna gets the win by hitting the Banzai Drop on King to get the victory, but Yokozuna and Fatu, one of them will be victorious in the 1996 Royal Rumble because it's every man for himself. Winners: Yokozuna and Fatu (break) Match 3: Non-Title Match Goldust vs Duke Droese Duke Droese has not been seen on RAW since but he has a real struggle to get as he takes on the Intercontinental Champion Goldust. Droese gets some offense in against Goldust but Goldust is able to keep the momentum going until Droese makes a comeback and tries to put Goldust away by nailing him with the Trash Compactor but Goldust reverses it and nails Droese with a running bulldog to get the win. And what a dominant victory for the reigning Intercontinental Champion as he wrestles Jushin Thunder Liger in 13 days at the Royal Rumble for the Intercontinental Championship, will Goldust hang on to his title or will Jushin Thunder Liger score his first singles WWF Title at the Royal Rumble?. Winner: Goldust (break) We cut somewhere to Canada and it looks like Vader and Jim Cornette are walking somewhere, ohhh no They are walking to Bret's father's house, ohhh no this is not good, this cannot be good. Match 4: Bret Hart vs Sycho Sid w/Ted Dibiase and The Million Dollar Corporation Bret Hart who is not aware that Vader is likely to invade his father's house takes on Sycho Sid in this one on one contest. Bret gets a good amount of momentum against Sid hammering away at him with right hands but Sid battles back and tries to put Bret away with the jackknife early but Bret backdrops out of it and chopblocks the legs of Sid taking him down. Bret tries to put the sharpshooter but Sid tosses him out of the ring and Dibiase instructs his troops to go after Bret giving Sid momentum as Sid is distracting the referee. Sid begins to dominate the match and almost gets the win by hitting the chokeslam but Bret is able to kick out. Bret makes a comeback and fights back against Sid. Bret heads to the top rope and hits a diving clothesline but it only gets a two count. Bret begins to signal for the Sharpshooter and he has it locked on but Sid throws Bret off and Sid kicks Bret in the gut going for the jackknife but Bret reverses it into a sunset flip on Sid but Sid is able to kick out. Sid then gives Bret a boot to the face and goes for another powerbomb but Bret takes Sid down by the legs and sets up for the sharpshooter and he's got it locked in, but wait a minute there's Owen Hart. Owen gets in the ring and Bret goes to punch Owen but Owen tells him that there is something going on at their Father's house and that Vader is in his house. Winner: Draw Bret is in shock that Owen tells him, but then the video wall pops up to Vader attacking some of Stu's friends in the dungeon and look at this, Stu Hart is in the dungeon handcuffed with ducttape in his mouth. Cornette begins to take the ducttape out as Vader begins to punch him but Cornette asks Stu how dumb is his son knowing that he has to face the monster and the Mastadon, because tonight Vader wanted to be here to teach Bret Hart a lesson but tonight, he's going to teach Bret Hart a lesson here at his own house and although Bret's standing in that ring, he wishes Bret was home to help his father out because right now Vader's going to give Bret's father the beating of his lifetime, Owen picks up the microphone and tells Cornette and Vader that they don't have to do this. Cornette tells Owen that Vader has no choice because Vader's going to prove to Bret Hart just like he proved to Razor Ramon at Survivor Series and Season's Beatings that Bret is just a fake and a phony. Vader grabs his leather belt and begins to whip Stu a few times with it. Vader then gives him one stiff blow knocking him out as Owen and Bret are in shocked standing in the ring unbelievably in shock. (break) Backstage. Bret Hart is in his locker room on the phone as Owen begins to go nuts and look who is with Bret & Owen, The British Bulldog as well, even The British Bulldog is upset at Vader and Cornette's actions. Then Dok Hendrix gets in the locker room and tries to speak to Bret but Owen cuts him off and tells Vader that he crossed the line beating him and Bret's father like that, so next week, he'll be considered no longer a member of Camp Cornette because he wants to take on Vader in a non-title match and Owen will teach The Mastadon a lesson cause when he beat down his father, Vader beat down the whole Hart Family and Vader will find that out next week on Monday Night RAW. McMahon and Lawler begin to comment over the actions of Vader and Lawler says that Vader teached Bret Hart a lesson in beating down Stu Hart. Lawler says that although he says things about Bret and his family, tonight he's at a loss and there is no doubt in his mind that although Bret won't win the title, he is going to give Vader a beating he'll never forget. McMahon and Lawler sign us off with next week's show as The Steiner Brothers defend their Tag Team Titles against Kama & Crush, and Shawn Michaels will be interviewed in his home talking about the 1996 Royal Rumble Match.

