Glad you were able to tell they were galoob inspired. I loved the galoob figures. They were just to small which is why I re created them in the form of ljn. Here are a few more that are a little more original. You can find more of my work on Facebook @ RD Hazzard's Custom Wrestling Figures. like page if you can. I am always creating someone new.

I know I said this on your other post, but I really do like what you are doing with these LJN's! Tantanka and Dr. Death are amazing!

I went ahead and combined your two pages. Please continue to post new customs in this thread, so we have a history of your work. They are great! My favorite is your Jerry "The King" Lawler! That Piper head works great for him, nicely done!
Who are you working on now?

thanks. I couldn't figure out how to put all in one thread. the jerry lawler is actually a rowdy piper body modified with a bobby heenan right arm. I just started working on killer kowalski today. its a don muraco body with the shirt shaven down so it will look like it was never there. and a bruno sammartino head which will have a new hair style that I will create out of silicone...thanks again for the help organizing my posts. I have never used a forum before...

It can be a little challenging. Esp when changing body parts and trying not to have seam lines. As you may have noticed, ix make the shirts, singlets and even knee pads out of the silicone rather then just painting them. If you ever wanna get into customizing ljns on your own, I can show you the stuff I use from silicone to paint...It's really fun Scott Norton Barry Windham Dustin Rhodes Eddie Guerrero The Undertaker Road Warrior Animal The Giant Sgt Slaughter Killer Kowalski Almost time for reproduction. Time to pour the plaster for a mold of Sid Vicious. Custom figures will eventually be up for sale once I get the right casting resin. Figures will look and feel just like the original figures according to what I have been told by the company I am getting the casting resin from. Most figures will cost between $40-$50 depending on how detailed they are. Stone cold Steve Austin getting closer and closer to being finished Stone Cold Steve Austin

Nice job on the LJN customs! I used to dabble a bit, and would like to get back into it. I would love it if you could offer some pointers on the materials used, from the paint, the clay to prep your mold, and especially the adhesive you're using to attach the limbs and the process etc. I can tell you what I've done in the past, but I've had only limited success.
I've had this same idea for over 10 + years, that I would create a custom and then put together a two part mold to cast the figures in resin, but I realized that it takes me YEARS to complete one single custom! I never finish what I start. Once I get to a hard part I start another figure..lol. I love seeing people doing this, because it gets me motivated to start up again, and I love looking at other people's work.
Would you mind offering up some tips? I actually think I have a pretty good eye for good parts to use for certain guys, and in getting the right body type, but its a real challenge. I'll see if I can post the customs that I've had half done for years. Keep up the good work, and Iet us know how your first attempt at the two part mold goes. Thanks.
