Friday The 13th - my fave was A New Blood (7) Halloween - 1 A Nightmare On Elm Street - 4 was my fave. DREAM MASTER! probbly just cause i had it on vhs when i was little and watched it like everyday. Saw - 1 Scream - 1 Alien - 2 (Aliens) Predator - 1 Phantasm - 1 Evil Dead - LOVED THE REMAKE gonna go sacrelig and say that one (and yes, i've seen all of them) Final Destination - 1 The Texas Chainsaw Massacre - original, though i did enjoy the remake but i think that had a lot to do with jessica biel running around in a wet tank top Hellraiser - 3 was the one i've seen the most and at an impressionable age. it wasn't that great when i watched it recently but sentimentality reigns here. Child's Play - gotta go with 1, though the Bride and Seed movies were very entertaining.

I watched ANOES4 a lot when I was a kid too, it was among the very first Horror movies I ever saw. Ah, to be born in the late 80s right in the middle of the Freddy craze.

On the subject of The Exorcist, I recently was given a spare copy from a friend and can't wait to finally see it along with the rest of the series. Would be it be necessary to see both prequels before it? I know it has two different prequels.

A lot of people seem to like the third one, it sounds like an interesting movie but like it doesn't have much to do with the original other than some of the same characters.

I must repeat though.....avoid both prequels and II like an STD.

I don't think I've ever seen a positive review or comment for Exorcist II anywhere. Everyone I know universally agrees it's terrible.

And what about Hostel guys? I gotta say the first is my favorite but the 3rd is also very entertaining.

now this is just me talking....but I didn't find the Hostel movies to be Horror at all....they were just disgusting to watch.
the term Gorno is appropriate here.

I saw the first two Hostel movies and didn't care for either. I thought both were pretty boring and neither was that gruesome, either.

I'd say The Devil's Rejects was a little better than House Of 1, 000 Corpses.

I think Hostel kind of blurs between being both a Horror and Thriller.

I watched the remakes of Hills Have Eyes I & II last night and really enjoyed both of them.
the remake of the original is very good IMO and the best of the 4.

I didn't like the HHE remake personally, I enjoyed the original, though.