- After what Vader the WWF Champion & Jim Cornette have done invading the Hart Family Dungeon showing up to the Hart family home in Calgary, Alberta and Vader attacking Stu Hart as well as Stu Hart's friends I wonder if after that we could see a babyface turn from Owen Hart and The British Bulldog? Or if maybe it is all a smokescreen and Owen & Bulldog actually loved every minute of this? If they didn't and Owen & Bulldog are no longer members of Camp Cornette after this then I wonder if there won't be any repercussions from them leaving Camp Cornette? Vader vs Owen next week on RAW I wonder if next week during that match if Bret Hart will show up during that match? If he does then I can see him, Bulldog and Owen all going after Vader and if that happens then Vader the WWF Champion he may have bitten off more than he can chew right there
- Shawn Michaels being interviewed in his home about the 1996 Royal Rumble Match I wonder if Shawn Michaels since he will be a 1996 Royal Rumble Match entrant just what number Shawn Michaels could draw in the Royal Rumble Match? It all comes down to luck of the draw because Shawn he could come in there at any number but Shawn has to be the sentimental favorite in the match
- However seeing the main event of Bret "The Hitman" Hart and Sycho Sid ending in a Draw I mean I wonder if Owen showing up and Bret leaving the match wouldn't that be a countout victory for Sid then? But Sid he had this match won but Bret Hart he took it to Sid too at the same time but I wonder if that whole Hart Family Dungeon attack if it was all a set-up? If it was all staged I mean it could be possible think about it the footage could have been altered could have been faked as a way to play head games with Bret and Owen & Bulldog are simply just in on it I wouldn't put it past those 2 guys
- Yokozuna and Fatu as a tag team I really like these 2 as a tag team and seeing them together beat the team of Steele and King no doubt was a squash match basically for these 2 basically putting them over as not only monsters but as favorites for the 1996 Royal Rumble Match and since they are both entrants in the match a tag team it is every man for himself and only one of them can go on to Mania so you can look for Yokozuna to turn on Fatu or vice versa...Royal Rumble...no friends only enemies
- WWF Intercontinental Champion Goldust beating Duke "The Dumpster" Droese I mean this was nothing more than Goldust gaining momentum heading into the 1996 Royal Rumble pay per view considering he has to defend his WWF Intercontinental Championship against Liger but also I wonder if Goldust will be one of the 30 entrants in the 1996 Royal Rumble Match pulling double duty? Either way Liger I wondered why he didn't show up during Goldust's match to try to play head games mind games with Goldust?
- Diesel with this new attitude of his I think it is safe to say that he is heading towards a heel turn I mean it is pretty much inevitable that he is turning heel I mean he's essentially a tweener now and him beating The 123 Kid one of his good friends in The Kliq I mean it is safe to say Diesel is turning heel or his heel run could gain some steam especially with the crowd more or less turning on Diesel if they haven't now they will eventually but then Diesel post-match calling Taker out but also issuing a warning to Taker as well as the rest of the 28 Royal Rumble Match participants that he doesn't care who he has to go through he's winning the 1996 Royal Rumble Match well I wonder how Diesel is going to do that when he is the #2 entrant? If he is going to win it he is going to have to last at least 1 hour maybe even more to outlast 29 other superstars and The Undertaker his chances in the 1996 Royal Rumble Match do not look good either because he has to start the match as the #1 entrant as the first guy out there and if he is going to win it he is going to have to last over an hour to outlast 29 other superstars basically both The Undertaker and Diesel have no chance but the main difference between Taker and Diesel is that Taker in this diary he has won a Royal Rumble Match before winning it in 1993 while Diesel he has never won a Rumble

WWF RAW - January 15. 1996
Before RAW begins, a video tribute is shown of Martin Luther King despite his birthday being tomorrow, and then it goes to Sunny on a pool table saying the same thing like she said last week in where viewer discretion is advised, then the clip is shown of what happened last week with Vader attacking Stu Hart, and a voiceover from Vince saying that Owen Hart wants to seek revenge on the WWF Champion Vader.
Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler are your hosts, they talk about the match between Owen Hart and Vader tonight in where Jim Cornette is trying to talk Owen Hart out of this match and even Roddy Piper is sanctioning the matchup as well, The Steiner Brothers will take on Kama and Crush for the WWF Tag Team Titles and tonight Shawn Michaels will be interviewed live in his house and featuring the debut of Mark Henry as well.
Match 1: WWF Tag Team Championship Match The Steiner Brothers vs Kama and Crush w/Ted Dibiase Just two weeks after winning the WWF Tag Team Title Belts, The Steiner Brothers will wrestle Kama and Crush for those belts tonight and if they are successful tonight, they will take on Public Enemy at the Royal Rumble with the Belts on the line. Scott starts off the match with Crush with Scott getting the advantage over the former prisoner Crush. Scott makes the tag to Rick who comes in against Crush and Rick whips Crush into the ropes hitting a high back body drop. But The Corporation make a comeback in this match with Kama and Crush wearing down Scott as Scott gets totally isolated until he makes the hot tag to Rick who comes in a house of fire on Kama and Crush. Rick gives Crush and Kama both a double clothesline. As Crush and Kama attempted a double clothesline of their own. Rick and Scott set up for victory but wait a minute here comes The Public Enemy coming in to attack The Steiners. Winners By DQ and Still WWF Tag Team Champions: The Steiner Brothers
The Public Enemy enter the ring to attack The Steiners but The Steiners knew that they were coming and it's a pull apart brawl between Public Enemy and The Steiner Brothers. The Public Enemy eventually get the Champions out of the ring, then Kama and Crush come in to yell at The Public Enemy and look at this Crush just hit Rocco and there's a brawl between The Public Enemy and Kama and Crush. The Public Enemy get the upper hand and bring Kama and Crush down. But then The Steiners come back in to attack Public Enemy and then The Steiners and Public Enemy engage in a brawl once again and the fight spills outside the ring, officials and refs try to stop The Steiners and Public Enemy from fighting in doing so, but it's no use, in 6 days these two will square off at the 1996 Royal Rumble for the WWF Tag Team Championship.
