Weather you be an xbox fanboy or a ps4 c*nt, we all have preferences on which console is the best. Personally im a nintendo/pc guy, but i have all 4 gaming rigs of the 7th gen (Xbox 360, ps3, wii, pc) and pc beats them followed by wii followed by xbox and last is ps4. I wanna know what are you most looking foward to in the 8th gen

The Wii U is the first US console released that I haven't owned yet. Not impressed at all by it or the game lineup. The reveals for the XB1 and PS4 have left me very underwhelmed as well. I play some games on my PC, but not many, as I am not a fan of the keyboard/mouse control scheme for certain game types. Basically, I am less excited about games than I have ever been at any point in my life, and that sucks. I feel disappointed because I should be very excited with a new generation on the way.

Xbox. It's what I play on this generation, and Xbox Live is pretty much perfect the way it is now. With my schedule, I don't have a ton of time to game like I used to, so as long as XBL remains intact and I can still talk to all my friends I see no reason to change.

My two favourite companies out there are Quantic Dream and Naughty Dog. Haven't really looked into any next gen stuff, but it will 100% be the PS4 I am buying.

Xbox One.
While I wasn't all that impressed by what I saw. I do, however, love games like Halo, Fable, Gears. Also, LIVE is a great service.

The PC craze is annoying as all get up. PC has its flaws and some serious ones at that. I'm leaning towards PS4 because I already have a cable box.

If it's true that you can't play used games on the Xbox One, I may go with PS4. That's a huge deal breaker for me, as I can't always afford $60-70 for a game, so I wait till they show up used for less money.

Delicate and expensive. Not to mention it isnt some some holy land of cutting edge technology as people make it out to be. Console gaming has tons of innovations as well. I disagree. you can build a decent gaming PC that will run games at true 1080p at 60fps for about the same cost as the next gen consoles will cost you in the beginning. consoles end up being much more expensive because for pc , you don't have to pay $60-70 per game because of steam sales and other gaming digital distribution deals such as green man gaming. delicate? in what way? the idea of having to constantly upgrade your PC to play games is false. if you build yourself a decent rig you will be able to play games sufficiently at high settings for about the same time or longer than a console generation. only difference is, PC gamers don't have to shell out huge amounts of money for new hardware each generation. we can just replace certain parts gradually if needed. consoles? what about the red ring of death? you had to send the Whole Unit to get it repaired or u had to buy an entire new Xbox. if anything, consoles are more delicate because if one thing goes wrong you can't just replace that broken part yourself you have to get a whole new unit. who said consoles don't have innovations? of course it does. but you can not deny in terms of performance and visuals, consoles are playing catch up. does PC gaming have its flaws? of course. there are a ton of console exclusive games I would love to play on the PC but I can't so I have to buy a console. but if I have a choice I will go with the PC version because i don't have to tap dance around companies who want to dictate my gaming experience by preventing me to play certain games unless I pay a fee or shoving dlc after dlc in my face. console gamers' main excuse against PC gaming has always been along the lines of "I just want to be able to play my games without hassle" but unfortunately that argument seems to go in the favor of PC gaming now.

Yeah you can build one and all that noise and PC's are generally more delicate than consoles in general. And more expensive. My RRoD repairs were free and my PS3 never had an issue or any other console ever. I buy most games used so I never spend much on games.
I'm not ignorant on PC's I have a pretty powerful one for video editing that probably could run games as well as any gaming PC but I guess graphics and sh*t aren't that big of a deal for me

I've always been a Playstation man, all my friends have Playstations, and nothing I've seen has made me consider changing that.

But they are. It's a PC and if they run like 800 bucks that is a lot more expensive

haven't decided between the ps4 or xbox, but i'm only majorly interested in the indie game titles that for the most part will be available on both.
trw, i suggest checking some indie games out if you haven't, and you can hook your xbox controller up to your pc too.

I play a fair amount of indie games on 360 and PS3, though I am sure I have missed some. I have a 360 controller for my PC, and use it for emulators and other games, but a lot of games don't seem to support it that are PC only.

I'm gonna wait until E3, supposedly Microsoft is going to "get it right" with their Xbox One reveal. I'm just interested in playing games and not all these useless bells and whistles. I want to stick with Xbox but if they fail to deliver I'm gonna have to get some kind of video game system so I'll probably go back to PS.
