WWF Monday Night RAW Excited for this show, seems like a pretty big episode. Dare I say SUPER episode? Hehe. Glad to see Shawn Michaels versus Owen Hart confirmed for In Your House, and Bulldog against Diesel is one hell of a way to start the show. The DQ finish seems like the right call, I liked Diesel being able to fight off Camp Cornette after the match. Cornette’s mad at Yokozuna, I don’t see him sticking around for too much longer. He’s not really needed for the stable with Vader around now anyway. Tensions running high between Camp Cornette backstage was cool, I imagine we’ll be getting Yokozuna versus Vader out of this. I’m a little confused by the Razor segment from last week being in here, but I assume it’s just a replay. I enjoyed the Paul Bearer segment, and how terrified Bearer was of the masked man. Undertaker and Mankind at WrestleMania could be awesome, I hope that’s the direction you’re going with this. Really enjoying this storyline so far. Good debut for Vader with the squash victory of Bob Holly. I’m looking forward to finding out the Interim President next week and how they’ll deal with Vader. Yokozuna and Bulldog teaming up next week leads me to believe this is where Cornette will dump Yokozuna. Finally, a fantastic main event with Sean Waltman retaining the Intercontinental Championship over Razor, with some help from Goldust. Nice to see the Goldust/Razor feud officially starting. Pretty good show tonight, lived up to the hype.
WWF Superstars Good start to the show with Jake Roberts getting the win in his return, and establishing his new gimmick. I had a feeling he’d somehow get involved in Undertaker/Mankind, but it’s probably for the best he didn’t. Bulldog’s promo furthers my suspicions that Monday is the last night for Yokozuna in Camp Cornette. Nice debut from Bradshaw over Hakushi, I like the name change just because it’s different. The post-match attack was a good idea to establish him and Uncle Zebekiah as heels. Ha, neat little return from the Bushwackers. Jarrett and Douglas going over was the obvious move, but what else can you do. Glad to see Jarrett and Douglas defending the titles against the Smoking Gunns confirmed for In Your House, I feel like the Gunns are coming into Mania as the champs. I don’t know who else could challenge Jarrett and Douglas for the titles. Decent victory for Helmsley, and debut for his valet, but I hope he moves into another feud soon instead of just floating around during the Mania season. Not a bad win for Ahmed Johnson, either. Finally, Shawn Michaels going over Kama in the main event was expected, but it gives Michaels some momentum heading into In Your House. Owen’s attack after the match, followed by knocking Michaels out, was great. I’m quite excited for their match, just because I feel like it can go either way at this point. Overall, it was a pretty good week of television for the WWF heading into In Your House in a few weeks.

WWF Monday Night RAW - February 5, 1996 Stockton Civic Auditorium - Stockton, CA
Segment | Description | Timeline | 1 | The opening video package for WWF Monday Night RAW aired, before we cut to the Stockton Civic Auditorium, two weeks away from In Your House! Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcomed us to the show, as they talked about what they had in store for us tonight, as the WWF Champion Bret "Hitman" Hart will face his strangest challenge to date, the odd Waylon Mercy!; Plus, Henry O. Godwinn will introduce the World Wrestling Federation officially to his cousin, Phineas I. Godwinn, as the Godwinns will team up for the first time in the WWF to take on the mysterious Spiders. Plus, the interim President of the World Wrestling Federation will be revealed, as nobody knows who it is!; Plus, we will try to find out why Goldust cost Razor Ramon the WWF Intercontinental Championship last Monday night; But first, kicking things off the former WWF Tag Team Champions the Smoking Gunns will take on the dysfunctional pair of Camp Cornette members, Yokozuna and the British Bulldog! | 00:02 | 2 | The Smoking Gunns def. The British Bulldog and Yokozuna (w/James E. Cornette and Clarence Mason) [11:45 - exceeded one commercial break] [+00:02 for entrances] The former WWF Tag Team Champions were wanting their titles back, as the Smoking Gunns were motivated for their rematch with current WWF Tag Team Champions, "Double J" Jeff Jarrett and "Agent" Dean Douglas at In Your House in two weeks. Tonight however, they were in for a tough ride against the dysfunctional Yokozuna and British Bulldog, as James E. Cornette set up this match last week in an effort to repair the broken trust between Yokozuna and the British Bulldog. It began at the Royal Rumble with Yokozuna going at it with both the Bulldog and Cornette's new client in Camp Cornette, the man they call Vader, and continued last week when Yokozuna accidentally took out Bulldog with a corner splash. Yokozuna and Bulldog tonight however, worked well as a cohesive unit initially, as Bulldog and Yokozuna made frequent tags, and worked together in isolating and driving the wind out of Bart Gunn, the brother of Billy, who stood on the apron praying to get the tag to the fresh man. Bart was picked apart by Yokozuna and Bulldog, as Yokozuna soon had Bart in position for the Banzai Drop and went to the second rope - but that's when Bulldog tagged himself in, confusing Yokozuna mid-move! Yoko didn't do the Banzai, and instead got in Bulldog's face, Bulldog clearly wanting to take the victory for himself! Bulldog called Yokozuna dumb and slapped him, causing Yokozuna to turn around and drive Yokozuna into the mat with a heavy belly-to-back suplex! Yokozuna left the ring, as James E. Corentte yelled at Yokozuna, to which the Japanese sumo wrestler ignored, walking out on Camp Cornette! Billy meanwhile got the tag, and the Smoking Gunns teamed up well, picking up the win with the Gunslinger on Bulldog!
The crowd cheered for the Smoking Gunns, as they were ready for the WWF Tag Team Championships one more time, as meanwhile "Agent" Dean Douglas and "Double J" Jeff Jarrett were shown watching on a television monitor backstage, not looking impressed with Billy and Bart, their challengers. Meanwhile, James E. Cornette and Clarence Mason aided to the British Bulldog, as Cornette was irate with the actions of Yokozuna, who walked out on Camp Cornette tonight! | 00:15 | 3 | We cut to a shot of the "Bizarre One" Goldust, alongside Marlena in a dark golden area, Marlena stroking Goldust's platinum wig, as Vince McMahon commented on how Goldust cost Razor Ramon the WWF Intercontinental Championship last week, but nobody knows why. And that's why up next, Jim Ross would get an interview with the strangest couple in the World Wrestling Federation next! | 00:16 | 4 | An advertisement aired, promoting WWF In Your House, live on pay-per-view on Sunday, February 17, 1996. | 00:17 | - | Commercial Break | 00:20 | 5 | We returned to WWF Monday Night RAW, as Jim Ross was stood in the ring, reminding us about how last week Razor Ramon challenged his former best friend Sean Waltman to a No-Disqualification match, with the "Bad Guy"s final opportunity to challenge for the WWF Intercontinental Championship on the line - and he came close, until he was attacked by the "Bizarre One" Goldust, and how tonight he wanted to find out why he did it! The crowd booed, as the theme of Goldust hit, and Ross introduced his guests tonight for this interview. Goldust made his way to the ring to louder boos, as the "Bizarre One" was suited up in his golden robe and platinum wig once again, alongside the luscious valet, Marlena; whom we know little about, and what connection she has with this strange human being. The two approached the ring to boos, as Ross immediately started by asking Goldust simply, why he did what he did last week. Goldust cut Ross off by shushing him, Goldust grasping the microphone quite femininely. Goldust used his tongue and toyed with the microphone, as he talked about how time is a funny thing, how you don't know what you had until it's gone. In Razor Ramon's case, gold. Goldust talked about how he has followed the "Bad Guy" for a long time, and how the "Bad Guy" is the bad guy for a reason. Because Goldust admires him, he looks up to him...he inspires me. Goldust talks about how for the past two months, he has tried to deliver messages to Ramon, and every one of them failed to get to him, because he was so stubborn. Goldust talked about how Razor was so obsessed with gold, the WWF Intercontinental Champion, but why ignore the other type of gold? A different kind of gold...Goldust. Goldust said that he then decided to deliver a message personally to the "Bad Guy", and he did. So now, Goldust is the only type of gold that Razor can get - and it's all right here. The crowd booed, as Goldust rubbed himself, showing off flamboyance during those last few controversial statements. At that point, Razor Ramon darted to the ring, the "Bad Guy" tackling Goldust! Goldust was defenseless as Razor pounded into Goldust, ripping off his robe and wig, before Goldust bailed! The crowd booed, as Goldust and Marlena began to leave, Ramon left vicious and angry in the ring; as Goldust did not want any part of the "Bad Guy"! | 00:26 | 6 | Meanwhile, James E. Cornette, Clarence Mason and the British Bulldog were shown looking visibly stressed, especially after what happened earlier tonight with Yokozuna attacking Bulldog and walking out on Camp Cornette. Dok Hendrix then appeared, here to get a word from the Camp Cornette members on this, as Hendrix asked them about Yokozuna, to which Cornette immediately fired back about how that's such a hot topic right now, and rightfully so! Cornette told Hendrix that he hated that Yokozuna did what he did, he's been such a problem to Camp Cornette in the past couple of weeks, and that he won't have any more of it! Cornette told Yokozuna that he was done, that he ticked off the wrong guys, and that the biggest dummie in the world, Yokozuna would suffer for his actions! Bulldog then commented how he could have seriously hurt him last week, and then earlier tonight as well - a serious lawsuit on the 600-pound fatso's hands! Bulldog then told Yokozuna that this wasn't it however, that he would pay, and he would pay because on February 17th, he was calling him out, at In Your House to a match! And how Bulldog will prove that Yokozuna made the wrong decision, and he would wipe Yokozuna off the face of the World Wrestling Federation! | 00:28 | - | Commercial Break | 00:31 | 7 | The Godwinns (w/Hillbilly Jim) def. The Arachnoids [03:26] [+00:01 for the Godwinns' entrance; +00:01 for aftermath] Henry O. Godwinn brought his cousin, Phineas I. Godwinn over to the World Wrestling Federation several weeks ago, following an attack from the Bodydonnas, Skip and Zip on Saturday Morning Superstars; but this was Phineas' first appearance on Monday Night RAW, and the first time for the Godwinn cousins to team up together - and they did not come alone, as they were led out to the ring by the joyous legend, Hillbilly Jim! The trio square danced to the ring, as the fans in Stockton adored them, as the two Arachnoids didn't know what to do or how to react to the much larger countrymen! Henry pounded away at one of the Spiders, as Phineas went at it with the other, before both Godwinns united in a big double atomic drop for a Spider! The fans cheered, as Henry and Phineas put away the Spiders with a simultaneous Slop Drop for the win! During the match, Henry and Phineas alongside Hillbilly Jim talked about how both Godwinn cousins were finally in the World Wrestling Federation, and how as an uncle, he was so proud of his boys - and how these two country men will give a meaning to the phrase "don't mess with a country boy"! The Godwinns are coming to take on all comers, as they demonstrated tonight.
The crowd cheered, as Henry and Phineas' hands were raised as victors by their uncle, Hillbilly Jim, the Godwinns victorious in their tag team debut tonight on Monday Night RAW, defeating the Arachnoids! But that's when suddenly the Bodydonnas hit the ring, carrying slop buckets of their own! The crowd immediately began to boo, as Skip and Zip came out with buckets after their manager, Sunny was slopped and humiliated by the Godwinns two days ago on Superstars, Skip and Zip taking out all three Godwinns with buckets! The crowd booed, as the Bodydonnas celebrated, Sunny especially in the middle of them, as retribution was gained tonight by the fitness freaks, the Bodydonnas. | 00:36 | 8 | Vince McMahon soon reminded us of Shawn Michaels and Owen Hart's rivalry, taking us back to November 20, 1995 in a replay, where on an episode of RAW, the "Heartbreak Kid" fought the "King of Harts", leading to a sharp enzuigiri by the "King of Harts". Michaels was out of action with a career threatening head injury for two months before returning at the Royal Rumble several weeks ago, HBK wanting to fulfill his boyhood dream, and win the Rumble and go on to win the WWF Championship at WrestleMania - but it was not to be, as Owen was victorious, eliminating Michaels in the final minutes of the match. We were also shown Michaels provoking James E. Cornette two weeks ago on Saturday Morning Superstars to make Owen agree to a match with Michaels, putting his WrestleMania opportunity on the line at In Your House. But last Saturday, we saw Michaels defeat the "Supreme Fighting Machine" Kama successfully...but that's when Owen attacked, jumping HBK viciously and leaving him unconscious with another enuigiri. We then cut to a vignette from Owen Hart, who was stood in the dark, a single spotlight over his face. The "King of Harts" talked about how for many years he's been seen as inferior to his brothers, especially Bret, and how he's wanted nothing more than to be World Wrestling Federation Champion - and overshadow his stupid brother Bret, the "Hitman, whom he hates with a passion! Owen talks about how he wants nothing more than to win the WWF Championship on the biggest stage of them all, WrestleMania XII. But Shawn Michaels wants to take the attention from him now: he's jealous, because he almost took him out of the WWF! And he's sad that he didn't, because he deserves to be on the sidelines, to feel worthless! Hart talked about how he was in the condition of his life, and how he was more motivated than ever, and how he wants to desperately put an end to this stupid fairy tale that the "Heartbreak Kid" has after so many years of pushing his way past more deserving superstars...which is why on February 17th, at In Your House, their match for the shot at the World Wrestling Federation Championship...will be inside of a steel cage! Owen told Shawn that he was ready for Michaels' retirement match, because it was about time that somebody wiped HBK off the face of the World Wrestling Federation! Suddenly, the camera zoomed out and the lights lit up to show Owen in the middle of a steel cage inside of a ring, an empty arena overlooking Hart. | 00:39 | 9 | Vince McMahon moved on, hyping up what was still to come, as we are scheduled to find out the new interim President of the World Wrestling Federation; but also, Bret "Hitman" Hart will take on his strangest opponent to date, as the WWF Champion battles Waylon Mercy! At that moment however, "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel was shown walking into the building, as McMahon and Jerry Lawler speculated Diesel's arrival, as the new President, or what!? | 00:40 | - | Commercial Break | 00:43 | 10 | Todd Pettingill was shown stood in front of several television monitors in the WWF official media suite, as he welcomed us to the WWF In Your House report. Pettingill talked about how WWF In Your House was only under two weeks away, emanating from the Louisville Gardens in Louisville, Kentucky on February 18th, 1996. Pettingill talked about the prestige of the event, how it is the final pay-per-view stop on the road to WrestleMania XII, which takes place on March 31st, 1996 from Anaheim, California. Todd talked about the current line-up for In Your House, how as we just heard, the "King of Harts" Owen Hart will put his WrestleMania XII shot at the WWF Championship on the line, as he takes on the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels inside of a fifteen-foot high steel cage!; Plus, also announced earlier tonight, the 600 pound Yokozuna, the now-former member of Camp Cornette will take on his former partner, cornered by Yokozuna's former manager, James E. Cornette, the British Bulldog!; Not to mention also, the former champions, the Smoking Gunns will challenge the current WWF Tag Team Champions "Double J" Jeff Jarrett and "Agent" Dean Douglas, with the titles on the line, in a rematch from the Royal Rumble; and to be announced exclusively on the In Your House report tonight, the undefeated "Pearl River Powerhouse" Ahmed Johnson will take on the man that has made his mark on Johnson in the past, Waylon Mercy! He then fed into a video showing Ahmed Johnson, the "Pearl River Powerhouse" talking about how he's bent on destruction, he's full of rage, and how he's ready to kick some butt and justify injustices, talking about Waylon Mercy and his speaking in rhymes! Ahmed told Mercy that he was coming for him, and that Mercy better have his sights set on February 17th! We returned to Pettingill, who reminded us that In Your House was only two weeks away, before he signed off.
| 00:45 | 11 | We returned to Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler, who spoke out about how In Your House was only two weeks away, live on pay-per-view before talking about how before that, the World Wrestling Federation had one more stop to make next Monday, as six days away from In Your House, we are scheduled to see a gigantic main event, as the unlikely combination of the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and former Camp Cornette member Yokozuna will take on two members of James E. Cornette's illustrious consortium, the "King of Harts" Owen Hart and the British Bulldog, six days ahead of the four's business with one another!; Plus, the "Bizarre One" Goldust will go one-on-one with Savio Vega; the man they call Vader will unfortunately be in attendance; and the Undertaker will be present to call out the mystery man that attacked him at the Royal Rumble! All of that, plus more next Monday, at a special start time of 8/7 CT on the USA Network! | 00:46 | 12 | WWF Champion Bret "Hitman" Hart def. Waylon Mercy by disqualification [07:23] [+00:02 for entrances; +00:03 for aftermath] The "Hitman" was seen for the first time since the Royal Rumble on January 31st, as the World Wrestling Federation Champion was ready for action tonight on Monday Night RAW against the extremely strange and dangerous Waylon Mercy, Mercy as announced on the In Your House report, scheduled to take on the "Pearl River Powerhouse" Ahmed Johnson in singles action. But in the mean time, Mercy had a big cash prize ahead of him by the name of facing Bret "Hitman" Hart, the WWF Champion. Jerry Lawler continuously mimmicked the "Hitman" for calling himself the "Best There Is, the Best There Was, and the Best There Ever Will Be", and yet, Bret only managed to beat Diesel for the title at Survivor Series with a roll-up; he beat the British Bulldog the same way at In Your House in December; and he barely beat the Undertaker at the Royal Rumble, as well! Bret meanwhile traded blows with Waylon Mercy, as Mercy managed to get in a lot of offense, connecting with a bulldog, just to put away Bret for a two count. Once again, this continued, as the World Wrestling Federation Champion stuck in there, Mercy continuing to beat away at Bret, going for the gutwrench powerbomb, but that's when the "Hitman" fired back at dangerous Mercy, Bret Hart pounding away at Mercy and connecting with a big backbreaker, followed up with the diving elbow off of the second rope! Bret was ready, as he went for the Sharpshooter, locking it in, when suddenly "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel hit the ring, Diesel connecting with a big steel chair shot to the spine of the "Hitman"! Earl Hebner rang for the bell.
The crowd booed loudly, as the "Hitman" was left unconscious on the canvas, "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel then pounding away at Bret Hart, Diesel still upset about losing the World Wrestling Federation Championship to Bret Hart at the Survivor Series without ever receiving a rematch! The crowd booed Diesel loudly, as Diesel snatched the WWF Championship from the timekeeper, as Diesel also took a microphone. Diesel yelled that he was sick of waiting, that he was done with wanting to get his hands around Hart's stubby neck, about how he wanted to take back what was rightfully his, and he wanted the WWF Championship back around his waist! The crowd in Stockton booed louder and louder, as Diesel ranted more...when suddenly...
The theme of Mr Perfect hit, causing the crowd to cheer suddenly! Vince McMahon didn't know what was going on, as "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel looked on with a glare of surprise and distain! Mr Perfect then emerged onto the aisleway, Perfect wearing a suit with the WWF logo on it, a microphone in hand! Perfect asked Diesel if he was surprised to see him. Perfect talked about how he is the President of the World Wrestling Federation now, and how he wasn't going to allow this behavior from "Big Daddy Cool"! Mr Perfect told Diesel that he's going to make an exception for Diesel assaulting Bret Hart, because he knows he's waited so long, and so at In Your House, we will see Diesel challenge Bret "Hitman" Hart for the World Wrestling Federation Championship! The fans cheered, as McMahon talked about how Diesel was going to pay for this; yet Diesel was still standing tall over the WWF Champion, a smirk on his face and the WWF Championship in hand; a match made for In Your House, and a new interim President announced for the World Wrestling Federation! Monday Night RAW went off the air. | 00:58 |
| NEXT WEEK: SIX DAYS REMAIN BEFORE IN YOUR HOUSE; AS SHAWN MICHAELS AND YOKOZUNA TEAM UP AGAINST THEIR OPPONENTS FOR NEXT SUNDAY, OWEN HART AND THE BRITISH BULLDOG; THE MENACING MAN THEY CALL VADER RETURNS TO RAW; GOLDUST TAKES ON SAVIO VEGA; THE UNDERTAKER WILL CALL OUT THE MAN THAT ATTACKED HIM AT THE ROYAL RUMBLE; BRET HART AND DIESEL WILL ALSO BE IN THE HOUSE AHEAD OF THEIR WWF CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH! |

