for the moment....Yes...sadly yes. I think there are 3 possible scenarios on why Jakks is taking so long for series 3
#1. Money or the lack of #2. Sales or the lack of #3. they have a monkey in charge of the UFC line

What's the deal with the Jakks UFC line? Is Round 5 the only ' real ' way to get a decent collection going? Jakks - in their infinite wisdom - have decided to only make about 2 series per-year and sell them exclusively at K-Mart. You can still build up a decent collection with all the figures/series released so far... it will probably cost a bit though(!) for the moment....Yes...sadly yes. I think there are 3 possible scenarios on why Jakks is taking so long for series 3 #1. Money or the lack of #2. Sales or the lack of #3. they have a monkey in charge of the UFC line Not one of those 3 statements are true ...so why are they taking so long? I mean, they're outselling Mattel's WWE line... right?

I can't believe Ultimate Trollior still trolls this forum. That's one thing that will never change.

In regards to the OP, I have been checking the Facebook page every week for that next lineup that was supposed to be out this summer. I guess summer is a broad time, but I'm starting to get worried.

I think it's safe to assume it's dead No, new series are still coming out and Jakks has the license until 2018. Meanwhile, after Mattel WWE Basic 48 came out, stores were restocked with the shelfwarming waves of Basic 44 and 47. They are not going forward, only backwards. Why isn't Basic 49 and Elite 36 in stores?

Jakks and Round 5's contract expired at the end of 2013. Jakks hadn't produced anything in a couple years at that point. Round 5 decided not to renew and shut down. Series 14.5 would be the last series for Round 5.

I'm still mad about the Round 5 thing. Just when I was finally starting to get into collecting them, they shut down.
I really wish someone would put out some kind of UFC collectible line, and it doesn't have to be full blown action figures either. I would be fine with something along the lines of the Round 5 figs or the McFarline Sports figs.

It would be nice to get a Ronda Rousey figure in actual human proportions...and then eventually a CM Punk UFC figure as well.

Moreover, she's really close to Wwe , but Dana White won't loose the grip on using her name & image for merchandise contract. I heard Jessamyn Duke did a tryout for NXT... I hope all of this hype for a possible deal between UFC and WWE gives the hint to enter in the action figures industry

You really think that a kid friendly company would not only jump at the chance to release UFC Figures, a rather violent sport in its essence and drop a more kid-friendy company like WWE, who's figures have been the No 1. Selling Action Figure property in the US and have only continued to increase Mattel's profits? I mean, to each their own. But I am struggling to see why Mattel would jump to such a decision.

It's a joke from a few years ago. Some guy came on here and said the Jakks UFC line was outselling the WWE Mattel line.
