I had the same problem with my molds I now put them in plastic ziplock and label the plastic ziplock Do you use a pressure chamber to get rid air bubbles in cast and molds Great work Thanks Mase. I never thought to put them in a ziplock. Thats a great idea. I cant tell you how many molds I threw out just because I couldnt tell who they were without casting them. I do use a pressure pot. But the funny part is it just took.a crapon me the other night.while making an RVD Mattel sized head. It started leaking on me. I was going to go pick up a new one this weekend |

I bought my original one online at a place called Allumilite. Not sure if the spelling is right. I think it was $200. I just found one at Harbor Freight for $99. I hope.that helps

I made my pressure pot with a pressure cooker and bicycle gauge for less than $40. It's lasted 5+ years so far with no signs of slowing down. I found directions on the internet, give 'em a look. Sometimes leaks can be fixed just by wiping the sealing rubber o-ring with a wash cloth.