Dok Hendrix gives the Royal Rumble Report for one more time. Hendrix talks about the Royal Rumble Match, Hendrix announces four new entries. Bam Bam Bigelow, Unabomb and Jerry "The King" Lawler and The Roadie. Comments are from The Roadie, The Roadie says that 1995 was a big year when he was the one that sang "With My Baby Tonight" because he proved to the world that Jeff Jarrett is truly a phony here in the World Wrestling Federation. But 1996 promises to be a better year for The Roadie because The Roadie is entering himself into the Royal Rumble Match and he wants to be the one going to WrestleMania 12 singing his way to the top and becoming the World Wrestling Federation Champion. Hendrix then announces that at the Royal Rumble, we would see a one-on-one match and the winner would advance in the Royal Rumble as Tatanka goes head to head with Skip in which the winner would get the final spot in the Royal Rumble.
(break)
Match 2: Mark Henry vs Alex Porteau
What a debut for the Former Olympian Mark Henry who gets a big standing ovation from the crowd cause he is indeed a former Olympian and a weight-lifter is well. Henry shows off some good offensive skills by totally dominating Porteau and gets the win by hitting a Military Press Powerslam to get the win, and what a victory for the Former Olympian in his RAW Debut, but the question is can he continue in a big way by outlasting 29 others to win the 30-man Royal Rumble and go on to WrestleMania to become the first African male to win the World Wrestling Federation Championship?. anything can happen in the World Wrestling Federation. Winner: Mark Henry[/div] Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler take us to Shawn Michaels's house in where McMahon asks Shawn how is the concussion after the attack by Camp Cornette last November. HBK speaks and says that the beating he suffered was very rough, because last September if anyone remembers that Camp Cornette tried to take him out and then he was out on RAW for a while but then in October, something happened to him in a bar where he was attacked by nine people and the damage showed that he was severely hurt, but like a fool Shawn is and the daredevil he is, they let him return to Survivor Series to win the wildcard match and then his plan at revenge failed because when Owen Hart kicked him in his head, he remembered standing then at the same time he remembered that he was down, and then the next thing he knew he woke up in the Hospital Bed. McMahon says that 1995 was an up and down year for the Heartbreak Kid, returning from an attack by Sid, reuniting with his friend Diesel and winning the Tag Team Titles and now he gets sidelined by Camp Cornette, but Shawn is rejuvenated now and is in the 1996 Royal Rumble Match. McMahon then asks Shawn that both The Undertaker and Diesel have been entered as the #1 and #2 entry, if they're both in the final three with Shawn, what will happen when Shawn or Diesel turn on the other?. Shawn says that he knows Diesel is his best friend and they've been friends for a very long time, they've been down the road together, fought together and beat the hell out of each other, but it's every man for himself and Shawn wants to kick off 1996 by winning the Royal Rumble Match and going to WrestleMania to become the WWF Champion. McMahon then says what will happen if Owen Hart tries to come after him and injures him again. Shawn says that he knows Owen has a plan but seeing what Owen, Bulldog and Vader have up their sleeve. The Heartbreak Kid is a firm believer that there's going to be a setup tonight when Owen Hart takes on Vader because what happened last week he believes that Owen Hart & The British Bulldog planned this assault on Stu Hart, and whatever is going on tonight, you can rest assured that plan will come back to bite them. Vince asks one more thing if Shawn were to win the Royal Rumble, who is he most looking forward to see win the WWF Championship Match either Vader or Bret Hart?. Shawn says that it's a tough choice because he's felt the wrath of Vader before and the first time he was injured is because of Vader, but Bret Hart is a tough competitor and should he beat Vader, Then Shawn knows him and Bret at WrestleMania 12 are going to tear down the house, because they've torn down houses before, Survivor Series 1992. Shawn admits that he failed, his boastingness got the best of him, but he's over that, so at the Royal Rumble, whoever wins the WWF Title at WrestleMania will have to contend with The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels. (break) Backstage. Jim Cornette is trying to calm Vader down telling him that Owen was just joking around and he should have not taken it out on Stu Hart. Vader was just trying to teach Bret Hart a lesson before the Royal Rumble. Vader then grabs Cornette by the throat and tells him that he doesn't give a damn what Owen thinks of him, what Stu thinks of him, what The Bulldog thinks of him, what anybody in the Camp Cornette thinks of him and he certainly doesn't give a damn about what Bret thinks of him. When the Royal Rumble ends. Vader's going to take the garbage out of Bret Hart and prove to the world that it will be Vader Time just like he did to Razor Ramon at Survivor Series and Season's Beatings. Bret Hart's going to learn that lesson and speaking of lessons, he's got another lesson waiting in the wings for the Hitman as Cornette smiles at that, could this be a setup like Shawn Michaels stated?. Match 3: Steve Austin w/Ted Dibiase vs Kenny King Steve Austin, the self proclaimed