WWF Superstars - February 10, 1996 San Jose Convention Center - San Jose, CA
Segment | Description | Timeline | 1 | We kick off WWF Saturday Morning Superstars this weekend with a replay from Monday Night RAW, as Bret Hart took on Waylon Mercy, the WWF Champion managing to come close to victory against the "Hitman"s bizarre opponent - if not for a vicious attack by "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel. Diesel stated that he wanted his WWF Championship back after losing it to the "Hitman" at the Survivor Series - and his wish was granted, by the newly named President of the World Wrestling Federation, Mr Perfect confirmed the challenge by Diesel to take on Hart for the WWF Championship, next weekend at In Your House! The opening video package for WWF Superstars hit, as Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcomed us to the show, as they talked about Monday night on RAW and what happened, before talking about this morning's show, talking about how the "King of Harts" Owen Hart would be in action, as will "Make A Difference" Fatu and "Sycho" Sid; but also, the WWF Intercontinenal Champion, Sean Waltman will take on Duke "The Dumpster" Droese in non-title action; not only that, but "Double J" Jeff Jarrett, one-half of the WWF Tag Team Champions will take on one of his rivals, Billy Gunn! Lawler then talked about how he had collected some of Goldust's letter scraps, that were ripped up by the recipient of the letters, the "Bad Guy" Razor Ramon: and that this morning, the "King" planned to read some of those letters in that ring! | 00:03 | 2 | Billy Gunn (w/Bart Gunn) def. WWF Tag Team Champion "Double J" Jeff Jarrett (w/Dean Douglas) by count-out [08:09] [+00:02 for entrances] A preview of things to come in eight days' time, as the former WWF Tag Team Champions the Smoking Gunns prepare to take on "Double J" Jeff Jarrett and "Agent" Dean Douglas on February 18th at In Your House, after Jarrett and Douglas stole the titles at the Royal Rumble, just several weeks ago. Billy Gunn was full of momentum in this one, as he darted around the ring managing to take down Jarrett several times, Billy full of motivation, and desperate to bring those WWF Tag Team Championships home to the Gunns. Meanwhile, Dean Douglas watched on from ringside, and repeatedly attempted to interject himself in this one, Douglas managing to help "Double J" out of the ring several times in order to help give himself a breather from the faster Billy Gunn. Jarrett managed to gain momentum against Billy after a cheap shot from Douglas behind the referee's back, and Jarrett went right to work on the shoulder of big brother Billy. The cowboys were thought to be done, as the country singer "Double J" egotistically strutted around the ring, almost sure that he was going to get the win in this match-up. Jarrett continued, as Billy soon fired back with some big haymakers, Billy nailing Jarrett with a big dropkick! Billy soon went for a legdrop from the second rope, but Jarrett rolled out of the ring into "Agent" Douglas' waiting arms! The crowd booed, as the WWF Tag Team Champions then decided to walk out on Billy Gunn!
The crowd booed as Jeff Jarrett and Dean Douglas had decided to call it a day, the WWF Tag Team Champions proving their cowardly ways this morning on Superstars against the men that they meet in eight days at In Your House! The Smoking Gunns celebrated for the fans in San Jose nonetheless, Billy and Bart signalling that they are waiting to get the gold back on February 18th! | 00:13 | 3 | We returned to Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler, as they discussed what had just occurred, with Lawler trying to justify the WWF Tag Team Champions for walking away from that match-up, claiming that "Double J" Jeff Jarrett and "Agent" Dean Douglas want to be 100% for when they kick the fake cowboys, the Smoking Gunns' butts all over the Louisville Gardens next Sunday night! Ross talked about how Billy and Bart will be more psyched than ever to get their hands on the champions after these past couple of weeks, and all of the allegations that the champions have made. Ross then changed the subject, trying to get some comments out of Lawler, wanting to know what he was planning to do later on on Superstars, when he reads out Razor Ramon's torn up letters from Goldust! Lawler refused to give anything away. | 00:14 | - | Commercial Break | 00:18 | 4 | "Make A Difference" Fatu def. Robert Thompson [02:51] [+00:01 for Fatu's entrance] Robert Thompson would have to do anything it took to stand up against "Make A Difference" Fatu, the near-300 pound Samoan native tackling him with ease, early on in this match, as Fatu went right to work on Thompson, battering him with some lethal chops and splashing him in the corner! Fatu was getting worked up, as "Make A Difference" was indeed prepared to make a difference for the younger generation, as Fatu managed to put Thompson away easily with the Samoan Shuffle Kick! Meanwhile, the Greenwich "Blue Blood" Hunter Hearst Helmsley had some comments for Fatu, talking about how he's seen Fatu try to make a difference, but the fact remains that Fatu's obesity and class is not a good way to make a difference. Helmsley said that he pitied Fatu, stating that he could be much more than an advocate for change. Helmsley told Fatu that he wanted to make him change, because quite frankly, he's humiliating to watch in the World Wrestling Federation!
The crowd cheered for Fatu, as "Make A Difference" was victorious this morning on WWF Saturday Morning Superstars in singles action against Robert Thompson! Fatu celebrated with some younger fans in the ring, as Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler talked about what Hunter Hearst Helmsley had just said, Ross calling Helmsley's remarks quite disparaging, but Lawler argued that Fatu was embarrassing to watch as a part of the World Wrestling Federation, hoping that Fatu would see the error of his ways, trying to make a difference; "King" proceeded to call Fatu a hypocrite! | 00:22 | 5 |
We soon cut to the backstage area, where "Double J" Jeff Jarrett and "Agent" Dean Douglas were shown, the WWF Tag Team Champions approached by Dok Hendrix, as Hendrix wanted to get some words from Jarrett and Douglas, explaining why they decided to walk out on Jarrett's match with Billy Gunn of the Smoking Gunns earlier tonight. Douglas told Hendrix that it was simple, that they didn't want to waste their time, eight days prior to In Your House and waste all of their energy before hand! Jarrett called the Gunns stupid, stating that if they are real cowboys, then they are a bunch of stupid rednecks, without a doubt! Jarrett talked about what it feels like to be a real countryman, being a country music icon and how they were going to put these two imposter westerners to pasture on February 18th!
| 00:23 | 6 | "The King of Harts" Owen Hart (w/James E. Cornette) def. Freddie Joe Floyd [03:27] [+00:01 for Owen's entrance; +00:02 for aftermath] The "King of Harts" wanted to send a message to the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, especially after Owen Hart uncharacteristically made his match with Shawn Michaels for In Your House, with the WWF Championship shot at stake for WrestleMania, a Steel Cage match, as James E. Cornette rooted for Owen Hart in this one, as Jim Ross made note of trouble in Camp Cornette as of late, escalating between Yokozuna and the British Bulldog, as on Monday Night RAW this week, Owen will team with his brother-in-law Bulldog, to take on Shawn Michaels and Yokozuna. Cornette decided to talk about Yokozuna in an insert promo, as Cornette told Yokozuna that he has been a dummie for a long time, but because of his composing nature, Camp Cornette relied on Yokozuna's existence: but now his inaccuracies has been revealed, and he will pay the price when he goes one on one with the British Bulldog! Owen toyed with rookie Freddie Joe Floyd in this one, as Floyd continuously tried to show a fighting spirit against the "King of Harts", just for Owen to continuously knock Floyd down, before knocking his head nearly clean off with the dreaded enzuigiri! Owen then locked in the Sharpshooter, giving Owen the victory.
The crowd booed Owen Hart, as James E. Cornette got into the ring and raised the "King of Harts"' hand in victory, as Hart had scored another victory this morning on WWF Superstars! Hart then took a microphone and talked about how he had knocked another superstar out, as he stood over the unconscious rookie, Freddie Joe Floyd. Hart talked about how he's ready to put Shawn Michaels out of the World Wrestling Federation next Sunday, and from there, whether it be "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel or his brother, Bret "Hitman" Hart, we will crown a new World Wrestling Federation Champion by the name of Owen Hart on March 31st at WrestleMania XII! The crowd booed, as the "King of Harts"' confidence flared, when suddenly Shawn Michaels rushed down to the ring, the "Heartbreak Kid" firing away at Owen Hart with lefts and rights, before Cornette managed to drag Owen out of the ring under the ropes! HBK was hyped up, as he was ready to do whatever it took to go to WrestleMania and fulfill his boyhood dream! Michaels signalled for Owen to come get some eight days short of the Steel Cage Showdown, but Owen Hart simply walked away, Hart mouthing to Michaels that February 18th would be his last time in a WWF ring! | 00:29 | - | Commercial Break | 00:33 | 7 | An advertisement aired, promoting WWF In Your House, live on pay-per-view on Sunday, February 17, 1996. | 00:34 | 8 | "Sycho" Sid (w/Ted Dibiase) def. Jay S Storm [01:22] [+00:01 for Sid's entrance] The six-foot-nine monster was in action this morning on WWF Saturday Morning Superstars, as he made incredibly short work of Jay S Storm, a young man from Houston, Texas. Sid dismantled Storm with the greatest of ease, as Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler continued to talk about later on we were scheduled to hear from Lawler as he is scheduled to read out the letters that Goldust sent to Razor Ramon...but aren't they in shreds? The "Native American" Tatanka had some comments for Sid in the duration of this match, as Tatanka talked about how good it was to be free of the Million Dollar Corporation, vowing to chop down the Corporation from the inside out! Tatanka talked about Ted Dibiase and his "Million Dollar Greed", before stating that the "Native American" fought for a living to free those trapped by the almighty dollar. Sid meanwhile put Storm away with the Powerbomb for an easy victory.
"Sycho" Sid celebrated his victory, as the "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase joined Sid in the ring, Dibiase now having to do double-duty, because up next, his other client Sean Waltman, the WWF Intercontinental Champion is scheduled to take on Duke "The Dumpster" Droese! | 00:36 | 9 | Todd Pettingill was shown stood in front of several television monitors in the WWF official media suite, as he welcomed us to the WWF In Your House report. Pettingill spoke about the current line-up for In Your House, as it was announced this past Monday night on RAW that "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel would finally get his rematch with the WWF Champion Bret "Hitman" Hart, with the title on the line, after three months of walking around with a frown on his face!; Also, the "King of Harts" will put his WWF Championship shot at WrestleMania on the line, as Owen Hart takes on longtime rival, the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels inside of a fifteen foot-high Steel Cage!; Not only that, but the WWF Tag Team Championships will be on the line, as "Double J" Jeff Jarrett teams up with his agent, Dean Douglas to take on the former champions, the Smoking Gunns; Also learned on Monday night RAW this past week, the British Bulldog of Camp Cornette will face one-on-one the man that walked out on Camp Cornette last Monday, the 600-pound Yokozuna!; And also learned on Monday's In Your House report, the undefeated "Pearl River Powerhouse" Ahmed Johnson faces off with his strangest foe to date, Waylon Mercy; but added tonight, a match that shall take place on the WWF Free 4-All, the Bodydonnas will go up against the newest tag team, the Godwinns! Pettingill then took us to "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel, who had some comments for his rival, the "Hitman"! Diesel was then shown talking about how on November 20th, the biggest injustice in the World Wrestling Federation took place, when the WWF Championship was taken from him with a roll-up. Diesel talks about how he was the WWF Champion for 366 days, the longest in numerous years; he was unbeatable, when suddenly Bret Hart took that gold away from him, and ruined his credibility. Meanwhile, Bret Hart has been in the World Wrestling Federation claiming himself as a fighting champion, and yet he hasn't got a decisive victory over anybody! Himself, the British Bulldog, the Undertaker, Waylon Mercy - nobody! Diesel challenged Bret to try and beat "Big Daddy Cool" decisively, because he would not back down, and that World Wrestling Federation Championship would be coming back to his waist! Pettingill then signed off.
| 00:38 | 10 | WWF Intercontinental Champion Sean Waltman (w/Ted Dibiase) def. Duke "The Dumpster" Droese [05:45] [+00:02 for entrances; +00:01 for aftermath] Duke "The Dumpster" Droese had a good opportunity this morning on WWF Superstars, as he had the chance to potentially knock off a victory against the WWF Intercontinental Champion, Sean Waltman; whose ego was buzzing at an all time high, especally after defeating the "Bad Guy" Razor Ramon, and removing him from the title hunt, two weeks ago on Monday Night RAW - albeit not without assistance from the "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase and the "Bizarre One" Goldust. Waltman kicked into Droese in the opening moments, as Sean was sure that this one would not last too long - but that's when Droese jumped out of the corner with a big clothesline, the trash man wanting to take the trash out, and he did so, with a big fallaway slam on Waltman Droese followed up with a bulldog, as Waltman decided to try and stall around at ringside. Waltman was getting worked up and frustrated, as Droese wanted more of the Kid, Waltman hesitantly re-entering the ring and managing to target the legs of the larger opponent. The WWF Intercontinental Champion caught Droese with some sharp kicks to the leg, pulling Duke's body out from underneath him, and Waltman decided to step it up a notch by planning to put Droese away with the super kick, just for Droese to duck, and nail the Trash Compactor! Droese covered, but Ted Dibiase got onto the apron, Waltman soon slowly getting back up to his feet. Waltman waited for Droese to turn around, and he smashed Droese with a big super kick for the victory!
The crowd booed, as Sean Waltman's hand was raised in victory; although not without the assistance of his manager, the "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase. The WWF Intercontinental Champion's confidence continued to grow, as Waltman celebrated his victory over Duke "The Dumpster" Droese. | 00:46 | 11 | Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler talked about Sean Waltman's underhanded tactics to get the win there, against Duke "The Dumpster" Droese this morning, but Lawler then interrupted Ross, as he told Ross and the fans at home that up next, he was ready to read out some of the letters that Goldust attempted to send to the "Bad Guy" Razor Ramon! It's coming up next. | 00:47 | - | Commercial Break | 00:51 | 12 | We return to WWF Saturday Morning Superstars, as Jerry "The King" Lawler was stood in the centre of the ring to loud boos, as Lawler talked about how he is here this morning to bring everybody a little news regarding the notes that the "Bad Guy" Razor Ramon has been receiving in previous weeks - the fact that they belonged to the "Bizarre One" Goldust, as revealed this past Monday night on RAW. Lawler carried on, talking about how Ramon has been tearing these notes up, a few seconds after being handed them by a representative of Goldust's, and how he finds it appalling to say the least! "The King" continued as boos in San Jose's Convention Center rained down on the color commentator. Lawler talked about how the honorable Razor Ramon was the WWF Intercontinental Champion numerous times, and how he only decided to turn down challenges from Goldust, which is why tonight, he wants to make Ramon see some sense; he wants to read some of these notes out to him, right now! Lawler then introduced Goldust's mistress, Marlena, as the silent blonde then proceeded to make her way out to the ring to Goldust's them, looking luscious as ever, wearing a golden gown as per usual. Jerry thanked Marlena for being here to help conduct this Superstars exclusive: that Ramon is scared of Goldust! Lawler then requested the first of three notes from Marlena, from which she pulled out from her cleavage! Quite controversial to say the least, as this note was visibly pieced together using a lot of tape of sorts, evidence that Ramon had torn them apart. Lawler proceeded to begin to announce what was written, reading aloud that Goldust had shown interest in Razor, and had been wanting to get a hold of him for a long time; he admires the "Bad Guy", from his masculine, wiry dark hair to the toothpick which he longs to be in Ramon's mouth. Lawler continued, reading out that Razor is an inspiration to him, because he has something that he doesn't need: the WWF Intercontinental Championship - Goldust stating that he should be the gold that Razor should long for. Lawler then went to read out the next letter, also positioned from the contents of Marlena's gown. Jerry spoke that Goldust longed to feel Razor's unconscious head, and that he wanted him down and out on this canvas badly - and then when all is lost, Razor will need Goldust, because his own gold will be gone. Lawler then prepared to read the third letter, stating how Goldust hadn't heard from Razor, and how he was sorry that he lost his title belt; then stating that maybe he could give him a call or something. At that moment however, the theme of the "Bad Guy" hit, and San Jose lit up to loud cheers! Razor Ramon hit the ring, not wasting any time, as Razor slipped into the ring and grabbed the note out of Lawler's hand, re-tearing up the previously repaired piece of paper! Lawler tried to run from Razor, but instead Ramon kicked "The King" in the gut, and got him up for the Razor's Edge, connecting with it! Marlena scurried from the ring, as Razor taunted for the crowd in San Jose, WWF Saturday Morning Superstars going off the air. | 00:58 |

THE CHEAT SHEET Written by Marc Pearson on Monday, February 12, 1996
- The World Wrestling Federation have reportedly re-signed Rockin' Robin. Robin worked for the WWF initially from 1987 until 1990, where she held the WWF Women's Championship from 1988 until the title was retired in 1990. In the advent of Alundra Blayze reviving the womens division in 1993, it appears as though Robin has been signed in order to contend to Blayze's title. If this is the case, and if we at the Cheat Sheet suspect what will happen, Blayze will defend the title against Robin at WrestleMania XII: two years following her last defense at WrestleMania (WrestleMania X), where she defeated another 1980s female alumni, Leilani Kai.
- Apparently, Marc Mero's (Johnny B. Badd) contract with World Championship Wrestling comes to an end on March 1, 1996, and WCW have not yet reached an agreement with B. Badd to renew it. This could lead to B. Badd becoming a free agent; and sources say that the World Wrestling Federation have shown an interest in working with B. Badd. This came across as evident, as B. Badd lost the WCW World Television Championship last night to Diamond Dallas Page at WCW Superbrawl VI.
- In a mixup, last week we announced that the Headhunters' debut for the World Wrestling Federation would take place on an edition of Monday Night RAW, as made evident by their apparent appearance on-screen at the last set of television tapings, held when RAW is taped. Apparently, the Headhunters have not yet debuted on television yet, as they worked a dark match instead that night. The Headhunters' future is uncertain at this point.
- In a move that would potentially damage the World Wrestling Federation greatly, Razor Ramon and Diesel, two top-tier talents for the WWF, are considering jumping to World Championship Wrestling when their contracts expire.
- WWF Monday Night RAW and WCW Monday Nitro have been feuding back and forth in the same timeslot, on their own respective TV networks, the USA Network and TNT. So far, neither side have reached an advantage or had offense in the ratings war, and things remained the same last Monday night when RAW scored a 2.6 to Nitro's 2.7.
- WWF "Super" Monday Night RAW this past week aired on 2/5/1996. In results from the show: - Bret Hart def. Waylon Mercy. - The Godwinns def. The Spiders. - The Smoking Gunns def. Yokozuna & The British Bulldog.
- WCW Monday Nitro this past week aired on 2/5/1996. In results from the card: - Randy Savage def. Chris Benoit. - Arn Anderson & Brian Pillman def. Kevin Sullivan & Hugh Morrus. - Ric Flair def. Marcus Bagwell. - Sting & Lex Luger vs The Road Warriors; no contest.
- WCW Superbrawl VI aired on pay-per-view last night. (2/11/1996) In results from the card: - Hulk Hogan def. The Giant to retain the WCW World Heavyweight Championship in a Steel Cage match. - Ric Flair def. Randy Savage. - Sting & Lex Luger def. Harlem Heat to retain the WCW World Tag Team Championships. - Arn Anderson def. Kevin Sullivan. - Konnan def. The One Man Gang to retain the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship. - Diamond Dallas Page def. Johnny B. Badd to win the WCW World Television Championship. - The Nasty Boys def. The Public Enemy in a St Petersburg Street Fight. - MOTN: B. Badd/DDP. - DUD: Nastys/PE.
- WWF In Your House airs on pay-per-view on Sunday night. (02/18/1996) - Bret Hart vs Diesel for the WWF Championship. - Owen Hart vs Shawn Michaels for the WrestleMania WWF Championship shot in a Steel Cage match. - Yokozuna vs The British Bulldog - Jeff Jarrett & Dean Douglas vs The Smoking Gunns for the WWF Tag Team Championships. - Ahmed Johnson vs Waylon Mercy - The Bodydonnas vs Henry O. Godwinn & Phineas I. Godwinn on the Free 4-All. - Razor Ramon vs Goldust. (spec.)
- WWF WrestleMania XII airs on pay-per-view on 03/31/1996. - Bret Hart vs Owen Hart/Shawn Michaels for the WWF Championship. - Diesel vs Razor Ramon. (spec.) - The Undertaker vs Mick Foley. (spec.) - Yokozuna vs Vader. (spec.) - Sean Waltman vs Mr Perfect for the WWF Intercontinental Championship. - Hunter Hearst Helmsley vs Fatu. WWF Monday Night RAW Good way to kick off the show with the Smoking Gunns and Camp Cornette. The Smoking Gunns picked up the win was right, as it gave them momentum for the tag title match at In Your House, but the real story is Yokozuna walking out on Camp Cornette. Interested to see how this will play out. I liked Goldust’s interview with Jim Ross, and how he cost Razor the Intercontinental Championship so he was the only gold he could get was himself. Their match at In Your House could be fun, even if there’s no chance Goldust would go over. I assume they’ll have a match, anyway. British Bulldog challenging Yokozuna to a match at In Your House is good, I imagine we won’t have a clean finish here. If Yokozuna is going into a match with Vader, a loss to Bulldog would kill his steam, but I don’t think Yokozuna going over Bulldog clean is the right move either. It’s nice to see the Godwinns on RAW this week, I feel like the same people are being used on Superstars over and over, but that’s the problem when you only have an hour to showcase your roster. Steel cage stip for Owen Hart versus Shawn Michaels is cool, it’s not really necessary, but it’ll be a good match so I shouldn’t complain. I assume you’ll be sticking with the Rage in the Cage title. Lastly, decent main event between Bret Hart and Waylon Mercy. The DQ finish was fine, as it advanced the feud between Diesel and Bret. Wow, Mr. Perfect being the new president is pretty cool, and I’m glad to see Hart versus Diesel is confirmed for In Your House. I don’t think there’s any chance of Bret losing the strap before ‘Mania, however.Next week is looking good, I’m excited to see Undertaker call out Mick Foley.
WWF Superstars Billy Gunn and Jeff Jarrett going at it was a fine way to kick off the show, the count out finish was alright to make sure nobody looked weak. I’m glad that Jerry Lawler will read the letters from Goldust, I was confused as to why nothing ever came of that. Decent pair of victories for both Fatu and Owen Hart here, nothing too special. Typical squash matches for Superstars. Liked the run-in from Shawn Michaels, little bit of hype for their match next Sunday. Nice win for Sid here, I feel like he hasn’t been doing much lately. Judging by the Tatanka promo, it looks like we’ll be getting a feud between those two. The Godwinns versus the Bodydonnas being booked is good, should be a fine Free-4-All match anyway. Obvious win for the Intercontinental Champion over Duke Droese, but it was fine main event for Superstars. Ha, I loved the last segment with Lawler reading what Goldust wrote. That was creepy sh*t, to say the least. The part about Goldust wanting to be the toothpick in Razor’s mouth almost made me gag. Poor Jerry suffered a Razor’s Edge. I’m enjoyed this feud well, and I think you’re doing a good job with Goldust. This show wasn’t as eventful as RAW, but it had strong opening and closing segments. Overall, another enjoyable week of television, keep it up. The card for In Your House is stacked, I’m not too sure if you’ll have room for Razor/Goldust unless one match was kept short.

Another solid week of WWF programming from your alternate universe. I was wondering when you'd work in Yokozuna's face turn, now I'm interested in seeing where you go with it, since it could have worked out had Yokozuna not been so frightingly overweight. I also see you went ahead with the Goldust/Razor Ramon feud. Does that mean we're actually going to get that street fight at Wrestlemania we never got in real life? Wow, the Owen Hart/Shawn Michaels match will be in the cage insteat of Bret/Diesel. Mr. Prefect as President of the WWF, instead of Roddy Piper? I'm know I'm intrigued. I also notice you slightly changed Diesel's attitude going into the match, instead of having Diesel saying he hated being Champion because he became a Corporate puppet.
You doing a great job balacing what really happened with your own touch. Keep it up!

An overdue reply...
I fell behind in replying after every set of shows.
Just to tell you how much I am enjoying your show I try to imagine where you are going in the future.
You are doing many things right and I am enjoying the road to WrestleMania the only thing that is bothering me a little is how easy it was for HBK to talk Cornette into the match with Owen. Also I am a believer in if HBK is the man going to Mania he should have just won the Rumble.
Trying to get inside your head a little though I think IYH may throw a few surprises at us.
Sorry this is not a more in depth review. A good couple if weeks of TV which was hyped perfectly in advance.
Looking forward to the next couple of months

