No figure line is ever going to be perfect for everyone. Buy the things you want, leave the things you don't want. There are plenty of hardcore rings on eBay for people to buy if they want one.

Kane sells, he's a sure bet for Mattel. I agree though that too much of any wrestler is toxic to moving the figures at retail. Also, I really am okay with the pace of elites, battle packs, and basics.
The only thing that pisses me off is when say, Kmart gets a lion's share of an elite series and they don't evenly distribute so the stores 20 miles from me get replenishments and all the stores nearby have a worse wrestling figure section than a Rite Aid G** D*****. But that's not Mattel's fault.
