This is why SDCC should move to the east coast. Faster news, faster haha.
I'm looking forward to the Q&A more than I have been in the past. I'm sure that's a next week thing, but I feel like Mattel has done so much now that we can really start getting away with more now in terms of stuff like Legends/FBs. I know the 80's fans were disappointed, so I'd love to hear MDT discuss that and where we stand with Flair, WWE Shop exclusives, or even just any update on old protos like Magnum. They have made their way through so much of the roster, that it's impossible to not find new ways to get collectors interested with different stuff. So hopefully we hear about some longterm direction from them. I've read so many good ideas on here, such as father and son 2-packs, which I would love to see. Hopefully we are now to the point where Mattel can make ideas like that a reality. I'd love a better attempt at Mr. Perfect, even in Basic form, with Curtis Axel, all complete with IC Title(s). I'd love an NWA Dusty along with a mustachioed newly turned baby Cody. How about a Bray Wyatt and IRS 2-pack? Yeah, amazing. That would essentially give us Money Inc. in Basic form. Even if you aren't in love with the first go-round of Ted Dibiase, that's still an iconic tag team checked off the list. So hopefully we hear some cool things are headed our way and we don't get sort of that same old song and dance we've gotten in the past. Again, Mattel's come a long way in a short period of time, so I expect more unique ideas moving forward.
