I'm so gutted too but we all like a regenaration  i for one wouldnt mind rupert grint really but i do have others i would like to see in the role. Marc Warren (Hustle and Mad Dogs) Andrew Scott (Sherlock) James Buckley (Inbeweenters) But i do think the doctor should be played always by a male role i just think a female doctor would'nt work. |

This bums me out because I was just getting into Doctor Who and I was loving Matt Smith. Well at least Jenna-Louise Coleman will be back, I feel I love with her in the first episode and haven't looked back! But Smith will be missed however I'm excited to see who the new doctor will be!

Not a Doctor Who guy, but I have always felt Richard Ayoade would make a good one. Probably too busy making hit indie comedies nowadays though.

Wish Simon Pegg would be given the helm. He's brilliant. Wouldn't be the first time someone was used twice in different roles.