WWF Monday Night RAW - February 12, 1996 Stockton Civic Auditorium - Stockton, CA
Segment | Description | Timeline | 1 | A replay aired, taking us back to last Monday on RAW, as it was Bret "Hitman" Hart taking on Waylon Mercy in non-title action; the WWF Champion managing to practically put Mercy away with the Sharpshooter, until it was "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel that got involved, taking out Hart and demanding a rematch from the Survivor Series. The person to authorize it? None other than the new President of the World Wrestling Federation, Mr Perfect; who made the match for In Your House in six days time! The opening video package for Monday Night RAW aired, before we cut to the Stockton Civic Auditorium for RAW! Vince McMahon, Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler introduced us to the show, as they reminded us that In Your House was in six days time. They hyped up what was coming up in this hour, as new President Mr Perfect is to address the future of the furious newcomer, the man they call Vader; plus, the "Bizarre One" Goldust takes on Savio Vega; the Undertaker will be here to call out the masked man that attacked him at the Royal Rumble; Plus, the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and unlikely ally Yokozuna team up to take on their respective rivals for Sunday, the "King of Harts" Owen Hart and brother-in-law, the British Bulldog!; Not to mention, "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel and Bret "Hitman" Hart are both in the house, days prior to their WWF Championship rematch at In Your House! | 00:03 | 2 | The theme of the "Hitman" hit to a loud ovation, as the fans in Stockton immediately got to their feet upon the unprecedented arrival of Bret Hart! Vince McMahon commented on how we knew that we would hear from the WWF Champion tonight, but not yet, at least. Bret Hart hit the ring and soaked in the glory of the capacity crowd in the Civic Auditorium, as Bret took a microphone and talked about how this Sunday he has a challenge on his hands, brought to him by long-term rival, "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel, the man he beat to win this World Wrestling Federation Championship last November at the Survivor Series. But apparently, that isn't enough to beat Diesel, than to beat him decisively. Bret talked about how he comes from a wrestling family in Calgary, the Hart Family, defined for creating so many legends in this industry, and how he has breathed professional wrestling as a sport and a passion since the minute he was born, up until this defining moment where he stands before us as a three time World Wrestling Federation Champion. Bret commented on how he's been known as being the "Best There Is, the Best There Was, and the Best There Ever Will Be", and that is something that he plans to stick by. Hart spoke of what Diesel said about him last week, calling him a poor excuse of a WWF Champion, not being worthy to hold this prize. Bret reminded us that he defeated Diesel at the Survivor Series, and how he has had a frown on his face, and been walking around like a little baby since then! He beat Diesel, he beat the British Bulldog at In Your House; and he beat the Undertaker at the Royal Rumble. Bret then addressed that, stating that he didn't beat the "Deadman" the way that he wanted to, stating that he wanted to make the "Phenom" submit - but it was Diesel that got involved, and it was that masked man - and because of that, he'd have much rather wanted to face the Undertaker one more time! But unfortunately, thanks to "Big Daddy Cool" that didn't happen. Bret told Diesel that Diesel said he challenged him to beat him decisively this Sunday, if he even could - but that challenge will be simple, because he will make that seven-footer tap out in the centre of this ring this Sunday at In Your House! The fans cheered, as Bret began to leave, McMahon noting how Bret was focused, and how he wanted to remain being known as the fighting champion in the World Wrestling Federation. | 00:07 | 3 | Vince McMahon, Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler continued to discuss what was coming up on this hour, as up next we are scheduled to see the "Bizarre One" Goldust in action one-on-one with the "Puerto Rican Superman", Savio Vega! | 00:08 | 4 | Todd Pettingill was shown stood in front of several television monitors in the WWF official media suite, as he welcomed us to the WWF In Your House report. Pettingill spoke about the current line-up for In Your House, as it was announced last Monday night on RAW that "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel would finally get his rematch with the WWF Champion Bret "Hitman" Hart, with the title on the line, after three months of walking around with a frown on his face!; Also, the "King of Harts" will put his WWF Championship shot at WrestleMania on the line, as Owen Hart takes on longtime rival, the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels inside of a fifteen foot-high Steel Cage!; Not only that, but the WWF Tag Team Championships will be on the line, as "Double J" Jeff Jarrett teams up with his agent, Dean Douglas to take on the former champions, the Smoking Gunns; Also learned on Monday night RAW last week, the British Bulldog of Camp Cornette will face one-on-one the man that walked out on Camp Cornette last Monday, the 600-pound Yokozuna!; Plus, the "Pearl River Powerhouse" Ahmed Johnson will take on the strange Waylon Mercy, and on the Free 4-All, Skip and Zip of the Bodydonnas will take on the Godwinns, Henry O. and Phineas I. in tag team action! Pettingill then talked about one extra match between added to Sunday's In Your House event, as it will feature the "Bizarre One" Goldust going up against the man that he cost the WWF Intercontinental Championship two weeks ago on RAW, the "Bad Guy" Razor Ramon! At that moment, Pettingill directed us to a pre-taped promo with the "Bad Guy", as Razor talked about how Goldust wants to make a name for himself and let the big boys know whom they are messing with: it worked, because now the "Bizarre One" will find himself in a dangerous situation; Razor stated that he is not coming to In Your House this Sunday without a fight, stating that he lost his gold, but now he's going to make Goldust lose his, because on Sunday night, Goldust will find himself humbled and broken, courtesy of the "Bad Guy"! Pettingill reminded us that In Your House emanates from Louisville Gardens this Sunday night, before signing off.
| 00:10 | - | Commercial Break | 00:13 | 5 | "The Bizarre One" Goldust (w/Marlena) def. "The Puerto Rican Superman" Savio Vega by disqualification [04:59] [+00:02 for entrances] It was just announced on the In Your House report that the "Bizarre One" Goldust would take on the "Bad Guy" Razor Ramon this Sunday on pay-per-view, but tonight Goldust would take on one of Razor's best friends in the World Wrestling Federation locker room, the "Puerto Rican Superman" Savio Vega. Goldust traded blows with Vega in the early goings, but the fire inside of Vega grew to the Stockton crowd, and they began to cheer for the Puerto Rican, who proceeded to send Goldust to ringside with a big dropkick! Goldust was clearly fearful of Vega, as Marlena tried to reconcile the "Bizarre One", as Vince McMahon continued to ponder what connection Goldust and Marlena had. Vega would not let Goldust get any extra time to breathe however, as he came over the top with a big plancha, taking Goldust out on the floor! Vega was reering to go, as he dragged Goldust and rolled him back into the ring, then going up top for a diving elbow - just for Goldust to shove the referee into the ropes, crotching Vega on the top! Goldust pounded away at Vega, stroking his face before slapping him - and that's when Vega slapped Goldust back, coming off of the top with the diving spinning wheel kick! Goldust was down, but he managed to roll out of the ring in the nick of time! Vega was angry, and went out for more, the Caribbean fire of Vega continuing to grow, when suddenly Goldust grabbed a steel chair from the ringside area and smashed it into the head of Vega! The official rang for the bell.
The crowd booed, as the "Bizarre One" stood tall over Savio Vega, Goldust then shouting into the camera that this one was for Razor Ramon, before getting on all fours and crawling over the "Puerto Rican Superman", flaunting his stuff to the unconscious Caribbean kid. But suddenly, the "Bad Guy" ran out to the arena, a second week in a row trying to get his hands on Goldust! Ramon caught Goldust with a clothesline on the floor, before Goldust swiftly got up and shoved Marlena at Razor before running away! Ramon glared at Marlena in his arms, before grabbing her by the hair and pushing her down! Ramon was angry and ready for Sunday, as he aided to his fallen friend, Savio Vega. Meanwhile, Jerry Lawler motioned that he wanted some of Ramon for attacking this past weekend on Superstars. | 00:20 | 6 | In the backstage area, we saw the Undertaker with Paul Bearer in a dark locker room, as the "Deadman" seemed to be taping his wrists up, rather than wearing gloves! Bearer was pleading to the Undertaker not to call out this masked man, stating that it could go wrong and that they could get hurt - but the "Phenom" told Bearer not to worry about it, stating that the "Deadman" will never die! Jerry Lawler called this a big mistake, given what happened to the Undertaker at the Royal Rumble, with getting a chair stomped over his throat! The same could happen tonight. | 00:21 | - | Commercial Break | 00:24 | 7 | We returned to Monday Night RAW, as James E. Cornette was stood in the ring with the man they call Vader, as Vader looked as menacing as ever. Cornette had a microphone in hand, as he talked about how tonight is a very busy night for Camp Cornette, because in a little bit, the "King of Harts" Owen Hart and the British Bulldog will prove their dominance over the thought to be loyal Yokozuna, and that idiot, Shawn Michaels! But first off, Cornette was told last Monday to get Vader and bring him to RAW tonight, where the new President of the World Wrestling Federation Mr Perfect will address his future!? Cornette told the Stockton fans that this was stupid; that Vader should be in line for a shot at the World Wrestling Federation Championship and should not have to go through this absurdity! Vader then snatched the microphone from Cornette, telling Perfect to hurry up and get his butt out here right now so that he can get this over and done with, because Vader was ready to hurt, kill and maim his opponent tonight. The fans booed, when suddenly Mr Perfect appeared to cheers, the new President of the WWF appearing - but he was not alone, as Perfect had police officers with him, all with electrical tazers in hand! Perfect told the pair that they have been causing havoc around the locker room and the ring as of late, and how Vader's actions should not be tolerated - he took President Gorilla Monsoon out of action in a hospital, with what he did at the Royal Rumble; and that cannot go without discipline; which is why he's going to give Vader the benefit of the doubt, and let him stay on the payroll: but over the next three months, Vader will have to be accompanied by police officers at all times, and Vader will be kept under house arrest! The fans cheered, as Cornette called this dumb, as Perfect warned Vader that if he tried to do something if anything, to attack these men or attack anybody of authority outside of the ring; they would not tolerate it, and Vader would get tazered like the bear that he is! The fans cheered, as Perfect told the officers to head to the ringside area for Vader's match-up tonight. | 00:26 | 8 | The Man They Call Vader (w/James E. Cornette and police officers) def. Hakushi [02:00] [+00:01 for Hakushi's entrance; +00:01 for aftermath] This huge 450-pound monster had just been given a lifeline by new President in charge, Mr Perfect, but Vader was placed on house arrest in the same time, as these police officers stood back near the ringside area, watching on as James E. Cornette led the big powerhouse Vader in this match against the Japanese sensation, Hakushi. Jim Ross noted that these two have been focused in Japan in the past, and that that makes for an interesting contrast of styles, as Hakushi managed to use his agility to his advantage, managing to use his quickness against the man they call Vader in order to get the fans behind him: however, this did not do much for Hakushi, the Japanese sensation's efforts thwarted as Vader didn't feel groggy from any of Hakushi's arsenal: Vader then proceeded to brutally squash Hakushi with a big splash in the centre of the ring, before getting him up and nailing him with a thunderous powerbomb! The "Mastodon" then decided to drag Hakushi to his feet using one hand around the high-flyer's throat, dropping him with a huge backfist for the victory.
The crowd booed, as the man they call Vader was victorious in this effort by the Japanese sensation, Hakushi. Hakushi was down and out, as Vader had had another easy night in terms of competition on Monday Night RAW. Vader decided that he wasn't done with Hakushi however, as James E. Cornette got onto the apron and commanded that Vader lay more of a beating into the much smaller Hakushi! The crowd booed, as Vader dropped Hakushi with a second powerbomb, before dragging him over to the corner, and delivering a big splash off of the second rope onto the poor Japanese sensation! Vader shouted into the camera that it was Vader time, before Cornette and Vader were escorted to the backstage area by the police officers.
| 00:30 | 9 | Vince McMahon went on to begin talking about the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels teaming up with 600 pounds of Yokozuna, set to take on Owen Hart and the British Bulldog next, but suddenly "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel was shown walking down a corridor, as Vince McMahon had to change topic, telling us that Diesel, much like Bret Hart did earlier, was interrupting our schedule, and that we'd now be hearing from Diesel next, six days before he squares off with the World Wrestling Federation Champion Bret Hart! | 00:31 | - | Commercial Break | 00:34 | 10 | We returned to Monday Night RAW, as the theme of "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel hit, the crowd booing as Vince McMahon talked about how Diesel has been dead set on getting his hands on the World Wrestling Federation Championship for the past three months, reminding us of how Diesel once held the WWF Championship for 366 days. Diesel was ignorant towards fans with gloves, on the contrary to what he said about showing respect to those that wear the leather gloves. Diesel simply got into the ring and snatched the microphone away from the ring announcer, as he suddenly asked everybody what was wrong, if anybody had died recently or something. "Big Daddy Cool" spoke out about how he's changed his personality a lot, but it's paid off a lot because now he doesn't have to pander to the rugrats in the WWF crowd anymore! The crowd booed, as Diesel asked what was wrong with that, that he was being himself? Diesel reminded us that Bret Hart is a guy that claims to be himself, and he is beloved by all of the snot nosed punks in arenas across the world! The crowd booed louder as Jim Ross called Diesel disrespectful, to which Jerry Lawler stated that he caters to people that make people respect them, which is why he respects Diesel right now. Diesel spoke more about how the "Hitman" is not worthy of being World Wrestling Federation Champion, and none of what he said earlier was true. Diesel talked about how he lives by his own morals now, and what means the most to him is getting the glory, the fame, the money, the punishment, and more important than all of that, the World Wrestling Federation Championship! With that, the theme of the WWF Champion hit, and like earlier, Bret Hart came out to the ring with a look of discontent on his face! Bret had a microphone already in hand, as Hart asked Diesel if he wanted to carry on what he was saying now, with him in this ring. Diesel told Bret that he is nothing more than a stitch in the WWF cloth, that forms "Big Daddy Cool"s face! Diesel told Bret that the WWF Championship over Bret's shoulder is his, and Bret knows it because he had to beat him at the Survivor Series with a little vanilla midget roll-up! The crowd booed, as Bret showed determination, telling Diesel that he could have beaten him any way he wanted, but if Diesel is calling him an unworthy World Wrestling Federation Champion, then what does that make "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel. Bret talked about how he lives for these fans and breathes wrestling every single day of his life - whereas Diesel's motivation has clearly left the building, because all of a sudden he is now in it for greed, fame and glory! Bret told Diesel that he is the "Excellence of Execution" and the "Best There Is, Was and Ever Will Be", and that he'd prove that nickname this Sunday on pay-per-view! Diesel told Bret to count down the days, because this Sunday, he wouldn't be leaving Louisville Gardens with that WWF Championship - nor on his feet. But instead, the "Hitman" would be leaving title-less and on a stretcher! The crowd booed as Diesel left the ring, walking away without looking back. Things were heating up, six days before In Your House! | 00:40 | 11 | An advertisement aired, promoting WWF In Your House, live on pay-per-view this Sunday night. | 00:41 | - | Commercial Break | 00:43 | 12 | "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and Yokozuna (w/Mr Fuji) vs "The King of Harts" Owen Hart and the British Bulldog (w/James E. Cornette and Clarence Mason) ended in a no contest [00:00] [+00:02 for entrances; +03:00 for events] It was a strange sight to be seen, the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels walking down the aisle with Yokozuna - but not only Yokozuna, but Mr Fuji as well, as Fuji made his return to the World Wrestling Federation after several weeks of not being in attendance, and in the 600-pounder's corner. The "King of Harts" was not in a good mood, and was all go in this one, as Shawn Michaels showed off his motivation to fullfill his boyhood dream of being the World Wrestling Federation Champion on the grandest stage of them all, WrestleMania XII. This one was full of chaos, as Michaels and Yokozuna met their opponents for Sunday's In Your House in the centre of the ring, Michaels and Owen trading blows, as Yokozuna and the British Bulldog went at it; and even the managers were on edge, as Mr Fuji seemed to be stalking James E. Cornette and Clarence Mason around the ringside area at one point, Yokozuna wanting to get back at his former faction members, Cornette continuing to be in an outrage as Michaels and Owen continued to collide. Earl Hebner didn't even call for the bell in this one, as this was just an all-out brawl between all seven men involved in this match! Michaels and Hart went outside of the ring, still brawling, as there would be no escaping for HBK or the "King of Harts" this Sunday inside the steel-cage! Yokozuna and Bulldog meanwhile brawled inside of the ring, where Bulldog attempted to get Yokozuna with the Running Powerslam, but Yokozuna managed to crush Bulldog with all 600 pounds of his weight! Bulldog had to have regretted that one, as Yokozuna then went up to the second rope for the Banzai Drop, but James E. Cornette managed to catch his former client with the tennis racket! Yokozuna fell to the canvas, as Clarence Mason and James E. Cornette helped the Bulldog get out of the ring, Camp Cornette leaving!
Yokozuna was aided to by Mr Fuji as James E. Cornette and Clarence Mason walked out of the Stockton Civic Auditorium with the British Bulldog, as Yokozuna showed anger and desperation to get his hands on all three of them this Sunday at In Your House! Meanwhile, Vince McMahon, Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler discussed this big fight that just occurred between these two men and their managers, talking about Shawn Michaels and Owen Hart's ongoing brawl! McMahon and Ross promised to try and get a camera in the backstage area with the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and the "King of Harts" Owen Hart, who were apparently still going at it! | 00:48 | 13 | Suddenly, in the backstage area, a locker room door burst open, as Paul Bearer appeared, trying to hold back and restrain the Undertaker, the "Deadman" silent, as Bearer tried to push 'Taker back just for him to barge past him, Bearer warning the "Phenom" that he could get hurt! It was clear that the Undertaker was ready to address the Stockton crowd, as well as the man in the mask that attacked him several weeks ago! | 00:48 | - | Commercial Break | 00:51 | 14 | We returned to Monday Night RAW, as the theme of the Undertaker hit, and the lights went out in the Stockton Civic Auditorium, the fans in California getting reered up for the return of the "Deadman"! Vince McMahon commented on how Monday Night RAW would go on for as long as possible tonight, reminding the viewers to stay tuned if the show overruns past 11PM. The Undertaker was without Paul Bearer tonight however, as 'Taker made his first appearance in three weeks, the "Deadman" having been taken out of the World Wrestling Federation Championship picture by this masked man that assaulted him several weeks ago. The Undertaker got into the ring and rose the lights, as Jerry Lawler talked about how 'Taker better be careful, given that Paul Bearer seems to know exactly what happened with this mystery man, as he claimed last week. The Undertaker then stood in the centre of the ring with a microphone, the "Deadman" talking about how three weeks ago, he was screwed out of the WWF Championship when he was about to finally fulfill his destiny and become the man to beat in the World Wrestling Federation. 'Taker talked about how he's defeated so many faces come and gone in the WWF, and how it should be his time to claim what is rightfully is, and sit at the top of the WWF mountain, in a throne where all others have to bow before him as the ultimate savior of the World Wrestling Federation. The fans cheered, as 'Taker moved on, talking about how on January 21st at the Royal Rumble, he was attacked by a man in a masked from his past. The crowd booed, as 'Taker continued, talking about how he knows who this man is, how Paul Bearer knows who this man is, and how now, the man that bit him, must pay the ultimate sacrifice and get into this ring and face the "Deadman" mano-e-mano. The crowd cheered, getting amped up, as 'Taker tried to provoke this mystery man, 'Taker talking about how this masked man wants to run around in this mask because of his scars, that he's weak and alone and broken - but at the Royal Rumble, he started something that the "Phenom" will never forget, and the masked man WILL meet the Grim Reaper, and he will end the life of the man that tried to destroy his. The crowd cheered, when suddenly the lights went out, and the fans cheered loudly, anticipating the appearance of this masked man...but instead a video package played on the video wall! Sentimental piano music played, as it showed a shot of the masked man, followed up by a shot of a dislocated ear, that has seemingly been torn apart from a man's head. A voiceover then came over the arena, telling the Undertaker that he would never forget what he did to him or his life, and that revenge would be his for the taking! The man sounded increasingly demented, as the Undertaker's eyes rolled back into his head, and the Undertaker then left the ring in a hurry, seemingly wanting to get his hands on the masked man, wherever he may be! | 00:58 | 15 | Vince McMahon was about to sign off for Monday Night RAW tonight, as he began to talk up In Your House this Sunday on pay-per-view, when suddenly we cut to the backstage area, as Owen Hart was still fighting with Shawn Michaels! Owen sent the "Heartbreak Kid" right into a wall face-first, but Michaels then came back at the "King of Harts" with some sluggish rights, Shawn Michaels and Owen Hart continuing their rivalry, just six days away from In Your House in the Cage this Sunday night! Michaels and Owen were soon swarmed by officials that tried to separate both sides, as Owen yelled at Michaels that his career would end; Michaels telling Owen that he would take what is rightfully his this Sunday! WWF Monday Night RAW went off the air. | 00:59 |
WWF Superstars - February 17, 1996 San Jose Convention Center - San Jose, CA
Segment | Description | Timeline | 1 | A video package kicked things up this weekend on WWF Superstars, as it reviewed the building rivalries between Bret "Hitman" Hart and "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel, as well as the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and the "King of Harts" Owen Hart, Todd Pettingill discussing it in a voiceover. This Sunday, the road to WrestleMania XII soars to greater heights, as by the end of the night, two rivalries will be finished; we will have an official main event for the WWF Championship match at WrestleMania; and we will see who will reign supreme once and for all! The opening video package for WWF Saturday Morning Superstars aired, before we cut to the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, California, Jim Ross and special guest WWF President, Mr Perfect on commentary, as we are under forty-eight hours away from WWF In Your House! They hyped up the show for this hour, as in our main event, the "Bad Guy" Razor Ramon will meet a man looking for retribution on him after suffering a Razor's Edge last weekend on Superstars, Jerry "The King" Lawler!; Plus, Yokozuna will be in action; "The Ringmaster" Steve Austin will be in action; as will the "Pearl River Powerhouse" Ahmed Johnson and newcomer, "The Outlaw" James Bradshaw! All this plus more. | 00:03 | 2 | The Bodydonnas (w/Sunny) def. The Smoking Gunns [07:49] [+00:02 for entrances; +00:01 for aftermath] A high-impact battle was in motion in this morning's first match-up, the former WWF Tag Team Champions, the Smoking Gunns prepared to take on the current WWF Tag Team Champions, Jeff Jarrett and Agent Dean Douglas tomorrow night at In Your House; but tonight they firstly had to get through the hard-working fitness freaks, the Bodydonnas; whom, tomorrow night are scheduled to face off with Henry and Phineas, the Godwinns on the Free 4-All, emanating half an hour before In Your House begins. Billy and Bart Gunn teamed up as a dominating dynamic early on, proving their motivation going into their rematch for the Tag titles, scheduled for tomorrow night. Soon however, Skip and Zip managed to use their quickness to fire back at Billy, working away at his shoulder, and working effectively as a team; although not before there was any inclusion of Sunny, who distracted referee Mike Chioda as Skip and Zip illegally switched places and double-teamed Billy. Billy soon made a comeback however, managing to catch Skip off-guard with the dropkick! Billy finally got the tag, as Bart ran in full of steam, Bart with some right hands for fresh man Zip, Bart delivering a double noggin-knocker to the fans' delight! Bart and Billy soon went for the Gunslinger on Zip, but suddenly Dean Douglas ran down to the ringside area and got on the apron, distracting Chioda once again! "Double J" Jeff Jarrett then appeared on the apron, delivering a thunderous shot to Billy on the second rope, Jarrett smashing a guitar over the shoulder of Billy! Billy collapsed to the canvas, as Bart was caught off-guard, and Zip proceeded to roll up Bart out of nowhere, picking up the victory!
The crowd booed, as Jeff Jarrett and Agent Dean Douglas rushed up the aisleway, the WWF Tag Team Champions having given the Bodydonnas a big boost in their young WWF careers, but "Double J" and Douglas had perhaps waken up the Smoking Gunns even more, as Billy and Bart recovered in the ring, glaring at their rivals. Could this occur tomorrow night? Meanwhile, the Bodydonnas celebrated their victory with Sunny, a big win for Skip and Zip this morning! | 00:14 | 3 | We returned to Jim Ross and Mr Perfect, as Ross talked about how big a surprise it was for the Smoking Gunns to lose, twenty-four hours before their WWF Tag Team Championship opportunity against Skip and Zip, the Bodydonnas! Mr Perfect talked about how this must push Billy and Bart Gunn up, talking about how he'd hate to be Jeff Jarrett and Agent Dean Douglas tomorrow night at In Your House! Ross then changed the topic to Perfect as the new President of the World Wrestling Federation; stating that he must be very busy, so it's great to be joined by him this morning on Superstars. Perfect then talked about a different subject, taking us back to a replay from last Saturday on Superstars, where Jerry "The King" Lawler was joined by Marlena in this ring, as the duo tried to provoke the unstable "Bad Guy" Razor Ramon even more than ever before by reading out letters sent by the "Bizarre One" Goldust. Lawler was then attacked by Ramon predictably, and he decided to set up this match for later on, Lawler against Razor: and he hoped that the "King" would learn something from this! | 00:15 | - | Commercial Break | 00:19 | 4 | Yokozuna (w/Mr Fuji) def. The Arachnoids [01:21] [+00:01 for Yokozuna's entrance] The 600-pound massive phenomenon that is Yokozuna was in action this morning on Superstars, as Yokozuna was only just over twenty four hours away from taking on his former teammate, the British Bulldog in singles action at WWF In Your House. Yokozuna was appreciated by the San Jose crowd, as he was in action against both Arachnoids, Yokozuna easily managing to toss them around like ragged dolls! Yokozuna took out one of the Spiders with a full nelson slam, before thumping the other one with a big splash in the corner! The Arachnoids were down and out, and Yokozuna swiftly piled both of them on top of one another, went up to the second rope, and came off with the Banzai Drop for the easy victory! Meanwhile, James E. Cornette and the British Bulldog had some more comments for their ex-teammate, Cornette in an insert promo calling Yokozuna a Japanese Benedict Arnold, stating that by walking out on Camp Cornette would be the biggest mistake of his obese career, stating that he couldn't wait for the British Bulldog to pick him apart at In Your House! The Bulldog then talked about how Yokozuna was clumsy and he was dumb, and that he was idiotic as well for leaving Camp Cornette, attacking him, attacking the man they call Vader, and even trying to get his fat hands on the loyal James E. Cornette! Bulldog talked about how he was ready to splash that giant himself, vowing that he would body slam that big freak, and before long, Yokozuna will not want anymore of the Bulldog!
The crowd cheered, as Yokozuna celebated his victory, as Mr Fuji joining his client in the ring. Yokozuna had squashed the Arachnoids, Spider #1 and #2 this morning on Superstars, but could he squash the British Bulldog tomorrow night on pay-per-view? | 00:22 | 5 |
Todd Pettingill was shown stood in front of several television monitors in the WWF official media suite, as he welcomed us to the WWF In Your House report. Pettingill talked about how WWF In Your House was only twenty four hours away, emanating from the Louisville Gardens in Louisville, Kentucky on February 18th, 1996. Pettingill talked about the prestige of the event, how it is the final pay-per-view stop on the road to WrestleMania XII, which takes place on March 31st, 1996 from Anaheim, California. Pettingill spoke about the current line-up for In Your House, as it was announced last Monday night on RAW that "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel would finally get his rematch with the WWF Champion Bret "Hitman" Hart, with the title on the line, after three months of walking around with a frown on his face!; Also, the "King of Harts" will put his WWF Championship shot at WrestleMania on the line, as Owen Hart takes on longtime rival, the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels inside of a fifteen foot-high Steel Cage!; Not only that, but the WWF Tag Team Championships will be on the line, as "Double J" Jeff Jarrett teams up with his agent, Dean Douglas to take on the former champions, the Smoking Gunns; The British Bulldog of Camp Cornette will face one-on-one the man that walked out on Camp Cornette last Monday, the 600-pound Yokozuna!; Plus, the "Pearl River Powerhouse" Ahmed Johnson will take on the strange Waylon Mercy, and the "Bizarre One" Goldust will take on the man that he's stalked in recent weeks, the "Bad Guy" Razor Ramon; and on the Free 4-All, Skip and Zip of the Bodydonnas will take on the Godwinns, Henry O. and Phineas I. in tag team action! Pettingill talked about how big this event was, telling the viewers to order now, as In Your House is tomorrow night, live on pay-per-view! A video package aired, promoting the rivalry between "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel and Bret "Hitman" Hart, which all started with Diesel losing the WWF Championship to Bret at the Survivor Series; and since then, Diesel has adopted a completely different attitude, becoming more selfish and turning his back on the fans that supported him for the 366 days of his WWF Championship reign. But Diesel is back, and he is angrier than ever, wanting to get himself a piece of the "Hitman", and reclaim his WWF Championship going into WrestleMania XII.
| 00:24 | 6 | "The Pearl River Powerhouse" Ahmed Johnson def. Billy Mack [01:53] [+00:01 for Ahmed's entrance; +00:01 for aftermath] The furious 290-pound newcomer, Ahmed Johnson was reering to go tonight, as in the past four months of the "Pearl River Powerhouse" being in the World Wrestling Federation, Johnson has been able to defeat everybody that has stepped to him, Johnson quickly building up the ladder in the World Wrestling Federation. Johnson however, was up against a great task by the name of the strange Waylon Mercy, a dangerous man with lungs of steel, Mercy having noted since his return to the WWF last month that he was after Ahmed Johnson, that he wanted to hurt the "Pearl Rver Powerhouse" and add exclamation to his resumé, and end Ahmed Johnson's undefeated streak. Johnson made short work of Billy Mack this morning on Superstars, showing precise motivation for tomorrow's battle with Waylon Mercy, Johnson getting the victory with the Pearl River Plunge.
The crowd cheered as Ahmed Johnson celebrated his win in dominating factory this morning WWF Superstars - but suddenly the lights flickered, and Waylon Mercy appeared before the "Pearl River Powerhouse", Mercy powering through Johnson with a fiery clothesline! Mercy maniacally laughed, as Johnson seemed to be in a bad way, Mercy proceeding to stamp on Johnson's left hand with his big boot! The Georgia native then picked Johnson up and dropped him with the big Shoulderbreaker, as Mercy continued to laugh, Mercy having the last laugh going into In Your House tomorrow night on pay-per-view. | 00:28 | - | Commercial Break | 00:32 | 7 | An advertisement aired, promoting WWF In Your House, live on pay-per-view on Sunday, February 17, 1996. | 00:33 | 8 | We returned to WWF Saturday Morning Superstars to see the "Bad Guy" Razor Ramon, as Dok Hendrix was standing by, wanting to get some comments from Razor prior to his match later on with Jerry "The King" Lawler. Razor talked about how he was ready to give Lawler some punishment, he helped out Goldust and his little mistress Marlena last week, and stuck his nose in where it doesn't belong: but tonight, it's about delivering a message of his own to the "Bizarre One" - that nobody messes with the "Bad Guy", and tomorrow night at In Your House, Goldust would find that out the hard way, courtesy of Razor Ramon! | 00:34 | 9 | "The Outlaw" James Bradshaw (w/Uncle Zebekiah) def. The Brooklyn Brawler [03:36] [+00:01 for Bradshaw's entrance] James Bradshaw made an impressive debut two weeks ago on WWF Superstars, as the "Outlaw" showed off some incredible meanness, the tough Texan being accompanied to the ring by Uncle Zebekiah in this match-up, as tonight he went up against veteran in the World Wrestling Federation, the Brooklyn Brawler of the Tri-State area, two different ends of the country meeting in this match-up. The Brawler tried to put up a fight against the "Outlaw" in the early goings of this match-up, but Bradshaw used to stiff lefts and rights, allowing Bradshaw to manhandle Brawler and knock him around, before almost putting Brawler away with a sidewalk slam. Brawler soon tried to fire up a comeback, but Bradshaw managed to put him away with the big time Western Lariat out of nowhere! Meanwhile, James Bradshaw's Uncle Zebekiah had some comments for the World Wrestling Federation regarding the United States, calling Bradshaw a true American because of his hard-working, hard-hitting, take-nothing-from-nobody attitude - a self-made man with a passion to fight! Zebekiah opened up a challenge to any WWF superstar that thought they were as American as him to step up and take him on next Saturday morning on Superstars.
The crowd booed, as "The Outlaw" James Bradshaw celebrated his victory, as Uncle Zebekiah joined Bradshaw inside the squared-circle. Bradshaw and Zebekiah had their hands raised, before Bradshaw suddenly struck the Brooklyn Brawler with a second Western Lariat! Jim Ross called it uncalled for, as Bradshaw did not hold back in his second appearance on WWF television! | 00:38 | 10 | Jim Ross and Mr Perfect then began to talk more about WWF In Your House, before talking about Monday Night RAW this past week, where Perfect made the right decision on putting the man they call Vader on house arrest for the next three months, as Perfect talked about how it was a tough punishment, but that hopefully this showed Vader that he could not push around just about everybody in the WWF locker room. They also addressed the situation on RAW this past week, where Shawn Michaels teamed up with Yokozuna to take on Owen Hart and the British Bulldog - yet the match never got underway, as all four men began brawling, including the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and the "King of Harts" Owen Hart, who ended up brawling into the parking lot later on into the show! The WWF President referred to it as chaotic, and that we would see a rematch this Monday night on RAW, contested under "No Disqualification" rules! Perfect said that he did not want to cheat his fans out of a big match, and so we will see a rematch this Monday on RAW! | 00:39 | 11 | "The Ringmaster" Steve Austin (w/Ted Dibiase) def. Wayne Bradley [03:28] [+00:01 for Austin's entrance] Steve Austin has proven himself as quite a worthy WWF superstar in recent months since he made his debut, and this morning on WWF Superstars, he proved this to be no different, as the "Ringmaster" did what he did best, and trash talked with Wayne Bradley in the ring, as well as outwrestled him, all whilst the "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase laughed along. Austin soon managed to put Bradley away with an easy Million Dollar Dream, which caused Bradley to pass out, Austin picking up the victory. Meanwhile, Ted Dibiase had some comments of his own to make about a recent thorn in his side, the "Native American" Tatanka, as Dibiase talked about Tatanka having his freedom, having his Native American background as a pilgrim of some sort - but much like history repeats itself, everybody has a price, and that he would find out where Tatanka's sanctuary was, and build a parking lot on top of it! Dibiase continued, talking about the Million Dollar Corporation possessing some of the greatest superstars in the World Wrestling Federation today, and in the past, and in the future as well! Dibiase talked about how the Corporation would dominate the WWF in months to come!
The fans booed as the "Ringmaster" Steve Austin had his hand raised in victory, Austin with a smirk on his face, as Mr Perfect and Jim Ross pondered when the "Native American" Tatanka could come one-on-one with a member of the Million Dollar Man's army in the Million Dollar Corporation. | 00:43 | - | Commercial Break | 00:47 | 12 | A video package aired, taking us back to Monday Night RAW, this past Monday; as the Undertaker attempted to call out the man that took him out of the World Wrestling Federation Championship hunt at the Royal Rumble, just for the masked man not to answer. Apparently, the Undertaker and Paul Bearer know whom this man is, but nobody in the WWF seems to know! The masked man then signaled that revenge would be his for the taking, playing some sort of mind games to fight the "Deadman"s fire with his own fire; and one of these days, the masked man will surely pop up again to answer the Undertaker's call, perhaps when he least expects it. | 00:49 | 13 | "The Bad Guy" Razor Ramon def. Jerry "The King" Lawler [05:12] [+00:03 for entrances; +00:01 for aftermath] The "King" put himself in hot water last week with the "Bad Guy", as Jerry Lawler read out some letters that Razor Ramon's opponent for In Your House tomorrow night, the "Bizarre One" Goldust sent to Ramon previously - showing off Goldust's flamboyance, and apparent admiration for the former WWF Intercontinental Champion. Razor Ramon immediately fired into Lawler, who seemingly wasn't bothered by Ramon's threats earlier in the show, Jerry as per insulting fans in the San Jose Convention Center on his way down to the ring; Ramon meanwhile not giving Lawler any time to breathe, as Lawler exited the ring just for Ramon to follow him out and sucker punch him! The "Bad Guy" delivered a big fallaway slam to Lawler, and Lawler seemed to be in the worst of positions - before Jerry poked the eye of Ramon! Lawler got in several shots on Razor, pounding away at him and setting him up for a Piledriver - but Razor reversed it, backdropping Lawler! Razor fired back at Jerry, before nailing him with the Career-Ender! Razor was prepared fully for In Your House tomorrow night against Goldust, wanting to send a message of his own, via the "King", and Razor managed to put Jerry Lawler away with the Razor's Edge!
The crowd cheered loudly, as the "Bad Guy" celebrated his victory this morning on Superstars! Razor Ramon victorious this morning in our main event, and rearing to go for In Your House tomorrow night! Ramon celebrated, before suddenly he noticed the "Bizarre One" Goldust on the aisleway, Goldust and Marlena watching on, as the two met eyes, over twenty four hours prior to their encounter at In Your House! WWF Superstars went off the air. | 00:58 |

