Here it is yet another Mattel paint screw up. I get it's not that bad but when you live half way across the world and pay 19.99 for a damn basic you expect a lot more. I don't see it, what "screw-up" am i seeing here Same, I don't see whats wrong here. Apart from the fact that there is a tiny and MINOR tattoo painted into the wrist tape. But honestly, if you're concerned about such a minor flaw, then your obsession needs fixing.

Nobody to blame but yourself then. Seriously, I examine figured while in package even if they're ordered from RSC or another online retailer before I open them. you should change your name to Mr Perfect. Forgot I have to examine packages from million dollar companies before I open them when I am paying for something with my hard earned money... Already taken

Like I said basics are 19.99 each here so the 'TINY' floor is enough to grind my gears and the fact I display my collection I dont want some half assed figure in the display. In reality does punks tattoos extend to his wraps? NOOOOO.

I think that figure isn't painted at that part because I think that the figure before it gets painted its color is like this.

I'd return it, too. Especially if the knee pads can't hide the marks. Almost looks like they bled into the plastic, you'll never get them out. Paint doesn't bleed into the plastic. A little acetone would have fixed this and he wouldn't have had to go to WM returning a toy because the paint wasn't good enough. You are wrong because I tried that and a few other things to get it off. I actually had a Jericho with paint on his leg and nail polish remover took it off in a second. Nothing would take those smudges off this figure. But hey, thanks for the positive feedback. I pay for these "toys" and have every right not to want paint smudges on my figure. I dont get some of you people.

I think a big problem a lot of us had with your first post is the "per usual" statement. Smudges like that are not usual for Mattel. In that case you were wrong. Take the figure back, and get a new one. Problem solved.

I have also received multiple elites with paint problems. Others on here have experienced it as well. I dont see why we have a discussion board if we cannot discuss, if the subject bothers someone or they find it negative then move on to the next without needing to post such negative comments. This is a discussion board and I dont see rules of what to post. I bought a figure it was messed up and I shared my experience.

I will get a pic up later of a MOC cena I own who's face is absolutely stuffed looks like he has down syndrome, Will be funny to here all the mattel fan boys explain that one. because this company makes how many of these mass produced toys? errors will happen.. they are TOYS... how many car recalls happen a year.. now ask yourself which item is more important. mass produced items will have flaws and mistakes.. and with communities like this, people reallllllly got torn up about it.. because instead of people posting about the new crisp well painted and awesomely molded figure they opened.. we see stuff like this day in and day out.. never really hear the good stories .. just the crapone...

I just got my Daniel Bryan Basic with the beard. It is flawless and instantly became one of my favorites.

Id love to see some people's reaction when they drop $30-$50 grand on a car and there's a flaw with it just 5 miles after the warranty expires!! LOL!

The dude has a right to post about it because it is a defect. I can understand the frustration but fortunately you can always return things.

It's hard to feel bad for the OP when a quick examination prior to buying the figure could have prevented this issue.

I was with my kid about to pick up my wife from work and I didnt happen to notice a few blue stains under and right above the kneepads. I dont stop and drool when I find a figure and inspect it inside and out. If your point is inspecting the package would of prevented this, well then someone else would be left with this figure and be stuck with it or returned it as well.

I dont get some of you people. I didn't mean paint. I suspect it was the kneepads. I'm no plastics expert but I think sometimes different types of plastics react when they're in contact with each other or maybe there was something in that plastic mix. I've had some figures packed away for storage only to find marks on them that weren't there before. It's not paint rubs. I've removed plenty of paint with acetone but that didn't look like surface paint on Punk's leg.
