I like the gokarts They had some Treasure Hunt cars, like a Ford Wrecker that would have Daytona International Speedway on them, they are quite rare and since they are a Treasure Hunt car, they command a lot of money They also made these Luxury Rides I guess Mattel was trying to branch out with their NASCAR line like Ertl did with the Racing Champions line, when they made Hot Rods back in 1998. Mattel also made a Hot Wheels NASCAR playset that included a Kyle Petty car

That is one drawback from them. They do take up a lot of space

After that I collected those guys plus Team Red Bull. I have close to 200 1:24 Action die casts. It sickens me to think that I spent $60 on them and they are worth so little. Nowadays I buy about 1 die cast per year at most and it's always a special Harvick car.

My coworker's been trying to unload all his old 1/24s he and his wife bought from QVC back when it was popular there on me and, though I'd love to, I wouldn't want to "insult" him by throwing out an offer that'd basically be pennies on the dollar for all of them.

I hate when things like that come up. While you don't wanna be ripped off or over pay you feel pay bc you know him and feel like you wanna be fair and not lowball regardless of what the market is

Tell them you've got a friend on a message board that would be interested in them. Play "middle man" ask for pics etc to show the guy. Then have your online friend come up with an offer to ask him say $75...if they guy is like "oh yea deal" then you get the cars and if he's like "oh man screw that guy" you dont lose any relationships and you can both bash this online loser who lowballs people.

QVC is overpriced in general

Oh, man. I loved For Race Fans Only when I was younger. But remember- When they're gone, they're gone. $20 a pop is a fair price for them, although no one would be happy with that offer. Exact reason I still have an entire closet full of them at my parents house. Nothing retains value when there's 75,000 or more produced. Hell, even the ones produced nowadays that are less than 3,000 made are half price after the season is over.

My 3 new 1:24 adds from eBay. 2014 was a great year for diecasts in NASCAR. Really cool raced wins, and alot of obscure teams getting made.
