I just wish they would build up to it some instead of just having him sort of drop into the tournament and win. I like Sonjay and all, but I'm pulling for Greg?. |

Sabin is either being stripped next week for the DQ win, or is dropping it very soon... most likely back to Bully.

Sabin is either being stripped next week for the DQ win, or is dropping it very soon... most likely back to Bully. I think we'll see a short transitional run. I'm cool with whatever he gets honestly. If he makes it to Thursday, that's a week longer than I ever thought he would hold the World Title. I think this is going to be very similar to the Aries run. I'm fully expecting to see Bully and Sabin in a cage for the rematch. I doubt Sabin makes it anywhere near BFG with the title though. I still think they'll stick with the BFG Series being designed as AJ's way back this year. I would love to see AJ vs Sabin, but I just don't think there is any chance that happens unless they commit more to AJ being heel, versus whatever tween character he is doing right now. So at the end of the day, I still think AJ vs Bully has been written in sharpie for the BFG main event title match. |

2 - how did Kurt Angle get back? I thought they were offering him a deal he couldn't refuse or something like that?

wow, i did not see that coming. i wish the match was a little bit better, but interesting direction they are going here. it seems like tna saves their biggest stuff for tv.

Just got home from this show. The crowd went nuts when Sabin won. I have two questions from this show. 1 - where was Taz? 2 - how did Kurt Angle get back? I thought they were offering him a deal he couldn't refuse or something like that? No clue. Where Angle came back to the building was literally around the corner from where he was thrown in the truck. ot 50 yards away. The truck does belong to long time OVW announcer/Bully's lawyer Dean Hill. |

They use it during the Kentucky state fair a short cut from Broadbent arena to the other side of the Fairgrounds, since there are four huge wings, Freedom Hall, and Broadbent arena otherwise it'd take a dickyear to walk around the whole building. |

Legit shocked Sabin won't the title. I never thought they'd give it to him, but I'm glad he's got this moment. Makes me wonder WTF they are doing with AJ. I thought for sure he'd be the guy to beat Bully. If Sabin dropped it back to Bully & AJ took it from him, I think it would kill what they had going, as I thought they were bound to face off. I don't know, this is TNA I'm talking about.
Nice to see Trent on TV. If TJ doesn't get the belt (which I figured he would of), I can see Trent getting it just for some more shock value.

I can't believe they had Bully lose to Sabin!
Congrats to him although I think somehow they will screw him out of it.
Gail/Mickie was fun. They should have built up their title match longer. I mean what is up with them always having title matches 2 weeks after a new contender is found?
They should have 30 days to defend it so how about a tag match on Impact..? I know it may be hard with their 4 KOs but still.. A singles match with one on commentary would also work to give some build..
The X-Division triple threats were good but they should have had the first one go last since it was the best and it really seemed like the 3 ways got worse as the night went on.
Aries/Roode was great like you would expect. Poor Roode losing so much. I guess he may be in for a face turn?

I agree with this tbh. Because I think it's awesome to see Sabin win, I don't care, but honestly, AJ being the guy to bring down Aces & 8's was the story I thought they were telling. As we've discussed though, AJ really turned away from being the Sting character with his promos. It doesn't seem impossible to me that we could potentially see a heel AJ vs a baby Chris Sabin at BFG, with Bully taking an active part in the MEM feud. Now, that's not to say I think Bully vs AJ is no longer the planned go-to main event, but they took away a bunch of the thunder from AJ if they planned on having him take the title away from Bully as a babyface. But that goes back to AJ not really being a baby. Doesn't want anyones help, in it for the money, going to win at all costs against anyone, including a top face like Hardy. So maybe we were just seeing AJ's character all wrong the entire time because we were assuming he was Sting way too early on to really tell. As for the X-Title, TJ is really the only guy I don't want to see win of the 3. I like him, a lot actually, but the Suicide/Manik character is awful imo and I can't get behind it in any fashion. Sonjay gets the nod because he hasn't won it, and I think Greg? is going to be the new "it" guy in the division. To be fair though, if Greg? gets over with a good character, he can easily transition to the higher part of the card pretty quickly. He's 6'0 and could easily stand against a Bobby Roode or James Storm type and look like a threat imo. |

Great main event! Everything else was lackluster. Is it just me or is Bully gaining weight? He looked bigger tonight.
