Alright so I hadn't collected since the Jakks days and I started back last week. Here is what I picked up in 7 days. Elite 15- Mark Henry Elite 19- Bryan, Ziggler Elite 20- Cena, Rhodes, Y2J, Santino, Punk Elite 21- Ryback, Rey, ADR, Orton BAF JL- Cena, Sin Cara, Christian, Sheamus Battle Packs- Prime Time Players
My dilemma is I feel like I'm too far behind....any advice?

Just pick up ones that you really want. That's what I've done. Started re-collecting in about April and have built a steady collection of 15 Elites that I really, really like.

You're fine, dude ... I think Elites really took a turn for the better around series 12-14, so just grab who you like but that's a good place to start IMO.

Just buy the ones you like and pass on the ones you can do without. If I don't find the entertaining in real life I certainly don't need them on my shelves.

Thanks for all the feedback. I planned on checking some local flea markets for some of the older figs. When does everyone suspect elite 22 to hit stores?

Just pick up what you like and don't worry about being to far behind. Most figures have had multiple releases so you aren't really behind on much. Jericho, Cean,Orton, Punk all the major guys have and will be released again.

Only get the ones you want. You don't have to be a completest...unless that's your thing.

Mattel is producing so many great figures right now, and with SDCC next week we're gonna see some more.
I felt it was time to stop for personal reasons and circumstance, if I could afford to and had the room I'd still b an avid moc Mattel collector.

Very nice. To be honest, last year when I started collecting I kind of felt the same way. but now I've amassed over 100 figures and its great. Keep on keepin on, man.

You could probably look on ebay for some big lots of figures and try to go that route but ya collecting the older ones, especially one piece at a time, will be alot of effort and money especially if your looking to build a large collection with alot of older ones.

That's a great start for a week. You can catch up with the older figs a few each month.
I just started myself. I only have 5 moc and a few opened.
Just make a list who you want keep checking on eBay etc. try and get good value.

There's no such thing as "too far behind" with Mattel. Considering the frequency at which quality new figures are released, you'll have more than you know what to do with before you know it.