I miss In Your House. I also like the idea of Mr. Perfect as the President. Bret pulling the fighting Champion stuff fits him especially where he wanted to make the Undertaker submit. The In Your House report was pretty cool, the lineup for it looks good especially the Owen/HBK match. I do feel like a match should've come before this since the show opened with a promo. The Puerto Rican Superman haha. I like the tougher side of Goldust coming out, always been a fan of his, and his match with Razor Ramon should be good. Another one I'm looking forward to. Ooh, taping his fists? The idea of Vader being so vicious that he needs to be under house arrest is great, but I don't understand why the police didn't try anything when Vader assaulted Hakushi after the match. Weird. I wish that Diesel would've interrupted Bret earlier and maybe this slot could've gone to promoting another match instead. The main event turning into a brawl was cool, and I would've enjoyed the sight of Yokozuna & Shawn Michaels together. Mankind/Undertaker at WrestleMania XII makes me excited. Good, realistic show and I like where you're going with this. Can't wait for IYH and WrestleMania XII.
The Bodydonnas winning was a surprise but made sense with the interference. Got a good amount of time too. Haha gotta love the Yokozuna squash. The In Your House report in this spot makes more sense to me. I would love to see Waylon Mercy beat Ahmed Johnson. I never liked Ahmed but I understand his appeal at the time. Good Razor promo. Uncle Zeb! JBL! Brooklyn Brawler! Good squash. The mother f'n Ringmaster. I like and really want to see where this Corporation goes. Solid main event, I like the backstory of Lawler reading Goldust's bizarre letters. Overall, I enjoyed Superstars a bit more due to who was featured. I liked both though and am excited for more.

I like the modern edge undertaker showed in his segment taping his hands. Makes the feud with foley feel very personal already. I like the razor/goldust feud and the mini feud with lawler on superstars. Looking forward to IYH.

WWF In Your House 5: "Rage in the Cage" - February 18, 1996 Louisville Gardens - Louisville, KY
Segment | Description | Timeline |
| Dark Match - "Sycho" Sid (w/Ted Dibiase) vs "The Native American" Tatanka [+00:02 for entrances] The "Native American" Tatanka was once a close ally of the six-foot-nine monster from Tennessee, as far back as the 1995 King of the Ring, where "Sycho" Sid teamed up with Tatanka in a losing effort against "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel and Bam Bam Bigelow. But that was clearly too long ago. The "Native American" Tatanka disappeared last summer from the World Wrestling Federation, only returning at the Royal Rumble, immediately targeting his former allies in the Million Dollar Corporation - which brought us this match tonight. Sid and Tatanka exchanged blows, as Sid attempted to use his power to an advantage; and in an unorthodox move, the 270-pound Tatanka had to resort to agility and speed to counter Sid's raw and brutal array of tactics. Tatanka almost got the victory after knocking Sid down with a bulldog from the second rope; but that's when the "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase got on the apron and distracted his former client, leading to Sid getting up and delivering a one-handed chokeslam to Tatanka for the victory. "Sycho" Sid def. Tatanka [06:14]

