Take pieces of thin yarn cut a bit longer than the kickpads and use a small rubber band to hold them tightly in place around the knee joint. If you position it right, the kneepads will cover the rubber band and the end pieces of the yarn.

i just used cotton, and just used a tiny rubber band to hold into place.

I made some out of felt today and they are perfect. I used blu tack to hold them on.

Just check out the tassles on the Ultimate Warrior figure, it provides a pretty good template. That's where I got the idea to make mine.

take some leather, and cut it to look like ultimate warriors, then either superglue, hotglue or use rubberbands to hold it in place
