It would of been cool with the variation if they had given him blue entrance gear or swapped out the guitar and put in a IC Belt.

I'm yet to see a corrected one pop up on Ebay, i'm abit concerned. When should the next wave of E21 hit? Hahahahaha!!! I don't know the future, but I don't mind gloating.... even if it's a little early to assume! I told everyone!! #FACE!!  sorry that Mattel let you down again..... I really didn't believe that the changes would happen. But, I said it wasn't a cost-cutting move for Mattel, hence no variant! I'm beginning to think you're right. Yesterday my Target had a new case, today I saw new cases at two different Walmart. In less than 4 weeks someone is going to find E22. BTW, one of my Walmarts has E21 Rey x 8. Every time I go to that store they add 2 more Reys since my last visit. |

Your going to see it, but probably through a online retailer, unless your store gets another case of them in down the road like some stores do.

How long did it take for the Elite 20 Christians with translucent glasses, and Cenas with corrected jeans and larger MITB logos? What was different about the jeans ? I have both versions (small and large MITB logos) but the jeans look the same to me. Am I missing something ? |

Ive got this figure loose and keep seeing it at the same Target still. Trying to decide whether or not its worth buying again to keep MOC for resale down tge road. You guys think it will have much value in the future like some of the older flashbacks?

If MDT said they were doing it why wouldnt it happen? They have lied to us before. Haha! Think about it like this. Yes, E20 Cody Rhodes & E19 Christian got variants. Cody got smaller knee pads Christian got lightly tinted glasses. These were cost CUTTING variants. Even at pennies on a dollar.... Worldwide, saves hundreds to a few thousands. In the case of HTM... Thats a cost increase. They'd have to use serval colors on a figure packed .5 to a case. The effort to put into a figure made in low numbers won't yield a positive result. That is my arguement. Business is always business. Mattel is better off using their budget elsewhere on future elite sets, hopefully! Haha, I'm pretty sure, as most corporate businesses work. Any money left over in the yearly budget, gets divided among the suits in charge their team. Mattel is great at making wrestling figures, I'm happy with what's out and look forward to new releases. I wish a lot more time a effort is focused on playsets, elites, and basics.... I understand why rumblers are popular, but a lot to time, I get the feeling that they are throwing anything at the wall and seeing what sticks. We have plenty of dead lines like flex force (which I'm happy about), legends, defining moments, entrance greats... Instead of trying to re-invent retail line ups, I think time would be better spent committed to the proven line ups and even improving or retooling older ideas.... I'm sure that there is more public interest in Mattel wrestling figures now as opposed to 2010. I would be as bold to say that there is over a 50% increase in customer base since then. Hence, all the hot garbage at retail.... I mean Dollar General has they own brand now! Laugh now, but G.I. Joe, Batman, power Ranger, etc has their own brand as well. |