Million Dollar Corporation gets a lot of momentum heading into the Royal Rumble Match, but joining Lawler and McMahon on commentary is the Bad Guy Razor Ramon. Austin totally gets the win by dominating King using the modified stunner but when he sees Razor Ramon, he decides to use the Razor's Edge on King that does not make Razor happy as Austin gets the victory. After the match. Austin gets on the outside beginning to stare down Razor as Lawler begins to scream at Razor saying that Austin's the new Bad Guy. Razor takes a shot at Lawler and that allows Austin to come right at the former WWF Champion with punches and kicks, but that's when Razor gets the upper hand on Austin and Razor tosses Austin back in the ring and Razor kicks Austin in the gut setting up for the Razor's Edge but Austin gets out of dodge and it looks like Austin has made an enemy for life. But the question remains can Razor Ramon do the unthinkable and win back to back rumbles like Hulk Hogan did in 1990 and 1991?. Winner: Steve Austin Backstage. Owen Hart and The British Bulldog are talking and Bulldog seems to be calming Owen down but Owen tells Davey that he doesn't want to hear any of it, What Vader did to his father was wrong and Owen believes that it wasn't right because of what Vader tried to prove, Owen says that he may not like his brother, but Bret's right. Vader is tough and he says that Vader wants to teach Bret Hart a lesson, well that lesson will be learned for Vader. Owen storms out as Bulldog tries to talk him out of this but Owen is just walking with a purpose, he means business. (break) Match 4: Non-Title Match Vader w/Jim Cornette vs Owen Hart Owen Hart's clearly not here to accept Vader's apology, he's here cause he means business. Owen heads to the top rope to hit a missile dropkick on the WWF Champion kicking the match off, but it doesn't effect Vader and look at Owen punch away at Vader. Owen is clearly taking it to Vader as Lawler says that this is not fair, these two are going to rip each other apart and it's because of what Vader did to Stu Hart. Vader finally gains the momentum by hammering away at Owen with some body shots and knocking him down with a short-arm clothesline. Vader scoops up Owen and goes for a military press slam but Owen reverses it and runs off the ropes going for a hurracarana but Vader has Owen up for the powerbomb and as Vader gets to set it up. Owen counters with a hurracarana taking the WWF Champion down. Can you believe it?. Owen goes to the top rope and goes for a cross body but Vader knocks him down with a stiff clothesline, then suddenly Bret Hart runs out to attack the Champion with some punches, Bret is just taking it to Vader here. Winner By DQ: Vader Bret is just punching away at Vader and Owen gets up beginning to watch but as Bret goes to lock in the sharpshooter on Vader. Owen runs off the ropes and nails Bret with a clothesline, WHAT?. IT WAS A DAMNED SET UP ALL ALONG!. Owen and Vader begin to put the boots to Bret as Cornette tells Bret that Owen and The Bulldog were in this attack on Stu Hart all along because they video recorded everything of what Vader did to Stu Hart. Speaking of Bulldog, he comes in alongside Unabomb and look at this, this is a total beatdown on The Hitman. Vader begins to slap at The Hitman, but then suddenly Bret gets some help as Razor Ramon runs to the ring. Razor begins to clean house on Camp Cornette and takes Vader down to the mat with a tackle. Razor clearly has not forgotten about Survivor Series, and The 123 Kid also comes out as well to fight with Owen, it's starting to look like a Royal Rumble folks, and here come The Steiner Brothers as well. The Steiners begin to go after everyone, and here come The Million Dollar Corporation, Austin. Crush. Kama and Sid. Austin sees Razor fighting with The Bulldog. So he attacks Razor, Austin and Razor fight on the outside meanwhile all hell is breaking loose in the inside in the ring, then Ahmed Johnson runs down to ringside to go after the Corporation followed by Yokozuna and Fatu. Then The Public Enemy come in to go after The Steiners, it seems like the Royal Rumble has just begun, and here comes Goldust, but Goldust is just standing there watching the brawl. Then Jushin Liger appears on the RAW Stage and nails a diving cross body on Goldust can you believe that. Liger sacrificed his own body to take out Goldust, meanwhile Bret and Vader are fighting on the outside with referees and officials trying to separate them. The Steiners and The Public Enemy are fighting through the crowd, it is total bedlam here. Jeff Jarrett also runs down as well followed by Savio Vega and The Roadie to get involved in this and here comes Diesel. Diesel begins to go after everyone in the ring, he clears some people out of the ring then as Diesel stands tall in the ring, the lights go out in the arena as the bell begins to toll and the lights come back on to reveal The Undertaker in the ring with Diesel. And look at this Undertaker is going right to work on Diesel. Diesel and Undertaker are exchanging blows in the center of the ring meanwhile people are fighting on the outside, this is total chaos and it's the Royal Rumble. But the fans go nuts as Shawn Michaels's music plays in the arena and there you see The Heartbreak Kid surveying the brawl in the middle of the ring as he makes his way to the arena. Lawler screams that he thought Shawn was in Texas doing his interview, but it looks like Shawn was here all this time. RAW goes off the air with all the competitors in the Royal Rumble brawling.

