Hull and Crystal Palace might as well be down already as both just do not have very good squads. End of. I think Cardiff will comfortably stay up, though. Teams with better squads have gone down, teams with worse squads have stayed afloat. Cardiff's side isn't incredible either, one shock victory over Manchester City doesn't guarantee safety. We shall see though, Fulham will be down and around there too, I reckon! Last nights MNF was dreadful, from Jamie Carragher's muffled noises too the awful game of football. Look forward to Manchester City on Saturday, hopefully they make a few mistakes after their defeat against Cardiff! Super Sunday looks cracking though!

Since he signed I have yet to see City play well without Kompany. They need him so much. Hope hes still out when we travel to them on the 22nd, he should be just about.

Feel so sorry for our fans who literally travel in their thousands every week to be treated to such utter drivel. Cannot believe players like Ji and David Vaughan get games week in week out, got a feeling this relationship with Di Canio isn't going to work out but won't stop me supporting him. Pleased for Fletcher who really was the only positive yesterday with an absolute beast of a header!
Manchester City were awful earlier, fair play to Hull for going for it. City won't get away with it in the big games against their title challengers so plenty of room for improvements.

De Gea, Welbeck, Ferdinand, Hernandez and Evra go home. The rest should be locked in the dressing room and shouted at for a few hours.
What's annoying is that Liverpool weren't even good after the first 30 minutes. If we weren't sh*te today we could've easily beaten them - all they were was functional. Wanted to get at least 5 points from those 3 games so to only get 4 is disappointing. Hopefully we thrash Palace and get something at the Etihad - 6 points from those 2 would make up for today, but I wouldn't expect more than a draw from the Etihad really, even if City look poor. Knew this start wasn't going to be easy though, and as long as we have 7 points after the City game we aren't desperate, but we will have to make the run of games after that count for a lot.
At the very least I don't think we should be that bad again all season. A good team would've got 2 or 3 from us today. Fair play to the scousers though, they got an early goal and defended it for what is a good win for them.

United were awful today. Liverpool didn't have to be that good to beat them.
Looking forward to the North London derby.

Moyes said we played well minus the goal - I'm behind you 100% David but I have no idea what game you were watching.

Been so impressed with Olivier Giroud this season, thought he'd just be another Marouane Chamakh. Could be a bit of an un-sung hero if they are to get 4th as he is clearly not getting the same praises like Daniel Sturridge is.

Damn it i took Giroud out of my dream team and he scored today again! Concerns for United, i was well behind Moyes been appointed but they looked mediocre today, i certainly want him to be given more time and prove himself but i dont know how he said this was the best he had seen United this season. I guess managers see the finer details that the fans dont and thats why they are managers and we arent. Spurs were a huge dissapointment, all their foreign signings of carlos kickaballs proved you cant buy success. Wheres all the Arsenal fans now with their attacks on Wenger. Wenger is a brilliant business man and the board must absolutely love him due to his constant success without spending money. Have they won trophies lately nope....but give me champions league football rather than fa cups and league cups any day of the week.

Disappointing performance from us today, but in the long run things look promising. Eriksen looks like he'll create those chances for Soldado that he's not getting at the moment, and Lamela looks a good prospect too. Arsenal played us at the right time really.

That was the most disappointing 'Super Sunday' I've ever seen. Two rubbish games which promised so much. Nice to see the Premier League is churning out some real goal-fests this season...

Anyone else pissed off at how they've kinda changed the format of the EPL review show this season? I've watched it consistently here in Aus for 10+ years cause it gave me a proper recap of all the weekend's matches (Im usually out or in bed for work when the games are on live)
This season though they dedicate half the show to just one match and then squeeze the rest into the other half hour. They also show one match through some kind of action footage montage where you cant work out wtf is going on (like the UCL highlights show). The show was always a good watch but now it's just kinda frustrating

I'm not sure about the preview show as I never watch it, but in previous seasons the review/highlights show definitely slotted two matches into the first half-hour or so and then squeezed the rest in to the second half-hour (with the final match in the program being extended highlights like the first two matches). Now it's just one match for the first half-hour and then the rest squeezed in, and one of those matches is shown through some bullcrap action montage. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Pleased with the win. The first half we played really well, in the second it was backs to wall but it's pleasing how we can now grind out a result. Defensively we were solid. Utd didn't have to many good chances, only one I can remember was the RVP one at the end. 3 wins, 3 clean sheets. Couldn't have asked for a better start. Hopefully the win gives the players a massive psychological boost.

Not every game can be 4-3. We're only 3 weeks into the bloody season.... Didn't say I expected that, but there have been so many horrendous matches already. Five 1-0's and a 0-0 out of nine games at the weekend was a joke, and the weekend before wasn't much better. Might as well do this again, now every team as there squads complete. 1. Chelsea 2. Manchester City 3. Manchester United 4. Arsenal 5. Tottenham Hotspur 6. Liverpool 7. Everton 8. Southampton 9. West Ham United 10. Norwich City 11. Fulham 12. Swansea City 13. West Bromwich Albion 14. Newcastle United 15. Aston Villa 16. Cardiff City 17. Stoke City 18. Sunderland 19. Crystal Palace 20. Hull City