| WWF Free 4-All - The Bodydonnas (w/Sunny) vs The Godwinns (w/Hillbilly Jim) [+00:02 for entrances; +00:01 for aftermath] This all started several weeks ago on WWF Superstars, after Henry O. Godwinn was the recipient of an assault at the hands of Skip and Zip, the Bodydonnas, led by the ever attractive and devious Sunny, their manager. Henry O. Godwinn would bring in his cousin however, by the name of Phineas I. Godwinn. Together, the Godwinns formed a front against the Bodydonnas, leading to this match on the WWF Free 4-All, with only under thirty minutes to wait until In Your House, live on pay-per-view. The Bodydonnas were after some measure of retribution on the Godwinn cousins however, especially after Henry slopped the Bodydonnas' manager Sunny two weeks ago on Saturday Morning Superstars. And the Godwinns wanted to prove whom they were, the country boys wanting to get the better of the higher-class fitness freaks, Skip and Zip, of the Bodydonnas. Henry and Phineas were accompanied by Hillbilly Jim, their supposed uncle, as Jerry "The King" Lawler remained skeptical of the Godwinns' family tree, calling it "weird". Henry and Phineas formed a powerful front against their shorter and smaller opponents, Zip being on the receiving end of an attack from Henry and Phineas, before Sunny's distractions at ringside led to Phineas taking his eye off of the ball, Skip dashing into the ring following a tag, and going right after Henry with a dropkick to the knee! Skip and Zip soonafter double-teamed Henry, visibly targeting the more experienced Godwinn as Hillbilly Jim watched on from ringside, trying to get the Louisville crowd pumped up for the hog farmers. Zip and Skip's double-team attack soon went wrong however, as Henry was sent off the ropes, and came back with a big double clothesline for Skip and Zip of the Bodydonnas! Henry soon managed to make the tag to the fresh Phineas, as he darted into the ring and nailed both Bodydonnas with a set of bionic elbows, Henry and Phineas then attempting to connect with the Double Slop Drop - but Zip got involved, going after the leg of Henry! Zip tried to trade blows with legal man Phineas, which led to Phineas and Henry sending Zip out of the ring! Skip then went for a dropkick off of the top rope, but Phineas telegraphed it, moving out of the way, before a big elbow drop gave the Godwinns the victory! The Godwinns def. The Bodydonnas [07:35] *3/4
The crowd cheered, as the fans in Louisville got out of their seats for the Godwinns! Henry O. Godwinn raised Phineas I. Godwinn's hand in victory, as the Godwinns celebrated their victory with Hillbilly Jim, the trio celebrating in the form of a square dance, as the Arkansas natives proved to the Bodydonnas tonight that you don't go messing with a country boy! Sunny meanwhile led the Bodydonnas, Skip and Zip away from the ring. |
| 1 | The opening video graphic aired, promoting the World Wrestling Federation. Following this, the opening video package for In Your House aired, Todd Pettingill narrating and introducing the story of the road to WrestleMania XII. Four men tonight will square off in two different matches, in two completely different matters of business, and the winners of these matches will go on to headline the biggest event of the calendar year in the WWF, WrestleMania! Pettingill hyped three months in the making for both of these matches, firstly referring to the "Hitman" managing to win the WWF Championship in what could be considered by some a "fluke", which awakened a locked up animal within "Big Daddy Cool". Diesel turned his back on the fans, as Bret Hart went on to become a fighting champion, defeating the likes of Yokozuna, the British Bulldog, and the Undertaker. Meanwhile, Diesel continues to be angered by the "Hitman", altogether leading into tonight, where the two finally settle the score over the World Wrestling Federation Championship. On the other side of the fence, a man from a wrestling family has set out his mission to become the standout, to go on and become a bigger superstar than his brother, Bret. The "King of Harts", Owen Hart almost ended the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels' career two months ago with a brutal enzuigiri, and Owen has knocked out several WWF superstars since: but tonight, after so much drama, Owen Hart will put his WrestleMania opportunity on the line, as the winner of the 1996 Royal Rumble match finally has to put up or shut up with his overconfident views, as he faces an enraged "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels inside of a fifteen-foot high steel cage! Who will go on to WrestleMania? Tonight, we will all find out! This fed into the opening graphic for In Your House, as we cut to the sold out Louisville Gardens, and pyrotechnics were going off, Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler proudly welcoming us to WWF In Your House! They talked about the upcoming two hours, and how much drama tonight should bring, before letting us get right into the action. | 00:04 | 2 | "The Bizarre One" Goldust (w/Marlena) vs "The Bad Guy" Razor Ramon [+00:03 for entrances; +00:01 for aftermath] This all started two months ago, apparently, as the "Bad Guy" Razor Ramon was in the midst of his reign as the WWF Intercontinental Champion, Ramon managing to defeat "Sycho" Sid at the last In Your House - before planning to put away his ex-best friend Sean Waltman at the Royal Rumble - however, Waltman managed to get the win, Razor losing his gold to the Million Dollar Corporation. During this time, Ramon was handed letters from a secret admirer, this admirer planning to take Ramon and save him. The admirer was revealed two weeks following the Rumble on Monday Night RAW, as Razor was cost his final opportunity at the WWF Intercontinental Championship by none other than the "Bizarre One" Goldust! Goldust cost Razor the title, causing Ramon to become infuriated. It didn't help when Jerry Lawler read the letters from Goldust to Razor out; revealing Goldust wanting to be the gold around Ramon's waist, and the toothpick in Razor's mouth. This further infuriated Ramon, as he continuously tried to manhandle Goldust on various occasions. Goldust was accompanied by his valet, Marlena to loud boos, as Vince and Jerry Lawler further pondered what the connection between Goldust and Marlena actually was - but this wouldn't last long, as Razor Ramon's theme hit and all comedy turned to immediate business. Ramon hit the ring and traded blows with a still-robed Goldust, the "Bizarre One" trapped, as Ramon fired away with heavy handed rights at the newcomer, the man dressed in gold getting tossed around the ring by the "Bad Guy", Razor wanting to annihilate Goldust tonight! The fans in Louisville backed Ramon all of the way, as Razor tore the gown off of Goldust's back and proceeded to clothesline Goldust with great intensity over the top rope to the floor! Ramon was only getting started tonight, as Goldust was aided to by his mistress, Marlena. However the fans booed moments later, as they realized that Goldust was attempting to make a getaway, Goldust trying to leave after under two minutes of action, with Marlena! The golden-clad couple headed up the aisle, but Razor prevented them from going anywhere, rushing p the aisle after them and tackling Goldust! The fans exploded, as Ramon pounded into Goldust on the aisleway before sending him back down to the ringside area, where Goldust began to fight back against the "Bad Guy", Goldust sending Ramon flailing into the guard rail! Goldust continued to lay into Ramon with lefts and rights, before Razor fought back, Goldust unfortunately sending Ramon spine-first into the ring apron! Goldust rolled Ramon back into the ring, joining him to beat the count of eight; as Goldust soon applied a sleeper hold on the former WWF Intercontinental Champion. The fans in Louisville weren't pleased, as Razor soonafter fired out of it, connecting with an atomic drop for the "Bizarre One"! Goldust could not shrug off the "Bad Guy" in this one, as Ramon sent Goldust off of the ropes and caught him with a big hip toss, Razor continuing his onslaught, as a nervous Marlena bit into her cigar at ringside. Razor soon brought Goldust into the corner and tore open a part of his golden bodysuit, slapping Goldust on the chest! Ramon followed up with several more knife-edged chops into the chest of the "Bizarre One", Ramon having so much built up rage from the past couple of weeks, which nobody in the World Wrestling Federation had quite seen before! Razor then sent Goldust into the opposite corner, but as Razor charged at Goldust, Goldust cut Ramon off with a big clothesline, sending Ramon right down to the canvas, almost taking off Ramon's jaw in the process! Goldust continued the attack, by stomping away at Ramon to boos, and the fans booed louder as Goldust began to stroke himself with excitement. Goldust continued his attack before seemingly getting oversatisfied with his job, getting down on all fours, and slowly approaching Razor laid on his back, and Goldust covered Ramon, almost trying to reach in for a kiss - just for Ramon to sit up and punch Goldust in the nose! Razor struggled to get Goldust off of him, as Ramon tried to regain some momentum, sending Goldust into the ropes - but Goldust cut him off again with the kitchen-sink knee to the gut! Ramon flipped across the ring, as Goldust went back to tormenting Ramon, as well as the capacity crowd in the Louisville Gardens, all disapproving of the "Bizarre One"s antics. Goldust tried to be cheap, as he choked Razor, screaming and moaning provocatively that he wanted Razor to suffer and choke! Goldust's more sinister and disturbing flamboyance was flailing all over the Gardens now, as Marlena cheered for her man, as Goldust continued to stroke himself and make noise to loud boos from the capacity crowd in attendance for In Your House. Goldust soon got ready for the Curtain Call, but instead, Razor reversed it into a fireman's carry, slamming Goldust! Goldust and Razor both remained down, as referee Mike Chioda began the count for both men to rise to their feet. Razor and Goldust met in the centre of the ring, as Ramon and Goldust traded some unsettling blows, neither man gaining advantage, until Ramon got in several more shots on Goldust, Goldust trying to dive at Razor with a type of crossbody, just for the "Bad Guy" to block it and turn it into the Snap-Ab Suplex! The fans cheered as Ramon began to slowly try and regain momentum, Razor then motioning for the Razor's Edge, and he had Goldust in position for it - but Goldust took down Ramon, bridging over Razor! Ramon's shoulders were down, as Chioda counted two; but Razor's arched up and out of it, getting in the backslide on Goldust! Goldust kicked out at two, when suddenly Goldust sucker punched Ramon! Goldust hooked the legs and the second rope, as Chioda was out of position; Goldust stole it! "The Bizarre One" Goldust def. "The Bad Guy" Razor Ramon [11:28] **1/2
The crowd booed loudly as the "Bizarre One" rolled out of the ring, as Goldust had stolen this match with Razor Ramon! Goldust fell into the arms of Marlena, as she helped her man up the aisleway in celebration, although not quite sticking around to celebrate around the "Bad Guy" either! Goldust dropped something out of his hand...golden-brass knuckles! Vince McMahon talked about this being a miscarriage of justice, as Jerry Lawler defended Goldust, defeating this bully, Razor Ramon! The "Bad Guy" remained down on the canvas, as Razor Ramon was checked on by referee Mike Chioda: Razor not having come through from the golden-brass knuckles shot to the face yet - but you had to believe that Ramon was far from done with Goldust. | 00:19 | 3 | Meanwhile, Dok Hendrix was shown in the backstage area standing by with the World Wrestling Federation Champion, as Hendrix wanted to get a few words with the "Hitman" before his big match tonight against his rival for the past couple of months, "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel. Hendrix asked Bret how he was, asking him what his strategy was going into tonight's match, and how he felt about the accusations that Diesel has put on his shoulders. Bret seemed motivated, talking about respect, talking about monickers and who called him the "Best There Is, Was and Ever Will Be" in the first place. Bret talked about how those nicknames aren't just words, that they mean something, and what he did at the Survivor Series with Diesel, ending his 366 day reign as World Wrestling Federation Champion happened - and for reason! Bret talked about how Diesel cried over spoiled milk, and now he's turned his back on his fans, he's walking around with a chip on his shoulder, and he still somehow gets his rematch for the WWF Championship? Hart talked about how Diesel has accused him as not being a worthy WWF Champion - which is strange to say the least, considering that he is indeed a three-time WWF Champion, a fighting champion - he's been in the ring with the best of them in his twelve years in the World Wrestling Federation. And tonight, he plans on taking care of business, and putting Diesel out of the hunt altogether! Bret was incredibly focused, as Hendrix thanked him for his time. | 00:21 | 4 | Waylon Mercy vs "The Pearl River Powerhouse" Ahmed Johnson [+00:02 for entrances; +00:01 for aftermath] The strange and outright bizarre Waylon Mercy has had it in for the "Pearl River Powerhouse" ever since he returned to the World Wrestling Federation from a mysterious sabbatical. Mercy wanted to make an impact, and he decided to lay his hands on the "Pearl River Powerhouse", going as far as attacking him on WWF Saturday Morning Superstars. The "Pearl River Powerhouse", an undefeated newcomer in the World Wrestling Federation made his arrival during Mercy's sabbatical and made a huge impact, but tonight was the big test for Mercy, who once defeated "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel by count-out last year. Ahmed Johnson made his arrival to the ring, but that's when Waylon Mercy suddenly went after Johnson, taking him down quickly with a big clothesline! Mercy stomped away at the "Pearl River Powerhouse", getting himself a head start against Johnson right off the bat. Mercy dropped several elbows into Johnson and covered, but to no prevail as Johnson kicked out at two. Mercy was irate and relentless in his attack, as he tried to pick Ahmed up for a further beatdown, just for Johnson to reverse an Irish whip right into a spinebuster! Johnson then laid into Mercy with countless lefts and rights, which took referee Timmy White to interject and scrape Ahmed away from the unique man from Georgia! Mercy rolled under the ropes, in hope of finding a place to hide or catch a breather from the newcomer, but Ahmed grabbed Mercy by his collar, and brought him to his feet, hip tossing him over the top, and back into the ring! Johnson had the entire Louisville Gardens behind him, as he prepared for the Pearl River Plunge - but Mercy dropped to his knees and headbutted Johnson in the gut! Mercy soon picked Johnson up and planted him with a sidewalk slam, again getting the cover but for two. Mercy seemed unable to keep Ahmed down for a three, as the undefeated youngster was showing immense levels of resilience against the veteran. Mercy continued to slug it out with Johnson, covering him and continuing to rain fists down into the face and skull of Johnson, visibly affecting the "Pearl River Powerhouse"! Jerry Lawler was loving it, the "King" noting that he'd never seen Ahmed so weak, and that he wanted his undefeated streak to die tonight, in the hands of Waylon Mercy! Mercy continued his beatdown, as Johnson continually tried to make a comeback - just for Mercy to put him down once more. Mercy nailed Ahmed with a spinebuster and a DDT, but both of the efforts were unable to keep Ahmed down! And as the fans in Louisville began to root for Ahmed like never before, Mercy taunted to signal for the shoulderbreaker, picking Johnson up for it...and Johnson slipped out onto his feet, off of the ropes and taking Mercy down and out with a big lariat! Johnson had the fans behind him now, as he slowly got to his feet - as was Mercy, and Mercy swung one more time at Johnson - Ahmed ducked, and the Pearl River Plunge connected! Johnson covered, and Mercy was another stitch in the cloth of Johnson's undefeated streak! "The Pearl River Powerhouse" Ahmed Johnson def. Waylon Mercy [08:29] **
The crowd cheered as Ahmed Johnson celebrated his victory, the Louisville fans embracing the "Pearl River Powerhouse" as he resumed his dominant undefeated run in the World Wrestling Federation! Johnson had his hand raised by Timmy White, the referee, as Johnson had overcome the odds once more tonight at In Your House, the newcomer now seriously continuing to gain more and more momentum every time the fans see him! Meanwhile, Waylon Mercy remained down, clutching his head after the Pearl River Plunge. Vince McMahon cited the future potential of this young man from the Pearl River.
| 00:32 | 5 | In the backstage area, Todd Pettingill was shown approaching the "King of Harts" Owen Hart, as Owen was stood by himself uncharacteristically. Pettingill mentioned how rare it is to find Owen by himself, as Hart talked about how tonight he was genuinely motivated. Hart talked about being the youngest member of the Hart family of twelve; how hard that was on him, because all of his brothers, and his mom and dad all looked at good old brother Bret, the WWF Champion - Owen talked about how nobody ever gave an earshot of him before...but then he turned his back on Bret, and he's began to make his own career built off of himself! Owen reminded us that he won the 1994 King of the Ring tournament, and how he won the 1996 Royal Rumble last month: how all of that should qualify him for a shot at the World Wrestling Federation Championship at WrestleMania XII. But nope, because Shawn Michaels wants to get in his way and fulfill his "boyhood dream". Owen asked Shawn why he thought his boyhood dream was superior: Owen's dream is to be the WWF Champion, and he would make a better one than the "Heartbreak Kid", a better one than the "Hitman", too! Owen talked about how it's too late now though, because he took HBK out of professional wrestling ALMOST indefinitely - but that just wasn't enough...he was going to cripple the so-called "Showstopper" once and for all tonight in the steel cage, and he's going to do it single-handedly! Vince McMahon didn't seem overly convinced with Owen's comments about doing it on his own, but Jerry Lawler told Vince that Owen would prove him wrong! Does the "King of Harts" have anything up his sleeve? | 00:34 | 6 | In another part of the backstage area, Jim Ross was shown walking up to the "Bizarre One" Goldust and Marlena, as Ross wanted to catch a few comments from Goldust and Marlena about their behavior earlier on tonight, running away from the "Bad Guy" Razor Ramon, and cheating to prove his point. Goldust interrupted Ross, talking about how he got the job done tonight, and that he is on his way to being Razor's toy - it's worked already, he's riled him up enough! Marlena then spoke for the first time on WWF television, stating that her man Goldust is passionate about capturing the interest of his audience...and his audience in the past few weeks were also his actor: he's pulling Razor's strings like the puppet employee that he is! Suddenly however, Razor Ramon came into frame, firing blows at Goldust! The fans in Louisville lit up with delight, as Ramon was annoyed by Goldust's antics earlier on tonight, Razor and Goldust now going at it once more tonight! Ross tried to call for officials, as Razor and Goldust soon brawled out of the area. | 00:35 | 7 | WWF Tag Team Championships - "Double J" Jeff Jarrett and Agent Dean Douglas (c) vs The Smoking Gunns [+00:03 for entrances; +00:01 for aftermath] The Smoking Gunns were arguably one of the most successful tag teams in the World Wrestling Federation in 1995, the two cowboys winning the WWF Tag Team Championships two times, both within the calendar year: of course however, that all came crashing down on January 21, 1996 at the Royal Rumble, where Jeff Jarrett and Dean Douglas stole the titles from Billy and Bart, dashing the Gunns' success. "Double J", the country music star has gone out of his way to disparage the Smoking Gunns' reputation, proclaiming them "not real country boys", and not real stars of the western scene - an insult to the Texans. It culminated four weeks ago on RAW, where Billy and Bart interfered in Jeff Jarrett's newest hit single "Hearts of Gold", trashing the set of Jarrett, and the hard work put in by Jarrett's agent, Dean Douglas. Bart started things off with Dean Douglas in this Royal Rumble rematch, as the Gunns proved how motivated they were to regain the WWF Tag Team Championships for a third time in the early goings of the match, taking down Douglas with ease, and outsmarting the former teacher, Douglas being forced to work a quick pace against Bart of the Smoking Gunns. Dean tried to make it work for his advantage however, just to end up being tossed over the top rope, and down to the floor below. Bart was riding at an all time high, as he soon followed up with a swift baseball slide, taking down Douglas on the floor, Bart then proceeding to pose for the capacity crowd, all 6,000 supporting the challengers in this match. Jeff Jarrett and Agent Dean Douglas decided to regroup on the floor, as Bart tagged in Billy, and Billy went airborne, a plancha through the ropes onto both champions! Billy and Bart then dragged Dean Douglas back into the ring, Billy wearing a bandage over his left shoulder, a victim of an acoustic guitar shot from "Double J" yesterday morning on WWF Superstars, as the Gunns had a lot that they wanted to regain from the WWF Tag Team Champions. Douglas continued to be worked over by Billy and Bart, whom made very quick tags and worked over the arm of Agent Douglas, as Billy wanted to go to work on one half of the champions. Douglas soon managed to break away from Billy however, poking him right in the eyes with his fingers! Billy couldn't see straight, and that's when Douglas decided to take advantage, catching Billy off of the ropes with a big powerslam! Douglas began to fire into Billy with numerous lefts, before noting the bandage over the weakened shoulder of Billy, and dropping several knees onto it! The crowd booed in disapproval, as Douglas soon dragged Billy back into the champs' corner, Douglas getting the tag to "Double J", who decided to show off his egotism by strutting around the ring for the fans. Jarrett continued where Douglas left off, stomping away at the shoulder of Billy Gunn, Jarrett with a flare tonight in this encounter with Billy, Bart trying to get into the ring. Jarrett and Douglas continued to work over the shoulder of Billy with quick tags, and at one point, Agent Dean even slapped illegal man Bart across the face, provoking Bart to get into the ring, just for referee Jack Doan to try and restrain Bart, as Jarrett and Douglas slyly double-teamed the weakened Billy Gunn, isolating him from his brother! Jarrett continued to strut around the ring, as Douglas greeted the fans with boos; the WWF Tag Team Champions seemingly having Billy's number, as Douglas applied an armwrench on Billy, trying to dislocate the shoulder from his socket! The fans in Louisville tried to cheer Billy on, as Billy finally managed to roll out of it, then delivering a big boot to the jaw of Douglas! Billy was slow to react and get to his feet, as Jack Doan counted both men down, Jarrett and Bart both trying to get the tag, and Billy finally made the tag to Bart! Bart ran through Jarrett with a head of steam, several clotheslines for "Double J", before following up with a big dropkick to the jaw for a near fall! Bart then ran Jarrett off of the ropes and nailed him with a hip toss, just for another two-count. Bart soon resumed the attack on Jarrett, as Douglas attempted to intervene, just for Billy to take Douglas out with a big back body drop over the top rope! Billy and Bart got into position, connected on Jarrett with the back suplex/neckbreaker combination on Jarrett, hooking the leg but for a two count! Billy and Bart realised that they needed to do more to harm "Double J" and keep the country music star down; planning to nail Jarrett with the Sidewinder! Bart got Jarrett up for the sidewalk slam, as Billy got onto the second rope; but Douglas returned to the match, Agent Dean with a chopblock for Bart Gunn! Dean then clotheslined Billy off of the top rope whilst Jarrett stomped away at the left knee of Bart Gunn! Both of the Gunns began to be isolated, Billy with a bad shoulder and now Bart with a bad leg - Jarrett and Douglas utilizing their smartness and in-ring generalship as a great tag team, Jarrett and Douglas continually working away at the knee of Bart, as Billy tried to get the tag! Bart struggled as Jarrett strutted for the Figure-Four Leglock - but Bart kicked Jarrett in the rear, sending Jarrett down to the floor, through the ropes! The fans cheered, as Bart then had to try and crawl over to Billy, and he got it just as Jarrett almost got a hold of Bart's foot! Billy got into the ring and nailed Jarrett with numerous lefts, Gunn then connecting with a big powerslam, covering Jarrett for two, before Billy started to feel the effects of the shoulder injury worked over early on in the match-up, allowing Dean Douglas to return to the match, Douglas attempting to go for the Fisherman Suplex, but Billy reversed it into a suplex of his own! Billy struggled to continue, as Billy tried to trade blows with Jarrett, when suddenly Douglas chop blocked Billy Gunn! Gunn went down, as Jeff Jarrett quickly applied the Figure-Four Leglock - and Dean went up, connecting with a diving elbow, driving the elbow right into the bad shoulder of Billy Gunn! Gunn screamed in pain, and Jarrett and Douglas retained the titles via submission! WWF Tag Team Champions "Double J" Jeff Jarrett and Agent Dean Douglas def. The Smoking Gunns [14:12] ***
The crowd booed as Agent Dean Douglas rolled out of the ring, as did "Double J" Jeff Jarrett, and out at ringside, the two teammates strutted around individual sides of the ring, before high fiving each other! Jeff Jarrett and Dean Douglas had done it again, as referee Jack Doan handed the country singer and his agent their well-earned WWF Tag Team Championships, Jarrett and Douglas getting their hands raised in victory to loud boos from the Louisville Gardens' crowd. Jarrett and Douglas began to leave, as Bart meanwhile re-entered the ring to attend to the visibly hurt Billy Gunn, whose shoulder injury had seemingly worsened throughout the duration of this match, Vince McMahon talking about the effort and sacrifice that the Smoking Gunns gave it in this match, all in an attempt to regain the WWF Tag Team Championships. | 00:53 | 8 | Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler then changed topic to discuss a disturbance backstage, as cameras cut to the backstage corridors, where Razor Ramon and Goldust were still exchanging blows, the "Bizarre One" trying to hide away from the "Bad Guy", but the fiery Ramon was still not sick of the man in gold, Ramon sending Goldust into a wall before Goldust suddenly low blowed Razor! Ramon dropped down to his knees on the floor, as Goldust managed to get away! "The King" told Goldust to run for the hills, as Razor attempted to regain his composure. | 00:54 | 9 | Meanwhile, Dok Hendrix was standing by with Yokozuna and Mr Fuji, as Hendrix wanted to get some comments from the 600-pounder, Hendrix talking about how this was a pay-per-view exclusive, the World Wrestling Federation always promising something for the fans when they order pay-per-view events, as tonight will be the first time in which anybody hears the 600-pound former sumo wrestler Yokozuna speak! Hendrix asked Yokozuna about his match tonight with the British Bulldog, and to also comment on his recent separation from Camp Cornette after a near three year long partnership with James E. Cornette. Yokozuna spoke fluent English, talking about how Cornette didn't want him to open his mouth, and he wanted him to be his stooge for so long - and when somebody else comes along, he doesn't want anything to do with the 600-pounder? Yokozuna spoke out about how he was intended to stand in the background and let other superstars win the Royal Rumble, or get ahead and win titles? Yokozuna talked about how tonight, he plans on getting revenge on Camp Cornette, for all they have done to Yokozuna and Mr Fuji, BANZAI~! | 00:55 | 10 | Yokozuna (w/Mr Fuji) vs The British Bulldog (w/James E. Cornette and Clarence Mason) [+00:02 for entrances; +00:03 for aftermath] The British Bulldog has had it out for the 600-pound Yokozuna in recent weeks, as Yokozuna started to apparently disobey James E. Cornette's requirements and orders within Camp Cornette: at the Royal Rumble, Yokozuna attacked his fellow teammates in the free-for-all Royal Rumble match, including the British Bulldog, Owen Hart and Cornette's new 450-pound client, the man they call Vader. But since then, Yokozuna has inadvertently taken out Bulldog; including on Monday Night RAW, where Yokozuna was disciplined for accidentally splashing Bulldog in an attack intended for "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel. Tired of this, Yokozuna walked out on the Bulldog two weeks ago on RAW, leading to Bulldog vowing to make Yokozuna pay for what he's done to Camp Cornette. The British Bulldog sounded strong prior to this match, but going into this one against the angry 600-pounder, after a lock-up in which Yokozuna easily overpowered the extremely strong Bulldog, the smaller competitor decided to hide from Yokozuna! Yokozuna was all about getting revenge on his former teammate, Bulldog meanwhile attempting a hit-and-run strategy on Yokozuna. Mr Fuji watched on in the Japanese man's corner, whilst James E. Cornette and Clarence Mason stood in the opposite corner, Fuji glaring at his former colleagues in Camp Cornette. Yokozuna soon began to rough-house the British Bulldog, pounding into Bulldog in the corner, before even trying to splash Bulldog much like several weeks ago on RAW - how this feud all started! But Bulldog managed to move, and the British Bulldog began to beat down on the much larger opponent. Bulldog got a little overconfident in his efforts, as Bulldog chopped away at Yokozuna, trying to take down the ankle of the 600-pounder. Bulldog wanted to put Yokozuna down, and it almost worked, as Bulldog soon attempted a body slam - but Yokozuna's weight was too much, Yokozuna covering for a very close fall! Bulldog tried to breathe for oxygen, when Yokozuna attempted to go after Bulldog again with a sit-down splash, Bulldog luckily managing to dodge Yokozuna's again! Bulldog moved slowly after the 600 pound weight dropped onto his chest and stomach moments ago, Bulldog with a second chop block to Yokozuna! The former WWF Champion was stomped away at by Bulldog, as Jim Cornette screamed for Bulldog to put the "fat son of a gun" away! Bulldog soon after picked Yokozuna up, and he actually managed to body slam him! Bulldog covered Yokozuna, but the former two-time WWF Champion powered out of it with ease! Bulldog was shocked, as was Clarence Mason and Cornette; as Bulldog was getting frustrated, wanting to put away the big man! Bulldog then decided to try and body slam Yokozuna again, but the third attempt was reversed, and Yokozuna nailed Bulldog with a belly-to-back suplex! Bulldog was down and out, and that's when Yokozuna dragged Bulldog to the corner for the Banzai Drop! Yokozuna got up to the second rope - but that's when Clarence Mason got onto the apron, distracting referee Timmy White! Meanwhile, James E. Cornette shoved down Mr Fuji at ringside, also distracting Yokozuna! Cornette went to swing for his ex-client with the tennis racket - but Yokozuna caught Cornette's hand and tried to swing for him! Unfortunately, Yokozuna was too late, and the Bulldog managed to drag Yokozuna off of the second rope, covering Yokozuna, and Bulldog had stolen it! The British Bulldog def. Yokozuna [06:24] *1/2
Louisville booed loudly, as the British Bulldog was aided out of the ring by James E. Cornette, Clarence Mason then appearing with Cornette and Bulldog, the three embracing in a hug, as the Bulldog had gotten the job done and gained a measure of retribution from Camp Cornette against the 600-pound Yokozuna! Yokozuna was stirring in the ring, as Mr Fuji recovered at ringside - but suddenly the man they call Vader came down to the aisleway, being followed by the police officers! The maniac under house arrest slid into the ring, as Vader suddenly ran Yokozuna over with a big shoulder tackle! Vader stood over Yokozuna before climbing up on the second rope, and coming off with a big splash from the second rope! Jerry Lawler coined it the "Vader Bomb", as the police officers then circled Vader! Vader had left a mark on Yokozuna, as James E. Cornette, British Bulldog and Clarence Mason applauded the newest addition to Camp Cornette for his attack on Yokozuna! Mr Fuji was left to aid to the former two-time WWF Champion, as Louisville booed Camp Cornette out of the building. | 01:06 | 11 | In the backstage corridor, we see "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel stretching in anticipation for this upcoming match, three months in the making for the World Wrestling Federation Championship. Todd Pettingill approached Diesel, asking for some comments before his WWF Championship match with Bret "Hitman" Hart. Diesel cut Todd off, talking about how it didn't care to him what he wanted to know: he's already made it very clear to everybody in the Louisville Gardens: that he should be the World Wrestling Federation Champion, and that nothing will stop him! Diesel reminds us once more of how Bret beat him for the WWF Championship at the Survivor Series, and how he doesn't deserve it at all! Diesel promised to put Bret out of his misery tonight, and after that, whether it be his best friend Shawn Michaels or Owen Hart, Diesel Power will walk right through them at WrestleMania XII! As far as the fans go, he doesn't care about any one of them, and he's thrilled about that, especially in Louisville, calling them a place for rednecks! Diesel marched off, seemingly confident for this match with the "Hitman". | 01:07 | 12 | Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler soon switched topics to the World Wrestling Federation Championship, as tonight, two men that has had it out for one another for numerous months will collide, and the winner will progress, and go on to defend the WWF Championship on the grandest stage of them all: WrestleMania XII. Todd Pettingill told the story of how "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel was the top dog in the WWF for an entire year, after defeating Bob Backlund on November 20, 1994, Diesel rose up the ranks and became the hero of many people, fans across the world paying tickets to see him, defeating superstars such as Shawn Michaels, "Sycho" Sid, King Mabel and the British Bulldog. His downfall, however, was when he stepped in the ring with Bret "Hitman" Hart at the Survivor Series of last year, losing the title, Bret had ended the year long reign of "Big Daddy Cool", and went on to defeat superstars such as Yokozuna, the British Bulldog and the Undertaker: meanwhile, Diesel walked around the locker room with a cloud over his head. Diesel turned his back on the fans and his friends after being denied of a rematch with the "Hitman", and losing the 1996 Royal Rumble. It was however Diesel that attacked Bret, not only during his match with the Undertaker, but also several weeks ago on RAW. Diesel is hungry to end this once and for all and regain the title, as he claimed Bret to be an unworthy holder of the WWF Championship. But tonight, Bret Hart will put that to the test! | 01:09 | 13 | WWF Championship - Bret "Hitman" Hart (c) vs "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel [+00:02 for entrances; +00:02 for aftermath] This one was three months in the making, as the "Hitman" Bret Hart won the World Wrestling Federation Championship 366 days into "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel's title reign, ending the beloved "Big Daddy Cool"s reign fair and square - at least from Bret and mostly everybody in the World Wrestling Federation's perspective. Diesel meanwhile felt that he had been robbed, and demanded a rematch numerous times - just to be denied time and time again. Bret and Diesel have met on three different occasions on pay-per-view in the past: Bret having lost to Diesel at both the 1994 King of the Ring, as well as the 1995 Royal Rumble - but Diesel ate defeat at the 1995 Survivor Series, and so Diesel had an advantage against the WWF Champion going into this one. Diesel seemed calm and confident, being booed by the capacity crowd in attendance, Diesel having turned his back on the fans in previous weeks - all for greed, and all because of his obsession with being the top dog in the World Wrestling Federation, and being the WWF Champion at that. Bret Hart got a big ovation coming down to the ring, as Bret seemed determined and motivated to make lightning strike twice, Hart and Diesel locking up, as Bret uncharacteristically began to lay into Diesel with numerous body shots to the abdomen of the seven-foot challenger, Bret attempting to chop down the big tree, and having to use agility in order to combat the massive man. Diesel however telegraphed Bret's approach, catching him with a big boot, as Diesel began to taunt to boos from the Louisville crowd. Diesel shouted at the fans by calling them "f*****g hicks", to which Vince McMahon did not think was appropriate. Bret resurfaced, as the two went to lock up once more, this time Diesel simply tossing the "Hitman" halfway across the ring! Bret needed to rethink his tactics, as Diesel's thrown turned to a smile, Diesel smirking at the seemingly concentrating "Hitman" on his knees on the canvas. Bret then went to lock up with Diesel a third time, this time outsmarting the challenger with a low dropkick to the legs, as Bret had Diesel down on one knee - the WWF Champion wisely capitalizing and going straight after Diesel, getting in all of the lefts and rights possible on the challenger! Diesel tried to pieface Bret away, just for Hart to come back once more, but as he did it a second time, Diesel caught the "Hitman" with a sidewalk slam, connecting with it for a near fall! Diesel picked Bret up and launched him off of the ropes, catching him with a second one, as "Big Daddy Cool" provoked the fans in Louisville to boo even louder than before, standing tall over the WWF Champion! Diesel didn't seem to want to wait around and wrestle for a long time with Bret, as he got Bret between his legs for the Jackknife Powerbomb - but Bret was too fresh, and ended up using some force to bring Diesel over the top rope - as well as himself - with a big hurricanrana-style move! Bret was back on the offence, as he fired down with punches on Diesel, these two rivals definitely wanting to end this once and for all tonight at In Your House, with the WWF Championship on the line. Bret soon picked Diesel up and somehow found the strength to get all three hundred pounds of Diesel up for an inverted atomic drop, the "Hitman" continuing with a big clothesline, which stunned Diesel and sent him rolling backwards over the steel steps to the floor! Bret wasn't about to let Diesel have too much time alone however, Hart climbing the steel steps and coming off with a big crossbody, taking down Diesel once more, as Bret was using his environment to exact the lack of size the champion had over his challenger. Bret continued the offense, before targeting the well documented leg of Diesel - which has been operated on before! Bret stomped away at it, to which Diesel tried to fight away from, soon kicking away Bret into the announce table spine-first! Diesel grabbed Bret by the hair - but the WWF Champion resiliently headbutted Diesel back! Bret chopped Diesel and nailed the challenger with numerous rights - just for Diesel to knee Bret in the gut, Diesel following up with a big haymaker to the side of the skull of Bret! Diesel continued the offense around ringside, as Bret was on all fours, Diesel deciding to follow up by dropping a big elbow over the spine of the "Hitman"! Diesel then grabbed a handful of the "Hitman"s hair and tossed him carelessly into the ring under the ropes, as Diesel rolled back inside after him, covering for a mere two count. Diesel continued the beatdown of Bret Hart, raining fists down into the skull of the champion, the more experienced Hart. Diesel desperately wanted to go on to WrestleMania XII and defend the WWF Championship against Owen Hart or Shawn Michaels, as Diesel was hyped for it. "Big Daddy Cool" soon got Bret over his shoulder in a fireman's carry, planting him face-first over the top turnbuckle pad, before following up with a big running boot to the face the WWF Champion! Diesel raised his fists to thunderous boos, as chants started, backing up the "Hitman". Bret was down and hurt, as Diesel soonafter cornered Bret and raised his big boot to the jaw and throat of the "Hitman", choking Bret out and weakening him whilst the fans booed, and Earl Hebner almost disqualified the aggressor, Diesel. Bret Hart fell to all fours, as Diesel wanted to end this match with the Jackknife Powerbomb - but much like the first effort, Diesel got Bret between his legs for it, prompting Bret to slip out of Diesel's knee grip and ram his shoulder into the bad kneecaps of the challenger! Diesel fell to his knees in pain, as Bret followed up with an Oklahoma roll - the pinning hold that he defeated the British Bulldog with at In Your House - but Diesel managed to kick out! Bret didn't let Diesel get any time to breathe however, as Diesel was still weak from the damage done to his knees in this match, whilst Bret went up to the second turnbuckle...coming off with a big elbow driven right into the back of Diesel's head as he got to his feet! Bret tried to turn Diesel to cover, but Diesel powered out at two. Bret continued to go after the legs of Diesel, wanting to put an end to Diesel for a future Sharpshooter, but suddenly Diesel soon caught Bret out of nowhere with a one-handed chokeslam, covering for a near fall! Diesel had almost done it, but needed more to put the twelve year veteran away, Diesel flicking his hair back and getting more irritated with the WWF Champion. Diesel wanted the belt badly, as he spontaneously decided to give Earl Hebner a big boot to the face! Diesel, forgetting the promise he made to Gorilla Monsoon over a month ago, was going to do all that it took to get the job done, and win the WWF Championship for a second time tonight. Diesel then left the ring and collected the WWF Championship from the timekeeper, Mark Yeaton, as he returned to the ring and attempted to slam the title belt into the head of Bret Hart, but Bret ducked and Diesel went into the turnbuckle! Bret slowly got up and went after Diesel, kicking away at the legs of "Big Daddy Cool", Diesel's jaw keeping him afloat over the top turnbuckle pad, as Bret stomped and pounded away at the back of the challenger's legs, further weakening down the challenger! Bret then decided to roll out of the ring, pulling Diesel to the canvas with him - and Bret pulled Diesel closer to the ring post, before slamming "Big Daddy Cool"s weakened legs around the ring post! Bret was about to do anything to get past Diesel, as he wanted to beat "Big Daddy Cool" decisively! Bret went to continue the attack on Diesel's lower body, but the leg strength of the lanky seven-footer pulled Bret face fist, head bouncing off of the ring post! Diesel then slowly slid out of the ring, limping around as he picked Bret up and gorilla pressed Hart over the guard rail chest-first, Diesel wanting to take the air out of the "Hitman", and this was made evident as Diesel then sent Bret sailing into the ring steps! Bret was hurting now, coming off of having three ribs broken by Yokozuna in December. Diesel then wanted to get things over and done with, as he got Bret inside of the ring, and set up for the Jackknife Powerbomb a fourth time - and it connected! Diesel could have had Bret beat, as the challenger licked his lips and covered the "Hitman"...but Earl Hebner was still out after the big boot from Diesel! Diesel's own anger led to his demise, as Diesel spotted Hebner out, and decided to take this time to grab the WWF Championship from the ring apron in the corner. Diesel had it in for Bret, as Hart slowly used the ropes to get to his feet, Diesel ready to take Bret's head off with a shot to the head, when suddenly the President of the World Wrestling Federation hit the ring! Mr Perfect arrived, sliding into the ring wearing a referee crap, Perfect snatching the title gold from Diesel! Diesel and Perfect exchanged words, as Diesel then decided to go for another Jackknife Powerbomb, but Bret cradled Diesel - Bret with a small package, much like he won the title from "Big Daddy Cool" at the Survivor Series - but Diesel kicked out barely! Everyone was in awe, as the fans in the Louisville Gardens were on their feet in anticipation, Bret and Diesel then slowly regaining their balance, as Diesel back elbowed Bret in the side of the head, Diesel going for another, but Bret caught it, and kicked Diesel in the bad knee! Bret then found a burst of energy, nailing Diesel with three chop blocks off of the ropes! Diesel was down to two knees, and that's when Bret decided to run off the ropes with another low dropkick for good measure! Bret soon picked up the legs of Diesel, and the Sharpshooter was applied! Diesel was in agony, and had to submit from the damage done to the seven-footer's legs! WWF Champion Bret "Hitman" Hart def. "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel [16:43] ***1/4
The fans exploded in Louisville, Kentucky, as Bret Hart collapsed to the canvas after a painful match with "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel, as the "Hitman" Bret Hart had put away Diesel once and for all - and in a decisive manner! The "Hitman" was helped to his feet by the President, Mr Perfect - the man that took over from Earl Hebner as the referee for this match, and Bret's hand was raised in victory by Perfect, who also presented Bret with his World Wrestling Federation Championship, fairly defended by the "Hitman"! Pyrotechnics went off in the rafters of the Louisville Gardens, as all 6,000 fans in attendance exploded with joy for the "Hitman", having finally defeated "Big Daddy Cool"! But now, Hart had to find out who was going to challenge him on the Superbowl of professional wrestling, WrestleMania XII! | 01:29 | 14 | Suddenly, the cameras returned to the backstage area in the Louisville Gardens once again, as this time Razor Ramon had attacked the "Bizarre One" in the parking garage! The "Bad Guy" wasn't happy with how Goldust had gotten away from him earlier on tonight, and so Razor Ramon was back on the attack of Goldust! Goldust then decided to nail Razor low, soonafter sending him into a wall! Ramon fell down to the floor, as Goldust followed up with several right hands, when the "Bad Guy" tried to fight back, dragged Goldust skull-first into the wall over him! Ramon stood up and shoved down several lead pipes placed next to Goldust, as Ramon then stomped away at the strange man in gold! Marlena's voice was heard from a distance, as she begged Razor to leave her man alone, but Razor simply walked Marlena away. Razor returned to Goldust, who clocked Ramon with one of the pipes! Ramon fell to the floor, as Goldust told Ramon that he wanted him so much, and he thought he was so tough, but that nobody was tougher than Goldust! Goldust's voice was much different than usual, talking with aggression, as Goldust then stood over Razor and pounded away at him, Goldust then standing tall over Ramon and stroking himself, Goldust then preparing to leave, but as Goldust began to head for the parking lot to leave, Razor came from behind! Ramon fired into Goldust as he held him against the hood of a car, Ramon ready to knock Goldust out, but the "Bizarre One" once again low blowed the "Bad Guy"! Suddenly, Marlena appeared in a car, Marlena shouting for Goldust to get in, as he ran over and jumped in the back, the getaway car driving away from the Louisville Gardens as Razor recovered and tried to chase it! | 01:32 | 15 | An advertisement aired, promoting the next pay-per-view extravaganza, WWF WrestleMania XII, live on pay-per-view on Sunday, March 31, 1996. | 01:33 | 16 | Vince McMahon soon shifted gears from disparaging comments about Goldust's cowardliness, talking about how it was about to get even more serious, especially since we now know that it will be the "Hitman" Bret Hart going to WrestleMania XII as the World Wrestling Federation Champion, but who will he be defending the title against? A video package aired, reviewing the personal rivalry between Shawn Michaels and Owen Hart, as 1995 proved to be an emotional rollercoaster ride for the "Heartbreak Kid", as he was unable to win the WWF Championship from "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel at WrestleMania XI; he was jumped by nine Navy thugs in Syracuse, New York, thus being forced to vacate the WWF Intercontinental Championship last October; and worst of all, he was nailed with an enzuigiri by Owen Hart, the "King of Harts" knocking Michaels out, and it was revealed that Michaels had suffered from a post-concussion syndrome. Owen bragged hard about how lethal his enzuigiri is, as Michaels stayed at home, his career potentially over, and his boyhood dream of winning the WWF Championship unfulfilled. But the "Heartbreak Kid" made a miraculous comeback, risking his career on his own, Michaels entered the 1996 Royal Rumble match, only to be screwed over by Camp Cornette, coming up as the runner up to Owen Hart. Owen was going to the Royal Rumble, but it was HBK who managed to change this, angering James E. Cornette enough to make his client Owen face Michaels at In Your House - with the shot at the WWF Championship at WrestleMania on the line! Owen showed uncharacteristic motivation in the following weeks, promising to end Michaels' career indefinitely this time inside of a fifteen-foot high steel cage: and Hart showed how much he wanted to go to WrestleMania himself and win the WWF Championship himself! Hart had the same dream as Michaels, winning the WWF Championship at WrestleMania. Tonight, one of these dreams will be broken, and one man will be left heartbroken, their career possibly broken. Their rivalry will be settled once and for all, and one man will go on to WrestleMania to potentially fulfill their dream, and challenge for the WWF Championship!
| 01:35 | 17 | Steel Cage - Winner goes to WrestleMania XII - "The King of Harts" Owen Hart vs "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels [+00:02 for entrances; +00:02 for aftermath] The rules to this match were simple: for one man to be victorious after managing to escape the cage and touch the floor, either via the door or via the roof. The "King of Harts" seemed extremely focused going into this match, as Hart had been waiting for this for numerous weeks, wanting to finish the job that he started on November 20, 1995, and that's end the career of the "Heartbreak Kid". Owen Hart, the Royal Rumble of 1996 was focused to end Michaels' career and go on to WrestleMania XII, in hopes of ending his brother Bret's reign as World Wrestling Federation Champion, and second of all proving himself as being the best wrestler in the Hart Family, becoming WWF Champion on the biggest event of the year. Owen Hart wasn't showing his keen smugness too excessively in this one, which made for yet another surprising change in the "King of Harts"' character. Additionally, there was no James E. Cornette at ringside, as Jerry "The King" Lawler tried to denounce Owen a changed man, wanting to become the "Best There Is, Was and Ever Will Be" so badly. Meanwhile, the theme of the "Heartbreak Kid" hitting the Louisville Gardens caught on like wildfire, and everybody in attendance went insane for the arrival of Shawn Michaels - the fans in Louisville were so excited that they managed to bring down one of the guard rails in the front row on the aisleway! Michaels was here to avenge an abysmal year in 1995, and start 1996 all over again, in desperation of fulfilling his boyhood dream, avoiding the career-ending concussion caused by the Navy thugs and the enzuigiri from Owen last November, and becoming the World Wrestling Federation Champion for a first time. Owen and Michaels didn't immediately get into things, either, which made for a strange start, as both men knew how much this win meant to both superstar, as it could make or break their careers, not winning tonight could send them off of the rails and in a downward spiral, only six weeks away from WrestleMania. Shawn and Owen locked up, as the two exchanged several technical wrestling holds and transitions, before Owen decided to swirl Michaels around from a waistlock, and slap the "Heartbreak Kid" right across the face! The true colors of the "King of Harts" were finally beginning to show, as Owen returned to his arrogant side, Hart taunting to the Louisville crowd. Michaels then got back up to lock up again, but the "Heartbreak Kid" this time caught Owen with a slap to the face! Michaels then immediately dug into Owen, covering him and pounding him numerous times, as Michaels was ready to let go of three months of frustration that the 1996 Royal Rumble winner caused him! Owen struggled to get Michaels off of him, as Owen finally did, trying to run across the ring and up to the top turnbuckle, just for Michaels to chase him and corner him! Michaels laid into Hart more in the corner, no disqualifications in this type of match, as Michaels stood on the middle turnbuckle for the ten punches, each of them raining down onto the head of the "King of Harts"! Michaels finished off with the bionic elbow from the second rope, before whipping Owen into the opposite corner, rebounding Hart right into the canvas face-first! Michaels had Louisville in the palms of his hands, as he was finally getting to lay the hurt on the man that took him out of action months ago! Jerry Lawler defended Owen, talking about how he's known him to be a future WWF Champion, and that he has Shawn Michaels beat! Michaels kept the pace quick, as Owen soon began to attempt a comeback, just for Michaels to come out on top after being whipped off the ropes, HBK coming back with a huge flying forearm! Michaels continued to drill down on Owen's head with fists, before getting up and strutting his stuff for the capacity crowd and women in attendance! Hart wasn't allowed to move, as Michaels continued to torment Hart, not allowing him to even try to think about getting out of the steel hell. Michaels hip tossed Owen, but Owen landed on his feet, flipping over, and that's when the momentum changed shape, as Owen drilled Michaels with a half-leg lariat to the face of Michaels! The crowd booed, as Owen then went to leave, before changing his mind after seeing the "Heartbreak Kid" stirring. Owen got on his knees and pounded away at Shawn, HBK struggling to regain that same fire he showed during the opening moments of this match, Owen seemingly having mastered the technique from his brother, Bret Hart; whom defeated him at SummerSlam 1994 inside of this same demonic structure. Owen soon dropped a jumping elbow into the heart of Michaels, the "King of Harts" continuing his offense on Michaels, wanting to put him away sooner rather than later. Hart then began to work over the spine of Michaels, perhaps as a hint to going for the Sharpshooter later on in the match, as Owen dropped several knees into the spine of Michaels: working down the back would torture the spinal cord of HBK, and slow him down whilst making an escape attempt. Owen then decided to go for the door, as he almost got there, but Michaels got to his feet and dragged Owen away! Michaels tried to regain momentum, but Hart managed to cut HBK's attempt at a comeback off right at the fences, as HBK attempted the belly-to-back suplex, just for Owen to reverse it right into belly-to-belly suplex of his own! Michaels went down, as Owen got back up and connected with a gutwrench suplex for Michaels, Owen continuing his strategy of grounding Michaels, as Hart stomped away at the spine of the "Heartbreak Kid", Owen then attempting to make a getaway again, this time up the cage, but HBK managed to bring Owen back down, Hart falling from the top rope to the canvas! Michaels then took Owen down with several right hands, Michaels chopping away at Hart as well, before the "Heartbreak Kid" attempted the body slam, Owen landing behind Michaels, Michaels reversing it and winding up behind Owen, before Michaels sent Owen face-first into the cage! Owen was dazed, as Michaels followed up with the inverted atomic drop! Owen clutched his groin, before Michaels followed up with the flying forearm, and HBK kipped up to the delight of everyone in Louisville! HBK was ready for more though, as Shawn nailed Owen with a dropkick before going for the door - but Owen realized immediately and dived for Michaels' foot, Michaels remaining stood up, as HBK caught Owen with an enzuigiri of his own! Hart went down, as Michaels then decided to escape the hard way, climbing up the ropes, and attempting to climb the frames of this sinister steel cage! Shawn got up to near the top, but that's when Owen suddenly got back to his feet and barged into the cage, rocking it, and Shawn was hung up to dry near the top of the cage, his knee hyper-extended on one of the bars! Owen followed up with a dropkick to the chest of Michaels, as Michaels' knee seemed to be in a really bad way as he hit the canvas hard! Shawn was down and suffering, as Owen decided to capitalize, Hart stomping away at it, and then positioning it on the bottom rope, as he splashed onto it several times to the pure agony on the face of the "Heartbreak Kid"! Owen then picked the legs up and teased the Sharpshooter, instead stomping him in the gut! The crowd booed, as Owen got a little overconfident, the "King of Harts" climbing up to the second rope in preparation for a diving elbow drop...and he began to rip off Michaels' patented diving elbow drop - it connecting! Hart got all excited, mocking the "Heartbreak Kid", as Michaels was down and hurt; Owen then deciding to go for the door, but the former WWF Tag Team Champion changed his mind, instead stamping his foot, almost like he was setting up for the Sweet Chin Music! Owen continued to stomp until Michaels hobbled to his feet using the ropes, but when Michaels turned, Owen went for the Sweet Chin Music, Michaels ducked it, and Shawn superkicked Owen instead! Owen went down, as Michaels collapsed as well, Michaels soon slowly crawling over to the door, as Owen still wasn't moving! Michaels got over to the door, when suddenly James E. Cornette ran down to ringside, slamming the door shut before HBK got a chance to get through it! Cornette received a great amount of boos, as Cornette talked trash to Shawn, Vince McMahon commenting on how Owen Hart was being the same old Owen Hart! Michaels looked angry, as he soon stood up, and blocked a dropkick from Owen, Michaels then connecting with a flapjack sending Owen right into the cage wall one more time! Michaels soonafter jumping off the ropes, connecting with a slingshot crossbody for Owen! Michaels rained down with punches on Owen, as both men continued to try and one-up the other, both men attempting to get the better of their adversary, before Owen caught Michaels off-guard with a northern lights suplex! Hart was fatigued, as he was in for the fight of his life tonight at In Your House with so much on the line. Hart soon went to the top rope, and tried to leave the cage, but Michaels once again got to his feet as Owen got to the top, Michaels bringing Hart back into the ring with a massive suplex from near the top of the cage! The fans erupted, as Cornette looked stressed out from ringside, Owen and Michaels motionless in the centre! The race was on again for the door, as Owen was closer, Cornette opening the door for Hart, trying to give Owen a big advantage, but Michaels latched onto his foot, and as Owen got to his feet, Hart took Michaels' head off with an enzuigiri! Both men were down again, as Owen nailed the dreaded enzuigiri out of desperation! Michaels was unconscious, and Owen was down and fatigued, not quite knowing where he was from that suplex! Vince McMahon expressed concern for Michaels, as Owen finally figured out where he was, trying to crawl to the corner once more, but Michaels had regained consciousness, and grabbed Owen's foot again! The fighting spirit in Michaels was too great for the "King of Harts", as Owen got to his feet, and went for the enzuigiri again, but Michaels ducked it, then trying to get out through the door - just for Cornette to close the door again! The crowd booed, as at that point numerous officials made their way out to the ring! They escorted Cornette to the back to the applause of the capacity crowd, as Michaels then decided to tune up the band, preparing for some Sweet Chin Music; Michaels still hobbling from the damage done to his knee earlier on; Owen bleeding from the hairline slightly, as he slowly got to his feet, and Michaels came at Owen with Sweet Chin Music, but Owen blocked it, taking Michaels down, and struggling to put on the Sharpshooter! Owen got it synced in, as Michaels was in pure agony over his knee and spine, Owen screaming out of applying pressure on the lower spine of the "Heartbreak Kid", McMahon believing that both men could be out of the hunt after this match! Michaels was positioned near the door though, and he began to crawl for the door, Owen soon realizing this and releasing the hold, trying to drag him back into the centre! The crowd booed, but Owen couldn't get it in good enough; Michaels kicking Hart off! Both men were hurting, as Michaels was working with a damaged knee and spine; Owen with a bad cut on his hairline, as blood was now pouring down his face! Hart and Michaels returned to the centre in the ring, trading blows, when Hart suddenly attempted the enzuigiri again, but Michaels turned him away, Owen walking into Sweet Chin Music! Michaels fell into the turnbuckle, as Owen was down and out in the centre! Michaels then began to climb the cage, Shawn climbing slowly, but Owen continued not to move an inch, seemingly unconscious in an ironic twist! Michaels reached the top of the cage, as he could have escaped - but he had a different plan...and with that, Michaels placed his hands high into the heavens of the Louisville Gardens, and came off the top of the cage, twelve feet high with a diving elbow, right into the heart of Owen Hart! The "Heartbreak Kid" had the fans exploding, begging for more, as Michaels then slowly crawled towards the door, and HBK dropped to the floor! Michaels was going to WrestleMania XII! "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels def. "The King of Harts" Owen Hart [18:42] ****1/2
The fans in Louisville exploded, as the "Heartbreak Kid" had done it, and he was going to WrestleMania XII in Anaheim, California to face Bret "Hitman" Hart for the WWF Championship! Vince McMahon talked about how historic this match was, as Michaels and Owen Hart gave it their all, they put their bodies on the line and their careers on the line, all in the name of fulfilling their dreams, and going to WrestleMania! Pyrotechnics went off, as Michaels was helped by Earl Hebner and Mike Chioda, both men helped the "Heartbreak Kid" stand, as Michaels posed for the fans on the aisleway, as the "King of Harts" remained unconscious on the canvas, James E. Cornette and Timmy White in there to attend to Owen, but the bigger story was that Michaels was going to meet Bret Hart for the World Wrestling Federation Championship at WrestleMania XII! WWF In Your House went off the air. | 01:59 |
| Dark Match - WWF Intercontinental Championship - Sean Waltman (w/Ted Dibiase) (c) vs Jake "The Snake Roberts (w/Revelations) [+00:02 for entrances; +00:01 for aftermath] Sean Waltman won the WWF Intercontinental Championship last month at the Royal Rumble from his ex-best friend, Razor Ramon; but tonight, Jake "The Snake" Roberts confronted Waltman with his title on the line. Roberts brought his pet anaconda, Revelations with him too, as Sean Waltman seemed quite fearsome of Roberts with Revelations in his corner. Jake Roberts managed to get the better of Waltman in the early goings of this match, as the veteran, Jake Roberts tried to set up the DDT on two occasions, both for Waltman to weasel out of and escape to the floor. Waltman and the "Million Dollar Man" talked at ringside about the strategy for this match, but Roberts was impatient, and so he decided to go out and try to get some of Waltman for himself, knocking the noggins of Waltman and Dibiase together! Roberts soon went for the DDT on Waltman again, but he slipped out of it and struck Roberts with a big spinning heel kick to the face, covering for a near fall. Roberts had the fans in Louisville behind him following the match, as Waltman had a chin lock on Jake the "Snake", before Jake fired out of it and took Waltman out with a clothesline! Waltman soonafter rolled out of the ring, and decided to leave with Dibiase and the WWF Intercontinental Championship! After the match, Jake celebrated with Revelations, but that's when "The Ringmaster" hit the ring, laying into Jake Roberts! Steve Austin stood tall over Roberts, and he did it for the Million Dollar Corporation! Jake "The Snake" Roberts def. Sean Waltman by count-out; Waltman retains the WWF Intercontinental Championship [06:11] |

