Saw the preview last night. Flair seems like to be living up to his character, spending that cash money. Looks good. Think it airs tomorrow

I'm hoping this isn't the train-wreck it probably should be... but I'll watch anyway.

My thoughts on the program....
-Piper's a bad actor... he's one of my favorite wrestlers, but how the heck has he been in movies? His over-the-top expressions are just so unrealistic... you could tell he was trying to play up the "cranky old-homebody" but I just didn't really buy it...
-Flair just never learns.... I'm glad they addressed his reckless spending habits and even seemed to touch a nerve - it was a touching moment when Piper said "I'm worried about you." I'm worried about Ric, too....
-Speaking of bad acting - Flair in the grocery store was just dumb. Why would they put a ridiculous fake mustache on him that looked like it was made of construction paper - but then have the cameras just following him around, so he'd draw just as much (if not more) attention to himself.... that was just dumb.
-What in the hell happened to Beth Flair? She looked like a bigger mess than Ric Flair - and you could tell they heavily edited the conversation between her and Kitty Piper - they just kept showing Beth making strange faces but saying nothing - I got the strong impression that Beth Flair showed up to this taping drunk. *Just My Opinion based on the way this was presented... So sad, what happened to these people...
-Colt (Piper's son) looks promising - I wonder if he has aspirations to join WWE at some point down the road? I definitely see shades of Roddy in him, and I'd like to see it... as long as he keeps his head on straight.
-Overall, it was enjoyable (if not a little sad) to watch - I'm glad they addressed Ric's careless spending habits and desparate cries for attention... Kitty Piper seemed like a truly good woman an a great wife and mother - Wendy "Fifi" strikes me as a bit of a gold-digger just using Flair to get attention (via this program). I wonder what happened with the father(s) of her kids... It really boggles my mind that Ric Flair continues to live the same lifestyle that has repeatedly brought him so many problems... there's absolutely no reason that someone with his financial history should be buying lavish jewelry at this point.
I'm not sure I like seeing shows like this - I enjoy wrestling because I like the characters, the larger than life storylines, etc. I don't necessarily like seeing the real-life problems that these guys have behind-the-scenes... but I'm a true Ric Flair fan (forever) and had to watch it...
I just wish he could settle down and work for WWE like some of the other legends, like Steamboat, Slaughter, etc.... but unfortunately I don't think he can focus on a day-to-day job that doesn't involve all the extra-curricular stuff.

I really envy you guys getting to see this. Im in the UK and cant get it. No point bashing Flair on his spending habits, hes 64 and in crap loads of debt so hes not going to change now and why should he? the damage is done. Interesting hearing about Beth Flair didnt know she had problems as well.

I DVR'd it a couple weeks in advance, just so I wouldn't miss it. Two-out-of-three of my boyhood heroes. One bit I found especially funny was the temper tantrum promo Flair cut about "having to buy ham" at the grocery store.

It was so obviously staged and over the top like most of these shows are but it was entertaining. I agree about Colt Toombs. Would definitely like to see more of his MMA/wrestling. Hopefully he can make it to WWE or TNA one day.

Colt is a great kid with a good head on his shoulders. I've talked with him a few times. From what I've see of "Portland Wrestling Un-cut". He's doing well. That's heavy baggage to carry having a father like Roddy. Just ask Flairs kids and Dustys and Dibiases and Mr. Perfects and Snukas, but don't ask Bob Orton.

MY biggest question of all was: HOW the hell is Flair still paying for all this stuff?!?! he has several lawsuits against him, he owes the IRS millions, and yet he still lives the high-flying millionaire lifestyle, and peels off $100 bills like sticks of gum.

I wouldnt believe everything you read about Flairs debts. Yes he owes crap loads but i think some of it has been exaggerated or some has been paid off. The bottom line is, you dont live like he does if you have no money.

I loved the show. It honestly was more interesting then Raw has been all year long. If they could do a reality show where Flair and Piper had to consistently go out of their element...It would be quite hilarious. His fit saying, "Ham...I bought Ham...I dont even like Ham!!" was hilarious!!

Watched it last night on Youtube, Flair and his spending And his current partner(and future 5th ex wife?) struck me as a spoiled gold digger, holy . Really enjoyed it overall, Flair incognito was hilarious, was cool to see into both of their lives. Flair seems to be stuck in a mid life crisis that he's been in for 10 years.

The bottom line is, you dont live like he does if you have no money. I don't know if that's right. There are plenty of people who live the rich life even though they can't afford it. They just go deeper and deeper in debt. If this really was Ric Flair's behavior and not just played up for TV, it's pretty upsetting. I'm really not sure how money works in our society these days - it feels like all over the world people spend more than they make and want more than they have. Flair has been living the high-life for so long he's just out of control. I wonder if the IRS watched this episode?
