Is anyone going to either of these in August? I'm going to the JR Glasgow date & have a meet & greet ticket purchased, couldn't pass this opportunity up. Right now I have no JR merch & will likely get him to sign my Stone Cold Truth book since he co wrote it with Austin, or I might end up getting his cookbook online.
Should be getting my Fozzy ticket tomorrow too, will be my 4th Fozzy gig, I really need to do VIP & meet Jericho next time around.
Should be a fun couple of events, usually I never have any summer events to attend & all I really look forward to is the PPVs.

Definitely recommend Fozzy VIP, the band are friendly and talk enough but saying that, I found Jericho a bit reserved and he wasn't so willing to talk about Wrestling, not that I was attempting to really. Just the topic got bought up when the other band members asked if I attended WrestleMania 29 and when I said yes, they were really excited but Jericho blew it off!

Of course Jericho will blow it off, he's not there for wrestling. He got upset when we chanted "YES! YES! YES' and 'Y2J' at their Download Festival gig last year.
I never mentioned wrestling when I met him in 2005 at the signing and I'm off to see his show in Newcastle this year, my second Fozzy gig.

Just found it a little disheartening that he was so cold about it because I wasn't the one who bought it up. Still he was cool enough about other things, though at times, felt like I was in the middle of a Fozzy private dinner rather than an actual VIP dinner with them. Suppose it depends on what type of day they are having really! Their show was awesome of course! (Stoke in May), only took me so long to see them as I always seemed to have prior engagements that stopped me from attending their shows.

In my opinion, if Jericho doesn't expect fans to talk about wrestling when they meet him, whether its a fozzy VIP or not, then he's deluded.

I heard about the DDP thing, see how I am for cash in 2 weeks & if there's still tickets available then I may end up going, hoping to get an Alter Bridge ticket at the end of the month also.

J.R. and Fozzy should team up and do a mixed event, ending the night with Ross and Jericho doing a duet.