| Dark Match - The Undertaker (w/Paul Bearer) vs "The Blue Blood" Hunter Hearst-Helmsley (w/Elizabeth Hilden) [+00:03 for entrances] The "Phenom" has recently had trouble with the mysterious man that attacked him at the Royal Rumble, but tonight he had another combatant to take his rage out on, and that combatant's name was Hunter Hearst Helmsley, the "Blue Blood" from Greenwich attempting to take down the "Deadman" in the early moments of this match, as as per usual, Helmsley was accompanied to the ring by a cute little valet known as Elizabeth Hilden, supposedly Helmsley's girlfriend. Helmsley managed to weaken the unique Undertaker, as he cornered him and laid into him, and nailed the Undertaker with a high knee, but Paul Bearer seemed slightly interested in Hilden, as he stalked Hilden around the ringside area, causing Hilden to hide up the aisleway. This distracted Helmsley a bit, but Hunter managed to keep focused, and he even managed to hit the Pedigree on the "Deadman"! Louisville was stunned, but Undertaker sat up almost immediately, and Helmsley was shocked! The "Blue Blood" soon went for another one, but the Undertaker reversed it, getting Helmsley up for the Tombstone Piledriver! The "Deadman" saluted Paul Bearer with his signature pose, bowing to the urn, as the show came to a close. The Undertaker def. "The Blue Blood" Hunter Hearst Helmsley [05:20] |

A write up for a dark match? Different, I will admit. Sid winning was cool. Wish the Bodydonnas would've won, but making the fans happy on the Free-4-All was good. Great opening video package, told a good story with it. Good choice for an opener, I was really looking forward to this. Excellent write up, awesome job. I wasn't a fan of the finish though with the sucker punch. Maybe a roll up with his feet on the ropes would've worked better. Maybe that's just me though. Anyway, can't wait to see where this goes next. Rematch at WrestleMania? As much as I preferred Mercy over Johnson, the right man won. I hope to see the streak end at WrestleMania though. So glad Jarrett & Douglas won, I really like them as a team. Nice to see the Razor/Goldust stuff still going on. Shocked that Bulldog won as I expected the newly face Yokozuna to win here. Interesting twist. Great WWF Title match, another tremendous write up. Bret retaining was for the best, but I see Diesel doing something of major importance at WrestleMania. Razor/Goldust in the Backlot Brawl at WrestleMania? Glad you chose to main event with the HBK/Owen match. Amazing match, loved the Cornette stuff, the Sweet Chin Music followed by the elbow. I wish Owen was going but HBK/Bret should be incredible. Solid two dark matches, good idea to have Waltman retain and to have Undertaker win and send the fans home happy. Overall, a very well booked, fantastically written PPV and I cannot wait for WrestleMania XII.