Final go-home show before the 1996 Royal Rumble pay per view and honestly it was such a great RAW
Steiner Brothers retaining their WWF Tag Team Championships beating Kama and Crush of The Million Dollar Corporation well Kama & Crush they had The Steiners right where they wanted them had them beat but then Public Enemy shows up throwing the match out as they attack The Steiner Brothers but then attack Kama and Crush too I mean what was that about? I guess that just goes to show us that Public Enemy all they care about are themselves and being WWF Tag Team Champions that it doesn't matter who they go through but then seeing all 3 teams in a brawl I mean just goes to show us that the WWF Tag Team division is heating up
Bam Bam Bigelow, Unabomb, Jerry The King Lawler and The Roadie all as entrants for the 1996 Royal Rumble Match I mean they all have to be considered favorites as well I mean this just goes to show us just how star studded this Royal Rumble Match is becoming
Tatanka vs Skip of The Bodydonnas I can't wait and it is to determine the final spot in the Royal Rumble Match I guess that this match will be the match that kicks off the Royal Rumble pay per view this Sunday in your diary
Mark Henry in his debut beating a jobber I mean this is one way of putting over Henry but also at the same time Henry is introduced to the WWF but now that he is here I mean being a relative newcomer I see Henry on the rise here in the World Wrestling Federation but being the World's Strongest Man let's see how he does
Shawn Michaels definitely has to be the favorite the sentimental favorite to win the 1996 Royal Rumble Match and it doesn't matter what number he draws I see Michaels coming out the winner I mean he has not only the best odds but I wonder if there is any ring rust on the part of Michaels? I mean he hasn't been in the ring since Owen took him out since that bar brawl incident I mean he hasn't been in physical competition so I wonder if Michaels is really at 100 percent? I guess we will find out this Sunday at the 1996 Royal Rumble now won't we?
I think the whole Vader-Stu Hart incident was all staged and that it is a set-up it has to be and Bret Hart is walking right into a trap set by the WWF Champion Vader and by Camp Cornette I mean Owen and Bulldog this is all a set-up but then why would Bulldog and Owen set up Bret? Why would Owen allow Vader to attack his own father? Why would Bulldog let Vader attack his own father-in-law his wife Diana's father? Either way Bret is in for yet another betrayal
I wonder why Razor Ramon was on commentary for Steve Austin's match? I don't see why or what possible business Razor could have with Steve Austin but seeing Austin beat a relative jobber I mean this just puts Austin over as a darkhorse as far as the 1996 Royal Rumble Match is concerned and he is already the Million Dollar Champion but then Austin getting in Razor's face post-match only for the 2 of them to go at it if that was your way of building a feud between Austin and Razor Ramon then it makes sense
But Razor Ramon he has to be considered one of the favorites if not the favorite to win the 1996 Royal Rumble Match I mean in this diary Razor he won the 1995 Royal Rumble Match last year and he went on to the main event of WrestleMania 11 where he beat Bret to become WWF Champion but can Razor do it 2 years in a row win his second Rumble win back to back Rumbles? I mean the last time anyone did that in this diary was Hogan back in 1990 and 1991 but it all comes down to luck of the draw if anything
I knew it was a set-up, Bret walked right into a trap and he gets beat down by the WWF Champion Vader and by his brother Owen and his brother-in-law Bulldog and Unabomb joins in on the beatdown only for the cavalry to show up and multiple superstars show up the whole locker room clears out and everyone is brawling to end RAW I mean it makes sense because of the Royal Rumble Match...30 men...1 prize that being the main event of WrestleMania and the winner goes on to WrestleMania 12 in the main event for the WWF Championship facing whoever is the WWF Champion

WWF I can see them signing Pillman especially heading towards the Attitude Era years of 1997 since that is when The Attitude Era will truly start I just hope you do it justice
But for Saturday Night's Main Event coming back it makes sense because of WrestleMania season WrestleMania 12 and what not
But as for my Royal Rumble pay per view predictions:
Free for All: Winner Gets The #30 entry- Yokozuna vs Hunter Hearst Helmsley- Winner: Hunter Hearst Helmsley via pinfall (interference from Perfect)
Winner advances to the Royal Rumble Match- Tatanka vs Skip- Winner: Tatanka
WWF Intercontinental Championship- Goldust (c) w/Marlena vs Jushin Thunder Liger- Winner: Still WWF Intercontinental Champion Goldust via pinfall
WWF Tag Team Championship- The Steiner Brothers (c) vs Public Enemy- Winners: New WWF Tag Team Champions Public Enemy via pinfall
30-Man Royal Rumble Match- Shawn Michaels wins the 1996 Royal Rumble Match by last eliminating Diesel
WWF Championship- Bret Hart vs Vader (c)- Winner: Still WWF Champion Vader; by DQ Bret wins the match by DQ but since titles can't change hands on a DQ still WWF Champion Vader

My predictions...
Rumble Winner: Steve Austin
WWF Championship Match Bret Hart via DQ
WWF Tag Team Championship Match Double Countout
WWF Intercontinental Championship Match Jushin Thunder Liger to win the belt
Winner advances to the Royal Rumble Tatanka
Free For All: Winner gets the #30 entry. Yokozuna
I hope Brian Pillman is WWF-bound. Whether or not my Rumble match prediction is correct, it would be awesome to have an Austin-Pillman team up or rivalry.

We know The Undertaker and Diesel are going to be #1 and #2 but for the coveted #30 spot it could go to either Yokozuna or even Hunter Hearst Helmsley but the #30 spot whoever out of those 2 men enters at #30 they have the best odds of winning the 1996 Royal Rumble Match but luck of the draw I mean but you can bet that the 1996 Royal Rumble Match will not close out the show the WWF Championship match will be the main event of the evening that closes out the show with the 1996 Royal Rumble Match being what comes on before the championship match

WWF ROYAL RUMBLE - January 21. 1996 - Fresno, CA
Free For All Match: Hunter Hearst Helmsley D. Yokozuna to advance as the #30 entrant in the Royal Rumble Match. Featured an interview with Shawn Michaels on the Free For All saying he would win the 1996 Royal Rumble.
