Last diecast I picked up was some 1/24 Father's Day tony Stewart. Trying to get he whole set. 1/24 are so damn cheap it's hard to pass them up I know, I wish I had more room. I briefly considered selling some of my figures to make room but that'd be dumb lol I have 2 24 car cases and that's it but more cars that don't fit in them. I just keep them in boxes now. It sucks though.

Picked up the '15 Harvick Jimmy Johns car as well as the '15 Kurt Busch car. I like this paint scheme for Kurt much better then last year. Its also a much nicer diecast since they had to paint it and not use those crappy decals that look like they're about to fall off. Here's my Stewart-Haas Collection so far....

Your case looks awesome. I would love to have something like that to put my Harvick raced version cars in. I should have the homestead car within the next couple of weeks.

Do you have a Hobby Lobby around you? The case is just a simple acrylic case they sell for 1/64 scale semi/haulers. Its only about $12. I picked it up and then went to their craft section and found some checkered paper and taped it to the bottom. The mirror thing comes with the case...its suppose to go on the bottom but I trimmed it and put it on the side.

That's cheap as hell too.

That's cheap as hell too. yea they have them in different sizes too. There was one there I saw today that held 6 1/64 scale cars. You just put them in and then closed a lid and hung it on a wall. Only $12. Looked pretty cool but Id had to have more then 1 and didnt want to spend the money. They also have some displays that look like garage lifts. You can stack the lifts and then put the cars on the lifts. They were pretty sweet! I'll probably go back and get a few sets of those. All of it was in the model car aisle

Wonder if that has anything to do with the factories as well.

Wonder if that has anything to do with the factories as well. Kurt's car this year doesn't have the matte finish it did last year. They try to represent that on the diecasts, like the MWR Aaron's cars in 2012/2013

Ive got a '14 Joey Logano (dont ask me why) and its not nearly as shiny as Kurt's '15 car

What does everyone collect? A certain year? Driver? Number? Ive always been a 1/64 scale guy going all the way back to buying a Country Time Lemonade Michael Waltrip car with rubber wheels on it from Sky City (my first ever race car). Right now Im mainly just getting certain paint schemes that I like from Stewart Haas Racing with a few scattered 1/64's that I like (such has Austin Dillon's Cheerios car) Im suppose to be going to my parents house later today. If I remember Ill run downstairs and dig out my Tony Stewart collection and might bring it home with me. Ill take pics of some of my other 1/64 there as well but Ill leave them packed away at their house.

I'm a huge collector of 1/64 scale from 2007 till now of the cot cars. My biggest collection of drivers are between Dale Earnhardt Jr, Kasey Kahne, and Kyle Busch. Unfortunately I don't have any displayed right now due to the fact that I don't have the room to put up my display shelf.

What does everyone collect? A certain year? Driver? Number? Until 3 years ago I collected EVERYTHING Robby Gordon, Kevin Harvick, AJ Allmendinger, Scott Speed, and Brian Vickers. Nowadays I pick and choose, but it's almost all 1:64 scale stuff.
