My apologies for such a tardy review. I’m finally a college graduate and I’ll have some free time on my hands for a while (hopefully not too long!). So onto booking ICW and reviewing other shows!
I find it a bit odd that you have both a Cruiserweight Division and X-Division. Seems a bit…redundant, no?
Tommy Dreamer vs. Chris Jericho I find it odd you referred to Jericho as a “midcarder.” Short match with Dreamer, surprisingly, nearly squashing Jericho. I’m not sure it’s entirely believable that a). Dreamer would beat Jericho so quickly and so convincingly and b). the fans would have no reaction to Dreamer beating Jericho or the fans not having ANY reaction to Dreamer at all. Dreamer is probably the most beloved figure in ECW history, someone fans always respond well to while Jericho is also a major fan favorite.
Pretty decent promo from Logan…
Rey Mysterio vs. Jay Lethal Fast paced match. Better than the first; in fact, this is the type of match that should have opened the show.
Bobby Roode vs. Wade Barrett Short match, could’ve been much better if it was given more time. That’s one thing you’ll learn about writing wrestling matches. There’s a certain psychology that goes into matches. Good/great matches have emotion behind them, it has a great flow. You still need to get that down.
The Angle promo was very…un-Angle like. You seem to be going for an edgy type of show where wrestlers and commentators curse. It’s an interesting concept for an indy type roster (like WCWA) but you’re using a lot of established stars who have never really had this “edgy” attitude.
Paul London vs. Evan Bourne vs. Brian Kendrick Fun match, again I’m not quite sure what the purpose is of having both a Cruiserweight and X-Division but it’s an interesting concept.
NXT? Nice.
Kurt Angle vs. Logan Fun main event. Interesting that Kurt has an association with Ryback and CM Punk, that’s an unlikely trio. This was a hard hitting main event, which is what the main event should be.
You have some promise. You just need a better sense of booking and psychology, which only comes with the more you book and the more you watch wrestling.

I would like to say some things, The 2 Cruiserweight and X-Divisions is something I'm going to end up working on in the long run, so yeah, redundant, but not forever. The Dreamer match wasn't the best, but I have plans for him. I always thought Kurt was edgy, maybe not as edgy as shown in my promo, but not far away. I just may not have been paying attention haha. Again, as said in the Dreamer match, I have a plan in-store for Roode, if you notice the pattern or the promo you may find it, as it is hidden in there... Yeah, Kurt, Punk, Ryback and Kendrick are a group, stable against RHCW called Ultimatum, established on the second ever Saturday Showdown. I thank you for advice, as I hope this clears things up, and next show I will try to incorporate what you said into it. Again, thanks for reviewing!!

With your commentators, make sure you introduce them by name at least once. The first names is fine for abbreviation, but make sure you use their full names at least once. It plugs in nicely into the opening commentary. "We're here in Insert City Here, in the Insert Arena Here, I am Play by Play commentator joined by color commentator and whatever needs introduced". It may seem like a kind of weird go to, but you're establishing your commentators as personalities and you're telling the viewer who they are. With just the names, that's all we, the viewer, have for them from the start. As such, I'm imagining Jack is Shawn's older brother Jack from Boy Meets World.
The Dreamer/Jericho match was okay for an opener. It builds Dreamer nicely, I suppose.
As fast paced, exciting, and as good of a match as it was, I think Mysterio and Lethal would've been better suited as the opener than Dreamer/Jericho. Cruiserweights are always a good opener because they're a fast and highspot filled match, and usually not a long match.
I would've liked to see Barrett and Roode go a little bit longer, with a little bit more dominance from Barrett if Roode is going over by cheating. The finish was fine, it just came WAY too quickly in the match. Barrett would've finished Roode if he would've hit his finish, Roode knew it so he cheated to win himself.. That's fine, but for these guys to be going to desperation measures, they've got to have tried at least a few things on each other to get to this point.
I agree with ant that having two junior heavyweight level titles is pretty redundant. Especially as wrestlers get consistently smaller, a guy like Kurt Angle not being much larger than the typical cruiserweight wrestler. It's a problem even I've had, with the Junior Heavyweight title being kind of redundant when like 3 guys on my roster are too heavy for it. There's a reason WWE doesn't have a cruiserweight title any more.. Because the days of the plodding 400 pound wrestler being the top guy is done.
I like the stipulation of the barbed wire cage match, because it goes back to the days of W*ING. But the barbed wire cage match isn't an escape cage match because it'd be almost impossible to escape through a cage lined with barbed wire. IWA-MS had a big angle based on this, with Freakshow and Insane Lane battering Ian Rotten and Drake Younger in a barbed wire cage, and because of the barbed wire no one could climb the cage to get in.
I do agree with ant that your angles are fine.. It's just the in ring product that needs more fine tuned. what happens between the ropes, to get from point a to point b. Watch matches. Watch how the matches start. The opening sequences can often set the entire tone for the match, if it's going to be a slow methodical match they're going to feel each other out, working a specific body part and one wrestler slowly taking advantage. If it's something like a cruiserweight match, they're going to go right into the lucha spots from the opening sequence. If you can get the opening sequences down, then getting in the rest of the match should flow because by the time you've got a good opening sequence, you're already 2 or 3 paragraphs into the match and you have a specific tone and psychology set for the match

Finally getting round to writing a couple of reviews, so apologies if it seems like I've taken an absolute age to get round to this!
- Glad to see you moved over to hosting them on your own site, already looks a lot more professional than it did posting them here on Wfigs. Still a few grammatical errors which do stick out, and take away from the show, so I'd work on those.
- Like ICW said, seems strange seeing Jericho booked as a 'mid-carder'. I'm also not sure if I like the commentary referring to them as such - I think it works better if commentary is written in kayfabe and leaves out any of the smarky in-jokes.
- An okay opener, seemed a little bit short to me even as far as an opener goes. I hope that the Dreamer getting no reaction thing is building towards a storyline, so I'll wait a few shows to see what happens before I comment on it properly.
- I do enjoy the angle with the owner of the company taking it upon himself to take on Angle. I'm guessing he's about to get horsed in the main event, but it was a good promo that made me interested in the feud (as well as bringing me up to speed).
- The Rey/Lethal match was good, felt like the type of X-Division match you would see on iMPACT, which is what I think you were going for.
- Barrett vs Roode should be good, not sure about the promo - I don't know if Roode would really call the crowd "ungrateful bitches."
- The match seemed really short, but for what it was I enjoyed it, though I would have liked to see it go on a bit longer.
- The Angle promo had the intensity, but like ICW said, it isn't really Angle to be cursing as much.
- The triple threat cruiser match really stepped things up, the best match on the show so far. Good length, and a really interesting finish with the Vault 450.
- I enjoyed the main event - it seemed strange putting Kurt Angle into a barbed wire cage match, but I think you made it work. Logan put up more of a fight than I thought, but again, I think you made it work well. The Ryback/Punk/Angle stable seems a good idea, and I get the feeling that Logan and Angle aren't done.
There's definitely promise here, and you have some decent booking ideas. I appreciate you trying to put your own spin on characters, but it's maybe worth thinking about how Kurt Angle would speak in a promo for example, and for matches like Barrett vs Roode, if you don't want to flesh them out, maybe it would have worked better as a promo.