Personally, I thought a lot of the results were the right decision but there were a few areas that I disliked a great deal. It's a strong show, but the decision to have HBK go over is upsetting to me. I was really hoping that you would have done something different, but instead you just made one slight change to the way it was booked. So, that was really disappointing. I'd hope that Owen feuds with HBK once Michaels wins the belt, which I would imagine is the direction you're going here.

THE CHEAT SHEET Written by Marc Pearson on Monday, February 19, 1996
- WWF In Your House may have received numerous positive reviews from the dirtsheets, but the World Wrestling Federation has suffered from several setbacks because of it, as three injuries occurred last night. One of which were Billy Gunn, who suffered a neck injury during the WWF Tag Team Championship match between the Smoking Gunns & Jeff Jarrett and Dean Douglas. Billy landed on his head at one point, and the injury may be serious. We'll have an update hopefully next week. Additionally, Owen Hart suffered from a concussion during the steel cage match with Shawn Michaels, which could seriously jeopardise his position going into WrestleMania XII. Hopefully, Owen will be able to compete at WrestleMania, dependent on his mental health. Finally, Waylon Mercy was complaining of severe back pain after his defeat against Ahmed Johnson. At the age of 44, time could be up for Dan Spivey (Waylon). Hopefully however, this is not the case. We'll have an update next week.
- The World Wrestling Federation has released several superstars that have not been used in several weeks. Amongst these names are Bertha Faye, Rad Radford and Barry Horowitz. Faye hasn't been used since the Survivor Series, whereas Radford has not appeared since early January, after being discharged from the Bodydonnas. Barry Horowitz meanwhile was injured, and the two sides decided to part. Word has it that there are more releases on the way. Meanwhile, Kama has been moved down to the United States Wrestling Association roster, the WWF's developmental territory.
- Allegedly, Chris Benoit met with WWF officials several weeks ago, sources state. It was to discuss the terms and conditions of Benoit's future, as his contract is set to expire on March 1, 1996. It can be revealed however, that Benoit re-signed with WCW, and will remain with World Championship Wrestling for another year. Meanwhile, Eddie Guerrero is yet to re-sign a contract. His deal with WCW expires on April 1, 1996. In big news, Hulk Hogan from World Championship Wrestling has revealed that he would like to bring in Diesel from the World Wrestling Federation. Diesel's contract comes to an end on June 1, 1996, and if Eric Bischoff and WCW officials meet up with Diesel, then he could very well easily be jumping to WCW for more money and a guaranteed contract. No word on Razor Ramon potentially jumping ships after his contract expires on June 1, though.
- Johnny B. Badd has apparently left World Championship Wrestling. No word on what Marc Mero (B. Badd) will do from this point on, but if the World Wrestling Federation are still as interested as they were last summer, Mero could be taking a trip to New York in the near future.
- WWF Monday Night RAW this past week aired on 2/12/1996. In results from the show: - Shawn Michaels & Yokozuna vs The British Bulldog & Owen Hart; no contest. - Vader def. Hakushi. - Goldust def. Savio Vega.

In Your House feedback...
Overall I enjoyed the show you have every right to be proud of it, all matches read well enough and some of them probably read better then they would be in real life. Good show its up there with one of the better shows I have read on this site.
The only issue I have is Shawn Michaels situation...
For me if you knew HBK was going to Mania to face Bret you should have just had HBK win the Rumble because in my opinion you have done more harm than good with him not winning the Rumble.
First of all Owen won the Rumble clean, no tricks he deserves to be No.1 contender. HBK is not owed a shot at nothing and for him then just to talk himself into a No.1 contenders match is a touch cheap. HBK here looks like a whiny loser he lost fair and square there is nothing to different between his attitude and Diesel's and Diesel is turning into your top heel.
HBK beats Owen in a great cage match and now is going to Mania. I too was hoping HBK would lose, I thought it would go on last and that was a great call but I thought Diesel was going to cost HBK the match. You have a great backstory and would of been an extra Main Event at Mania. Now at Mania whoever Diesel faces it will not match up with HBK and it seems Owen is out of Mania completely.
Another side note is Bret didn't need to beat Diesel decisively it could of played into the Mania Main Event.
I decision changes everything. I am not saying it is the wrong decision or a bad decision I may be in the minority but for me once Owen won the Rumble in the fashion he did he should have gone on to WrestleMania.
Like I said the rest of your card was flawless the show flowed and I look forward to where you are going. HBK/Bret is going to be awesome and before the Rumble was the match that should headlined Mania. I think you may have to work a little harder now to make it as special as it would have been - Thumbs Up!

I enjoyed IYH. The undercard was booked well. The Ramon/Goldust feud is so heated right now. I hope we see a Backlot Brawl between them at WM. The two main events were really good. I liked Bret going over Diesel, but I thought there might be some controversy in the decision so that Diesel wouldnt lost a lot of momentum. Im interested to see what you do with him heading into Mania. HBK going over Owen was expected, but I hope Owen remains in the title picture somehow since he DID win the Rumble. Maybe a 3-way at WM? Or even a 4-Way with Diesel thrown in there too.

WWF Monday Night RAW - February 19, 1996 Cincinnati Gardens - Cincinnati, OH
Segment | Description | Timeline | 1 | We kicked off WWF Monday Night RAW tonight with stills from last night's WWF In Your House pay-per-view event, as Todd Pettingill narrated the great event, talking about how the main event was confirmed for WrestleMania XII on March 31st, as it will be the "Hitman" Bret Hart - who defeated longtime rival "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel last night to retain the World Wrestling Federation Championship once and for all - taking on the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels - who overcame the odds and defeated the man that almost retired him, the 1996 Royal Rumble winner, Owen Hart inside of a steel cage! However, the road to WrestleMania XII continues, with six weeks remaining before the biggest show in professional wrestling! The opening video package aired, before we cut to the live Cincinnati Gardens in Ohio for the fallout of In Your House! Vince McMahon, Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcomed us to Monday Night RAW, as they discussed In Your House last night, discussing what was coming up tonight in this exciting hour of live action from the World Wrestling Federation; as tonight, we will see the match that was supposed to happen last week, the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels teaming up with the 600-pound Yokozuna to take on the "King of Harts" Owen Hart and the British Bulldog, in a No-Disqualification match!; Plus, we catch up with the "Bad Guy" Razor Ramon after weeks of being stalked by the "Bizarre One" Goldust, and losing to Goldust last night at In Your House; Additionally, we will be joined by the WWF President Mr Perfect, who apparently has two big announcements for us; all of this, plus a lot more! | 00:03 | 2 | WWF Intercontinental Championship - Sean Waltman (w/Ted Dibiase) (c) def. Jake "The Snake" Roberts (w/Revelations) [07:11 - exceed a commercial break] [+00:02 for entrances; +00:01 for aftermath] Sean Waltman had to prove himself tonight on this live edition of Monday Night RAW, Waltman yet to make a defense of the WWF Intercontinental Championship he won over a month ago at the Royal Rumble - however tonight he defended against the veteran, Jake "The Snake" Roberts. Roberts had his pet snake Revelations in his corner as always, as Jake Roberts was focused to win his first championship in the World Wrestling Federation tonight against the Kid, but Sean Waltman was happy to simply dodge and avoid Revelations and the "Snake" out of fear of being covered by Jake's pet. Jerry Lawler joked about how pathetic Jake Roberts was on commentary, mentioning that Roberts debuted for the WWF ten years ago, and that he hasn't won a championship yet. Waltman tried to stall with Roberts, but when the two first locked up, Jake rough-housed the champion, delivering several haymakers and setting up for the legendary DDT, but Waltman managed to slip away from it. Roberts was growing sick and tired of it, and chased Waltman around the ring, and this led to Waltman spin kicking Jake's head off! Waltman covered, but the veteran showed resilience, Waltman deciding to work on the potential concussion he just gave the "Snake", to which the fans in Cincinnati didn't like, and thus cheered the challenger on - as Jake fired out of a sleeper hold, and managed to toss Waltman away before signalling for the DDT! But at that moment, the "Million Dollar Man" got on the apron, as Jake connected with it, Jake covering - but Ted Dibiase had the referee distracted! Suddenly, "The Ringmaster" Steve Austin slid into the ring, Austin delivering a flapjack on Roberts! Austin slid out of the ring and hid beside the ring apron, as Waltman put an arm over Roberts - and the Million Dollar Corporation stole it!
The crowd booed as the "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase cackled, joining Sean Waltman in the ring. "The Ringmaster" also joined Waltman and Dibiase in the ring, as these three men had collectively defeated Jake "The Snake" Roberts tonight on Monday Night RAW! The three posed, as Waltman was extremely lucky to be leaving RAW tonight as WWF Intercontinental Champion! | 00:13 | 3 | Vince McMahon and Jim Ross argued with Jerry "The King" Lawler about the concluding factor to what just transpired with the Million Dollar Corporation, and their cheating tactics that helped Sean Waltman retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship against Jake "The Snake" Roberts. Lawler denied it, calling Roberts past his prime and having a mid-life crisis, bringing him back to the World Wrestling Federation. They continued to discuss last night's In Your House pay-per-view event, talking about how tonight we were suffering from a few setbacks: particularly, Billy Gunn and the "King of Harts" Owen Hart reportedly, who were both injured in their matches last night. McMahon asked how this could jeopardize our No-Disqualification tag team main event tonight, before mentioning that we would be hearing from James E. Cornette and Camp Cornette after the commercial break. | 00:14 | 4 | An advertisement aired, promoting the WWF In Your House encore presentation tomorrow night.
| 00:15 | - | Commercial Break | 00:18 | 5 | We returned to Monday Night RAW to see Todd Pettingill stood with James E. Cornette, as Pettingill talked about Camp Cornette's success last night in taking down Yokozuna, and Bulldog even managing to slam and defeat the 600-pounder, before citing their faction's one downfall, where the "King of Harts" Owen Hart lost his opportunity to main event WrestleMania XII to Shawn Michaels inside of a steel cage. Cornette talked about how the "Heartbreak Kid" winning was a miscarriage of justice, and that Owen Hart is the hardest working man in the World Wrestling Federation today! Cornette alluded to Michaels, claiming that Owen takes no days off, before talking about how his legal guy Clarence Mason was looking for a loophole in the case, hoping to have something on the situation when Owen Hart is here next Monday night. Cornette then referred to Yokozuna, calling him a "hunk of junk", and that the British Bulldog beat him fair and square, just as Yokozuna deserved! Cornette then promise to do more to Yokozuna tonight, especially when the British Bulldog and Owen's substitute...the man they call Vader beat the heck out of Shawn Michaels and Yokozuna! The man they call Vader came into frame, accompanied by police officers, as Cornette called Vader a true mastodon, telling HBK and Yokozuna that Camp Cornette were after revenge tonight! | 00:19 | 6 | "The Pearl River Powerhouse" Ahmed Johnson def. "The Supreme Fighting Machine" Kama [04:24] [+00:02 for entrances; +00:01 for aftermath] Ahmed Johnson continued his undefeated streak last night, in which he defeated the "unique" Waylon Mercy at In Your House, but tonight he had to face a different foe, by the likes of the "Supreme Fighting Machine" Kama. Jim Ross revealed that Kama had separated himself from the Million Dollar Corporation in recent weeks, and wanted to try to go it alone in the World Wrestling Federation, and he showed highlights of potential in this match tonight, but the "Pearl River Powerhouse" had the Cincinnati crowd behind him, and all of the momentum in the world, as Johnson managed to stick through all of the punishment to Johnson from Kama's kicks; Ahmed soon catching Kama off-guard with a big spinebuster for the 280-pounder, as the "Pearl River Powerhouse" set up for it, and he connected with a big Pearl River Plunge for the victory!
The fans cheered, as Ahmed Johnson's hand was raised in victory, as Ahmed Johnson had once again gotten the job done tonight on Monday Night RAW, in defeating Johnson! Meanwhile, newcomer James Bradshaw, the "Outlaw" appeared in an insert promo with some comments for Johnson, as Bradshaw and Uncle Zebekiah talked about how they have seen Ahmed's work, and they are impressed. But Ahmed has never met a face like Bradshaw's before, and this is why he was going to get branded by the "Outlaw"! Zebekiah vowed that Bradshaw's time was yet to come, especially when he gets his hands on Ahmed Johnson! The competition just never stops for the "Pearl River Powerhouse". | 00:26 | 7 | In the backstage area, we saw the British Bulldog preparing for tonight's tag team encounter, but for whatever reason the Bulldog was not getting ready for tonight's No-Disqualification tag team bout with fellow Camp Cornette member Vader! Vince McMahon talked about the difference between the two men, but Jerry Lawler mentioned how that would not concern the Bulldog, nor would it Vader - they're just together tonight to dismantle the "Heartbreak Kid" and Yokozuna! From there, we cut to a shot of Razor Ramon walking down a hallway, and we were guaranteed to hear from the "Bad Guy" in just a few moments, when Jim Ross interviews Razor in the ring as RAW returns. | 00:27 | 7 | The WWF In Your House report aired, as Todd Pettingill welcomed us to the show, stood in the WWF media room in Greenwich, Connecticut. Pettingill talked about how big an event In Your House was, talking about the big events that occurred on the show, which is scheduled to re-air on the encore presentation on pay-per-view tomorrow night. Todd ran down the results from last night's extravaganza, as the WWF Tag Team Champions "Double J" Jeff Jarrett and Agent Dean Douglas managed to retain the titles against the former champions, the Smoking Gunns; a hard-fought match from Billy and Bart, but in the end, Jarrett and Douglas were victorious. Pettingill announced that Billy had injured his shoulder badly during that match, and so Billy would be out of action for quite a few weeks. Plus, the "Pearl River Powerhouse" Ahmed Johnson overcame the strange Waylon Mercy, in another notch on the growing belt of defeated opponents for Ahmed Johnson. In a strange scenario, the "Bad Guy" Razor Ramon was defeated by his stalker and admirer, the "Bizarre One" Goldust, as Goldust used some golden knuckles to defeat Razor - however that would not be the end of it for Razor that night, the two men brawling throughout the backstage area throughout the show, ending with Goldust making a getaway in his car, driven by so-called innocent Marlena. The WWF Championship was on the line as well, as Bret Hart finally managed to defeat long-time rival "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel to send the "Hitman" to WrestleMania XII, and eliminate Diesel from the World Wrestling Federation Championship picture!; But Bret also managed to find out whom he will be facing in Anaheim on March 31st...Shawn Michaels, as the "Heartbreak Kid" was victorious in a hard-fought battle with rival, the "King of Harts" Owen Hart, inside a steel-cage match! Owen was bleeding heavily during that match and suffered a concussion, whilst Michaels injured his left knee, talking about how brutal and historic a match it was. But now, can Shawn Michaels fulfill his boyhood dream, or will it be dashed? Pettingill signed us off for the WWF In Your House report. | 00:29 | - | Commercial Break | 00:32 | 8 | A video package aired, reviewing some of the best moments in WrestleMania history. WrestleMania XI last year from Hartford, Connecticut, where Lawrence Taylor defeated Bam Bam Bigelow in a lumberjack match, the NFL football player victorious against the "Beast From the East". | 00:33 | 9 | We returned to Monday Night RAW, as Jim Ross talked about how last night we saw the "Bad Guy" Razor Ramon snap, even more than he has done in the past, as Ramon finally got to get his hands on the man that cost him the WWF Intercontinental Championship, and made so many inappropriate advances on the former champion. Ross talked about how Goldust cheated to get the victory, using a pair of golden knuckles - which infuriated Ramon, prompting him to go after Goldust in the backstage area, Goldust later making a cheap getaway. Ross then introduced the "Bad Guy", as the man himself appeared to loud cheers, his theme playing through the Cincinnati Gardens. Ramon got into the ring as the fans continued to chant Razor's name, Ross wanting to hear what Ramon's emotions were right now after such a tense night at In Your House. Razor talked about how it's been a crazy, rage-filled twenty-four hours for the "Bad Guy", but that he's finally began to chill out. Razor talked about how angry he was that Goldust was stalking him, and some of the content that was in those letters - so inappropriate, not for the "Bad Guy" nor anybody to ever want to read! Ramon then talked about how Goldust made it especially personal when he tried to flirt with Razor in the ring, and especially when he cost him his WWF Intercontinental Championship shot at Sean Waltman - Razor talking about how excited he was to get his hands on Goldust last night...and then he cheated! So Ramon went after him, he kicked his ass! Razor talked about how he wanted more of the "Bizarre One", to which his answer was met, Goldust's voice being heard moments later, as the fans booed. Goldust shh'd Ramon, as he appeared on the aisleway by the stage, as always accompanied by a cigar-smoking Marlena, looking divine tonight. Goldust talked about how Razor continues to show that he's insecure about his feelings, and his emotions for Goldust, telling Ramon that he can have more. Goldust took a simple walk to the ringside area, as he climbed the steps, commenting on how Razor can try to deny it all he likes, but the fact remains: he will never forget the name of "Goldust"! Razor looked annoyed, as he went for Ramon, prompting Goldust to back away! Goldust turned his head to Ramon at ringside, taunting the fans, when Razor suddenly tried to grab Goldust's wig through the ropes, and Goldust turned back and cheap shotted Ramon between the eyes! Goldust revealed the golden knuckles once again, as the fans immediately booed, Goldust sliding into the ring and pounding into the skull and forehead of the "Bad Guy"! Goldust wouldn't stop as officials rushed to the ring, finally managing to get the strange and bizarre Goldust off of the "Bad Guy"! Goldust shouted that karma always did suck to Razor, as Marlena tried to calm down her man, the fans in Cincinnati not being able to believe what had just transpired. | 00:39 | 10 | Meanwhile, in the backstage area we caught up with the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, as Dok Hendrix caught up with the new number one contender to the World Wrestling Federation Championship in the backstage area, wanting to get his thoughts on what happened last night, and the challenge laid out for tonight against the man they call Vader and the British Bulldog! Shawn Michaels talked about how it feels great to be going on to WrestleMania XII, but that it's still a long way away. Michaels talked about how the "King of Harts" tried his hardest, but his best wasn't anywhere near the "Heartbreak Kid"! Shawn talked about how his boyhood dream is finally going to happen, and it's all a part of the rollercoaster ride! Michaels talked about how he's never matched up with Vader, but he knows the Bulldog very well - he won his first WWF Intercontinental Championship from the Bulldog! Michaels talked about how he was ready to brawl, he was ready to fight, and that he was ready to survive! Michaels seemed confident, moments before this No-Disqualification match! | 00:40 | - | Commercial Break | 00:41 | 11 | "The Blue Blood" Hunter Hearst Helmsley (w/Elizabeth Hilden) def. Hakushi [03:47] [+00:01 for Helmsley's entrance] The Greenwich native had began to bring a fancy-looking female to the ring with him in recent weeks, apparently by the name of Elizabeth Hilden, as Hunter Hearst Helmsley was ready for action tonight on RAW against the Japanese sensation, Hakushi. Hakushi tried to give it his all in this one, as meanwhile, Jerry "The King" Lawler used his journalistic skills to try and get to know Elizabeth Hilden better, Hilden positioned at ringside, right next to the announce table where Lawler, Vince McMahon and Jim Ross were sat doing commentary. Hakushi used some athletic moves, managing to lead Helmsley around the ring with a series of arm drags and kicks, both high and low, Hakushi immediately attempting the running senton on Hunter, but Helmsley managed to dodge it by rolling to the outside. Hakushi then attempted a plancha over the top rope - just for the ring savvy "Blue Blood" to dodge it, landing Hakushi on the floor! Helmsley dominated from this point, connecting with a high knee on Hakushi, and soonafter, the Pedigree put Hakushi away for three.
The crowd booed as Hunter Hearst Helmsley decided to curtsy for the booing fans in attendance, before inviting his beautiful valet, Elizabeth Hilden into the ring, assisting her by sitting on the middle rope. Helmsley raised Hilden's hand for the fans in attendance, a big grin on the face of Elizabeth, as the "Blue Blood" had seemingly bagged himself a treat in the likes of Hilden! | 00:45 | 12 | Vince McMahon suddenly skipped things along, as he talked about how apparently the President of the World Wrestling Federation had an announcement to make regarding the World Wrestling Federation Championship, as the camera cut to Mr Perfect, stood in the backstage area. Perfect thanked McMahon for announcing that he had an announcement to make, talking about how this is going to be ground-breaking. Perfect talked about how he has major obligations as the "Perfect" President of the World Wrestling Federation to make everything fair and make everyone content in the locker room. Perfect talked about how he's only been the President of the WWF for three weeks now, and he's already done numerous things: he's shackled Vader up in house arrest, he's made Bret Hart fight Diesel one last time for the WWF Championship at In Your House; and then made things right so that the right man won at In Your House, replacing the knocked out referee and declaring the "Hitman" WWF Champion. But tonight, he had two big announcements to make: firstly, that on April 7, 1996, the World Wrestling Federation will debut WWF Excess on the USA Network - sixty minutes of the most exciting, unpredictable action every week, and only on the USA! Perfect then talked about the second announcement, talking about how many superstars of the past have gone "down south", so to speak, but Perfect has been able to make contact with another superstar of the past, and they have signed the deal to make a return to the World Wrestling Federation at WrestleMania XII, that man being the former WWF Champion, the Ultimate Warrior! Vince McMahon was ecstatic about what the President of the World Wrestling Federation had just announced, as Perfect talked about how he'd have more announcements for WrestleMania in the upcoming weeks. | 00:46 | 13 | An advertisement aired, promoting the next pay-per-view extravaganza, WrestleMania XII, live on pay-per-view on Sunday, March 31, 1996. | 00:47 | 14 | Jim Ross and Vince McMahon talked about what was coming up next week on Monday Night RAW, as "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel will return to RAW to take on the undefeated "Pearl River Powerhouse" Ahmed Johnson, in Johnson's toughest match to date; Bret "Hitman" Hart will appear on RAW for the first time since before In Your House, the WWF Champion will meet his WrestleMania XII opponent the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels for the first time as our main event will be present, in one ring!; Plus, Bart Gunn teams up with the Godwinns to take on the WWF Tag Team Champions Jeff Jarrett and Agent Dean Douglas, and Skip of the Bodydonnas in six-man tag action! All of this, plus the "King of Harts" Owen Hart returns to RAW! A crammed show, live next Monday on the USA Network, from 9/8 CT! | 00:48 | 15 | No Disqualification - "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and Yokozuna (w/Mr Fuji) def. The British Bulldog and "The Mastodon" Vader (w/James E. Cornette and police officers) [08:29 - exceeded one commercial break] [+00:02 for entrances; +00:02 for aftermath] This match was attempted one week ago on Monday Night RAW, prior to WWF In Your House, where the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels was scheduled to meet with the 600 pound Yokozuna to take on their respective rivals going into In Your House, the "King of Harts" Owen Hart, and his brother-in-law, the British Bulldog. Unfortunately, Owen Hart was unable to make this match tonight after being injured last night at In Your House in the gruesome Steel Cage match with Shawn Michaels, and so this gave way for the intimidating man they call Vader, a man that James E. Cornette has described as being a "Mastodon" in recent weeks. Conspicuous by his absence was Clarence Mason, Camp Cornette's lawyer, who was currently looking for loopholes in order to grant Owen Hart his lost opportunity to go to WrestleMania XII and challenge for the WWF Championship - which Shawn Michaels won from Owen last night. Shawn Michaels wasn't so much wanting to strut tonight, going in there alongside Vader, and everything broke loose immediately, as Yokozuna traded blows with the other giant of the World Wrestling Federation, newcomer Vader, as both men refused to back down from one another! Shawn Michaels meanwhile traded blows with the British Bulldog, Michaels with a head of steam, as he shot off of the ropes and took Bulldog out with a big forearm smash! Shawn then teamed up with Yokozuna, as Vader was dazed in the corner, and the Japanese sumo launched Michaels right into Vader in the corner, gorilla pressing the "Heartbreak Kid" right on top of the Bulldog afterwards! Michaels and Yokozuna resumed the brawl, as Vader fired back at Yokozuna, and Bulldog managed to gain an opening against the number one contender to the WWF Championship, sending HBK through the ropes to the floor, as Vader used his bear-like hands to get the better of Yokozuna! Yokozuna was groggy from these stiff shots, Vader taking on the biggest WWF superstar in history, as Vader soon shoulder tackled Yokozuna down to the canvas! At that point, James E. Cornette revealed handcuffs, as he handcuffed the 600-pounder to the bottom rope! Yokozuna was defenseless, as the "Mastodon" fired away at Yokozuna to loud boos. Meanwhile, Shawn Michaels and the British Bulldog brawled at ringside, Michaels managing to switch a whip and send Bulldog into the steel steps, and that's when Michaels became braver, going up to the top rope and catching Vader with a missile dropkick to the side! Vader stumbled but remained on foot, before Shawn attempted to crossbody Vader, the 350+ pounder managing to catch Michaels and body slam him! Vader nailed Michaels with a splash, but Shawn managed to kick out - and Cornette was still loving it! Camp Cornette had the upper hand as Bulldog began to brutalize the "Heartbreak Kid", going after Michaels' bad knee, suffered last night against Owen Hart in the cage. Vader meanwhile choked Yokozuna out, and there were no disqualifications in place, and no mercy for the sumo! Mr Fuji soon had had enough however, as he went around to the handcuffs as Vader turned his attention to Michaels; Fuji clocking Jim Cornette! Fuji stole the keys to the handcuffs, and unlocked the groggy Yokozuna! Shawn Michaels was in danger as well, as Bulldog had dragged the "Heartbreak Kid" to the corner for Vader to nail the Vader Bomb from the second rope - but Yokozuna slowly got up, and ran behind Vader, clotheslining the seemingly invincible "Mastodon"! Vader tumbled over the top rope to the floor, and that's when Yokozuna caught a right hand from Bulldog and connected with the belly-to-back suplex to Bulldog! Yokozuna went up to the second rope, and came off with the Banzai Drop! Yokozuna and Michaels had done it.
The fans in Cincinnati went crazy as Yokozuna had done it, he'd gotten revenge on the British Bulldog and Camp Cornette, avenging his loss to the Bulldog last night at In Your House! Shawn Michaels got to his feet and jumped at Yokozuna, the "Heartbreak Kid" falling into the 600-pounder's arms in celebration, as referee Earl Hebner raised Yokozuna and Michaels' hands in victory. Mr Fuji climbed the ring steps to get inside and join them, when suddenly James E. Cornette tripped Fuji! The crowd booed, as Cornette grabbed Fuji by the collar and carted him up the aisle, as the British Bulldog followed! Vader was surrounded by police officers prohibiting him access to the ring to square off with Yokozuna; but the real story was that Shawn Michaels and Yokozuna had defeated Bulldog and Vader tonight, proving that Camp Cornette had its' cracks, and that the "Mastodon" was not invincible! Yokozuna wanted to get his manager Mr Fuji back, as he then began to follow Camp Cornette up the aisle! Monday Night RAW went off the air.

