So Money In The Bank is coming up and in recent years it has just grew bigger and bigger, it has become one of the biggest, most hyped PPV of the year and it always seems to deliver. Definitely one of the staples of the WWE calendar.
Tbh I think the big 4 are now Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, Money In The Bank and Summerslam.
Survivor Series, nowhere near means anything like it used to years back, the main focus used to be on the big Survivor Series matches, there used to be 3/4+ on a card, now we're lucky to even get one. So yeah I think Survivor Series has definitely fell down the ranks in recent years. MITB has definitely become the bigger PPV imo

I've been thinking this for a while, especially since Survivor Series is meaning less and less by the year. There's certainly a much greater sense of consequence with MITB.

I hope not it isn't even a good name for a PPV. The whole Money in the bank contract thing should be scrapped because the likes of Edge and, Ziggler and Bryan didn't win their first title fairly in a proper match.

No way. The big 4 should always be Rumble, Mania, Summerslam, and Survivor Series. If anything Money in the Bank is the new King of the Ring..

I don't think so. It was cool when it was first invented because it was a new concept. But now the fact that you know whoever wins MITB is going to become Champion, it takes a lot of the unpredictability out of it. The only thing left up to chance is where and when...but you know damn well they are winning the belt.
Except for Cena cashing in and losing at RAW 1000, the only person who cashed in differently was RVD who cashed in at ECW One Night Stand. Everyone else just comes out and vultures a Title win off a downed Champion....it's getting VERY old.

I don't know. In 2011, Survivor Series felt like a Big 4 again because of The Rock's first match in like 7 years at the time. The 2012 one was meh, but at least it had a 5 vs. 5 Elimination Match.
And on top of that, the 2012 MITB PPV wasn't too special. 2010 and 2011 were great though. This one seems good on paper. So maybe MITB is more like KOTR (in more ways than 1 in this case, because the winner of the Gimmick match is guaranteed a Title Shot just like how KOTR was most of the time, and because it has a good gimmick to it, that people anticipate all year).

Not at all...That's like saying the Cotton Bowl is bigger then the Rose Bowl cause its in a new fancy huge stadium...The Rose Bowl still has tradition and a long legacy...Just like Survivor Series.
I do think MITB has became the 5th big even though, like King of the Ring once was.

Bragging Rights was perfect for replacing Survivor Series [which should of happened since the Draft] I've always love MitB. The name should be Fully Loaded though  But yeah, I feel it should be apart of the big 4, since it puts a lot of change in the WWE, not just for the event itself but for a career...well 2 careers now - which we follow till the big cash in. |

I think Night of Champions should become a "Big 4"-esque PPV before MITB. I totally came in here to say this. Didn't like the fact that all titles were on the line on Payback, though. That kind of takes away from Night of Champions. |

I wholeheartedly agree. Money In The Bank's perception has changed so much since 2011 (and not just because of Cena vs. Punk). The PPV itself was great, as well as the year before. The thing is, MITB gets better each year while Survivor Series is slowly becoming just another PPV.

I think it is one of the best pay-per-views of the year, but there really isn't a way to replace the big four pay-per-views based on tradition.

Didn't win their.......dude, that's the whole point of Money In The Bank. Striking at the best opportunity possible. Edge became "The Ultimate Opportunist" because he knew how to seize each opportunity he got whenever he got it. Ziggler and Bryan both used opportunity as well, which is what the briefcase encourages. Other than Cena and RVD, the briefcase was used off of opportunity and "cashing in" off of opportunity. |

it's usually my most hyped PPV after Wrestlemania and Royal Rumble.
There's just so much at stake given the premise. of course Cena winning last year was a bummer.