A clip is shown of Sunny in a bathtub doing the usual "viewer discretion is advised"
Vince McMahon, Dusty Rhodes and Jim Ross are your hosts for The 1996 Royal Rumble. McMahon says that this is the beginning of the Road to WrestleMania. They talk about the Royal Rumble Match itself with Hendrix predicting Diesel or Razor Ramon the winner of the 1996 Royal Rumble and McMahon picking The Undertaker, Razor Ramon or Shawn Michaels.
Match 1: WWF Intercontinental Championship Match Goldust w/Marlena vs Jushin Thunder Liger What better way to kick off the 1996 Royal Rumble with the Intercontinental Title on the Line as Goldust battles Jushin Thunder Liger. Liger starts off the match by locking up with Goldust and using an arm-drag taking Goldust down. Liger sends Goldust over the top rope by hitting a dropkick but it's not the Royal Rumble Match, maybe Liger is showing Goldust a prime example of what will happen at the Royal Rumble. Liger goes to the top rope and hits a diving cross body taking Goldust down to the mat. Liger tosses Goldust in the ring where he gains momentum but Goldust is able to battle back and controls the pace of the matchup by nailing a big clothesline taking down Liger. Goldust continues the momentum going and just seemingly toys with Liger by playing mind games but Goldust's momentum stops with Liger kicking Goldust in the face after Goldust came off the top rope. Liger starts to make a comeback in this contest and almost gets the win by hitting a Tornado DDT off the top rope but Goldust is able to kick out. Liger heads to the top rope again and heads for a cross body and connects with it but the Champion is still able to kick out and frustration is setting in on Liger. Liger picks up Goldust and sets up for a powerbomb but Goldust is able to backdrop out of it. Goldust runs off the ropes and hits a bulldog but Liger is able to kick out. Liger fights back and eventually puts Goldust away with a modified tiger driver on Goldust but Goldust is able to kick out. Liger then sets Goldust into the ropes but Goldust comes at Liger with a vicious clothesline and that was very vicious. Goldust sets up for the curtain call but Liger reverses it into a German Suplex on Goldust but it only gets 2. Liger sets up for the Liger Bomb but Goldust fights out of it and goes for the Curtain Call, it could be coming up. Nope, Liger counters it and Liger gets the Liger Bomb in on Goldust. Liger sets up for the cover but Marlena is distracted by the referee and look at this she just unzipped her blouse to the referee and Liger tries to see what's going on but Goldust comes in from behind and hits a clothesline to the back and Goldust takes him out with the Curtain Call to get the victory with a little bit of help from Marlena. Goldust victorius and successfully retaining his Intercontinental Championship but will he be victorious later on in the show when he wins the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match?. Winner and Still Intercontinental Champion: Goldust
Todd Pettengill interviews Tatanka about his match against Skip in where the winner will qualify in the Royal Rumble Match. Tatanka says that he's been in these rumbles before and everytime he's come this close on one occasion to winning them all, but tonight, if he does win against Skip, then he guarantees that 1996 will be the year of Tatanka. Tatanka says that if he makes it to the Royal Rumble Match, then he plans on going the distance.
Match 2: Royal Rumble Qualifying Match Tatanka vs Skip w/Sunny Ever since 1993. Tatanka's been in every Royal Rumble Match but this could be his fourth if he beats Skip. Skip and Tatanka put on a great match but not enough to excite the crowd any further as the fans are behind Tatanka in this match. Skip gets some momentum in this match by taking it to the veteran Tatanka. But Tatanka is able to fight back and Skip attempts to get the win by hitting an elbow drop off the top rope but Tatanka rolls out of the way and nails Skip with the end of the trail to get the win and advance to the 1996 Royal Rumble Match. And the question is can Tatanka win his first Royal Rumble Match and headline WrestleMania 12?. Winner: Tatanka
A promo is shown of The Steiner Brothers vs Public Enemy with Public Enemy making their debut at Survivor Series and destroying every team in the World Wrestling Federation and them defeating The Steiners at Season's Beatings with The Steiners regaining the WWF Tag Team Titles on New Year's Night on Monday Night RAW against Owen Hart and The British Bulldog. But Public Enemy spoiled the celebration and tonight at the Royal Rumble will The Public Enemy become the WWF Tag Team Champions?.