WWF Superstars - February 24, 1996 Huntington Civic Center - Huntington, WV
Segment | Description | Timeline | 1 | The opening video package for WWF Saturday Morning Superstars aired, before we cut to the Huntington Civic Center for the first edition of Superstars coming out of In Your House! Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcome us to the show, talking about some key events from WrestleMania XII, such as our confirmed main event for the World Wrestling Federation Championship between Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart; but also, Owen Hart and the "Heartbreak Kid"s historic Steel-Cage encounter, which could go down as one of the most brutal matches in WWF history. Ross and "King" then run through what is scheduled to happen during this hour of Superstars; as the WWF Tag Team Champions "Double J" Jeff Jarrett and Agent Dean Douglas, "Outlaw" James Bradshaw and Duke "The Dumpster" Droese are all scheduled for action; plus, the man they call Vader will make his in-ring debut on WWF Superstars, when he takes on the 300-pound Samoan, "Make A Difference" Fatu. Plus, Jim Ross is hoping to get an interview with James E. Cornette on what happened with Camp Cornette kidnapping Mr Fuji, Yokozuna's manager, this past Monday night on RAW! All this and more, scheduled for this hour! | 00:02 | 2 | The British Bulldog (w/Clarence Mason) def. Henry O. Godwinn (w/Phineas I. Godwinn and Hillbilly Jim) [06:34] [+00:02 for entrances; +00:01 for aftermath] It hasn't been a great week for the Godwinns in the World Wrestling Federation, as their efforts to defeat the Bodydonnas last Sunday on the Free 4-All before In Your House were thwarted by the interference from Sunny, Skip and Zip's manager. Tonight, however, Henry O. Godwinn had a big opportunity to potentially beat the man that defeated Yokozuna at In Your House, the British Bulldog. Bulldog seemed confident in this match, as he pounded away at Henry O. Godwinn in the early moments, Clarence Mason grinning on from the corner, much to Hillbilly Jim's chagrin. It was strange to not see James E. Cornette in Bulldog's corner, and that could have given Henry an advantage in this one; Jim Ross explaining that Cornette was awaiting his interview later on tonight, Jerry Lawler still over the moon about Camp Cornette kidnapping Mr Fuji last Monday night on RAW. Bulldog was unsuccessful on RAW this past week, and wanted to make up for his loss, powering Henry around; but Bulldog's gloating to the fans in Huntington led to Godwinn getting in a lot of offense, even managing to nail the Slop Drop at one point - just for Bulldog to position his foot on the bottom rope! Henry was ready for another one, but Clarence Mason distracted Henry, before Bulldog suddenly got the 280-pound country boy up with a huge stalling suplex! Bulldog was ready, as he then showed off more power, connecting with the Running Powerslam for the three!
The crowd booed, as the British Bulldog's arm was raised in victory, Clarence Mason being chased by Hillbilly Jim at ringside however. Jim and Phineas I. Godwinn aided to their fallen Godwinn family member, as Bulldog was joined by his manager and lawyer, Mason in the ring. At that moment, Dok Hendrix got into the ring for some post-match comments, as Hendrix wanted to know whether or not Mason had found a loophole and what that may be regarding Owen Hart's now former shot at the World Wrestling Federation Championship. Mason talked about how he's been reading through hundreds of documents, but that he wasn't ready to announce it in front of these idiotic fans! The crowd in Huntington booed louder, as Mason told Hendrix that he would release this information only when the time was right! Hendrix then asked Bulldog about his win, as Bulldog talked about how successful he was, and how he should be WWF Champion today! Bulldog called himself the strongest man in the World Wrestling Federation after slamming Yokozuna, before the Camp Cornette members left. | 00:11 | 3 | A replay aired from WWF Monday Night RAW, reviewing Mr Perfect's two ground-breaking announcements, that the World Wrestling Federation will be introducing a new TV show called "Excess" to their line-up every Sunday evening on the USA Network; but more importantly, that former WWF Champion the Ultimate Warrior will be returning from a four year hiatus to appear at WrestleMania XII! | 00:12 | - | Commercial Break | 00:17 | 4 | A video package aired, reviewing some of the best moments in history. WrestleMania XI last year from Hartford, Connecticut, where Lawrence Taylor defeated Bam Bam Bigelow in a lumberjack match, the NFL football player victorious against the "Beast From the East". | 00:18 | 5 |
WWF Women's Champion Alundra Blayze def. Jessica Rivera [03:24] [+00:01 for Blayze's entrance] Alundra Blayze made her first appearance this morning on WWF Superstars since the Royal Rumble last month, where she finally put away the fearsome All Japan Women's Pro Wrestling representative, Aja Kong. Blayze had had a rest since, and was back rearing to go up against Jessica Rivera, a young rookie upstart here in the World Wrestling Federation, as Rivera attempted to keep up with the more experienced WWF Women's Champion, Blayze managing to outwrestle Rivera at every turn, as Jerry Lawler asked why Sunny couldn't have a shot at the WWF Women's Champion, the "King" genuinely believing that Sunny would make for a much better champion, and because she's much hotter than Blayze. Blayze managed to put Rivera away quickly with the bridging German suplex.
The crowd cheered as Alundra Blayze's hand was raised after the bell, Alundra Blayze with yet another victory this morning on WWF Superstars, making a solid return to the World Wrestling Federation after a month's absence. Blayze celebrated with the WWF Women's Champion, as Jerry Lawler prayed for somebody to try and take that belt away from the two-time champion. Jim Ross jokingly suggested the Fabulous Moolah, to which "King" acted disgusted at the thought. | 00:22 | 6 | We go to Dok Hendrix in the WWF editing room for the WrestleMania report, as Hendrix promoted WWF WrestleMania XII as being live on pay-per-view on Sunday, March 31, emanating live from the Arrowhead Pond in beautiful Anaheim, California. Hendrix talked about how excited he is for the twelfth annual WrestleMania, calling it the biggest event in professional wrestling and sports entertainment history. Hendrix began to talk up what we have scheduled for WrestleMania XII so far, as Bret "Hitman" Hart defeated "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel last Sunday at In Your House to go on to WrestleMania to defend the WWF Championship against none other than the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels! Hendrix reviewed how Michaels defeated the initial WrestleMania challenger to the WWF Championship, Owen Hart last Sunday, in a hard-fought match of the year candidate Steel-Cage match, and these two outstanding athletes will now go on to the biggest show of the calendar year to face off for the WWF title. Dok showed the closing moments of the brutal Steel-Cage main event to WWF In Your House, before talking about there is a lot more to be announced in the coming weeks, informing us to stay tuned. Hendrix signed off. | 00:25 | 7 | "The Outlaw" James Bradshaw (w/Uncle Zebekiah) def. Derek Stone [02:58] [+00:01 for Bradshaw's entrance] James Bradshaw is yet to be challenged properly in the World Wrestling Federation, since making his debut on WWF Superstars several weeks ago. The undefeated "Outlaw" went into this one with the greatest of confidence, as Bradshaw seemed to outweigh and tower over his opponent this morning, Derek Stone; a local competitor in the area, in Huntington. Uncle Zebekiah rooted for Bradshaw throughout this one, however it's not that he needed to, the tough Texan from Houston simply toying with this young upstart. Bradshaw soon put Stone away with the Western Lariat, giving Bradshaw the victory. Meanwhile, Uncle Zebekiah and James Bradshaw appeared in an insert promo, wanting a "true" challenge from somebody in the World Wrestling Federation; claiming himself to be one of the toughest superstars to walk into the company. Zebekiah guaranteed that if nobody came looking for a fight with this tough Texan, then the "Outlaw" would come looking for them!
The crowd booed as James Bradshaw celebrated his win to boos, the "Outlaw" being joined in the ring by his manager, Uncle Zebekiah, who clapped Bradshaw for his efforts in this one-sided affair. Jim Ross talked about Bradshaw always being one of the toughest men to live in Texas, but questioning how Bradshaw may cope in the World Wrestling Federation against fellow WWF superstars. Jerry Lawler seemed certain that Bradshaw would be fine and win all of the gold in his stay. | 00:29 | - | Commercial Break | 00:34 | 8 | We returned to WWF Saturday Morning Superstars as Jim Ross was now stood in the ring, Ross ready to introduce his guest for this edition of Superstars, James E. Cornette! The crowd booed, as the leader of Camp Cornette made his way out to the ring, Cornette receiving a lot of heat for his performance in the past couple of days, trying to ruin Yokozuna's career and even end it, against Yokozuna; but also trying to cost Shawn Michaels the Steel-Cage match against Owen Hart last Sunday, the WrestleMania WWF Championship shot on the line. Ross talked about how trivial Cornette's doings have been in past weeks, months and even years, but this past couple of weeks have really brought out a more sinister approach to Jim's typically quirky antics, talking about the introduction of the "Mastodon" Vader; the attacks on WWF officials like Gorilla Monsoon; and last Monday night on RAW, even kidnapping longtime partner and manager of Yokozuna, Mr Fuji. Cornette interrupted Ross immediately off the bat, talking about how he may have been a little sinister lately, but at least Camp Cornette is getting their point across: that they run the World Wrestling Federation! Jim talked about Yokozuna, and how he was unloyal, and quite frankly, he was useless anyway! Hence why he hired the much more monstrous Vader, the beast from Japan; a man that he could lead Camp Cornette into 1996 with. Vader is their truly lethal weapon, and in 1996, Camp Cornette were going to climb to the top of the World Wrestling Federation, it's plain and simple! Ross then talked about how Mr Fuji hasn't been heard from since Monday night, when Cornette, Clarence Mason and the British Bulldog left with Fuji in their possession, and Ross wanted to know exactly where Fuji was. Cornette talked about how Fuji is being dealt with as we speak, and that we'd see him on Monday night on RAW, where Cornette will personally call Yokozuna out to the ring for a little discussion, and the whole of Camp Cornette will be there with Mr Fuji! The crowd booed, as Cornette seemingly planned to use Fuji as bait, Cornette talking about how he can't wait to get done with Fuji and Yokozuna, because together, Camp Cornette will rule the WWF united and strong! Ross thanked Cornette for his time, as Jim sarcastically said he loved Ross' journalistic work. | 00:37 | 9 | An advertisement aired, promoting WrestleMania XII, live on pay-per-view on Sunday, March 31, 1996. | 00:38 | 10 | WWF Tag Team Champions "Double J" Jeff Jarrett and Agent Dean Douglas def. AC Conner and Major Yates [03:42] [+00:01 for Jarrett and Douglas' entrance] It has been a good week for "Double J" Jeff Jarrett and Agent Dean Douglas after last Sunday's In Your House event, where Jarrett and Douglas finally disposed of the Smoking Gunns in their granted rematch after losing the WWF Tag Team Championships to Jarrett and Douglas, back at the Royal Rumble. During their In Your House match, however, they managed to get the job done, taking Billy Gunn out of action for six weeks with a shoulder injury. Meanwhile, this match with AC Conner and Major Yates was a warm-up for the WWF Tag Team Champions, two days ahead of their six-man tag team match with Bodydonna Skip on RAW, taking on the Godwinns and Bart Gunn. The country music star and his agent managed to make short work of Conner and Yates this morning on Superstars however, as Jarrett applied the Figure-Four Leglock, followed up with the Diving Elbow from Douglas for the victory. Meanwhile, the Bodydonnas of all people expressed interest in the WWF Tag Team Championships, as Sunny spoke on behalf of Skip and Zip, talking about her team of fitness fanatics were ready to prove their worth and challenge for the titles, really wanting to get their hands on some gold in the World Wrestling Federation!
Jeff Jarrett and Dean Douglas were on top of the moon recently, as the WWF Tag Team Champions strutted around the ring, declaring their egotism towards the Huntington crowd. Jim Ross expressed intrigue by Skip, Zip and Sunny's request to "Double J" and the Agent, stating that this young upstart combination of the Bodydonnas could be on their way to the WWF Tag Team Championship - stating that he doesn't even like the Bodydonnas, and yet he dislikes Jarrett and Douglas even more! | 00:42 | - | Commercial Break | 00:44 | 11 | Duke "The Dumpster" Droese def. Sherdell Taylor [02:17] [+00:01 for Droese's entrance; +00:01 for aftermath] The "Dumpster" has not been prominently featured in recent weeks, as Duke Droese went into this match against Sherdell Taylor, some weeks after coming up short to winning his first championship in the World Wrestling Federation, coming close but not close enough to Sean Waltman's WWF Intercontinental Championship. Droese dominated this match, as the blue collar worker for the council was on a roll in his day job, here on WWF Saturday Morning Superstars. Taylor attempted to put up a fight against Droese, but the garbage man was able to put Sherdell away with the Trash Compactor out of nowhere, giving the trash man the victory!
Duke Droese celebrated his win to cheers, as the fans enjoyed seeing the trash man in action tonight...but suddenly James Bradshaw came from out of nowhere with the Western Lariat! The "Outlaw" said earlier that he was going to search for competition if he didn't personally get any, and he had just planted a bulls eye on the back of the "Dumpster"! The fans in Huntington booed, as James Bradshaw was hungry and impatient, Bradshaw talking trash to the unconscious garbage man, as Uncle Zebekiah escorted Bradshaw out of the ring and towards the backstage area. | 00:47 | 12 | Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler talked about this busy hour of wrestling on WWF Superstars, Ross and the "King" then talking about what was still to come, as in moments we are to see the man they call Vader take on "Make A Difference" Fatu in our main event; a battle of the titans! Ross and Lawler then began to promote Monday Night RAW this week; a big episode in store: as we heard earlier on this morning on Superstars, James E. Cornette will bring Mr Fuji to RAW this Monday, and will apparently call Yokozuna out to the ring for a discussion - whilst Camp Cornette are in the ring!; Plus, "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel will return to RAW to take on the undefeated "Pearl River Powerhouse" Ahmed Johnson, in Johnson's toughest match to date; Bret "Hitman" Hart will appear on RAW for the first time since before In Your House, the WWF Champion will meet his WrestleMania XII opponent the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels for the first time as our main event will be present this Monday on RAW; Plus, Bart Gunn teams up with the Godwinns to take on the WWF Tag Team Champions Jeff Jarrett and Agent Dean Douglas, and Skip of the Bodydonnas in six-man tag action! All of this, plus the "King of Harts" Owen Hart returns to RAW! A crammed show, live this Monday on the USA Network, from 9/8 CT! | 00:48 | 13 | "The Mastodon" Vader (w/James E. Cornette and police officers) def. "Make A Difference" Fatu [07:12 - exceeded a commercial break] [+00:02 for entrances] This was perhaps Vader's biggest challenge to date, as the man they call Vader went into this one with James E. Cornette in his corner, Cornette having delivered some horrendous comments towards Yokozuna regarding the whereabouts of Mr Fuji after last Monday on RAW. Vader, as per was accompanied to the ring by police officers, who had started to handcuff Vader en route to the ring; Vader getting ready to tussle with the slightly smaller 350+ pound "Make A Difference" Fatu. Fatu slugged it out with Vader, as the two exchanged blows back and forth, both with some hard-hitting blows to the other man, but Fatu actually managed to hold his own in this one. Vader then appeared in an insert promo, the "Mastodon" speaking for the first time without James E. Cornette present, surrounded by his police officers; as Vader talked about how the fight was on, the invasion had started, and soon enough, it would be Vader Time for the World Wrestling Federation! Fatu stunned Vader with a big Samoan side kick, but Vader was able to keep in there, finally catching Fatu with a knockout blow, which sent Fatu groggy; lining the Samoan up for a shoulder tackle, knocking Fatu out of it! Hunter Hearst Helmsley appeared on the aisleway to observe, as Vader showboated to boos, before landing the Vader Bomb from the second rope, giving Vader the victory!
The crowd booed in Huntington, as the man they call Vader was victorious again! Vader wanted to follow up on attacking and assaulting "Make A Difference" Fatu, which grew bigger boos from the West Virginian crowd, when the police officers hit the ring and restrained the house-arrested "Mastodon". James E. Cornette raised Vader's shackled hands in victory, as Vader had been victorious tonight! "The Blue Blood" Hunter Hearst Helmsley laughed from the aisleway, as Vader had defeated Fatu, WWF Superstars going off the air. | 00:59 |

THE CHEAT SHEET Written by Marc Pearson on Monday, February 26, 1996
- Rumours persist that Razor Ramon and Diesel could possibly be leaving for World Championship Wrestling after WrestleMania XII. it is apparent that Ramon and Diesel's contracts expire on June 1, 1996, however this theory could be based off of a recent news article that WCW have been negotiating with Ramon and Diesel, and violating tampering laws in the process. Diesel is allegedly unhappy with his position in the World Wrestling Federation, and it has become known that Hulk Hogan would like to work an angle with Diesel; something that Diesel would most likely not pass up on. Ramon meanwhile remains a wild card for WCW, who continue to try and steal WWF talent.
- The Ultimate Warrior, as announced on Monday Night RAW, has indeed re-signed with the World Wrestling Federation. According to sources, the negotiation process began in December, with Jim Hellwig initially turning down the offer, as he wanted to wear a testosterone patch, to which Vince McMahon refused to allow. Rumour has it that McMahon wants Warrior to debut as a heel, as opposed to being a face, as he was classically known during his original tenure between 1987 and 1992.
- The World Wrestling Federation received a tape from Johnny Ace this past week, so sources state. Johnny Ace is a talent best known for his antics as the flag bearer for the Sheepherders, and later as the teammate of one Shane (now Dean Douglas) in the Dynamic Dudes in the National Wrestling Alliance), who is now affiliated with All Japan Pro Wrestling, where he competes as a regular foreigner. Ace sent in the tape of his five-star tag team match from Budokan Hall on 03/04/1995, where he and Steve Williams were defeated by Mitsuharu Misawa and Kenta Kobashi. Apparently, the WWF were impressed...with Steve Williams. No word yet on if they are contemplating getting into contact with Williams or not. Zero interest in Ace, on the other hand.
- In an update from last week, Billy Gunn, Owen Hart and Waylon Mercy were all injured at the WWF In Your House show eight days ago. Tonight, Owen Hart is scheduled to return on Monday Night RAW, but it is unknown in what capacity, as Hart suffered a torn groin and a mild concussion in the Steel Cage match with Shawn Michaels. Meanwhile, Billy Gunn will reportedly not require surgery, and will return to competition within the next month. Billy suffered a minor neck injury during the WWF Tag Team Championship match between the Smoking Gunns and Jeff Jarrett & Dean Douglas' match. Lastly, in tragic news, Waylon Mercy's career could potentially be brought to an end. After Mercy suffered a further spinal injury (after so many years of built up injuries in the ring) against Ahmed Johnson, doctors are now telling Dan Spivey (Mercy) that if he continues to wrestle, he could be forced into retirement.
- WWF Monday Night RAW this week scored a 2.8 rating the night after In Your House aired on pay-per-view. This was matched by WCW Monday Nitro, who responded with a 3.7 rating of their own. Still very tight competition from both promotions.
- The World Wrestling Federation came to terms of releasing Rhonda Sing (Bertha Faye) on Wednesday from her contract. The last time Bertha Faye appeared was at November's Survivor Series pay-per-view event.
- WWF Excess, as announced on Monday Night RAW this past week, will debut on Sunday, April 7, 1996 on the USA Network. The show is scheduled to air at 6PM CT, and it will most likely be used on a similar basis as Monday Night RAW is. Rumours are persistent that Excess will feature a RAW-esque format, featuring the top WWF talent, credible matches and very few squash matches. However, because of this, it could be that Excess is the company's backup plan if WCW Monday Nitro end up coming out on top against WWF Monday Night RAW in the ratings. Excess will air opposite WCW television show "The Main Event", on TBS.
- WWF Monday Night RAW this past week aired on 2/19/1996. In results from the show: - Shawn Michaels & Yokozuna def. Vader & The British Bulldog in a No-Disqualification match. - Hunter Hearst Helmsley def. Hakushi. - Ahmed Johnson def. Kama. - Sean Waltman def. Jake Roberts to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship.
- WCW Monday Nitro this past week aired on 2/19/1996. In results from the card: - Hulk Hogan def. Arn Anderson to retain the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. - Loch Ness def. Alex Wright. - The Nasty Boys def. The Public Enemy. - Ric Flair def. Randy Savage.
- WWF WrestleMania XII airs on pay-per-view on 03/31/1996. The current card for the show is as follows: - Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels for the WWF Championship. - The Undertaker vs Mick Foley. (spec.) - Goldust vs Razor Ramon in a Street Fight. (spec.) - Yokozuna vs Vader. (spec.) - Owen Hart vs Mr Perfect. (spec.) - Steve Austin vs Roddy Piper. (spec.) - Diesel vs Ahmed Johnson. (spec.) - Sean Waltman vs Jake Roberts for the WWF Intercontinental Championship. (spec.) - Hunter Hearst Helmsley vs Fatu. (spec.) - Alundra Blayze vs Rockin' Robin for the WWF Women's Championship. (spec.)
- WCW Uncensored airs on pay-per-view on 03/24/1996. The current card for the show is as follows: - Hulk Hogan vs Ric Flair in a Steel-Cage match. - Hulk Hogan vs Arn Anderson in a Steel-Cage match. - The Road Warriors vs Sting & Lex Luger for the WCW World Tag Team Championships in a Street Fight. - Randy Savage vs Chris Benoit in a Falls Count Anywhere match. - Konnan vs Eddie Guerrero for the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship. - The Giant vs Loch Ness. - Johnny B. Badd vs Diamond Dallas Page in an I Quit match for the WCW World Television Championship. (spec.) - Harlem Heat vs The Nasty Boys.
