With the release of the warrior and Austin Rumblers it got me thinking. I'm not really into Rumblers at all(unless they made a Bret Rumbler) Even legends but what if they scraped the Rumblers and started making Hasbro style figures. Imagine current guys like Ziggler,Punk in Hasbro foam! They would be cheap to make and kids would dig em Plus collectors like my self would want them! Then they could later make Flashbacks like this. What do ya think?

I think Mattel considers their power slammers line as Hasbros.

As a kid, I didn't like Hasbros. Now I do and would buy a Mattel version. But I think MDT already gave their one word response to someone else: "No"

MDT has already said no....
The problem that people dont seem to understand is they remember the Jakks/LJN crossover but they dont realize that Jakks and LJN were founded by the same person so there was a crossover thing there. Things like Mattel, Hasbro, Toybiz whatever...none of them have any sort of cross over to be able to make figures.

Hasbro and Mattel are big time rivals, so the chances of this happening are the same as the chances of me being a football playing king... in space.

I do believe they said before "absolutely no."

If they took the Rumblers look and made them the same size as WWF Hasbros made out of the same hard plastic as Hasbros.. for like 5-7 bucks. I would buy the hell out of them.

The closest we'll get is the Rampage Rumblers, which I love.

I hate rumblers but I don't miss those old hasbros. These things were really solid, I remember attacking my brother with those things and throwing them at ppl lol.

I would absolutely collect them. I loved collecting hasbro's as a kid. It would be nice to have a cheaper alternative series to collect, I love elites but living in Australia the average cost of an elite is around $40 as stores don't stock them at all.

If somehow Hell froze over and we got a line in scale with the old Hasbros, I kinda wish they would fill the hole in the line. Diesel in particular

Flex Force are essentially the same things as Hasbro, at the same scale as the rest of Mattel figures.
How many times a day do people bitch about Flex Force?

Flex Force are essentially the same things as Hasbro, at the same scale as the rest of Mattel figures. How many times a day do people bitch about Flex Force? That's the problem. "We" dont want Hasbro like figures in the scale of Mattel figures. We want Hasbro like figures in the scale of Hasbro figures. Its not a "oh these would be cool to play with" scenario, its a "These would be a great nostalgic figure" scenario.

and what sense does that make? a completely different scale that would require 100% new parts (where as Flex Force can reuse some parts), to appeal to a niche demographic that already complains about Flex Force and their action features? Instead, they can produce figures with action figures, which is a primary appeal of Hasbro.. appeal to kids who may have basics or elites.. and get the collector market who aren't self absorbed "I ONLY LIKE BASICS AND ELITES!!".
Nostalgia only goes a very small distance. Even nostalgia lines like the new TMNT Classics are modernized with more points of articulation and better weapons. The fact is, it's not 1991 any more.
