Back in June UPS had a free diecast giveaway and they just came. They were just 2013 UPS Edwards cars but I'll still be able to use it for the upcoming stop motion. Was that at The UPS store? No it was on NASCAR.com. There was a banner to click on.

It isn't the best picture since I was attempt to get everything into this one photo but here's my "Wall of Rowdy" in my office/sim racing room.
Top Shelf: 2005 Charlotte Win (Truck) 2005 Fontana Win (Cup) [First Win] 2008 Atlanta Win (Cup) 2008 Talladega Win (Cup) 2008 Darlington Win (Cup) 2008 Dover Win (Cup) 2008 Daytona Win (Cup) [Signed]
Second Shelf: 2009 Richmond Win (Cup) 2009 Las Vegas Win (Cup) 2011 Bristol Win (Cup) 2011 Richmond Win (Cup) 2012 Daytona Shootout Win (Cup) 2011 Bristol Win (Nationwide) [Record Breaking 50th Win]
Third Shelf: 2009 Combos (Cup) 2009 Halloween (Cup) [Signed] 2009 Snickers (Cup) [Signed] 2013 Monster Energy (Nationwide) 2012 Monster Energy (Nationwide) 2012 Kurt Busch Richmond Win (Nationwide) 2013 Toyota Care (Truck) 2011 Dollar General (Truck) [Signed]
I'm currently working on completing the Action Boxed 1:64 from 2008-2013. I've got a few on the way (most of 2011, 2008 Halloween, & 2009 Susan G BCA) which will bring the number down to only needing eight cars to complete the 2008-2013 collection, then I'll start working on some of his Hendrick 1/64. I also have his 2013 Texas Win on Pre-Order which is shipping sometime in December.
This isn't including my non-Kyle Busch (or KBM) cars.

Anyone have any of the Talladega Nights cars? I know they made them in 1:64 and 1:24. Hot Wheels is releasing a Stroker Ace Chicken Pit Thunderbird stocker as part of their retro entertainment line if anyone is interested in them. Anyone have any of the Haulers?

I had the 5 car 1:64 set (Wonder, Old Spice, Perrier, Laughing Clown and ME) back when the movie came out but I sold it to a friend for $30. I still have a Wonder and Laughing Clown but they're in pretty rough shape since they were my brothers. Never had the 1:24s. I've only seen the Laughing Clown haulers but it holds no interest to me. That Stroker Ace car is nice though, I've been debating buying it since it's warming at Gordmans and Walmart.

I'm not a huge collector, but I have ~40 of the 1/64th scale diecasts from about 5 years ago. I got 7 of the 1/48th scale cars and liked them better but it seems like they don't make that scale anymore. I never got any of the 1/24th scale because they were too expensive.

Turns out Lionel is pumping these out quicker than expected, even Diecast Cars Now took down most of the pre-orders on their website. The problem with this though is the prototypes they've shown have the wrap peeling off and bubbling on the cars. Hopefully this isn't a sign of things to come this year or I won't be ordering many diecasts. Example Pic below. They raised 1:64 prices a dollar and we're getting shoddier and shoddier product. This is BS.

Are the inside of the cars going to be black this year? I believe so, or at least most of them will.

I am starting to get back into this a little bit. I only have Dale Earhnardt Sr. cars. I have about 25 1/24 scale cars. I had more but sold some, so I am needing to buy them back. The market is $hit for them though. They won't be too hard to replace.
I have mostly Action a few Revells in there, a couple of Sports Image which is sorta Action or either they had rights to Earnhardt merch or something at one point. I don't know. A couple of Winners Circle which need to be upgraded such as the 2000 Taz car. It used to be expensive to get an Action one, not so much now.
I have to re-buy the 2000 Peter Max All star car too. I sold that one for $100+ but can be replaced for $40 or so. I sold some other old ones like his Pink K2 first race car and some other crap before he was with Wrangler/Goodwrench. I have every special scheme except the Max car, Goodwrench old Monte Carlos, Luminas, newer MCs, Old Wrangler Cars, etc.
Haven't kept up with it, had to read what the deal is now. I have some made by Motorsports Authentics or something like that. Found out that was Action and Team Caliber combined. Now I guess Lionel bought out Action I guess.

In 2005 NASCAR bought Action and Team Caliber, and made Motorsports Authentics. (Chase Authentics was merged with MA in the deal and Hot Wheels and Ertl/Racing Champions contracts ran out after the 2005 season, and were not renewed by NASCAR) The Team Caliber molds and Action molds were both used by Motorsports Authentics for a season or two until MA dropped the Team Caliber molds. In 2007 the original owner of Team Caliber bought the Team Caliber molds and created Checkered Flag Sports, and they made some licensed NASCAR diecasts until 2011, when they couldn't secure any team contracts. Now they make special event diecasts. Motorsports Authentics were close to bankruptcy so they sold the company to Lionel. So really only Lionel runs the NASCAR diecast market now. They do a decent job but since they went to a 100% wrap job on their diecasts I haven't really bought much.

Started to get back into diecast this year and will stick to just 1/64 and see what they look like and decide to keep going. I'll prob keep them inside the box anyway. Picked up the first set that is released for the year in all three kasey kahnes and Austin Dillon.

Keep an eye out at your Walmarts. The 2014 Spinmasters are out! Of course the dippys at mine decided to not only clearance out the 2012 Unites cars finally, but they also clearanced out the brand new 2014s lmao. I picked up almost the entire 1st wave for $3.50 each! The 1st wave is: 1987 Earnhardt Wrangler (NASCAR Icons) 2013 Johnson Build and Grow (NASCAR Kids) 2013 Johnson Daytona 500 win (Race Winners) 2014 Bowyer Peak (Hard Racers) 2014 Harvick Outback (Hard Racers) 2014 Danica Godaddy (Future Stars) 2014 Stewart Bass Pro Shops (Hard Racers) I'm guessing that there will be more to the NASCAR Icons, and hopefully it's not all Dale Senior. No offense to him, but I want a Petty and Pearson, since Spinmaster has rights to both teams. I've gotten the question "Is there any race markings on the race win diecast" quite a few times. There are no race markings on it. There's a slight smudge on the nose of mine, but it looks to be factory error.

I always order all of my diecast in august. I am a 1 64 collector so i make one big order. Never a fan of lionel nor spinmaster distribution, odd release dates etc... Maybe they will prove me wrong this year. Cool gets, btw what does the Harvick car have on it?

I never saw the 2013 set last year with Bobby Labonte and Trevor Bayne.