Match 3: WWF Tag Team Championship Match Public Enemy vs Steiner Brothers The Tag Team Titles are on the line as The Public Enemy challenge The Steiner Brothers for the Tag Team Belts. And this should be a physical intense contest, The match starts off with Grunge and Rick locking each other up in the center of the ring with Grunge throwing Rick down to the mat but Rick is able to fight back and light Grunge up with punches and rams Grunge in the corner. Rick runs off the ropes and hits Grunge with a big clothesline taking Grunge down to the mat. Rick tags in Scott and what are these two going to do to Grunge, are they going for a double suplex here?. Yes, Double Suplex by The Steiner Brothers on Grunge. Scott takes it to Grunge as well but a kick to the back by Rocco gives Public Enemy the momentum. Public Enemy do a pretty good job of wearing down Scott to the mat. Scott gets taken down for the most part of the matchup. Scott eventually battles back by taking down Rocco with a Belly to Belly Suplex and makes the hot tag to Rick who comes in a house of fire. Rick takes down both Rocco and Grunge with a double clothesline. The Steiners take control back in this match but the referee gets knocked out accidentally by Rocco as Rocco went to hit Scott with a Clothesline and Grunge grabs a steel chair for Rocco to use but Rick tackles Grunge to the mat but that doesn't stop Rocco to nail Scott Steiner with the steel chair. Rick then surprises Rocco with a dropkick dropkicking the chair right in Rocco's face. Rick tosses Grunge out of the ring with a clothesline and Rocco press slams Rick over the top rope but the referee awakes with Scott hitting Rocco with a belly to belly suplex and Grunge enters the ring and tackles Steiner with a flying shoulder block, and this match is just crazy. Rick gets in the ring and sends Grunge over the top rope with a back drop and Rick picks up Rocco, there's no way they will lift Rocco up for this. Steiner heads to the top rope and hits a top-rope bulldog on Rocco to get the victory and The Steiners have retained their WWF Tag Team Titles at The Royal Rumble, but you can bet this rivalry between The Steiners and Public Enemy are not over by a long shot infact these four men will be participating in the Royal Rumble Match. Will one of these four go to WrestleMania 12. Winners and Still Tag Team Champions: The Steiner Brothers
A promo is shown of Bret Hart vs Vader for the WWF Championship with Bret Hart's problems with Camp Cornette throughout the summer of 1995 and Vader making his debut and defeating Razor Ramon for the WWF Championship at Survivor Series and Christmas Chaos and it goes to the same night with Bret Hart defeating The British Bulldog in the finals to gain a shot at the WWF Championship at the 1996 Royal Rumble, features up with Vader attacking Stu Hart in the Hart Family House revealing it to be a set up with Owen Hart and The British Bulldog recording the video of Vader attacking Stu Hart, but tonight will the Hitman get his redemption over Vader?.
Todd Pettengill interviews Bret Hart for his championship match against Vader and asks if Bret is confident going into this match as a underdog. Bret says that he's been an underdog all of his life but tonight is the big test of his life because Vader is a big man and Vader crossed the line dearly when Vader put his hands on his father and it's something Vader should not have done if Vader wanted to come at Bret like a man that night, then he should've just attacked him and put him out of the match but Vader wanted to go the easy route and Vader is going to find that out the hard way. Bret says that winning the WWF Championship means everything to him but if he has to beat Vader so bad to get that belt or even if he beats Vader so bad that he gets disqualified then so be it, but Vader will find out why he is the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be.
Dok Hendrix interviews Vader and Jim Cornette about the comments Bret Hart made. Cornette is the first to talk saying that Bret signed his own death warrant tonight because not only he has to face Vader tonight at the Royal Rumble but he's eating his own words, ever since Vader came to the WWF, he's destroyed everyone and everybody, and at Survivor Series, he proved that to Razor Ramon and tonight at the Royal Rumble, he's going to destroy The Hitman just like he destroyed Razor Ramon at Survivor Series and no matter what happens. Bret will no longer ask or receive a WWF Championship Match because the only way he leaves Fresno is in an ambulance when Vader gets through with him and speaking of California, Vader doesn't care who wins the Royal Rumble because at WrestleMania 12. Vader will crush the winner and he doesn't care if it's The Undertaker. Ahmed Johnson. Diesel. Shawn Michaels or Razor Ramon, the fact remains that Vader will carry 1996 into the New Generation Era. Vader then speaks and says that tonight, Bret's going to know what it feels like to be his, and there will be no mother or father here to save him because they're going to be watching on TV watching what Vader does to Bret Hart and after he destroys Bret Hart, whoever is winning the Royal Rumble will step up to the Mastadon at WrestleMania and it will be Vader Time.
