There was a mistake on their website and the 2015 1:24s were ringing up as $0.00, you just had to pay for shipping. A bunch of friends in our Facebook sim racing group found it. Interstate changed it back to $49.99, so they must be Gold Series or something, but we'll see if we actually get something in a week or so. Interstate Batteries Diecast LinkI ordered a camo hat from them about 2 years ago. I got it in time but they never gave me a proper tracking number. Never again.

I have to say that I'm deeply disappointed at what I purchased today. I got some Nascar diecast cars from target. They were on clearance for 1.69 down from 4.99 or 5.99, I cant remember exactly how much the original price was. I was disappointed when I opened the car for my son. I was pretty much holding a Hotwheels car. The body was metal, but the chassis was plastic and it had plastic wheels, just like Hotwheels. For an original retail price of around 5 dollars at the very least I expected an all metal car with rubber tires.

They haven't had metal chassis since like 1995 and haven't had rubber tires since 2006. The $5.99 you pay at retail is better than paying $8.99 at a race. The reason for the price hike is for licensing costs.

You'll never see a $2.99 price tag again besides sale prices. Licensing fees are way too high for costs to be that low. There are hundreds of sponsors in NASCAR that they need to get licensed for them to be on the diecasts. We've come a long way from this to this

My parents (and my dad still has them today) owned these 3 giant entertainment center pieces. They're like 15ft long all together. That was my back stretch for my race track. I would bang my cars up against it and my parents would get pissed cause obviously I could dent/scratch their $1000 entertainment center. So one Christmas I got something that had like 1-2 inch styrofoam in it. I put that between the cars & the entertainment center and thus safer barriers were born. Man I ed up!

The reason for the price hike is for licensing costs. I bet Disney wants more money for licensing rights than any Nascar Sponsor. And yet you can go buy Star Wars themed cars, you can buy Cars themed cars, and so on for less than the Nascar cars. Look at the Cars franchise and line of cars. Thos cars are usually twice the size of a nascar diecast piece, and yet they cost 1 or 2 dollars less. I just think what they charge for 1 Nascar car at regular price is insane. As far as a car costing 8.99 at a race that isnt bad, I know Monster Jam wants 10 dollars per truck at live events. I wonder if WWE sells figures at live events, and for how much.

More proof Earnhardt fans will buy anything- his RAIN SHORTENED Phoenix raced win, with virtually no race markings other than small things.

Meanwhile, I'm still sitting over here waiting on my Martinsville Gordon car.

My new adds for January - Carl Edwards 2011 Las Vegas Win Kyle Busch 2015 Brickyard Win Kyle Busch 2015 Loudon Win ---- Kyle came to my local short track to race his Super Late Model and sign some autographs so I got Darlington '08/Dover '08 and Vegas/Bristol '09 win die-casts signed. I've now got all the '08 win die-casts signed and now can work on finishing '09 (Richmond/Homestead NNS). Game plan is to have my entire win collection signed.

No they refunded the shipping money. Some people got it, but a lot of people were refunded.
