My latest 1:64 trade acquistion: 2008 Jason Leffler. It was hard to find before and now that he's dead it's impossible.

Just scored these 2 off of eBay. I'm so happy. I can't wait to get them.

Not too keen on the opening hood, but it's still beautiful. Those were some quality diecast though. I miss the nice 1/64 cars.

The paint is driving me nuts, but I'll figure out how to see all the colors someday. You're right, the quality is spectacular on both it and the Batman/Joker cars. The dogecar is nice, too, but the decals 'n such seem so much cleaner on the '98 cars. I need to find my Winner's Circle/Racing Champions stuff from around the same time and see if I appreciate them more now that I've seen what the usual fare is these days.

Do you remember the "total concept" action 1/64 cars that had the detachable bodies? I loved those when I was younger.

Hate them because you can't use them for animation without the body looking wonky

Great deal on that Allmendinger, I had to pay $30+ for mine, and the box was crap I got one off of eBay a few years ago and it was loose and also the roof number was all screwed up and they tried adding a sealer to it so it wouldn't chip off and it made the windows all foggy.

Reeeally hoping for a raced version of Kyle's car at Sonoma. I mean, Lionel/Action has brought us a car with one shredded tire, why not up the ante with two?

Anyone know of any hard to find 1/64 either Winged COTs, pre-COT NNS, or trucks I could use for my eventual stop motions? I'm trying to get lists of rare ones that I can try to find cheap either off eBay or at the Daytona Flea Market.

I was looking at him. I feel really bad that I can't afford all the cars that I want. I have like 47 sitting there. I'll probably end up ordering a few promos and the Red Bull cars.