Match 4: WWF Championship Match Bret Hart vs Vader w/Jim Cornette These fans in Fresno have been waiting to see this championship match between Bret Hart and Vader. Bret doesn't waste no time going right for the champion after The Champ's entrance as he strikes him with punch after punch. And the bell has rung, the WWF Championship is on the line between Bret Hart and Vader. Bret begins to come right at Vader with punches and headbutts. Bret whips Vader into the ropes and goes for a back body drop but Vader kicks him in the face and goes for a clothesline but Bret hits a dropkick and that hardly even fazes Vader and Bret knocks Vader over the top rope with a clothesline and Bret runs off the ropes and hits a pescado taking the WWF Champion down to the outside. Bret is more than focused and fired up to become the WWF Champion. Cornette takes a shot at Bret but Bret sees him and Bret gives him a right hand for his troubles and Vader charges at Bret again but Bret drags Vader right into the steel steps. Bret is totally taking control of the Mastadon here in this Championship Match. Bret gets on the apron and goes for a double axe handle but Vader catches Bret and spears him hard into the ringpost. Vader then grabs Bret and hits a short-arm clothesline and then tosses him back in the ring. Vader enters the ring and picks up Bret hitting a modified version of a chokeslam on the challenger. Vader goes for the cover but Bret is able to kick out. Vader continues to keep up the momentum by just punching away at The Hitman. Vader whips Bret into the buckle and hits 2 running splashes into the corner and knocks him down with a clothesline followed up by a leg drop. Vader goes for the cover but Bret is able to kick out. Vader continues to keep up the momentum in this contest by press slamming Bret into the ropes using a modified stungun on Bret. Bret suddenly makes a comeback and punches away at Vader and runs off the ropes but Vader hits a body splash on Bret. Vader can you believe this is taking it to Bret. Cornette is just loving the destruction Vader is handing to Bret Hart. Vader then screams at Bret getting into his face saying "Your father raised a no good bastard like you". Vader begins to slap him around but Bret is able to fight back defiantly and takes Vader's head into the buckle many times. Bret begins to rip the protective mask of Vader and Bret wants to bust Vader up so bad. And he follows through on his promise, what Vader just said to Bret only lit a fire in Bret so bad. Bret begins to punch at Vader and Bret runs off the ropes nailing a clothesline taking down Vader and Vader's been busted up as he's been unmasked. Bret Hart can feel it here. Bret then begins to go for the legs of Vader and that's a good strategy take down the legs late in this contest. Bret uses a figure-four leg lock but Vader reaches the ropes in time. Bret then goes for the legs again but Vader throws him off and Vader kicks Bret in the gut going for a running powerslam in which he connects with it. Vader sets up for the cover but Bret is able to kick out. Vader runs off the ropes and sets up for the big splash but Bret gets out of the way and goes to the top rope and he hits a missile dropkick on the Champion. Bret goes for the cover but Vader is able to kick out of this match. Bret continues to go for the protective cut of Vader busting him up pretty bad. Vader gets back up only for Bret to knock him down with a side russian leg sweep on the Champion. Bret goes for the cover but Vader is able to kick out, and what a back and forth matchup here. Bret runs into the ropes only for Vader to kick him in the gut and goes for a powerbomb but Bret reverses it into a hurracarana rollup, Bret goes for the cover but Vader is able to kick out. Vader finally gets Bret down to the mat hitting a powerbomb on the Champion, this is the opportunity Vader could get here as he goes for the cover but Bret is able to kick out. Vader then runs off the ropes going for a clothesline but Bret reverses it into a back body drop sending Vader over the top rope to the floor. What a Championship Match this has been between these two but Vader lands on the apron and Vader grabs Bret and rakes the eyes and look at this Vader is heading to the top rope can you believe this. Vader hits a diving cross body on the WWF Champion, that's unreal. Vader goes for the cover but Bret only gets a 2 count, this has been a physically intense WWF Championship Match, what a contest this has been between these two. Bret and Vader these two men begin to exchange blows. Vader shoves Bret into the ropes and goes for a back body drop but wait Bret has Vader hooked up can he go for a piledriver on the WWF Champion and Bret hits the piledriver on Vader. Bret then signals for the sharpshooter, can he lock it in?. Bret's got it locked in on Vader but wait a minute the referee is distracted by Jim Cornette and wait a minute who the heck is dragging Cornette out of the apron, it's STU HART!. STU HART just dragged Cornette out of the apron. Cornette yells at Stu telling him he shouldn't be here, then Stu grabs Cornette and takes him down with a right hand and Vader just knocked Bret down and Vader sets up for the Vader Bomb but he sees Stu Hart. Vader then leaves the ring and sees Stu and tosses him in the ring, ohhh no what is Vader going to do, the referee tries to stop Vader from doing any harm to Stu Hart but Vader ain't listening to the referee but wait Bret is back up and as the referee tries to get Stu out of the ring. Bret picks up Cornette's tennis racket Cornette dropped in the ring as he was pulled by Stu Hart and Bret whacks Vader in the head with it without the referee's knowledge and Bret can he go for the sharpshooter one more time, he's got it. It's the Sharpshooter. Bret has that hold locked in for a minute and Vader tries tapping out but look at this Vader just gave Bret the middle finger and Bret is still squeezing it on and VADER TAPS!. VADER TAPS!. VADER TAPS!. WE HAVE A NEW WWF CHAMPION!. Bret Hart has won back the World Wrestling Federation Championship for the third time, Bret collapses after releasing out of the sharpshooter and comes to his senses in 30 seconds as the referee hands him the belt and Bret cannot believe it, he has not only broke Vader's reign as WWF Champion, but he ended the undefeated streak of Vader by making him submit. Stu gets in the ring and he hugs his son for a job well done, Bret Hart is officially the World Wrestling Federation Champion for the third time in his career. And 1996 has seemed to get off to a great start by Bret Hart as he has won the WWF Championship, but who will face Bret Hart at WrestleMania 12 for the WWF Championship is the question?. Winner and New WWF Champion: Bret Hart
A vignette is shown of a man with half his ear calling himself Mankind talking about normal and telling people to have a happy new year and have a nice day.

Hunter Hearst Helmsley. Terry Funk and The Undertaker, then we go backstage to Fatu getting ready to go for the Royal Rumble, then suddenly he's attacked by someone, ohhh it's not someone IT'S VADER!. Vader has attacked Fatu. Vader very upset about losing the WWF Championship just now has taken it out on Fatu. Vader grabs Fatu and tosses him hard into the wall. He then picks up Fatu and powerbombs him onto a stack of wooden palets. Vader then grabs Fatu's ball he dropped and picks it up himself, ohhh no could this mean is Vader going into the Royal Rumble Match?.
