Despite being the most important figure in the history of WWE, Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon has yet to be enshrined in the WWE Hall of Fame. Triple H addressed the topic in a Twitter post today. A user asked, "Of all the people who are in the HOF how come vincemcmahon isn't in there??" He responded, "Cause he won't let us put him in." ----------------------- I really want Vince to go in before he kicks the bucket, his induction/speech would be a must watch for every wrestling fan. Weird that he doesn't want to go in but says ok to Drew Carey and Donald Trump going in

The big issue is that if he goes in everyone will just say "oh he had to put himself in to stroke his ego".
I don't think we'll see him in until he dies.

Vince Probably Believes His HOF Induction Represents The End Of His Career, Which Probably Seems To Scare Him.

They should have a 3 hour Hall of Fame with only him as the inductee. Get Austin,Michaels,HHH the whole gang to go up there and induct him.

Or, maybe he's saving himself for a year when they run out of inductees - or can't get anyone good. He'd be the backup plan, so-to-speak... Since he can only use himself once - makes sense that he's putting it off...

I don't think Vince should go in yet, because I don't think he's done. I see the HOF induction as that final moment in someone's career that shows their career off as something worth working toward (sans the celeb wing). Vince probably still wants a match or two. I think WM 30 would be very fitting for him. I mean I see him going in at a big Mania number, one of the decade ones basically. He'll be 78 at WM40 and who knows if he'll make it that long, not to be a downer, but it's part of life.

I mixture of modesty and a sense that he isn't quite done yet I think. I mean putting yourself into the Hall of Fame would be like admitting you had become abit surplus to requirement. He may be phasing himself out, but he's still the boss.

I've always thought it was dumb to induct guys into the Hall Of Fame who are still active wrestlers/announcers/whatever. It just doesn't make sense if they want people to take the Hall Of Fame legitimately. It's tacky enough when they put in a wrestler just one year after he dies or retires, but to put the owner of the company in while he's still the owner would be dumb. Is Vince's dad in the Hall Of Fame? That's something I think they should do if he isn't in there already.

Yeah he was inducted in 1996, he was the last inductee before the new hall of fame came to be in 2004

I mean if Koko B Ware is in, I don't see why Vince can't be.

His speech will be long - but interesting. First thing he'll probably say though is - "I regret buying out WCW..."

I'm pretty sure Vince is immortal so we don't have to worry about that.
